Pro Wrestling Ohio TV airtimes this week -
Sunday night, June 27: 10:00 PM & 3:30 AM
Saturday, July 3: 3:30 AM
Scheduled line-up –
PWO Television Title – “Amazing” N8 Mattson defends against “Omega” Aaron Draven
“Amazing” N8, leader of the “Sons of Michigan” has taken great pride in claiming that “the best wrestler on television in Ohio is from Michigan!” and also in getting the best of former and first-ever PWO TV champion “Omega” Aaron Draven. Once N8 became “bored” with Omega, he dispatched Benjamin Boone to eliminate Draven, attacking him backstage and DDT-ing Omega onto a chair. While Omega was on the shelf for six weeks, he was able to recover and immediately target the Sons of Michigan upon his return. After defeating Michael Façade to re-claim #1 contendership to the PWO TV Title, Draven was granted another shot at the gold, much to Mattson’s dismay. Word has it N8 has placed a special provision in the contract of this match – this is the LAST time N8 Mattson and Aaron Draven will meet for the TV Title – no matter what! Will Omega prove orange is the new gold once again, or can N8 Mattson survive Draven one last time and be rid of him forever?
PWO Tag Team Titles – Sex Appeal defend against The Homeless Handicapped Connection
Gregory Iron & Hobo Joe have traveled a long road to earn this one shot, an opportunity nearly a year in the making. Ever since Sex Appeal, Bobby Shields, Bobby Beverly & Nicki Valentino, set out to eliminate “lesser beings” from PWO, Iron & Hobo knew they had to become a cohesive tag team to survive. Not only have they survived, they’ve thrived, forcing Dawn Decadence out of Sex Appeal & PWO altogether, and earning a shot at the PWO Tag Titles. A loss here would be a major blow to the ego of Sex Appeal, who feel they are superior, physically and mentally, to all others, especially PWO’s resident dumpster dweller and handicapped hero. Can Iron & Hobo achieve the impossible dream and win one for the little guy or can Sex Appeal continue their dominant reign atop tag team wrestling?
Marion Fontaine Demands Competition!
“Megastar” Marion Fontaine has been very public about his disdain and frustration toward PWO management, and how he feels his career has been mishandled and damaged almost beyond repair. Fontaine has taken it upon himself to attempt to get noticed, at the expense of his opponents, former friends, and the company as a whole. Fontaine has demanded an opponent – ANY opponent this week on television. Will Fontaine be able to showcase why he feels he’s the best wrestler PWO has today?
Krimson vs. Brian Bender
The embodiment of evil himself, Krimson, steps back into action against former PWO Tag Team Champion Brian Bender. Krimson was very influential a week ago, distracting Super Hentai to the point where Hentai was defeated by M-Dogg 20 Matt Cross, a shady ending to an epic bout. This week, Krimson looks to exploit another victim. Bender has been embroiled in a war of words with ex-partner Ernie Ballz over who truly carried the “Clash” team. Can a win over Krimson silence his critics? Or can Krimson’s reign of terror over all of PWO continue with another innocent victim?
Plus: PWO Champion Johnny Gargano will be in attendance, an injury update on Michael “The Bomber” Façade, words from Super Hentai, and more!
Raven to Appear at PWO: Wrestlelution 3
Posted on June 24, 2010 by Joe Dombrowski
This past week on PWO TV, agent Aaron Maguire was clearly growing desperate. Despite a seven-month long bounty on the head of arch-nemesis Jason Bane, Maguire looked on as his 6’8” rival, in by far the best shape of his career, was poised to challenge Johnny Gargano for the PWO Title. A desperate Maguire, who outright REFUSED to call a match that would see Bane capture the PWO Title, and thus make Maguire look like a fool, announced that his bounty had been upped – anyone who could rid Pro Wrestling Ohio of Jason Bane would now become $100,000 richer! The stakes were set, and so began one of the most tumultuous title bouts in PWO history.
