At the end of his match Saturday night against Dirk Extreme, it was announced that was indeed Tank Runyon’s last match. Tank is following doctor’s orders to leave the ring permanently due to severe neck problems stemming from years of wear and tear in the ring. Tank couldn’t leave though without giving the fans one last match.

Whether he was loved or hated, fans always took notice to Tank Runyon as he knows how to control the crowd like few others do. Tank has been involved in some of the most memorable feuds and matches in RCW history. His locker room leadership and professional morale has been unparalleled. Tank promises that he will stick around in some fashion because quite frankly it just wouldn’t be the same without him.

We hope to have video up of Tank’s speech from Otway later in the week. THANK YOU, TANK!

Editor’s Note: On a personal level, Saturday nights show was quite possibly one of the saddest moments in my career. Those of you that know me, know that Tank Runyon and I have been up and down the road together for almost 10 years, and you know that at no time in my career have I ever been better than the times when I managed Tank. He was the first guy that I managed that actually took me “on the road” with him, always made sure that I got some nice spots in his matches, and that I was taken care of. I can’t even begin to tell you how much that meant to me, or how much I learned about the business because of Tank.

Above all else though, Tank has always been there for me as a true friend, and for that I will repeat what everyone said Saturday night, and what they will continue to say for years to come…THANK YOU, TANK!

Revolutionary Championship Wrestling’s “New Blood” is now in the history books. A surprise retirement, new alliances, and some new faces were reasons to be in Otway last Saturday night. But just in case you weren’t there, here are the results from New Blood…

The night began with RCW Commissioner, The Mastermind explaining why he ditched The Gods in favor of the NEW RCW World Tagteam Champions, IOU. Mastermind said that he was beginning to see cracks in the armor of the Gods while Ace and Onyx are hungry and willing to listen to “The Manager of Champions”.

IOU (Ace Gigolo and “The Black Superman” Onyx) defeated the team of Nikki Tyler and Chad Cruise. Cruise and Tyler put up a great fight but the new champions showed surprisingly great teamwork not to mention a pair of brass knuckles slipped in by The Commissioner himself.

“Bad News” Keith Hamblin attacked Nikki Tyler after the match due to Tyler tricking him at Spring Awakening. Hamblin wanted to face Tyler but he got the returning El Nino instead. Hamblin made short work of the inhebriated El Nino but was caught off guard after the match by Tyler. Looks like these two still have some unfinished business.

JD Santos defeated Randy “The King” Allen via Countout after the King had enough and once again to the easy way out. The match was a great back and forth battle but once it got too hot in the kitchen….Allen retreated rather than accept the possibility of losing.

Tank Runyon and Exotic E interrupted Santos’s celebration and almost came to blows with the popular star. Santos was ordered to the back by the Mastermind. “American Idol” Dirk Extreme stormed to the ring and sung Radiohead’s “Creep” and directed it toward Runyon. Runyon and E cut the song off by putting the Leather Straps to Extreme who fought back and cleared the ring.

“Genuine” Jock Samson had an impressive debut against The Mystique Ninja. The Mystique Ninja was also making his debut but did not fair too well. Jock Samson came out on top and earned seemingly earns a spot on the RCW Roster.

Tyson Rogers returned to the ring and battled Flash Fury. Flash Fury took it to the big man and many think had him beat. Rogers on the other hand had a trick up his sleeve. Exotic E and Tank Runyon made their way to the ring and gave Rogers a roll of quarters which Tyson used to knock Flash into next week. Tyson Rogers picks up the win and appears to be with Exotic E & Co.

“American Idol” Dirk Extreme and Tank Runyon took it to one another in a Lumberjack Strap Match. Tank came to the ring dressed in many layers of clothing to absorb the straps. Eventually those layers were ripped from Runyon. Both men were ejected several times resulting in lashings from the belts. In the end, Rogers entered the ring to help Runyon but ended up costing him the bout as Extreme walked away with the victory.

After the Main Event Dirk Extreme announced that it was Tank’s last match. The two hugged and everyone wished Tank a teary farewell from in-ring competition as Tank gave a speech thanking everyone.

