After a brief hiatus, The Unstoppable Wrestling Alliance lived up to their name by making their return to action last night in Monroe, OH. If you weren’t there, here is what you missed…

The opening match was our “International Incident” between Russia’s Ivan Dragonov and America’s own Ganger. A low blow from Dragonov gave him the opening to hit his “Crimson Hammer” for the victory, much to the dismay of the fans.

The next bout was set for the vacant UWA Tag Team Championships and pitted the duo of “The Love Machine” Justin Green and the masked man known as Xylon against the red hot Punk Rock Rebellion. The Punk Rockers were able to capture their first Pro Wrestling titles with a clean pinfall over Xylon.

The following contest was 1/2 of Murder City Inc. Benjamin Kimera’s $1000 Bodyslam challenge. MCI came to the ring and told everyone that Tyson Judge was not in the building, and that Ben was going to take his $1000 and go back to Detroit. Then, UWA Owner Ken Kross interjected stating he had found a suitable replacement for the Challenge…the 6 foot 6 350lb Mike Maddness all the way from Anchorage, Alaska! After a struggle Maddness was able to bodyslam Kimera, and claim the $1000 prize, but the celebration was shortlived, as Jason Kimera attacked both Mike Maddness and Owner Ken Kross with the Unstoppable Championship belt!

The next match pitted two “young lions” in a fast paced, high impact affair with The Suicidal Samoan locking horns with Freek. After a seesaw battle, Freek was able to come out victorious!

It was now time for the Main Event Tables Match for the Unstoppable Title! Challenger Balck Dragon took it right to Champion Jason Kimera right from the opening bell. The match quickly spilled outside, with both men throwing everything they had at one another. Using a ladder, the table, and the ring steps as weapons, it was Kimera’s introduction of the chair that turned the tide of the match in his favor. After brutalizing the Dragon with the chair, Kimera placed Dragon on the table, left the chair on top of his prone body and hit the flying elbow from the top rope, driving Black Dragon through the table on the arena floor to retain the Unstoppable Title! The stunned crowd then were about to bare witness to the end of Black Dragon’s career as MCI prepared to break his arm with a chair when President Frank Hughes lead the cavalry of UWA Tag Champs Punk Rock Rebellion and Mike Maddness to his aid. Hughes then announced an impromptu 6 Man Tag match pitting his a fore mentioned “cavalry” against the Battered Jason Kimera, Ben Kimera and their surprise partner, ‘Love Machine” Justin Green!

Our impromptu match saw a back and forth battle in the beginning break down into the isolation of Gee Gee by MCI and Green. However, when the going got tough, Murder City Inc. got going, leaving “The Love Machine” all alone to take the pinfall. Leaving The Punk Rock Rebellion, Mike Maddness and President Frank Hughes to celebrate with the Unstoppable Fans!

Thanks to everyone who came out and we will be announcing our next date very soon! Be sure to check out www.uwawrestling.com!

Unstoppable Wrestling Alliance Closes Doors

Posted: April 20, 2009

Fans, we have just learned that the Unstoppable Wrestling Alliance, which has been making quite a name for themselves over the past few months, has indeed closed it’s doors. The following was posted on the Wrestle Ohio forum by UWA owner, Frank Hughes:

I have posted this press release today to inform you of my decision to resign as CEO of Unstoppable Wrestling Alliance, LLC.

I fully appreciate this decision will come as a shock to members of the company. But it is a decision which, in the past five months current, has grown unavoidable for multiple reasons.

One is my personal and growing sense of outrage at the damage being done to the UWA within. The changes of the governing body and the actions have been a defining episode for me. I have reached the conclusion that, for me, the vision become blind.

Obviously, this has been a terribly hard decision to make. I have only really resolved it in the past week. In making this move, the one deep regret I have is for the dream I leave behind.

