RCW Fans are still talking about last Saturday’s PHYSICAL DISTORTION event at the Plumbers & Pipe Fitters in Portsmouth. VANCE DESMOND has RETURNED to RCW but not in the role of the that everyone may think. Desmond actually saved Judas Thorn and fought off the likes of Projekt Ego. Lots of great action at PD’11. For a special look at PD’11 check out the pics on Facebook. Here’s what went down:

RCW PHYSICAL DISTORTION RESULTS

RCW WWWWWWORLD Famous Kenny Young and RangerBob were at Ringside as we got the first match underway…….

Maxx Power took on Flash Fury in the opening bout. Power was accompanied to the ring by WRESTLEOHIO’s Mastermind, Sara, and Nikita Allanov. Power didn’t see Fury as a threat and sent Allanov to the back. During the bout Power had a chair and was about to use it on Fury. Fury ended up drop-kicking the chair into the face of Power, busting him open in the process. Flash Fury got win.

Randy “The King” Allen defended the RCW North American Title against Trik Nasty. Nasty was escorted to the ring by “American Idol” Dirk Extreme who is still in control of Nasty’s contract. Extreme humiliated Nasty before the match. The battle went back and forth between Allen and Nasty. In the end Nasty was on top but due to Extreme’s interference Allen was able to roll Nasty up to retain. After the match Tank Runyon came to the ring and took out Extreme and Allen. They exchanged words for Extreme and Tank’s match later.

The RCW World Tagteam Champions, Pretty in Pink had to defend against former champions Metal Mayhem, Keith Hamblin and Heavy Metal. It first appeared that Hamblin was not going to be there once again but after several minutes of PIP beating down Heavy Metal, Hamblin appeared. It appears that Pretty in Pink had Hamblin subdued in the back. Once Hamblin was back out there Metal Mayhem nearly recaptured the belts but the damage had been done. Pretty in Pink kept their Tagteam Titles. Heavy Metal has sustained a cracked rib as a result of the match.

Projekt Ego (Juggulator, Exotic E, Ron Mathis, & Devon Maximus interrupted Loony and The Pipe Fitter own Kenny Bailey. Ego didn’t think it was fair that Juggulator’s Title was on the line in the 6-man match later. Judas Thorn & The Black Irish Saints (DDK & Devlin Anderson) stormed the ring. They ejected Ego from the ring and stated that Juggulator would be losing his belt of one of them tonight.

El Nino returned and performed Zumba in the ring with Stacey Cunningham who was promoting her new Zumba classes in Portsmouth.

Nikita Allov and WrestleOhio had an open challenge to take on anyone inside or outside of RCW. ECLIPSO, a masked wrestler is popular throughout the Ohio Valley made his way into RCW for the first time. Eclipso put up a great fight but in the end it was Allanov who was victorious.

Tank Runyon beat “American Idol” Dirk Extreme all over the Pipe Fitters Building. During the match Extreme worked over the neck of Runyon. The neck that put him out of action 2 years ago. A classic battle that saw Runyon get the win after the Black Hole Slam. After the match though, Extreme attacked Runyon. He and Allen focused on the neck and then made Trik Nasty deliver a neck breaker that put Runyon back on the injury list.

The 6-man for the RCW World Title was next. Elimination Rules applied. Match was great bout that lasted awhile before the first elimination. Devon Maximus went first followed by Ron Mathis. It looked for a moment as if Juggulator’s title was going to a new residence. Adrenaline X helped put out DDK and Devlin Anderson. That left Juggulator and Judas Thorn as the Final 2. With help from Exotic E, Juggulator retained. They tied Thorn up in the ropes. E had another surprise. Joining Projekt Ego would be the RETURN OF “VIOLENT” VANCE DESMOND. Desmond came to the ring with his trademark hammer. Desmond looked at Thorn but instead hit Juggulator with the hammer. Adrenaline X hit the ring only to be put out by Desmond who also gave Maximus the Canadian Destroyer. Juggulator was busted open, Exotic E livid, and the fans ecstatic> RCW Returns to Jackson on May 7th with ROAD TO INJECTION.