RCW’s “NEW BLOOD” Featuring a LUMBERJACK STRAP MATCH will take place on Saturday, April 11, 2009 at the OLD OTWAY SCHOOL in Otway, OH. Presale tickets are only $8 each and available (BEGINNING TUESDAY MARCH 31st) at Crabtree’s Market in Lucasville and at our Portsmouth locations: Domino’s Pizza, Front Row Video, and Castle Comics. Presale tickets also available here at www.rcwonline.com. Door Tickets are $10 each. Kids 4 and under get in FREE! Here’s some more info about RCW “New Blood”

Fans may be wondering about the title of this event, RCW “NEW BLOOD”. Let’s just say that there will be a few new faces in the house on 4/11 in Otway.

“The American Idol” Dirk Extreme and Tank Runyon had an epic match at Spring Awakening. This time the belt will be defended in a LUMBERJACK STRAP MATCH! The rules of the Lumberjack Strap Match are brutal yet simple. The ring is surrounded by Lumberjacks (Wrestlers). Each Lumberjack has a leather strap or belt. If either Extreme or Runyon is ejected or exits the ring before the match is over then the Lumberjacks whip them with the straps. This match can get ugly in a hurry. There have been only 2 Lumberjack Strap Matches in the 6+ years of RCW so you don’t wanna miss this. Let’s not forget that Tank Runyon is the one who requested this match. What does Runyon and Exotic E have up their sleeve for The American Idol this time? We also have it on authority that 2 straps will be raffled off to two lucky fans to also participate as a Lumberjack in the match as well. Don’t miss this chance!

Randy “The King” Allen was suppose to be facing “Livewire” Chris Smith in a “LOSER WEARS A DRESS MATCH” at New Blood. Unfortunately, Chris Smith suffered a broken foot at Spring Awakening and the match has been put on hold. Smith has requested that his partner in last year’s LETHAL LOTTERY take his place in the match, JD Santos. JD has looked awesome since returning from his career threatening neck injury. He defeated Vance Desmond in an impromptu match in Jackson and then had a spectacular match with Flash Fury. Now Randy “The King” Allen is a completely different person than the one JD though he knew. This could definitely be a match to look out for.

The New RCW World Tag Team Champions, IOU, Ace Gigolo and “The Black Superman” Onyx will be defending the titles for the first time against a new but already popular duo in Nikki Tyler and Chad Cruise. Chad looked great against Vance Desmond in Jackson. Nikki Tyler has held the RCW Tag Titles in the past and thinks he may have found the right partner. They cannot forget about the Mastermind though. Not only is he the manager of the Champions but he is also in control of RCW.

Tyson Rogers made a statement at Spring Awakening at the expense of Flash Fury and JD Santos. Now Rogers will have to put his money where his mouth is as Flash Fury wants to get some revenge. Tyson is returning off a 6 month back injury. Will he show signs of ring rust? Will Flash Fury continue to climb the ranks in RCW?

There will be many other matches featuring the likes of “Bad News” Keith Hamblin, “Genuine” Jock Samson, Heavy Metal, and more! Keep checking www.rcwonline.com for more details.

Here are the results from Revolutionary Championship Wrestling’s Spring Awakening last Saturday March 21st, 2009 in Portsmouth, OH:

RangerBob started the night off by apologizing to the Portsmouth crowd. Tyson admonished him for doing so and then Kenny Young began the show.

The Mastermind came out before the first match began and gave Exotic E and company a pep talk regarding ending the career of Trik Nasty. Vance Desmond defeated Trik Nasty in the first bout to retain the RCW North American Championship. During the bout Exotic E and Tank Runyon interfered on Desmond’s behalf until Dirk Extreme ran Tank Runyon to the back. Match was an excellent wrestling bout but technical wrestling didn’t win out in the end. Exotic E distracted Referee John Reuben with one hammer while Vance used another on the back of Trik Nasty thus getting the win. After the bout they intended to finish the job until Flash Fury came to the rescue. Flash had the hammer and was about to use it on Vance and E when Mastermind returned to ringside and threatened Fury’s career. Desmond and E escaped as Fury helped Nasty to the back.