As Bane and Johnny Gargano did battle, the ring began to become rather crowded, as nearly a dozen wrestlers emerged from the locker room looking on, many with two different motives – one being to catch Bane off-guard, and find a way to end his career and cash in big, the other being to watch Johnny Gargano, currently mired in a weeks-long series of allegations and rumors over back-jumping and sneak-attacking numerous wrestlers in recent weeks, rumors strengthened considerably by the recent reliable word of “M-Dogg 20” Matt Cross. As Cross looked on from backstage, Bane beat Gargano mercilessly, perhaps to “teach a lesson” on behalf of the locker room, as much as it was to capture the championship, yet Gargano showed no quit and did not back down from the unstoppable onslaught. However, when the official was accidentally knocked down, the gates were opened and all hell broke loose. Bane & Gargano were forced to ban together to fight off the army of attackers, and once the coast had cleared, it almost seemed as if Bane’s opinion on Gargano was about to change. However, before any pleasantries could be exchanged, Aaron Maguire dropped a bombshell. Since no PWO star has been successful in eliminating Bane, Maguire will have to dig into his own pockets to hire the right man for the job. That man? Raven!
Raven is both famous and infamous as one of the most ruthless, sadistic, and brutal professional wrestlers in recent memory. A veteran of the sport, Raven first rose to major success in the original ECW, capturing their World Title numerous times, and engaging in classic rivalries with The Sandman and Tommy Dreamer. From there, Raven migrated to WCW, bringing a “flock” of misfits and rejects with him, and coining the term “Raven’s Rules” for his signature brand of no-disqualification, anything-goes matches. From there, Raven would stop by WWE, where he dominated their Hardcore division, capturing the title over two dozen times! In 2003, Raven debuted in TNA Wrestling, and in 2005 captured the historic NWA World Title live on pay-per-view.
Raven is a sinister, diabolical evil genius, a master of human psychology and mind games, and a man who enjoys violence, pain, and misery. He has broken bones, torn tendons, and crushed spirits just for fun, but on Sunday afternoon, August 1 at the Nautica Pavilion at “PWO Wrestlelution 3: A Defining Moment“, Raven will be paid handsomely by Aaron Maguire to carry out every sick, vile wish the agent may have. “Raven’s Rules” returns to Cleveland at PWO Wrestlelution, as Raven (accompanied by Aaron Maguire & personal bodyguard Mr. Brinks) goes one-on-one with Jason Bane. Can Raven carry out Maguire’s plan and eliminate Bane from PWO forever, or will Jason Bane survive another dastardly Aaron Maguire plan?
We will find out Sunday, August 1 at the Nautica Pavilion!

SHIIMA XION INJURES MICHAEL FAÇADE – FAÇADE’S CONDITION UNKNOWN
This past Sunday on PWO TV, we witnessed a sinister event, based on jealousy and animosity, as Shiima Xion assaulted Michael “The Bomber” Façade during a scheduled interview.
Façade had just narrowly lost a bout with “Omega” Aaron Draven to crown a new #1 Contender to the PWO Television Title, and was addressing the issue when Shiima blindsided Façade. The situation, clearly motivated by Façade’s defeat of Shiima in one-on-one action a number of weeks ago on television, and also by Shiima’s elimination from the prior week’s Gauntlet Battle Royal by Façade & Aeroform, worsened when Shiima was able to carry out an act he had intended to do since that loss.
Moments following that Shiima/Façade match, Shiima was prepared to perform his usual “photo op”, where he would obnoxiously pose for the cameras while spraying his can of hairspray into his opponent’s eyes. Shiima tried to take things a step further when he attempted the photo op, not with his own hairspray, but with Façade’s can of spraypaint. Thankfully, Façade’s friends Louis Lyndon & Flip Kendrick, Aeroform, were able to rescue Façade in time.
Unfortunately, this week the outcome was different for Façade as, with Lyndon & Kendrick not in attendance, The Bomber was an unfortunate target. Shiima picked his spot, and finished what he had started, blinding Façade with his very own spraypaint.

