W.A.R. Results – WAR: Resurrection – 10/10/09

Posted: November 2, 2009

Resurrection kicked off with The Voice of W.A.R. Wrestling Slick Rick welcoming us to the return of W.A.R. Wrestling and introducing W.A.R. Owner The Postmaster Big Tom Williams. The Postmaster asked all the wrestlers to come down to the ring and then lead the show with a 10 bell salute to the wrestlers who have given their lives for the wrestling business with specific emphasis on the memorial of W.A.R. Original Sweet Stevie Lee (Russell Hardman) who passed away on October 12, 2005.

Several minutes after the tribute, Bad Attitude Brian Beech and Metal Head Steve Stone came out and thanked the W.A.R. fans for all of their support. Then, they asked The Postmaster to come back out.

The Postmaster shocked the crowd when he announced that he was stepping down as owner to manage Stamp Lickage because of what he called a conflict of interest. In his place will be a formal Board of Directors. As such, the Board of Directors asked for a clean slate, and The Postmaster had the difficult task of stripping Metal Head Steve Stone of the W.A.R. Championship.

Sherman Tank, General Lee, and Brandon Blaze all made their way down to the ring as Steve Stone grabbed a chair from the outside. After a tense standoff, Steve Stone shocked the Lima crowd by turning on The Postmaster and blasting him in the back with a steel chair. The group proceeded to beat down The Postmaster and Bad Attitude Brian Beech. Matt Mason and Robby Starr attempted to come to their rescue, but the numbers game caught up with them, and they were incapacitated as well.

Dusty Dillinger came down to the ring smirking, as if everything had gone perfectly to plan. Steve Stone, Sherman Tank, Brandon Blaze and General Lee pulled The Postmaster to his feet as Dusty took his time grabbing a steel chair. Just as Dusty was about to hit The Postmaster, he turned and blasted Metal Head Steve Stone with the chair, much to the crowds delight.

Dusty proceeded to clear the ring with the steel chair, then got on the microphone and announced that he was indebted to The Postmaster because when he got sick, The Postmaster was the only one that called him and then Dusty said he wanted a match with Steve Stone for the W.A.R. Championship.

The Postmaster granted Dusty Dillinger the match, and made it a steel cage match! The Postmaster also announced Brandon Blaze would go one on one with Bad Attitude Brian Beech and that Matt Mason and Robby Starr would take on Sherman Tank and General Lee.

After all parties made their way to the back, Slick Rick asked everyone to rise for the national anthem, and W.A.R. Wrestling kicked off with its first match of Resurrection.

Kaden Assad defeated Astonishing Aaron Williams via submission with the camel clutch. The Crowd was behind Aaron Williams the entire match with a strong USA chant against Kaden Assad. The finish saw Williams miscalculate a 5 Star Frog Splash to allow Assad to capitalize and defeat Williams, much to the crowds dislike.

Rock Show Ernie Ballz w/ Brian Bender defeated Amazing N8 Mattson via pinfall. At one point in the match, Mattson had the figure four on Ballz and Bender stormed the ring to aid his partner. Mattson made short work of Team Clash and sent them to the outside. Ernie Ballz and Brian Bender both crawled under the ring, then re-emerged wearing masks. The fresh Brian Bender entered the ring, and unbeknownst to the referee, began competing in the match. The ending saw Brian Bender distract the referee and Ernie Ballz to hit a short arm lariat so Brian Bender could pick up the victory for Team Clash.

Gutter defeated Jordan McEntyre via pinfall in under 30 seconds after Danny Daniels refused to wrestle him and introduced McEntyre as his protege. Afterwards, Daniels agreed to an actual match with Gutter.

Gutter defeated The King of Lima Danny Daniels via pinfall. In the end, Daniels grabbed a piece of gutter drain pipe named Cindy that Gutter had brought to the ring and inadvertantly struck McEntyre, allowing Gutter to capitalize and pick up the win.

Jeff Cannon and Jeremy Madrox defeated Ganger and Eric Smallz via pinfall when the Old School Empire provided a distraction. Post match, Jeff Cannon and Madrox accepted a proposal to watch The Old School Empires back.

Ripper Blackhart got on the microphone for Rippers Rant only to be interrupted by Tyson Judge and Mike Dodge. After trading insults, they agree to a 6 man Old School Empire vs. Tyson Judge, Mike Dodge and a partner of their choosing for later in the night.

The Soul Shooters defeated Carlton Kaz and Jordan McEntyre via submission.

Mr. Old School, Mr. Main Event, Killer Kris Konflict, and Ripper Blackhart defeated Mike Dodge, Tyson Judge, Stamp Lickage and The Postmaster via pinfall on Mike Dodge. The Postmaster included himself and Ripper in the match after it was revealed Stamp Lickage was Mike Dodge and Tyson Judges mystery partner. The end came when Madrox and Cannon resurfaced to provide a distraction and allow Mr. Old School to pick up the pinfall.

Brandon Blaze defeated Bad Attitude Brian Beech via pinfall after Sherman Tank and General Lee came down for the distraction. Post match, The High-Def Super Novas Matt Mason and Robby Starr came down to prevent another onslaught, and initiate their match.

The High-Def Super Novas defeated Sherman Tank and General Lee via pinfall. Post match, The High-Def Super Novas celebrated their victory, much to the crowds pleasure.

Metal Head Steve Stone defeated Dusty Dillinger via escaping the cage after Sherman Tank, General Lee, and Brandon Blaze came back down for the distraction and to shut the cage door on Dustys face and knock him off the cage just as he was about to escape. Post match, Robby Starr and Brian Beech came down to the ring to get into the cage, but couldnt as the members held the door shut while Stone and company took turns dismantling Dusty. While focused on Beech and Starr, Mason ran in from behind, scaled the cage, then jumped with a death defying flying cross body from the top of the cage onto Sherman Tank, General Lee and Brandon Blaze! Beech and Starr stormed the ring and made short work of the members, as Steve Stone quickly escaped and the other members ran for their lives.

The show ended as Dusty Dillinger thanked Robby Starr, Matt Mason and Brian Beech and said that this is the new face of W.A.R. Wrestling before all four men took turns posing at the four sides of the cage for the fans.