Next up was Nikki Tyler taking on “Bad News” Keith Hamblin. Hamblin used his power to ground Tyler for most of the bout. It appeared that Tyler injured his neck at one point. With Hamblin in control and maybe with a false since of security, Tyler used survival instincts and rolled Hamblin up out of nowhere for the win in a good bout

Kenny Young brought out Hollie Wood to discuss what happened between Randy Allen and Chris Smith last month in Jackson. Randy Allen quickly interrupted and threw Hollie to the mat hard. Kenny Young stepped in and there seemed there may be an altercation between Young and Allen when Chris Smith hit the ring. Smith and Allen decided to begin their match right then. “Livewire” Chris Smith defeated Randy “The King” Allen via countout when Allen decided to walk out on the match. Was Allen frustrated or playing mind games with his former partner? Smith then challenged Randy Allen to a “Loser Wears a Dress Match” in Otway. Catch was that the loser has to wear a dress in RCW for the rest of their career. Allen accepted. Although now we have word that Chris Smith suffered a broken foot in the bout, we will have to wait and see where this goes.

The Mastermind announced the RCW World Tagteam Title Match as he manages both teams. IOU (Ace Gigolo & “The Black Superman” Onyx) became the new RCW World Tagteam Champions after The Mastermind double crossed The Gods (Judas Thorn & The Juggulator). Mind played middle ground for most of the bout. The crowd seemed to rally behind The Gods. Onyx and Ace worked over the neck of Judas Thorn. Referee Steve Hephenstein was knocked cold. Mastermind interfered at the end costing The Gods the titles and then the unthinkable happened. The Gods were put out. Juggulator had to be helped to the back by referees which left Judas Thorn and his injured neck in the hands of Ace and Onyx. They pummeled Thorn’s neck with chair after chair before leaving. Mastermind stated that IOU was the future and that he had seen cracks in the armor of the Gods. It was time for him to follow the rightful champions. Thorn had to be helped to the back.

Next up was the #1 Contendership for the RCW North American Title Matchup. JD Santos and Flash Fury had a great aerial and technical match. At one point the bottom rope broke on the ring as JD went for his springboard moonsault. Both men showed tremendous heart and class as they each admired the others tenacity. In the end both men went for a double cross-body and collided in mid-air. Suddenly with both men down, Tyson Rogers arose from the announcing table and entered the ring giving Flash Fury a clothesline from hell and Santos a Samoan Drop. Tyson stated that he too was coming back from injury but all people cared about was JD Santos and Flash Fury. Tyson was there to make a statement and he did. Match was ruled a NO CONTEST.

The Main Event for the RCW WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT TITLE was last on card. “American Idol” Dirk Extreme was mid-song in “My Generation” when Tank Runyon clobbered him from behind. around 8 minutes into the match Tank Runyon was DQ’d by Referee John Reuben for using a low-blow. RCW Commissioner, The Mastermind announced from the stage that since Exotic E put Trik out tonight he would reward Tank by continuing the match under NO DQ rules. Match restarted and now Desmond and Exotic E were free to take shots at Extreme as well. The battle went all over the Elk’s City Lodge. The battle re-entered the ring where Vance Desmond accidentally popped Tank Runyon with the hammer allowing Dirk to hit the MIC CHECK on both men thus getting a pin on Runyon. After the match Tank Runyon challenged Dirk Extreme to a LumberJack Strap Match in Otway on 4/11. American Idol accepted.

RCW Returns to Portsmouth, OH on 3/21/09

Revolutionary Championship Wrestling returns to the Portsmouth Elk’s City Lodge on Saturday, March 21, 2009 in Portsmouth, OH for Spring Awakening. March 21st is the 2nd day of Spring and what a better way to kick it off than with RCW. Tickets are only $8.00 Presale and $10.00 at the door. Kids 4 and under get in FREE! Tickets available NOW at Castle Comics, Front Row Video, Domino’s Pizza, or at www.rcwonline.com. This card is stacked to say the least!

RCW World Heavyweight Champion “American Idol” Dirk Extreme will be defending his title against the now hated former champion, Tank Runyon. Runyon will of course have Exotic E in his corner and we all know that Vance Desmond is lurking in the background somewhere as well. This will be the first time that these two have met in a regular match-up in an RCW ring. Will Runyon regain his championship or will Extreme continue on as RCW World Heavyweight Champion?