Façade was rushed to a nearby medical facility for tests and observation. While it can be confirmed Façade suffered damage to his vision, and various abrasions in and around the eye, an exact diagnosis and timetable is not yet available.

Scheduled line-up –
PWO Title – Johnny Gargano defends Jason Bane
The two biggest targets on the PWO roster, and until recently, unquestionably the two most popular, will see action against one another for the coveted PWO Title! Johnny Gargano has been plagued by accusations of being behind the string of backstage assaults in recent weeks, with all evidence seeming to be pointing directly at him. Is this the week Gargano reveals his true colors? Will his focus be where it needs to be with Bane, who physically kicked Gargano out of the locker room recently? Jason Bane himself has been fighting similar adversity, as he has battled an entire locker room dead-set on ending his career and collecting the $50,000 Bounty Aaron Maguire has placed on Bane’s head. Rumor has it, Aaron Maguire is enraged about Bane qualifying for a PWO Title match despite the threat of the bounty, and reports have it Maguire has been making numerous phone calls and plans on keeping Bane away from the PWO Title this Sunday… at any cost! Will someone finally cash in on the bounty? Who will walk away from this match of two marked men as PWO Champion?
M-Dogg 20 Matt Cross vs. Super Hentai
Two internationally traveled high-flyers meet for the very first time in Pro Wrestling Ohio. We have seen a newfound aggression and anger in M-Dogg surrounding his recent lack of success in qualifying for an official PWO Title shot, coupled with the apparent attack he suffered from our mysterious culprit. Cross has placed the blame squarely on PWO Champion Johnny Gargano, but will have to block that out if he hopes to overcome Hentai. Hentai has had several verbal and physical confrontations with the embodiment of evil, Krimson, and is the first man to truly stand up to Krimson and his sinister and diabolical ways. Can Hentai send a message to Krimson or will M-Dogg get back on track in pursuing the PWO Title he still feels should rightfully be his?
Shiima Xion & ??? Vs. Eric Ryan & Corey Winters w/Ernie Ballz
Shiima Xion has spent all week gloating about his heinous act this past week, blinding Michael “The Bomber” Façade with his very own spraypaint. Word has it Shiima’s not satisfied yet, and has plans in store for Façade’s newfound friends Aeroform (Louis Lyndon & Flip Kendrick) as well. Shiima says those plans will be revealed this Sunday, apparently in this tag match where they oppose Eric Ryan & Corey Winters, along with manager Ernie Ballz. Ernie has not seemed to gel well with Eric & Corey, and seems to be more concerned over re-living his own past successes than helping two young promising stars. Why would Ernie sign his team for a match where one of the participants hasn’t even been named? Regardless, these men will see tag action. Who is Shiima’s partner and what are his plans for Aeroform?
“Big Bear” Benjamin Boone in action!
The unstoppable force behind The Sons of Michigan sees one-on-one action. It’s been well over a year since anyone has pinned Ben Boone, and it seems as if that won’t change anytime soon. With just one week away from Boone’s mentor N8 Mattson’s next PWO TV Title defends against Omega Aaron Draven, what state of mind will Boone be in?
Plus – We hear Aeroform’s thoughts on Shiima Xion’s attack on Michael Façade… Sex Appeal & The Homeless Handicapped Connection discuss their PWO Tag Team Title match against one another next week… Omega Aaron Draven & N8 Mattson discuss next week’s PWO TV Title bout… plus more!