The night started with a gloating Patrick Black in the ring. He detailed that, despite the efforts of “other WWC Executive Committee members”, he retained his position as President while also now managing the Brotherhood team of Marvel Trice and Princeton Travis. He declared that the Brotherhood’s rise had just begun, with their next goal being the domination of the WWC Tag Team division. To that end, Patrick Black challenged the Solar Powers to a match for the WWC Tag Team Titles. This prompted The Solar Powers manager, Will Profit, to storm the ring with a chair in hand. Once Patrick bailed out, Profit opened the chair, sat down, and refused the challenge. Profit stated that the Brotherhood hadn’t earned a title shot yet, and that Patrick’s cheap tricks weren’t going to get his team to jump the rankings.

As Profit left, WWC Heavyweight Champion Matt Taylor appeared, complaining to Black about his title match later that night against Devlin Anderson. The “Re-Enforcer” himself appeared, explaining that Taylor was afraid of facing Anderson, as Taylor has never beaten his longtime rival. Black decided to “tweak” the match, making it non-title, with Devlin gaining entrance to the Unbreakable tournament in November if he defeated Taylor. Furthermore, Patrick stated that he was placing a referee that he “could trust” into the match, removing Senior Official Steve Helpenstine as the referee for the main event.

Our first match of the evening featured the Brotherhood taking on the team of Dave Nevada and DJ Tom Sharp. Nevada and Sharp worked well together for their first outing, although the underhanded tactics of the Brotherhood allowed them to take home the tainted victory when Travis pinned Sharp while holding onto Sharp’s tights.

The next match had International Incident’s Eddie Gonzales facing off against Malo Pescado. Gonzales came into the match very overconfident, only to get frustrated as Pescado tenaciously kicked out of a devastating array of moves. Angered, Gonzales left the ring to retrieve a chair, but as he went to swing at Pescado… Malo took off their mask! The wrestler everyone thought to be a Louisiana native turned out to be none other than Heather Owens! Stunned by this revelation, Gonzales was swept up in an inside cradle for the surprise win by Malo Pes- er, Heather!

Justin Neal hoped to capitalize on a sneak attack against JT Stahr, but the multiple time former WWC World Heavyweight champion turned back Neal’s assault, walking out with the pin and the win.

DDK appeared next, bringing with him Ozborne, the US Army service member he had attacked at the last show. The newly christened “Oz” let everyone know that he realized that DDK embraced the Army philosophy of attacking from any angle, and that he had begun training under DDK to become a professional wrestler. DDK explained that this was also his next attempt to emulate the career of Ric Byrne by finding undeveloped talent and bringing them under his wing to form a group. “Penthouse Playboy” Jimmy Malloy took offense at this, and ended up in a match against DDK. After Malloy pulled out the win, DDK did something totally unexpected – he praised Malloy, saying that although DDK didn’t like Jimmy, he was perhaps wrong about whether Malloy was ready to challenge for the North American title.

At the halfway point of our evening, “Canadian Terror” Terry Reines addressed the crowd, saying that as far as he was concerned, International Incident was over. Further, he intended to prove that it was Nikita Allanov and Eddie Gonzales’ own flaws that caused them to lose the WWC Tag Team Title to the Solar Powers by picking at random Ultra Mega Masked Homicide to be his tag partner for the evening. We’ll never know exactly how that one would have ended, because at the end of the match, Nikita Allanov pulled Terry off the ring apron as Reines was preparing to accept the tag from Homicide. The Solar Powers looked like they were going to intercede in the conflict, however they were distracted when they halted another potential attack from the Brotherhood, who had been watching the match from ringside.

Afterwards, Nikita took to the microphone and stated that International Incident weren’t “done” – they were just “done with Terry Reines”. Nikita said he also had something to prove, as he was going to take back the North American title that Reines had lost from Aaron Williams. That match proved to be one of the most spectacular of the evening, with Allanov looking like he was going to live up to his promise with the help of interference from his partner, Eddie Gonzales. However, the sudden return of Terry Reines to the ring nullified Gonzales and allowed Aaron to pick up the win and retain his title. Afterwards, Reines presented the title to Williams, stating that he found out that in the first round of November’s Unbreakable tournament, Reines would face Williams again. Williams cautiously accepted Reines extended hand, shaking it and sealing the deal for next month.

“Black Sheep” Bennet Cole had talked a big game in his interviews posted on WWCweb.com… and he backed that up as he took on “Undertaker” Shawn Parks in Parks signature game, the Casket Match! Dressed from head to toe as the Undertaker, Parks fought the larger Cole blow for blow, the two seeming pretty evenly matched and willing to go all out to win. A pivotal turning point in the match came when Parks went for the Tombstone, only to see Cole reverse it into an inverted DDT. The direct impact of Parks’ head to the canvas seemed to snap him out of his “homage” mode, fully reasserting himself as “Superstar” Shawn Parks as he renewed his offensive and finally put the brash youngster away in the casket for the win.

