Magnum Pro – Ashtabula, OH

Posted on May 9, 2013 by

Magnum Pro WrestlingMagnum Pro Wrestling makes it’s way to Ashtabula, OH for Chase 4 The Case on Saturday May 25, 2013 at G.O. Ministries locate at 3703 Station Ave. in Ashtabula, OH. Doors open at 4:30 PM, with a 5:00 PM bell time. Tickets are only $8.00 at the door with a canned food donation, or $10.00 with out the donation.

Magnum Pro Wrestling’s annual event Chase 4 The Case, returns in 2013 with a special one night mini-tournament. As in the past, 4 singles qualifying matches will determine the 4 competitors that will face off in a 4-way elimination match, with the winner receiving a briefcase containing an “anytime, anywhere” Heavyweight Title match contract! This is one night of action you won’t want to miss! Find out who will fall short of their title dreams, and which wrestler will leapfrog into contention!

Let’s take a look at some of the competitors that will be vying the guaranteed shot at the championship…

- Magnum Pro Wrestling is proud to announce the first official entrant into the 2013 CHASE 4 THE CASE is Angus O’Toole! “The Ultimate Beef” is no stranger to the Chase setup. Competing in the same event last year Angus qualified for the final 4-way, falling short to eventual winner, Lamont “Action” Williams. Will Angus turn his recent misfortunes around and win the anytime, anywhere contract?

- Entrant #2 into the CHASE 4 THE CASE is none other than Joey “The Snake”. The Snake has been on a mission as of recent, attempting to win his first title in Magnum Pro Wrestling. The Snake is highly motivated to win the Chase, and receive a guaranteed Heavyweight Title shot. Will he take one step closer to his goal?

- Our 3rd entrant in the CHASE 4 THE CASE is Jeff Meekins. Coincidentally, Meekins made his debut the day of the first Chase final, buying his way into the match. Having prior experience may prove beneficial for Meekins, as the grappler has flirted with winning the Heavyweight Championship. As of late, Jeff has a number of impressive wins on his resume, most impressively winning the 10-man tag team elimination match at the Wreck The Halls, standing tall as the sole survivor of the match. However, will this experience be enough to catapult Meekins toward gold?

- Rounding out the first half of our entrants is Scott Prodigy. When the Chase began last year, the target was on Scott Prodigy, as he held the Heavyweight Championship. Before the Chase concluded, Prodigy had lost the title, and has been on the hunt to regain it since. So far, Scott is the only former Heavyweight Champion in the Chase, and therefore, an early favorite to win the anytime, anywhere contract. Will his experience prove beneficial? Or will looking ahead toward the title prove to be a distraction?

- The second half of entry announcements for the CHASE 4 THE CASE kicks off with…Chase! “The Trendsetter” Chase Aaryons enters the competition after nearly unseating Open Division Champ, The Aftermath, two events in a row. Now Aaryons sets his sights on a larger prize: the Magnum Pro Heavyweight Title. Showing resiliency in hard fought matches, will Chase outlast all entrants and win the anytime, anywhere contract?

- Chase 4 The Case Entrant #6 – “Flyin” Ryan Burke! This high-flying combatant always appears to be the underdog, but has overcome a number of obstacles to succeed and stay near the top of Magnum Pro Wrestling for close to a year. During last year’s Chase, Burke was competing for, and won the Magnum Pro Heavyweight Title from Scott Prodigy. However, Burke felt the harsh side of the Chase outcome, as eventual contract winner Lamont “Action” Williams, cashed in his contract after Burke suffered a savage beatdown in tag team competition. Burke has tried to regain the championship since, an opportunity he had to forfeit at April’s Breakthrough, as Ryan’s latest obstacle comes in the way of a serious medical condition that left him in the hospital for several days, and unable to athletically compete for weeks. Will Ryan overcome the odds as he always does, or will the underdog succumb to another favorite in the competition?

- Plus two more entrants that are still to be announced!

Also in action at Chase 4 The Case…

- Officially signed for CHASE 4 THE CASE, The Forsaken have signed their #1 contender’s contract and will challenge the Magnum Pro Tag Team Champions, Aces High! The Forsaken have been on a roll as of late, winning all of their tag matches in 2013, while Benett Cole nearly upset Heavyweight Champion, The Bouncer, at March’s Press Your Luck. Aces High successfully defended their tag titles against One Sexy Snake at last month’s Breakthrough, and are the only two-time Magnum Pro Tag Team Champions. Will the momentum continue for The Forsaken or for Aces High?

Tickets can be purchased in advance by phone at (440) 364-6540. For more information, check out Magnum Pro Wrestling’s official website at www.magnumprowrestling.com.