If you attended RCW: Physical Distortion ’09 in Jackson, then you will never forget the blow-up between The Unholy Alliance. Ace Gigolo & Onyx beat Chris Smith & Randy Allen for the #1 Contendership for the RCW World Tag-Team Championships currently held by The Gods. Gigolo and Onyx also stuck their noses into the Gods matches that night possibly changing the outcomes. The Mastermind is stuck in the middle as he is the manager of both teams. Mastermind has said that he will “let the 2 battle it out and in the end may the better team reign.” Mind also stated that he fully expects the Alliance to be stronger after this match-up. Thorn and Onyx in the same ring on opposing teams?!? You don’t wanna miss that!

The Legacy is no more. Randy “The King” Allen, after so many years of being on the side of the fans, turned his back on not only those fans but his partner “Livewire” Chris Smith. Smith and Allen fought through so many problems throughout 2008 that everyone thought they had buried the hatchet. Allen not only turned his back on Smith but gave him a vicious beating in the process. Allen also threw his former manager Hollie Wood to the ground. This match has a lot of bad blood to say the least.

The Mastermind’s vendetta against Trik Nasty continues. With the Commissioner’s assets being wrapped up in the Tag-Team Championship Match, The Mastermind had to look elsewhere. Mastermind has paid Exotic E for the services of the RCW North American Champion, Vance Desmond. One would think that JD Santos would get a match against the Champion considering he beat him in the center of the ring in Jackson. Mastermind though has other plans as he is banking on Desmond ending the career of Trik Nasty.

Speaking of the RCW North American Championship…The Mastermind has decided to make friends and fan favorites JD Santos and Flash Fury fight for the right to face Vance Desmond. Flash Fury just fell short of capturing Desmond’s belt back at Full Circle VI and we all know what happened with JD last month as he pinned Desmond’s shoulders to the mat. This could very well be match of the night as these two possess exciting ring styles.

Keith Hamblin says that he has some bad news for Nikki Tyler. He says Tyler’s win at RCW: Physical Distortion ’09 was a fluke. He has challenged Nikki Tyler to a rematch and folks we are here to tell you that Nikki Tyler has indeed agreed to the rematch. It should be interesting to find out what exactly Hamblin has in store for Tyler this time around.

Don’t miss RCW on March 21, 2009 at the Portsmouth Elk’s City Lodge! Keep checking www.rcwonline.com and right here at Wrestle Ohio for more details!

RCW’s Physical Distortion ’09 has now come and gone and Jackson will never be the same again. RCW fans turned out in droves as the Jackson Memorial Building was packed last Saturday to witness one of the best RCW shows in History! A return, betrayals, and dysfunctional families made PD09 a show that many will not soon forget. If you weren’t there, you missed one helluva show….

The show kicked off with the WWWWWorld Famous RCW Ring Announcer, Kenny Young bringing RangerBob and Tyson Rogers to ringside for DVD commentating. Rangerbob had something to say though as he entered the ring instead. RangerBob talked about how he has made mistakes that he regrets. RangerBob said he was sickened at the things that Vance Desmond done to his good friend Mike “Loony” Horton. He was sorry for turning his back on his country and friends. He was sorry for turning his back on the fans of RCW. Tyson didn’t seem to agree with RangerBob and only time will tell whether the fans will forgive RangerBob if indeed these apologies are genuine.

Tank Runyon battled Flash Fury in the opening bout. Vance Desmond was caught interfering early on and was ceremoniously sent to the back by Referee John Reuben. The match continued as it looked like Flash was about to win with a frogsplash when Desmond returned, entering the ring with Exotic E to stop the pin thus causing a DQ. Flash Fury defeated Tank Runyon via DQ. The 3 worked Fury over until “American Idol” Dirk Extreme, Trik Nasty, “Livewire” Chris Smith, and Randy “The King” Allen ran into the ring to stop the assault. Tank Runyon said he deserved his rematch for HIS RCW World Title with Dirk Extreme tonight. Dirk challenged Tank to a match now. The Mastermind along with The Gods, Judas Thorn & The Juggulator, and IOU, Ace Gigolo & “The Black Superman” Onyx entered into the fray. Mastermind told Tank he would have his rematch next month in Portsmouth at “Spring Awakening” on 3/21 but it would be with Judas Thorn as he would be Champion after the night was through, he promised. Mastermind still carrying a mysterious bag that he claims holds something that lets him have control over RCW President/Owner, The Phoenix. Mastermind also said that Juggulator would end Trik Nasty’s career tonight which Juggulator seemed to be against. Legacy and IOU were sent to the back to get ready for their match as Dirk said he found a MP3 Player in the back that said “Property of Juggulator” He said he would sing the first song on the player which turned out to be “Every Rose Has It’s Thorn” or as we would soon learn “Every Juggalo Has His Judas Thorn”. Thorn was irate.