In the main event of the evening, Devlin Anderson announced that he was sure Taylor was going to pull out every dirty trick he knew – so Anderson had pulled one of his own, deciding for one night to secure the services of a manager – none other than the man who helped take Taylor to the top, Violent Bob Humperdink! With Bob keeping the referee honest, Anderson defeated WWC Heavyweight Champion Matt Taylor in a non-title match to secure entry in the Unbreakable tournament in November.

Revolutionary Championship Wrestling invaded the Steam & Pipe Fitters Hall in Portsmouth all in the name of helping the Autism Project of Southern Ohio. RCW is proud to announce that the Project raised $1,313.00 due to the event. What an event it was! Here’s what happened…

Flash Fury successfully defended his North American Title against “Captivating” Corey Mason. Mason looked impressive and almost shocked the crowd by winning but Flash proved why he is the Champ as he retains to defend another day.

The Juggulator interrupted “Loony” Mike Horton. Juggulator said he wanted to prove that he deserved another shot at Judas Thorn’s RCW World Title. Not only would Juggulator team with Extreme tonight and beat Nasty and Thorn but he would also take on another opponent in single’s action. Loony was impressed and agreed. El Nino came to the ring. Juggulator and Nino got into a shoving match and as Loony broke them up, El Nino unmasked to reveal Exotic E under the hood. E and Juggulator attacked Loony. Judas Thorn came to his rescue but then “American Idol” Dirk Extreme was in the ring on Judas. Trik Nasty came out to even the odds. Juggulator had a new manager in Exotic E.

Dude Rock was brought out to join RangerBob on commentary

Chuck Chronic defeated Tyson Rogers. Rogers had many opportunities to pin Chronic but wanted to torture him instead. RangerBob, who use to manage both, left his announcing position and came to ringside. Tyson was distracted long enough for Chuck to get the pin.

RCW World Tag-Team Titles were still on the line even though 1/2 of the Champs, Heavy Metal, was out of action due to back injury that was likely a result of the beatdown given to Metal Mayhem by The Black Irish Saints back in August. Keith Hamblin found a suitable replacement in one JD Santos. DDK and Devlin Anderson looked impressive in their second RCW match and nearly captured the gold. BIS attempted to use a baseball bat to win the match but was stopped by Hamblin and Santos. Santos used the bat against Hamblin’s wishes to get the win. Not sure these two will be teaming again but nonetheless, Metal Mayhem remain the Champion.

During intermission Randy Allen came out to give Zach Gowen a few choice words.

Juggulator and “American Idol” Dirk Extreme defeated Trik Nasty & Judas Thorn after Exotic E passed Juggulator a chain to use on Thorn. After the match 2 challenges were made and accepted for Full Circle 8. It would be Judas Thorn defending the RCW World Title against Juggulator in a Dog Collar Match! Also Dirk Extreme would face Trik Nasty….if Dirk wins then Nasty has to be Dirk’s “Roadie” for 6 months…..if Dirk loses then Nasty gets to shave Dirk’s head!

“The Black Superman” Onyx was looking good against Wrestle Ohio’s Nikita Allanov until Special Guest Referee, Max Power, showed his true colors and helped Allanov dispose of Onyx. Power now joins Allanov, The Mastermind, and Sara in Wrestle Ohio.

Former WWE/TNA 1-legged Superstar, Zach Gowen took on Randy “The King” Allen. Allen went after Gowen’s leg as expected. Gowen fought through and was able to get the win against “The King” in an exciting bout that had the crowd on the edge of their seat.

RCW would like to thank everyone that came out to support this great cause!

The Rev reviews MCW: September to Remember II on September 18, 2010 from The MCW Wrestleplex in Alliance, OH.

Greetings one and all — no, you aren’t seeing things, it’s me, your friendly neighbor Reverend Rogue Six, temporarily on leave from medical treatments and here with your “September to Remember” wrap-up!

This night will be one for the history books, and if you weren’t there, well, I’m sad for you, because you missed a landmark night in MCW’s history…the final match of “The Rainbow Warrior” Justin Diaz’s career.