Pro Wrestling Ohio TV airtimes this week -
Sunday night, May 30: 10:00 PM & 3:30 AM
Scheduled line-up –
Title Shot vs. Career – PWO Tag Champs Sex Appeal vs. The Homeless Handicapped Connection
Sex Appeal have remained dominant over the PWO tag team scene since winning the titles some six months ago, and with their strength in numbers and ability to choose any two members to defend the titles, Bobby Shields, Bobby Beverly, Nicki Valentino, and Dawn Decadence have only become more powerful and ego-driven. Gregory Iron & Hobo Joe have spent several weeks developing the trust and chemistry necessary to become a successful tag team, even enlisting the help of long-time Hobo Joe friend and current WWE returnee Virgil. Iron & Hobo feel they finally have what it takes to be top contenders, but Sex Appeal has had enough of what they feel is a pointless charade. Sex Appeal agreed to give Hobo & Greg one match against them. If The Homeless Handicapped Connection win they get a PWO Tag Title shot, BUT if Greg & Hobo should lose, they are NEVER allowed to team together again. Iron & Hobo agreed on the condition, that the career of one of the members of Sex Appeal be put on the line as well. Desperate to rid “their” TV show of those they deem inferior like Greg & Hobo, Sex Appeal agreed, and volunteered the career of Dawn Decadence! History will be made this week as the next top contenders to the PWO Tag Titles may be determined, and either the Gregory Iron & Hobo Joe tag team, or Dawn Decadence, will be gone from PWO forever.
Eric Ryan w/Ernie Ballz vs. Isaac Montana
Eric Ryan & Corey Winters have struggled in recent weeks under the new direction of former PWO Tag Champion “The Rock Show” Ernie Ballz, as it seems the loud and boisterous attitude of Ernie isn’t exactly compatible with the mindset of Ryan & Winters. This week, Ernie leads Eric Ryan into battle against the only healthy member of the Puerto Rican Wrecking Crew, Isaac Montana. With Luis Diamante still nursing injuries suffered from Krimson, Montana will have to go it on his own. How will the Ryan/Ernie relationship dictate the outcome of this match?
Krimson vs. Corey James
The embodiment of the evil that exists inside us all, Krimson, has amped up his aggression and injured a number of PWO stars, much to the chagrin of Super Hentai, who spends his time mentoring and helping young stars, and grooming a new generation of athletes as opposed to trying to destroy them. Hentai has issued warnings to Krimson to stop his mission of intentionally injuring his opponents, but thus far the demands seem to have fallen on deaf ears. This week, Krimson meets a young athlete looking to get noticed and make an impact, but to do so against Krimson is a tall order. Will Krimson find his next victim and how will Super Hentai react?
All this plus further updates on the identity of the mystery surrounding the recent backstage attacks on a number of top title contenders!

Scheduled line-up –
PWO Title #1 Contender Tournament Final – “M-Dogg 20” Matt Cross vs. “Amazing” N8 Mattson
After a weeks-long war of attrition, only two title contenders remain from the original field of 8, with the winner to be next in line to challenge PWO Champion Johnny Gargano for Pro Wrestling Ohio’s top prize. N8 Mattson is still the reigning PWO TV Champion and looks to become PWO’s first-ever dual champion and solidify the dominance of The Sons of Michigan. M-Dogg Matt Cross looks to FINALLY achieve a goal he has been fighting to attain for over a year – a shot at the title he once wore so proudly but was screwed out of so heinously. N8 has been looking on at Gargano title defenses for months. M-Dogg has been chasing a PWO Title shot for over a year. Will Gargano battle Michigan’s finest or will Gargano’s promise of and M-Dogg title match finally be granted by PWO management after this tournament final? Who will move on to challenge Gargano, and will they be the next PWO Champion?
Bounty Match: Jason Bane vs. Brian Bender
Bane continues to be a marked man thanks to Aaron Maguire’s ever-growing bounty, and this week former Clash member Brian Bender attempts to collect. Bender and former championship partner Ernie Ballz have been embroiled in a weeks-long debate over whom truly carried their Clash tag team. While Ballz has attempted to prove his point by guiding a new tag team, Eric Ryan & Corey Winters, Bender has attempted to prove his point by battling PWO’s most dangerous athletes, including Krimson, and now PWO’s Most Dominant Man, Jason Bane. This bounty has only motivated Bane, helping push him to get in the best shape of his entire career. Can Bender end Bane’s career and become a rich man overnight? Or will Aaron Maguire’s plan be thwarted again?