IOU (Gigolo & Onyx) battled The Legacy (Allen & Smith) for the #1 Contendership to the Tagteam Titles currently held by The Gods (Thorn & Juggulator). The Legacy took it to IOU early but soon IOU took over with the under handed tactics The Mastermind’s minions are known for. In the end IOU came out on top over Smith and a dejected Randy Allen. IOU were now #1 Contenders and will be facing their own faction members The Gods in Portsmouth on 3/21. After the match Allen and Smith hugged when Allen suddenly snatched Smith into a belly-to-belly suplex. The Legacy’s manager Hollie Wood tried to restrain Allen but he shoved her to the ground and then dropped Referee Steve Helphenstein. He then dropped 2 elbows from the top onto Smith. Allen then placed Smith into a figure-4 and refused to break it. Randy “The King” Allen left his former partner and manager lying in the ring as he told the fans what he really thought on his way out the building. A shocking moment in RCW history to say the least.

Chad Cruise re-debuted in RCW and had a grand opportunity in front of him as he was thrown into a NORTH AMERICAN TITLE MATCH against Vance Desmond. Before the match even started Tank Runyon was ejected from ringside because of his actions earlier with his stablemates Desmond & E. Exotic E was still a factor at ringside though, but Cruise seemed to deal with the situation pretty well. Cruise really put up a good fight with the crafty Desmond. Desmond once again brought the hammer into play and took out Cruise for the win. After the match he & E wanted to demonstrate what happens when people try to embarrass Vance Desmond. They were about to take Cruise out permanently when familiar music hit and JD Santos appeared. Santos had been out of action for 8 months after a severe neck injury that required surgery. Santos ran the duo out of the ring. Desmond said maybe he should take out Santos now since Santos isn’t 100%. Santos agreed to an impromptu bout.

Desmond attacked Santos early on going after the injured neck. Santos fought back hard and with the crowd behind him he defeated Vance Desmond and was announced the New RCW North American Champion. Exotic E and Desmond argued with Referee John Reuben who then informed Kenny Young that Vance Desmond never signed for a Title Match against JD, therefore JD gets the victory but Desmond still remains RCW North American Champion.

Trik Nasty and The Juggulator had a Hell of a battle. At one time these two were part of a faction of their own called Da Rydas. They have also fought many times but never with the intention of ending the others career. The Mastermind however wanted Juggulator to end Trik Nasty’s career. Onyx and Ace Gigolo got involved and Juggulator backed them off at one point. Trik Nasty showed tremendous heart and came back hard until Mastermind changed the rules of the match saying now it was a NO DQ. Onyx and Ace entered the ring and put the boots to Nasty. Juggulator demanded that The Mastermind send them to the back and let him finish Nasty alone. Mastermind obliged. As Juggulator turned back around Trik Nasty rolled him up for the win. Mastermind was furious at Juggulator. Trik Nasty escaped with a win and not to mention escaped another career ending plot set forth by The Mastermind.

Nikki Tyler defeated “Bad News” Keith Hamblin in a match that really displayed the power of Hamblin and the speed of Nikki Tyler. The fans haven’t forgotten Tyler in his absence and he was welcomed back to Jackson with open arms as the crowd rallied behind him. Keith Hamblin showed his ring smarts that only come from being in the ring for years but made one fatal mistake and Tyler capitalized. Interesting to see where this leads from here.

“American Idol” Dirk Extreme retained the RCW World Heavyweight Title in a hard fought bout against the monster Judas Thorn. Each man through everything at one another with many near pin attempts. In the end, Onyx jumped on the apron to protest a near pin when Judas collided with him allowing Dirk to hit him with a 2nd mic-check for the win. After the bout IOU brawled with The Gods as Mastermind tried to install order to his “family”. Tank Runyon then came out to remind Dirk he would be taking his RCW World Title back on 3/21 in Portsmouth.

RCW: Physical Distortion ’09 will be available on DVD at the 3/21 show in Portsmouth.