Big Hurt defeated Nikki Skidz (who’s looking more like Johnny Napalm from the GUITAR HERO video games) in the opening match after an inverted suplex. Nikki put up as best an offense as he could, but it simply wasn’t enough; he seemed to have spent more time on his back then the staff of the Bunny Ranch, but I really have to give credit where it’s due — damn if he didn’t keep on fighting Hurt till the end.

So, for you, Nikki, I award you my Tom Petty “I Won’t Back Down” Award. No matter the match, you simply keep on fighting, and I can respect that.

Mike Hercum, MCW’s Elite Champion, sauntered out to the ring; evidently he had something on his mind that he wanted to talk about. But the crowd, in its infinite wisdom, didn’t seem all that interested; no sooner did he get near the ring then the traditional “SHUT THE F–K UP” chant started. I’ve got to be honest, I really couldn’t make out what Hercum had to say over the crowd’s chants and boos, so it probably wasn’t all that important. (Just as well, I wasn’t really all that interested either…)

Wilbur Whitlock defeated newcomer Bill Martel in a well-paced, straight-on match. Both started off with an excellent bout of chain wrestling, testing each other out, then the pace picked up. Martel made what I’d call one rookie mistake when he went to the top turnbuckle — but telegraphed the move enough that when he came off for a flying elbow, he ended up eating Wilbur’s boot instead! Wilbur went for the Whitlock Cutter once, but Martel had the presence of mind to block it and power out, but Wilbur went for the cutter a second time and nailed him with it for the pinfall. No sooner had Wilbur’s hand been raised by the ref then out to the ring came — Big Hurt? WTH? He proceeded to attack both Martel and Wilbur, and then left the ring, still yelling and arguing with the crowd like he did in his own match. I’m not al that sure just what his fragging problem is, but I think if Big Hurt would concentrate as much on wrestling as he does yelling at people in the crowd, who knows where he’d be?

Commissioner Shasta came out to the ring to the cheers of the crowd. He started off by saying that he was quite happy with the turnout, and that he had a little business to take care up, business concerning both Supa Lucha and Krazy, who he called to the ring. He apologized to both of them, saying that while he thought they needed to turn things up a notch, two weeks ago, they both “damn near killed each other” and that the two of them “rocked the place”.

Before Shasta could say much more, out to the ring came Chris Kole and Shane Sensation — a.k.a. the tag team Killer Sensation — who somehow seemed to have felt the need to ruin the mood. Shane took the mic and began talking smack about Krazy and Lucha.

I’d like to tell you what Shane said, but I swear to you — he ranted so fast that I couldn’t make out a single word; it was nothing but a stream of garble. Shasta seemed to share my opinion, and said so: “Damn, Shane, all these folks heard you say was ‘blah, blah, blah’…”

Chris Kole took the mic and asked Shasta, “Who was it that originally tore this house down?” Shasta’s answer — “Shasta…and Brain Damage! We just used your bodies to do it with!” Then he had a idea. “Since you’re here, and the two of them are here –” he turned to Lucha and Krazy, “You two fought each other two weeks ago, why don’t you two fight them?”

Shane and Chris seemed to want no part of this, and started to walk away — but not before Lucha and Krazy had ascended the turnbuckles and took to the air! The fight was on!

Killer Sensation worked Lucha over for a good deal of the match, not only keeping him grounded but away from Krazy. The strategy didn’t last long, as Krazy got a hot tag and went after both men with a vengeance. Lucha came back in, and went for the Burrito Driver — but the damage had been done, and he couldn’t pull it off. Shane hit a top rope splash for the win. (Personally, I’m looking forward to a Killer Sensation/Mentally Unstable match somewhere in the future…now that would be a party…)

The war between Allison Kay and Jessicka Havok continued tonight in a 2 out of 3 falls/No DQ/Falls Count Anywhere match that saw Jessicka ambush Allison before either of them got in the ring! Jessicka kept up a steady stream of offense, but out of nowhere, Allison hit a Killswitch and scored the first fall!

Jessicka was a little slow to rise and move, but within what seemed a matter of seconds, she hit Allison with an STO and scored the second fall! I have to say, I’ve seen plenty of 2/3 Falls matches, but in all my time, I’ve never — and I mean NEVER — seen the first two falls scored that bloody fast!

