Exodus Pro: Declaration of Independents

Exodus Pro returns to Collision Bend Brewing Company in Euclid on Friday, August 14 for Declaration of Independents, bringing together a loaded lineup of Exodus regulars, championship contenders and familiar names from across independent wrestling.

At the top of the card is a massive Winner Takes All main event as Exodus Midwest Champion Richard Holliday goes one-on-one with JCW World Heavyweight Champion Josh Bishop — with both championships at stake.

Holliday has established himself at the top of Exodus Pro, but Declaration of Independents presents an entirely different kind of challenge. Bishop makes his Exodus debut with an opportunity to immediately capture the promotion’s top prize while putting his own JCW championship on the line. If Bishop wins, he would become only the second wrestler to capture championship gold in his Exodus debut. For Holliday, a victory would add another promotion’s heavyweight championship to his collection.

Either way, somebody leaves Euclid carrying a lot more gold than they arrived with.

The Exodus Tag Team Championship will also be on the line in a three-way match as Holy Grail defend against No Bail Posted and MBEALEJ. With three teams fighting for the titles at once, the champions won’t even have to be involved in the decision to potentially see their reign come to an end.

Another first-time matchup pits “Merciless” Lord Crewe against “The Alternative” Anthony Greene. Greene brings years of experience from around the wrestling world into Exodus, while Crewe will look to continue carving a path of destruction through anyone placed in front of him.

Dante Casanova will square off with Ashton Day, while Christian Napier takes on Hayden Backlund. Another singles match will see LJ Cleary battle Blake Banks.

Tag team action is also scheduled with The ExoBros taking on TME, adding another team showdown to an already tag-heavy card.

The show will also feature the Exodus Pro debut of “The Ultimate Athlete” J-Rod, who enters the promotion with an immediate opportunity to move into championship contention. J-Rod will be looking to establish herself as the No. 1 contender to the Exodus Women’s Championship in her very first appearance.

And the roster advertised for Declaration of Independents goes well beyond the announced matches. EC3, Shot Through the Heart, VNDL48, Ava Brooks and others are also featured among the talent scheduled to appear, giving Exodus Pro plenty of possibilities beyond what has already been announced.

Declaration of Independents takes place Friday, August 14 at Collision Bend Brewing Company, 1261 Babbitt Road in Euclid, Ohio. Doors open at 6:05 p.m., with bell time scheduled for 7:05 p.m.