Some of those close to me know of the frustrations that have slowly overtaken me. Other people will wonder why I take this step. The answer is that I have found it increasingly difficult to stand in the middle; knowingly that the other side avoid proper procedures, and I have grown so alarmed by the kind of politics being played out.

Over the course the empty-avoidable promises that lead to unsuccessful and un-motivational organized workmanship; is the obstruction that is unjustifiable and not forgotten. The reflection from the past is overwhelmingly noticeable; that questionable reputation of creditability surfaces.

In closing I want to thank everyone who followed me throughout my duration of time; believed of a fulfillment of hope, and aspired by the vision I dreamed. Many people are not credited for their efforts and I sincerely thank you for all the time, hard-work, money, blood, sweat and tears we all have shared to build the UWA from ground-level-up.

- Frank Hughes

Also, the following was posted on the official UWA website sometime last week:

It is with the deepest sadness and regret to inform all of our supporters and loyal fans that the UWA will no longer be able to
perform for you.

There will be no more shows at Sports of All Sorts.

We want to extend our utmost appreciation to each and every one that has been a part of the UWA Family!

Thank you and God Bless!

UWA: The Unstoppable Insider Report – 2/01/09

Posted: February 1, 2009

I am the “Unstoppable Insider” Luther Cliff here with the final Insider Report before “Fallout”…

As reported on uwawrestling.com, Cody Hawk has signed on with the UWA and will be participating at the big “Fallout” event just days away on Feb. 7th. Hawk’s debut coincides with the mysterious purchase of 49% of controlling shares of the UWA…is The Indy Icon Frank Hughes new business partner?!

If the business partner isn’t Cody Hawk, who else is on the list of suspects? Well, many names have been thrown around here at uwawrestling.com with the only answer certain being that we will all have to be at Fallout on Feb 7th @ Sports of All Sorts to find out!

Jason Kimera told me on an exclusive phone interview yesterday that “Everyone says the ladder match is the most dangerous, unpredictable match in all of wrestling. Well, the most dangerous match for Andre Heart to be in is ANY match against me, and it’s not unpredictable, I’m walking out the first ever Unstoppable Champion!” The ever confident Kimera will find if his prediction holds true this Saturday.

Super Bowl fever has hit everyone in the country, including the UWA…my prediction…The Arizona Cardinals will be winning their first Super Bowl!

UWA owner Frank Hughes is refusing to comment on who he thinks his new business partner is…maybe he knows more than he is letting on?

Multiple sources have told me that UWA Tag-Team Championships may be right around the corner…

Don’t forget Fallout this Saturday! Until next time…

What a way to kick off the new year for the UWA by giving away a free DVD of the December 6th show! The fans were pumped and ready to receive a DVD but shortly after UWA ring announcer Bochephus gave away the DVD he was interrupted by Murder City Inc a.k.a. Ben and Jason Kimera. Ben grabbed the microphone and told the fans that he had some bad news about DeJa Vu. Going on to say that DeJa Vu would not be at the show and that he had a bad accident with the baseball bat that he carried out to the ring with him. Jason seemed very pleased that he had Andre Heart one-on-one in the no DQ match and that’s the way it seemed from the fans point of view. However Andre came out and had some bad news of his own for Ben stating the he didn’t have the night off just because of what happened to DeJa Vu and that he found a replacement. That replacement was Jon Moxley!

Our first contest is a one-on-one bout between Dan-O-Mite and “So Fine” Frank Stein

Frank Stein didn’t delay on his antics by having Boceaphus re-introduce him and telling the fans that he didn’t want to here any “Frank Stein sucks” chants. And of course he got the complete opposite by getting plenty of “Frank Stein sucks” chants. Dan-O-Mite out powered and outsmarted Frank Stein during the first half of the match by backing him into the corner on two separate occasions and letting Stein get tangled into the corner upside down by missing a clothesline. He also got stein between the middle and top ropes and then proceeded to hit him with knife edge chops. Both men went back and forth controlling the match before Dan-O-Mite was able to trap Stein into a modified version of the cross face making Frank Stein tap out.