The action went out of the ring, where Allison missed with a handful of powder, Jessicka worked Allison over with a belt (and then Allison returned the favor), Allison whipped Jessicka into a cement wall and a pole, and then bulldogged her on the ring steps (yeah, there’s Excedrin headache #175) before the match got back in the ring.

Despite all that, Jessicka managed to catch Allison in a textbook crippler crossface for the tapout — and final fall — to win the match!

And here’s where it got ugly.

Allison went out of the ring and got a chair, snuck back in the ring, and blasted Jessicka in the back with it.

Then she trapped Jessicka’s arm in it and proceeded to come off the ropes onto the chair not once or twice — but FOUR TIMES. Jessicka’s screams told the story.

Shasta and the security staff came to her aid and got her to the back.

This might have been the last time we’ll see Allison Kay in an MCW ring. Then again, when Jessicka heals up, who knows? Someone’s going to be looking for some payback…

Lusicious Larry Lavender faced off against MCW Elite Champion Mike Hercum in a championship title match that saw the champion have a bit of a rough time dealing with his challenger at the start. Hercum managed to slow Larry down with a crotch shot on the turn post and even getting him in a Steiner Recliner, but when Larry managed to get loose a second time and Hercum went to jump on his back, Larry turned over — and Hercum got a knee to the groin instead!

Mike went for the sharpshooter, only to have Larry roll him up in a small package that he kicked out of. Then Mike tried the sharpshooter once again — Larry rolled him up again, but this time went a little farther with the roll. . .and WE NOW HAVE A NEW MCW ELITE CHAMPION: “LUSCIOUS” LARRY LAVENDER!

Eric Ryan faced off with the MCW Heavyweight Champion, Christian “Don’t Call Me Goku” Vaughn in a match that started off with Minka Murder coming to the ring to announce Goku’s — I mean, Vaughn’s — arrival (I’m not saying Minka’s voice is high-pitched, but one of the lenses in my glasses slightly cracked when she spoke…). And then out came the champ — whose hair looked like it was sprayed with Viagra.

Eric went on the attack early and pretty much gave Vaughn all he could handle throughout the match — even hitting what I’m going to call the Move of the Night: a running Death Valley Driver into the ringpost!

Just as things looked good for the challenger, Minka distracted the ref while Vaughn got the belt and missed Eric’s head with it. Eric seized the opening and DDT’d the champ on the belt! Of course, the ref picked that moment to turn around and see that — and not make the count.

Eric went up to the top turnbuckle — but he either tripped or Minka knocked him off-balance (thanks to the guy who walked in front of me at that precise moment, I couldn’t tell!), giving Vaughn the opening to set him for a piledriver and the win.

Things slowed down for a few moments while the ring was prepared for the Main Event — a XXXTREME rules Tables, Ladders, and Chairs match between Jebediah and Justin Diaz. (Talk about picking a match to go out on…) Jebediah and Dr. Dale Pierce came out first, then as “It’s Raining Men” began to play, the entire house came to their feet as Dick Jeremy led Justin Diaz, resplendent in his pink-n-black robe, to the ring.

You may have watched TLC matches on WWE pay-per-views or DVDs, but believe me when I tell you, it’s nothing compared to witnessing one as it happens. The chairs and ladders came into play early, and got used in many innovative ways. Then came the chant of “WE WANT TABLES” from the crowd, and in came the tables.

Jebediah was the first to start bleeding, and I have to say, I was waiting for Dick Jeremy to pass out from hyperventilating. . .

The end looked imminent when Diaz and Jeremy brought a second table in the ring (Diaz had gone through the first one), then Diaz set up a ladder and laid a semi-conscious Jebediah on it. Justin climbed the ladder, and signaled for an elbow drop. Jebediah, in the meantime, got off the table and climbed up the other side of the ladder; the two began trading blows until Diaz slammed Jebediah’s head on the ladder top and hit what I’m calling the “OH MY GOD” Move of the Night — a sunset-flip power bomb off the ladder and through the table!

It was hard to tell who’d gotten the worst of that move — but Jebediah had enough left in him to get up and hit a Haybaler on Diaz for the win!

Now, normally, this would be the end of the show, and I’d be signing off. But like I said in the beginning, this was a historical night, and there was something special planned for the finale…

As the wreckage was being cleared, the entire locker room came to the ring as the crowd (myself included) came to their feet in a standing ovation.