RCW: Physical Distortion – Jackson, OH – 2/28/09

RCW’s PHYSICAL DISTORTION ’09 is coming to the Jackson Memorial Building on Saturday, February 28th, 2009. Tickets go on sale for this event this coming Saturday (02/07/09) at Mom’s All American Pizza located on Huron St. in Jackson (GLAD TO HAVE THEM BACK ON BOARD!) and in Portsmouth at Castle Comics, Domino’s Pizza, and Front Row Video. Tickets are $8.00 Presale and $10.00 at the Door while kids 4 and under get in FREE! The Mastermind has put together quite a card for this event and we’re not just saying that fearing for our job.

Newly crowned RCW WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION, “The American Idol” Dirk Extreme will have a hard time keeping that belt against former WORLD and Current WORLD TAG TEAM CHAMPION, Judas Thorn. Idol has never pinned the powerhouse and Mastermind is banking on this GOD member becoming a dual champion. One has to figure that Tank Runyon is not to happy about not receiving an immediate rematch for the title. Mastermind has told rcwonline.com that Runyon will face the winner on March 21st in Portsmouth.

Speaking of Tank Runyon, the bad ATTITUDE may run in the family but the new member of Exotic E’s army has managed to tick off the nicest guy on the entire RCW Roster….Flash Fury. The last time these two met Flash was about to pick up the win until Exotic E stuck his nose in. Now not only do you have E to contend with but Flash’s nemesis Vance Desmond will most likely be on the outside as well. Will Tank go into his rematch in March with a loss to Flash? Only time will tell and that time is 2/28 in Jackson.

The tag team of what is left of IOU, Ace Gigolo and Onyx, have stuck together through thick and thin, which is something considering the snake that everyone knows Ace to be. They will be taking on the former RCW World Tag Team Champions, “Livewire” Chris Smith and Randy “The King” Allen (The ORIGINAL Legacy) in a match to determine the #1 Contender’s to the RCW WORLD TAG TEAM TITLES currently held by the GODS. Allen and Smith had some problems with Hollie Wood back at FC6, no word on the status of Ms. Woods team spirit, but Allen has proclaimed that he and Smith will reign as KINGS of the tag team scene again once they get through The Black Superman and Gigolo. One also has to wonder The Mastermind would corner if IOU were to move on and face The GODS?

The other half of the RCW World Tag Team Champions, The Juggulator has been given the task that other Unholy Alliance members have failed at. EXTERMINATE TRIK NASTY. C.O. Hustler is now retired from an RCW Ring because of Nasty. The team of Onyx and Ace got outsmarted by the Trikster. The Mastermind has reminded us that The Juggulator knows Trik Nasty more than most. The two used travel together and were known along with JD Santos (then Escalade) as Da Rydas. Not to mention, Juggulator has also faced Trik in RCW in numerous tag team encounters. This time it is one on one and all Hell will break loose when these two collide at PHYSICAL DISTORTION ’09.

RCW NORTH AMERICAN CHAMPION, Vance Desmond may have just squeaked by Flash Fury at FC6 but on 2/28 he will have to face an opponent he knows little to nothing about. Chad Cruise is a phenomenal young star that RCW fans have seen once before. Chad made his RCW debut over a year and a half ago in Otway against Matt Taylor. Since then Cruise has been on a tour of Iraq fighting for the country he believes in…The United States of America. Desmond has been riding high with Exotic E and Tank Runyon and may make the mistake of looking over this promising youngster.

“Bad News” Keith Hamblin was able to get past Wes Cannon at FC6. Now the strong man will put his strength up against the agility of Nikki Tyler. Tyler returned to RCW at FC6 and is eager to step back into the ring against anyone at anytime. This bout could be a defining moment for either man. Don’t miss all the action at the Jackson Memorial Building on Saturday, 2/28. Doors open at 6:30pm with a 7:30pm Belltime.

RCW Full Circle 6 is now in the history books. A New RCW World Heavyweight Champion was crowned, A superstar’s career was retired, and a return was made. It was truly a magical night at the Elk’s City Lodge in Portsmouth. RCW would like to thank the fans that braved the weather just to see RCW’s 6th Anniversary Extravaganza.

The night began with RCW’s WWWWWorld Famous Ring Announcer Kenny Young introducing FC6 DVD Commentators RangerBob and Tyson Rogers to their table. The first match of the night would be for the RCW North American Title and Flash Fury would pick “Loony” Mike Horton as the special guest referee.