Bo likes to give stuff away and it shows! He gave away a free soda and bag of chips to the loudest fan before the next match.

Next up is General Lee vs. Xylon

Xylon came out fired up but that wasn’t enough to match up with General Lee as Xylon had no time for an offensive front with General Lee staying focused throughout the entire match and making quick work of Xylon, hitting a neck breaker for the 1-2-3.

Bo interviewed Mary Elizabeth talking about how dominant she was during the rumble at the last show and asking her if she really thought that she could win it. She went on to say that she didn’t think she could win, she knew she could win. She also went on to say that she thought things would be different at the UWA but when she arrived she didn’t have another female to wrestle. So she issued an open challenge that didn’t go unanswered for very long as V-Rad made his unwanted entrance; and began to tell Mary Elizabeth that he was going to put her in check.

Our next contest pits Dylan Bostic against Roderick Stone

This match started out fast with Roderick Stone hitting a monkey flip on Dylan Bostic and a few stiff punches in the corner. Dylan was able to get firm control of a headlock before Stone was able to get into the ropes for a 5 count break. Stone hit Bostic with a few quick moves sending Bostic retreating to the outside. Showboating on the outside, Bostic did everything he could to break the 10 count and remain on the outside. Once Dylan returned to the ring Stone regained his previous momentum and control of the match hitting move after move on Bostic. However Bostic wasn’t out yet as he was able to grab another headlock and take some of the momentum away from Stone. Bostic tried for a moon-sault off the top rope and missed allowing Roderick Stone to hit a Double Underhook DDT for the victory.

Our next contest is a tag team match Adrenaline X w/ Nikki Heyman vs. The Kid and Sid Angel

Adrenaline X was very upset that the fans were chanting K-I-D for The Kid, arguing with the fans for minutes before entering the ring and starting the match. Despite the crowd distraction Adrenaline X was able to take care of business making quick work of Sid Angel and The Kid and picking up the victory.

Next is Jon Moxley vs. Ben Kimera

The size of Kimera showed against Moxley as moxley tried to take the big man off his feet to no avail. However, Moxley was still able to gain some offense against Kimera, sending him to the outside and body slamming him onto the floor. Both men cheated throughout the entire match trying to get some momentum going but neither man could get enough momentum to stop the other. Kimera was getting frustrated so he went to the outside and grabbed a baseball bat from under the ring. Kimera brought the bat into the ring but moxley was able to get the bat and chase Kimera out of the ring. Jon Moxley won via count out.

V-Rad one-on-one vs. Mary Elizabeth

Mary Elizabeth got off to a quick start dropkicking V-Rad in the knee area and hitting him with a DDT. V-Rad retreated to the outside to argue with the fans. It seems that it was just what V-Rad needed as he was able to come back and take it to Mary Elizabeth hitting various moves that seemed to put her out for the count. The referee didn’t take to kind to V-Rad making multiple pins throughout the match only to release the pin after the 2 count. Getting upset with the referee V-Rad almost got disqualified by arguing and grabbing the ref’s shirt. Mary Elizabeth was able to get the 1-2-3 after hitting a RKO of the top rope.

And of course Bo wasn’t done giving stuff away as he gave away a free DVD after the match!

The main event pitted Jason Kimera against Andre Heart in a no DQ Match

Heart wasted no time what so ever getting things started going straight after Jason Kimera and no time at all the match was outside in the crowd. Both men went back and forth hitting each other with chairs and anything else they could get their hands on. The match spilled over by the concession stand where Andre was able to find some pie. Long story short he made Kimera wear it. Both men finally made it back to the ring were they continued to go back and forth. Once again back to the outside Andre hit Kimera with a can of Dr. Pepper and spit it in his face. Back to the ring again with Kimera gaining control of the match. After minutes of putting it to Andre, Kimera got upset and kicked the referee in the face. Minutes later Andre went for a pin and another referee came out however that didn’t last long as Ben Kimera took out that referee and then Andre getting Jason Kimera the victory.