Shasta took the mic: “Normally I scream and yell for you all to get off your asses and cheer, but tonight I’m going to ask you to — Justin Diaz has been a part of MCW for 10 years, so put your hands together for him!” A “THANK YOU DIAZ” chant went up.

Shasta present Diaz with 2 gifts — one was an autographed picture of him in the early days, signed by every fan they could get, while the second gift was a commemorative plaque with the autographs of every MCW wrestler.

The Big-Ass Screen lit up with a video message from Shasta that contained well-wishes from Toby Klein and Brain Damage (who couldn’t be there due to scheduling commitments), and a message from Shasta himself: “No matter what, you’ll always be MCW”.

“It’s Raining Men” began to play, and a montage of Diaz’s matches ran on the screen. When this was over, a final message of THANK YOU DIAZ came up on the screen.

I’ve tried to capture the feeling of the evening, but even I can only do so much. This was one of those nights that you truly had to be there to appreciate the level of emotion that was running in the Wrestleplex.

On a final note, let me say this to Justin Diaz: You took a chance on an unknown rogue like me, and gave me a break into writing for professional wrestling. You didn’t know me from Adam, and yet you gave me space on MCW’s forum to entertain everyone, as well as chronicle the shows in my own way. For this, you have my everlasting respect and my thanks. Good luck.

And that’s the Gospel, according to the Reverend Rogue Six.

Stay extreme, my friends!

The following matches were taped before RAW tonight and will air on this week’s edition of WWE Superstars.

Ezekiel Jackson beat Zack Ryder in a Dark Match.

The Great Khali defeated Primo, with his NXT Rookie Diva, A.J.

Vladimir Kozlov and Santino Marella defeated The Uso Brothers. Funny skit with Santino & Tamina that probably won’t air on TV.

From there, RAW begins. Here’s what went down.

Tonight’s season premiere edition of WWE’s Monday Night RAW opens with John Cena and Randy Orton backstage. The RAW Roulette wheel is behind them and up walks Josh Matthews, who welcomes us to RAW. He says every match tonight will be decided by the wheel, including Cena vs. Orton. Josh shows some of the options on the wheel. Eve comes in to spin the wheel and it lands on a Tables Match. It will be Cena vs. Orton tonight in a Tables Match. Orton just looks at Cena and walks off. Matthews reminds Cena the last time he was in a match like this, he lost the WWE Title to Sheamus. Cena says it’s a new season of RAW tonight and cuts a promo on the main event. Cena says he’s feeling lucky tonight, spins the wheel and walks off. We go to the RAW opening video.

We’re live from the US Bank Arena in Cincinnati as Michael Cole hypes tonight’s show. We see a steel cage hanging above the ring in case it’s chosen on the Roulette wheel. Jerry Lawler hypes the main event and we go to the ring. Justin Roberts introduces Cincinnati Bengals star Chad Ochocinco and he comes out to a big pop.

Chad takes the mic and gets another big pop. He welcomes everyone to the season premiere of RAW. He says there has never been a guest star as handsome as he. Chad is interrupted by WWE’s United States Champion The Miz. From one Ohioan to another, Miz welcomes Chad to RAW. Miz says he can relate to Chad but the crowd is booing him some. Miz says he just realized they have nothing in common because he is a Champion. Miz says Chad will never experience a Championship because he plays for Cincinnati. Chad puts over his team the Bengals and baseball’s Cincinnati Reds. Miz continues to trash Chad and the Bengals.

Miz says he’s awesome when the e-mail alert goes off and Cole has to read from the General Manager. It’s time to determine Miz’s match tonight. Alicia Fox is backstage and she spins the wheel. It lands on a Submission Match. The alert goes off again and it’s announced Miz’s match will be non-title and his opponent will be up to Ochocinco. Chad decides that Miz’s opponent will be Daniel Bryan. Bryan’s music hits and out he comes.

Submission Match: Daniel Bryan vs. The Miz

Bryan comes down to the ring with a smile on his face for this non-title match. We go to commercial.

Back from the break and Bryan is working over Miz in the corner with kicks. Bryan misses a charge in the corner and lands on his knee. Miz takes over and works on Bryan’s leg. We see Alex Riley at ringside. Miz stomps away on Bryan’s leg. Miz locks on a Figure Four leglock. Bryan reverses it and the hold is broken. Bryan goes for the LaBell lock but Miz makes it to the ropes. Miz rolls out to the floor to regroup.