Vance Desmond defeated Flash Fury to retain the RCW North American Championship after Exotic E and Tank Runyon interfered in the match on Desmond’s behalf. It seems the 3 had been in an alliance for months unbeknownst to anyone else. Loony was knocked cold during the bout. Referee John Reuben came to the ring after Desmond, Runyon, and E had done their damage. Desmond got the win and then the 3 proceeded to beat Flash and Loony. “American Idol” Dirk Extreme ran to the ring and got his hands on Tank. Desmond came from behind. They then proceeded to hit Extreme in the ribs with a hammer. Trik Nasty, Chris Smith, and Randy Allen ran out to stop the assault. Extreme had to be assisted to the back.

“Bad News” Keith Hamblin defeated Wes Cannon. Lots of power and agility displayed by Hamblin who even performed a moonsault from the 2nd rope. Wes Cannon seemed to be off of his gameplan. There were moments when it looked like Cannon may be the victor but the experience paid off for Hamblin.

“The Black Superman” Onyx and Ace Gigolo were surprised when “Big Guns” Jeff Cannon announced his “Mystery Tagteam Partner” as Nikki Tyler. Tyler has been absent from an RCW ring for nearly 9 months. Tyler showed no ring rust and took it to the duo along with Cannon. Gigolo and Onyx had The Mastermind in their corner who seemed to be the difference maker as his cane came into play taking out Cannon and allowing the Unholy Alliance members to pick up the win. They went on to state how they were the greatest team in RCW. Mastermind then had an announcement about the next match…..The Casket/Retirement Match.

“Your Reality” C.O. Hustler could not make it to the show due to the weather. They were still putting his career on the line though in the Casket Match against Trik Nasty. Trik Nasty’s opponent would not be one man. He would have to face Ace Gigolo and Onyx in a handicap match right now. The odds were against Nasty. This match was definitely candidate for Match of Night as Trik Nasty fought hard to save his career. The casket eventually ended up in the ring and was used as a weapon. In the end Nikki Tyler came to the assist of Trik Nasty and distracted Onyx while Nasty was able to put Gigolo in the Casket and get the win thus retiring “Your Reality” C.O Hustler from the professional wrestling.

The RCW World Tagteam Titles were defended in an elimination bout. “The Livewire” Chris Smith was eliminated first and the odds were stacked against The Legacy recapturing the belts from The Gods. Allen was able to roll up The Juggulator to bring the match to a one on one encounter between Randy Allen and Judas Thorn. Allen hit his big elbow from the top but Thorn kicked out and dominated Allen to pin him in the ring and retain the RCW World Tagteam Titles.

“The American Idol” Dirk Extreme pinned Tank Runyon in the middle of the Steel Cage to become a 2x RCW World Heavyweight Champion. The match began with Runyon not letting Extreme into the cage. Dirk would climb the cage causing Runyon to do the same. The battle began at the top. Later in the match Tank would constantly go to the ribs and head of Extreme. After being busted open it seemed Runyon had the bout won but Dirk would not stay down. Desmond and E got involved but Flash Fury did a dive off of the cage thus ejecting them from the match. Both referees Steve Hephenstein and John Reuben were knocked out. “Loony” Mike Horton came to the ring and made the final count to award “The American Idol” the RCW World Heavyweight Championship.

It is once again time for the Revolutionary Championship Wrestling’s Showcase Event of the Year! FULL CIRCLE VI: RCW’s 6th Anniversary Mega-Event comes home to Portsmouth Elk’s City Lodge in Portsmouth, OH on Saturday night, December 6th, 2008. The Elk’s City Lodge is located at 314 4th Street in downtown Portsmouth. This year’s FC6 will not only feature a STEEL CAGE match but also a CASKET match that will spell retirement for one of two individuals. Tickets are available now online here at www.rcwonline.com or at Domino’s Pizza of Portsmouth, Front Row Video of Portsmouth, Castle Comics, and tickets will also be available in Jackson, OH at Krazy Sk8 on 155 Broadway. LIMITED FIRST ROW RINGSIDE SEATING will also be available for this event. FIRST ROW SEATING: $15; General Admission: $10 Presale or $12 at the Door; Kids 4 and under get in free (Not including First Row Seating).