Murder City Inc. was able to get a couple shots in on Andre before the entire locker room came out to make the save and chased MCI to the outside. Unhappy with what has happened Frank Hughes made his way out to the ring stating that on February 7th there will be a Ladder match to declare the first ever UWA Unstoppable Champion.

Be sure to check out UWAwrestling.com for more information on our up coming show and make sure you get to Sports of all Sorts on February 7th to see Andre Heart go on-on-one against Jason Kimera in a ladder match to crown the first ever UWA Unstoppable Champion.

UWA: The Unstoppable Insider Report

Posted: January 6, 2009

This is the Unstoppable Insider with the inaugural Insider Report. There is ALOT to cover in the world of Unstoppable Wrestling going into New Years Redemption so here we go:

- It has been confirmed by UWA President Frank Hughes that Jason Kimera’s attorney has indeed contacted the head office in regards to his client not participating in the No DQ match on January 10th at New Years Resolution. These requests have been denied; and the match is set No DQ for Andre Heart and Kimera.

“If Jason Kimera does not honor the contract for New Years Redemption on January 10th he will be terminated from the UWA.” -Frank Hughes, UWA President

- Speaking of wrestlers contacting the head office, Deja Vu is lobbying to get a match signed against Ben Kimera on January 10th following the fallout from Christmas Collision!

- Wildman Rogers isn’t making any friends among the UWA staff stemming from his recent mistreatment of Security team member Robbie Raines. With Robbie’s extensive background in the mixed martial arts world, Wildman should possibly tread softly…

- Rumor has it that the UWA February show may be VERY unlucky…

- UWA President Frank Hughes has reportedly been shopping the Unstoppable product to several local TV stations, trying to acquire a timeslot.

- The Tri-County Strangler has been officially signed to participate in the upcoming “Golden Challenge Battle Royal”. He, along with several other yet unnamed superstars will be fighting for a spot in the match to declare the first Unstoppable Champion!

- UWA MC Bo Cephus has assured the entire staff here at uwawrestling.com that he has a very special guest lined up for a live interview at New Year’s Redemption!

- Don’t forget to check back here and at www.uwawrestling.com in the coming weeks leading into New Year’s Redemption for all the latest Insider information from me, The Unstoppable Insider!

Results – UWA: Christmas Collision – 12/06/08

Posted: December 24, 2008

Man I tell you almost a week removed from our big December event and I’m still pumped over what all has happened. We gave away a free DVD of our first show (November 8th 2008) to our loudest fan but that’s not all! The owner of Unstoppable Wrestling also told the lucky winner that he could ring the bell for the first two matches after intermission.

We’ve already got a big no disqualification match, a Battle Royal, and much more set for the January 10th show. Make sure your there when we kick the new year off with a bang live at Sports of all sorts in Springdale (Cincinnati),Ohio.

We started the show off with a Battle Royal

Order of Entry

1. Chico Sauvay
2. “Hollywood” Jay Williamson
3. Andre Heart
4. Ben Kimera
5. Jason Kimera
6. “Deja Vu” Richard Phillips
7. Wildman Rogers
8. Chip Dailey
9. Dan O’ Myte
10. Tri-County Strangler
11. “So Fine” Frank Stein
12. Mary Elizabeth

Order of Exit

1. Hollywood Jay Williamson by Andre Heart
2. Chico Sauvay by Andre Heart
3. Wildman Rogers by Andre Heart
4. Tri-County Strangler by Mary Elizabeth
5. Mary Elizabeth by Ben Kimera
6. “So Fine” Frank Stein by Ben Kimera and Andre Heart
7. Chip Dailey by Ben Kimera
8. Dan O’Myte by Deja Vu
9. Deja Vu by Ben Kimera
10. Ben Kimera by Andre Heart
11. Jason Kimera by Andre Heart