Miz is really selling an injury as Riley checks on him. Miz grabs a mic and says he thinks he has a hernia. Yep, it’s definitely a hernia, he says. He says to ensure that he can defend his belt at Night of Champions, he’s pulling out of this match. The ring announcer goes to announce Bryan the winner by forfeit but Miz cuts him off and says he’s hurt, not quitting. Miz says Bryan can face Riley tonight if he wants to perform.

Alex Riley vs. Daniel Bryan

Riley takes his shirt off and hops in the ring, not dressed to wrestle. The bell rings and he attacks Bryan. Riley applies a leg lock on Bryan but he counters it. Bryan locks on the LaBell Lock and Riley taps out.

Winner: Daniel Bryan

After the match, The Miz runs in the ring and starts beating down Daniel Bryan, looking to be just fine now. Miz drops Bryan with a big boot to the face. Miz drops his US Title beside Bryan and presses his face into it. Miz taunts Bryan and calls him average. Bryan gets up and Miz goes for the Skull Crushing Finale. Bryan counters and locks on the LaBell Lock. Miz taps out as Riley just looks on from ringside. Miz continues to tap but Bryan won’t break the hold. Bryan finally breaks it and smiles to the crowd as his music plays. Riley helps Miz up the ramp.

We go backstage to Jillian Hall spinning the Roulette wheel. Edge is with her. He breaks out into song and dance with her. The wheel continues to spin as Cole wonders what match Edge will get. We go to commercial without knowing.

Body Slam Challenge: Edge vs. Evan Bourne

Back from the break and out comes Edge for the next match. Out comes Evan Bourne and it’s announced this will be a Body Slam Challenge. They go at it and Bourne tries for a slam early. More back and forth. Edge struggles for a slam but Bourne uses the ropes to block it. Bourne kicks Edge in the chin hard and he hits the mat. Bourne goes for a slam but Edge counters and hits the inverted DDT.

Edge picks Bourne up and body slams him to get the easy win.

Winner: Edge

After the match, Bourne gets to his feet but Edge is gearing up for a spear. Bourne turns around and Edge lays him out. Edge goes to celebrate but the e-mail alert goes off in the arena. Cole announces that Edge must perform in a second Body Slam Challenge now. Out comes his opponent… Mark Henry.

Body Slam Challenge: Edge vs. Mark Henry

Mark Henry comes down to the ring smiling and Edge doesn’t look too happy. Henry charges and Edge ducks. Henry shoves Edge across the ring. Henry goes for a splash int he corner but Edge moves. Edge goes for a bodyslam and Henry falls on top of him. Henry scoops Edge up and slams him for the win.

Winner: Mark Henry

During the break, R-Truth came out to hype the crowd and fill them in on the next match.

Back from commercial and out comes Ted DiBiase and Maryse.

Song & Dance Match: Maryse and Ted DiBiase vs. Eve Torres and R-Truth

Revolutionary Championship Wrestling’s Gold Rush rocked the Jackson YMCA as fans got to see the some RCW stars of past return to action and some new interesting developments with other stars in the company. This is what went down at Gold Rush:

RangerBob opened the show and introduced his new commentating cohort, Ace Gigolo. The owners of Wrestle Ohio, The Mastermind and his wife, Sara entered the ring to introduce Wrestle Ohio’s contracted wrestler that is going to take over RCW. Nikita Allanov made his way to the ring and put down the fans and the country. RCW President, Al Snow’s “ears and eyes” made his way to the ring and said he had some power too. Allanov’s original opponent (Bryan Cross) was no longer part of the picture. His replacement would be Chuck Chronic. This would be Chronic’s first match back since his tragic accident a few years ago that left him with several burn scars. Chronic fought hard but Allanov proved victorious. Chronic was then beaten down after the match for no other reason but to send a message to “The Black Superman” Onyx. Allanov said Onyx feared him. Max Power ran into the ring to save Chuck. Wrestle Ohio jumped ship. Power stated he knew Onyx very well and when the time is right, Onyx would be back in RCW to take care of business.

Max Power returned to action for the first time since late 2004. Power would face “Captivating” Corey Mason. Mason proved to be wily as he was able to get the upper hand on the outside of the ring but the sheer girth and power of Power was too much and Max Power made Mason tap in an excruciating version of a camel clutch.

Flash Fury barley retained the North American Title against Randy “The King” Allen. Allen had wore down the surgically repaired leg of Fury and seemed to have him beat, but as we all know you cannot count Flash Fury out. Fury hit Allen with sliced bread for the win.