“Big Bear” Benjamin Boone vs. Isaac Montana
“Son of Michigan” member Ben Boone may still be unpinned, but suffered a painful countout loss this past week to send him packing from the PWO Title Tournament. This week, Boone attempts to take out his frustrations by digging his claws into Isaac Montana of the Puerto Rican Wrecking Crew. Will Montana end Boone’s unpinned streak or will Boone take out his frustrations?
Women’s Action: Portia Perez vs. Sassy Steph
Our format sheet says “Portia Perez”. Our eyes tell us we’ve seen Portia Perez in recent weeks on television. However, according to this young woman, her name is not Portia. It is “Dr. Monstrous” and she is a superhero. Yep. A superhero. In a poorly constructed children’s costume that does as little as possible to conceal her identity. After being unable to score a win in PWO, Portia disappeared for a number of months, announcing she would “call a close friend”. What we got is Dr. Monstrous. We’re not sure the details, and if we are actually supposed to believe this gag, but Sassy Steph, making her PWO return after an over two year absence, has the task of figuring out how to conquer our apparent newfound hero. Does Por—er, Dr. Monstous really possess powers not of this Earth. Or perhaps more accurately – does she think she does?
Plus: Comments from Krimson, Super Hentai, The Homeless Handicap Connection, and more!

Pro Wrestling Ohio TV airtimes this week -
Sunday night, May 16: 10:00 PM & 3:30 AM
Scheduled line-up –
PWO #1 Contender Tournament Semifinal – M-Dogg 20 Matt Cross vs. Benjamin Boone
Last week, PWO TV Champion “Amazing” N8 Mattson defeated Jason Bane after considerable help from “Big Bear” Ben Boone to advance to the finals of the tournament to crown the next #1 contender to Johnny Gargano’s PWO Title. Mattson & Boone are one step away from achieving their goal of an all “Sons of Michigan” final. However, the one step left is the man who has felt he has been owed a PWO Title shot for over a year now, and especially these past six month – PWO’s first champion, M-Dogg 20 Matt Cross. M-Dogg has a clear goal, that being to gain a shot at the championship he was, in the eyes of many, unfairly defeated for, and has been chasing a return shot at since a year ago at this time. Ben Boone is still unpinned since aligning with Mattson, will M-Dogg be the first to defeat him or will we see a Michigan vs. Michigan tournament final?
PWO TV Title: “Amazing” N8 Mattson Defends Against Michael “The Bomber” Façade
Michael Façade earned this title opportunity four weeks ago when he defeated “Omega” Aaron Draven and Matthew Justice in a three-way Table Match, and now with Façade eliminated from the #1 Contender’s Tournament, The Bomber has chosen now to challenge champion N8 Mattson. Façade has had a string of impressive wins, including taking PWO Champion Johnny Gargano to the limit. Mattson has not only qualified for the tournament final, but has successfully defended his crown since early in the year, and continued to boast that the best wrestler on television in Ohio… is from Michigan. Can Michael Façade officially “tag” the PWO TV title, or can Amazing N8 build momentum for his upcoming tournament final match?
Update: Who Is The Mysterious Backstage Attacker?
Last week, Gregory Iron was added to a list of victims of savage and anonymous backstage sneak-attacks that have also laid waste to Bobby Beverly, Marion Fontaine, and Michael Façade. The attacks have much in common – done from behind, with no one around, and the victim doesn’t see who has done it. The victims have only one thing in common – recent opponents of PWO Champion Johnny Gargano. Added to that, the eerily familiar way Iron was found unconscious, favoring his head, near a set of guardrails immediately reminded many of the Gargano/Iron rivalry of the past. Word has it, Greg has NOT been cleared to wrestle, but HAS been released from the hospital and plans to confront Gargano this Sunday night on PWO TV! What will happen when these two meet? Will Gargano admit any wrongdoing? Will there be another victim? Will any other news come to the surface in this saga?