Your winner of the Battle Royal is Andre Heart

However the referee’s did not see Andre Heart eliminate Jason Kimera. During the time of the elimination of Jason Kimera both referee’s were attempting to break up Deja Vu and Ben Kimera who were in an intense scuffle on the floor. The brawl allowed Jason Kimera enough time to slide back into the ring and toss Andre over the top rope to the floor. Jason ran over to the corner yelling at the referee’s to look. Both referee’s looked and acknowledged Jason Kimera as the winner of the battle royal. Andre Heart was furious, arguing with the referee’s, stating his case as the true winner. Deja Vu came out to clear the ring of Murder City Inc. Andre jumped back in the ring and grabbed a microphone to again state his case as being the original winner. GP Code and Murder City Inc. went back and fourth on the microphone’s with the Murder City Inc. stating that the GP Code are a bunch of cheaters and that’s how Andre won the battle Royal. Fed up with Murder City Inc. accusations Andre challenged Jason Kimera to a no DQ match on January 10th 2009 at Sports of all Sorts. UWA Owner Frank Hughes came out and said “Enough is enough, I saw what happened, your winner of
the battle royal IS Andre Heart. The no DQ match for January 10th is official.”

Next up is a single match between “So Fine” Frank Stein and Chip Dailey

This match started out with both competitors locking up by choking each other and spilling to the outside where the referee was finally able to break them up. Frank Stein was definitely hated by the crowd and it seemed to show a little bit in the beginning as he was more focused on what the fans had to say instead of his opponent Chip Dailey. Stein was able to gain control for most of the match even with the fans against him. It looked as if Chip Dailey was going to make a comeback with a sunset flip from the apron to the inside but Stein cut that short by sitting down on Dailey and using the ropes for leverage picking up the victory.

Dan O’Myte takes on Wildman Rogers One-on-One

Both Wildman and Dan O’Myte showed good technical wrestling skills before Wildman was able to get to the ropes for a 5-count break. Wildman told the referee that Dan O’Myte pulled his hair however the referee didn’t see it. Dan O’Myte went right back to some more sound technical wrestling before once again Wilman was able to get into the ropes forcing the referee to call for a break. Wildman kept the referee busy by using the ropes to choke Dan O’Myte on several occasions. Dan O’Myte hit an inverted atomicrophone drop on Wildman sending him into the corner where he layed his chain. Wildman wrapped it around his hand and blatantly got disqualified by hitting Dan O’Myte in the face with the chain in front of the referee. After the match the referee made the mistake of getting in Wildman’s face and telling him about the chain once too often as Wildman hit the referee in the face with the chain as well. This forced a member of UWA security to enter the ring and get in Wildman’s face. As security turned to check on Dan O’Myte, Wildman hit him in the back. Not long afterwards
GP Code hit the ring and chased Wildman out.

UWA Owner Frank Hughes came out to address Wildman’s action with the steel chain and to call out the security person that Wildman attack. Robbie came out to hear Frank Hughes announce that with the help of Ken Cross he will get a shot a Wildman Rogers in the next battle royal coming up January 10th.

Hollywood Jay Williamson and Chico Sauvay vs. GP Code

GP Code outmatched and out powered Hollywood Jay Williamson and Chico Sauvay the entire match. Making a mockery out of both competitors by wearing there big straw hat and pinning them. GP Code hit a beautiful double team move on Hollywood Jay Williamson for the pin fall victory.

GP Code definitely had a reason to celebrate after the match. Andre Heart so far is undefeated in the UWA; and on January 10th he will get his chance to get revenge on Jason Kimera. Rumor has it that DeJa Vu has requested a one-on-one contest against Ben Kimera however that match is yet to be official. Check back right here at www.UWAwrestling.com for more information as it becomes available.