The Main Event at Full Circle 6 was up in the air until Tank Runyon recaptured the RCW World Title at Uncivil War. “American Idol” Dirk Extreme had earned the right to fight against the champion in a match of his choice after winning the Injection 6 Rumble. Going into the cage at Uncivil War it looked as if 2 friends would be facing each other come December. Tank Runyon decided to turn his back on not only “The American Idol” but the fans of RCW as well. Runyon decimated Extreme inside the Steel Cage during that night in Jackson, OH which prompted Dirk to choose the match against Tank at FC6 to take place inside the unforgiving steel. Most great feuds end in a match of this brutality. This one will actually begin in one as this will be the first time the two have ever faced each other in a one-on-one encounter in an RCW ring and it happens on 12/6/08 inside a STEEL CAGE! This cage match will be different from past Cage Matches in RCW History. A referee will be placed in the ring and on the outside of the ring. Therefore you can win by escaping the cage or via pinfall or submission. Tank Runyon has also recently acquired the services of Exotic E. E always plays a factor into any match he is involved in.

Trik Nasty was unwillfully ejected from the cage at Uncivil War by someone who was not even in the match. “Your Reality” C.O. Hustler still blames Trik Nasty for the demise of one of the most powerful groups in RCW history, IOU. Hustler even orchestrated a brutal beatdown on Nasty just a couple weeks ago in Otway at the hands of Ace Gigolo and Onyx. Trik Nasty issued a challenge to Hustler that basically said that one of them had to go. A Retirement Match! C.O. Hustler agreed , afterall he does have the support of RCW current Commissioner, The Mastermind and the entire Unholy Alliance. Mastermind wanted to make a point though so he ordered this RETIREMENT to take place in the most permanent fashion. The loser will be leaving in a CASKET. The Retirement will be determined in a CASKET MATCH! Trik Nasty or C.O. Hustler will have to place their opponent inside a Casket and close the lid to forever rid themselves of their nemesis. Dark Indeed!

At the top of RCW’s Most Wanted List is none other than the reigning RCW North American Champion, Vance Desmond. Desmond has not only disgusted the fans and wrestlers by taking out former Commissioner Mike “Loony” Horton with a hammer but he has cheated his way into becoming the first ever North American Champion. Flash Fury on the other hand has earned the respect of the fans over the years here in RCW. Flash Fury and Vance Desmond have went toe to toe in previous months and Desmond either plays dirty or gets away with murder. After winning the Battle Royal in Otway, Flash Fury gets to handpick the referee for this bout at FC6. Rumors are floating that he has searched the Loony-Bin for the right man. He refuses to make an announcement until the match begins on 12/6 at the Elk’s City Lodge.

The RCW World Tagteam Titles will be defended in a unique FIRST TIME stipulation match! Champions, The Gods (Judas Thorn & Juggulator) will put the belts on the line in a Elimination Tagteam Match against the former champions, The Legacy (Chris Smith & Randy Allen). Allen and Smith had 5 month run with the titles but the Gods said they proved who the dominant team was last month in Otway. A lot of bad blood and hatred has fueled this match and now we will truly see who the better team is as both members of a team must be pinned. Once one member is pinned he is out of the match. The Legacy seems to be having problems with manager Hollie Wood as she appeared to have walked out on them in Otway. The Mastermind on the other hand is solidly behind his TagTeam Champions.

Wes Cannon and “Bad News” Keith Hamblin have had two battles that stretched from Jackson to Otway. Commissioner, The Mastermind has decided to let the two end their score on the grandest stage in RCW. FC6 will host their final battle. Who will come out on top and ring the New Year in with a bang. Hamblin has the knowledge and skill. Cannon has the young heart and desire. We will see who prevails this Saturday, December 6th.

IOU now Unholy Alliance member “The Black Superman” Onyx and Ace Gigolo are wanting to prove their tagteam skills at FC6. They have laid an open challenge. One man has already accepted that challenge. “Big Guns” Jeff Cannon who is undefeated in RCW will step back into an RCW ring and says he has a Mystery Partner that will shock RCW fans as well as Onyx and Gigolo. FC6 is full of surprises so we are anxiously awaiting to see who Cannon’s partner is this Saturday at The Elk’s. Get you tickets now and don’t miss the show that people will talking about for years to come….FULL CIRCLE VI!
