Strong Style Lucha: Rise of a King

Strong Style Lucha returns to the Moran Family Center in Bridgeport, Ohio on Saturday, August 15 for Rise of a King, featuring the King of the Valley Tournament, multiple championship matches and a loaded night of action.

One of the biggest matches of the night will see SSL Heavyweight Champion Drew Ryans put the title on the line against “No Good” Nathan Aulridge. Ryans enters Bridgeport with the championship around his waist, but Aulridge will be looking to bring his reign to an abrupt end.

The SSL Light Heavyweight Championship will also be defended as champion Jay Bevington squares off with challenger Jay Knight.

The women’s division will be represented as well, with Chelsea Lyons going one-on-one with Slammin’ Sammy.

Tag team action will play a major role at Rise of a King, as the SSL Tag Team Titles will be decided in a Tag Team Gauntlet Match. White Trash Wilderness, Double Tap, Mid-Atlantic Express, Saturday Night Special, The Masked Martians and Kilted Order are all advertised for the gauntlet, setting up a six-team battle for the championship.

The show will also feature the King of the Valley Tournament, culminating in a huge 20-Man Rumble. Advertised participants include Gunnar Bergman, The Outlaw, Iranian Crusher, The Cellblock Savage Jaxx, Proof JD LeDuc, Buckshot Billy, Highway Miles Jacobs, CJ Monroe, Axel Law, Cutthroat Clay Campbell, Ryan Zane, Spike Stanley and William Rene, along with other SSL stars.

Rise of a King takes place Saturday, August 15 at the Moran Family Center, 68583 Scott Street in Bridgeport, Ohio. Bell time is 6:00 p.m.