Krimson vs. Brian Bender
The quest of former Clash teammates Brian Bender and Ernie Ballz to determine whom, in their minds, truly carried their tag team to championship gold and the annihilation of numerous legends, leads Bender to accepting a most frightening challenge. The embodiment of evil, the man out to ruin the hopes and dreams of everyone in wrestling, Krimson is the opponent selected by Ballz to face Bender. Can the will to shut up his abrasive former partner keep Bender from tasting defeat or will Krimson add his latest victim? And what about Super Hentai, who has been very critical of Krimson in past weeks? What will his reaction be?
Ben Fruith’s Latest Challenge
PWO’s gullible, loveable loser Ben Fruith can’t catch a break. After weeks of being bullied by supposed “best friend” Mike Tolar, Fruith then spent the past several weeks trying to find the allegedly “missing” Tolar with a serious of ridiculous flyers. Now, Fruith’s contract has been bought by the Sons of Michigan, and their goal is to sweep PWO TV this week with a 3-0 record. While Mattson & Boone have good odds, one must question Ben Fruith’s chances. Who is his opponent? And will this be another sick game to push around and abuse a young kid that doesn’t know any better?

Scheduled line-up…
PWO Tag Team Titles: Sex Appeal vs. Aeroform
Sex Appeal’s Bobby Shields, Bobby Beverly, and Nicki Valentino, along with Dawn Decadence, have enjoyed a successful reign as tag champions thanks largely to the “Freebird Rule” allowing any two members of the team to defend the gold at any given time. Sex Appeal’s egos have only grown with possession of the tag belts, as the perfect accessory to their alleged flawless physiques. However, Louis Lyndon & Flip Kendrick have instantly made an impact in PWO in singles & tag competition, including a past pinfall victory over Nicki Valentino, and the victory in a PWO Tag Title #1 Contender’s Match last week. A tag title win would give Aeroform the fastest ascension to the top of the ladder in PWO history. Will Sex Appeal use numbers and trickery to retain the titles or can Aeroform flip the script on the tag team scene?
PWO Title #1 Contender’s Tournament Semifinal – Jason Bane vs. N8 Mattson
The final field of four in the tournament to crown a new number one contender is set, as Jason Bane, M-Dogg 20 Matt Cross, and both Sons of Michigan – “Big Bear” Ben Boone and PWO TV Champion “Amazing” N8 Mattson have advanced. This week, the bracketing gives us PWO’s Most Dominant Man against the man who proudly boasts that the best wrestler on Cleveland television is from Michigan. Jason Bane recently pinned N8 in tag team competition, but with the Sons of Michigan looking at a flawless record in tournament action so far, and hoping for an all Michigan final, can anyone stop “Amazing” N8 from being the next in line for a PWO Title shot?
Shiima Xion vs. Michael “The Bomber” Façade
Wrestling’s first Filipino supermodel is undefeated since his PWO return three weeks ago, and has not been content with just pinning his opponents. Shiima has embarrassed each one after the match with a degrading “photo op” of Xion posing over his fallen opponents, then to add further insult to injury, spraying a can of hairspray into the eyes of his fallen foe. Shiima’s obnoxious attitude will face its toughest test to date in PWO in the form of “Suburban Terrorist” Michael “The Bomber” Façade. Façade has seen renewed success in PWO and despite being a victim of the numbers game against The Sons of Michigan in the #1 Contender tournament, and being the victim of the recent in an alarming string of backstage attacks, Façade is not shying away of the toughest competition he can find. Will Façade get back on track or will Shiima make another aggressive fashion statement?
Plus: We hear from the returning Marshall “The Bull” Gambino, who made a major impact in six man tag team competition this past week, plus we hear from PWO Champion Johnny Gargano, The Sons of Michigan, and more!