Metal Mayhem held on to their titles but paid the price in a war with The Black Irish Saints. DDK of the BIS is no stranger to the RCW Tag Team Titles, being a former tag champ himself. Devlin Anderson made his RCW debut and took it to the champs. Heavy Metal and Keith Hamblin held their own and came out with the victory. After the match it seemed that the BIS wanted to shake hands. MM did so but were sucker-punched and then laid out by The Black Irish Saints. This war is just beginning!

“American Idol” Dirk Extreme knew that Trik Nasty would not be in Jackson as it was reported on our website a week prior. Extreme thought he would sing and leave. He even introduced his new “manager” Simon…who is…we’ll just say a little stiff. Let’s just say that Extreme is now totally off his rocker. Loony came out and said that Trik Nasty’s schedule had been resolved and he was here after all. Trik Nasty defeated Dirk Extreme after a superkick even with all of Simon’s vocal interruptions….

The RCW World Title Match between Juggulator and Champion Judas Thorn started out as a brawl from the onset. Ladders and everything but the kitchen sink was used before the bell even rung. Judas Thorn came out on top and retained the title. Juggulator scored some satisfaction by busting the champion open with a pair of brass knuckles. This one is far from being over.

“The Boss” Sean Bossman started off the show with the National Anthem and reminded everyone of the upcoming “Hot August Fight” being held at the DAV Hall in Middletown on the 28th. He mentioned the Street Fight between “The Frontman” Evan Da Malice and Shomari, the DWA Internet Title match between the champion Virus taking on his former friend Idol Heinze and that WWE Legend Brutus “The Barber” Beefcake and the DWA World Champion Vic the Bruiser will be on hand.

Soon after that, Sgt. Ledbetter came to the ring for his match and snatched the mic away and started berating the crowd as usual. After this, his opponent was announced as Dewey Brown. These guys worked a good match in the blazing heat, even though the sun was setting in the west. But all it took was Ledbetter capturing Dewey in an airplane spin and a neck breaker to garner the 1-2-3.

Next out was the tag team Purple Reign, though only The S.I. was working this singles match. His opponent was announced to be the DWA Internet Title holder, Virus. This was a match-up of two of the best high-flyers on the DWA roster and they showed it in the sweltering heat this night. Even PT attempted to get a few licks in as well but Virus was able to overcome it all and by using his famous double stomp off the top rope, captured the pinfall to retain his title.

“The Colonel” Jonathan James made his way out, to the dismay of the crowd, and was in a visible bad mood. He has for months now, tried to rid the DWA of his main nemesis, Evan Da Malice. He told the crowd that the events of last year’s fair would not be repeated and about the upcoming Street Fight and mentioned that neither Shomari nor “The Showcase” were there that evening, “But I always have a plan,” he told them. He had purchased the services of a man who was going to soften up Da Malice for Shomari and called to the ring, Abdullah the Butcher Jr. After “The Frontman” was introduced, the match began but did not bode well for The Colonel as the use of a chair backfired and Evan picked up the win.

To say James was livid would be an understatement. He promptly fired his charge and told the fans that like he said earlier in the night, he always had a plan and called more men out. As Purple Reign and Ledbetter emerged from the back, James climbed into the ring and stomped onto the Butcher, releasing a mountain of anger upon him. Security surrounded the ring as all 4 attacked the big man and this enabled an elderly fan to slip in with a chair and began swinging it, striking the security guys and James. The Sheriff’s Dept. quickly subdued the man and pulled him away. The Colonel flew into a rage about the lax security again and lit into DWA founder Johnny Diamond. By this time, Da Malice came back out and had Brown and Virus with him. Colonel asked why he was there and that his team could beat those three easily. As Evan made a challenge, James’ new army circled around and began to leave until Diamond said that there WOULD be a 6-man match as the Main Event.

Once order was restored, the 6-man match began as Dewey and PT were the first ones in. Though each man entered the fray at one time or another, Brown and PT worked most of the match. Ledbetter and Purple Reign cut Brown off from his teammates for most of the contest as they took turns slaughtering the kid. But once Dewey was able to make a tag, it was a donnybrook that ended when Ledbetter and Purple Reign walked away and was counted out. So the victory was given to the team of Dewey Brown, DWA Internet Title holder Virus and “The Frontman” Evan Da Malice.
