Pro Wrestling Ohio TV airtimes this week -

Sunday night, August 22: 10:00 PM & 3:30 AM

Scheduled for this week’s broadcast…

“PWO Wrestlelution 3: A Defining Moment” Highlights

It was an event of emotion, of spectacle, of finality. An event that saw new heights achieved, dreams realized, and scores settled. An event of final chapters, and the beginning of new journeys to be forged in the months ahead. It was, quite simply, our defining moment.

Over the next few weeks on PWO TV, relive just a few of the monumental moments that made PWO Wrestlelution 3 an unforgettable happening in front of nearly 2,000 fans!

This week…

“Hacksaw” Jim Duggan vs. “Megastar” Marion Fontaine
Marion Fontaine has spent months as the most outspoken and controversial athlete in PWO, publicly chastising and criticizing PWO management, personnel, and wrestlers, all the while claiming he himself is top commodity in the organization, and has been held back for years because he “didn’t fit the mold or plans of PWO”. At PWO Wrestlelution 3, Fontaine had a chance to back up his words by facing a bona fide legend in “Hacksaw” Jim Duggan, a star for thirty years who has beaten everything from foreign sympathizers to cancer. Duggan was brought in to beat some respect into the Megastar, but did he succeed? What will Marion Fontaine do when placed against one of the toughest, wildest, and popular personalities in wrestling history?

Krimson’s Fate Changes
We were scheduled to see Krimson battle Super Hentai in a war of the destruction of wrestling vs. its salvation, however extenuating circumstances kept Hentai from appearing at the event, citing an undisclosed family emergency. How did Krimson address this change of plans? Does he know more than meets the eye? And what action did Krimson see, despite his scheduled opponent not being in attendance?

Portia Perez vs. Ben Fruith w/Benjamin Boone
Ben Fruith’s contract was acquired by N8 Mattson & Benjamin Boone, The Sons of Michigan, so that they could have their own personal servant to push around and do their odd jobs. Yet Fruith, the 150 pound gullible, loveable loser isn’t exactly the most confident or successful lad in PWO, and thusly has had a less than successful run thus far. The Sons placed Fruith into this match, stating he HAS to win… or else there will be consequences. Portia Perez is among the best female athletes in the world, but after a PWO losing streak, reverted to the laughable persona of “Dr. Monstrous” a faux-superhero, convinced she has special powers and that the world does NOT know of her true identity, despite winning most of her matches via accident. Two of the most ironic and unusual PWO personalities battle. What happens if Ben Fruith wins? What happens if he doesn’t?

No DQ PWO Tag Title Match: Sex Appeal vs. Homeless Handicapped ConnectionYouTube Preview Image
Sex Appeal had spent months belittling and mistreating Gregory Iron & Hobo Joe because they were underprivileged and different. As self-proclaimed flawless and superior beings, Bobby Shields, Bobby Beverly, and Nicki Valentino felt that Hobo Joe’s lack of hygiene and Gregory Iron’s disability meant Iron & Hobo weren’t even in their league. Sex Appeal routinely found contract loopholes to outsmart the popular underdogs, and always seemed to find a way to use their numbers advantage to keep Greg & Hobo from getting a fair shake. Iron & Hobo had had enough and challenged the superficial super group to one last match… with No Disqualification. Beverly accepted, vowing to finish the job on destroying Iron, and avenging the accident of a year ago that led to Iron knocking out Beverly’s teeth. However, with no rules, could anything stop Sex Appeal from using their numbers edge to unleash another savage beating and reign supreme? Could Hobo Joe & Gregory Iron finally outsmart their opponents and prove themselves as equal to, if not better than, the PWO Tag Champions? See highlights of this violent and shocking bout this Sunday night!

Ninja Elite Squad (Michael “The Bomber” Façade & Aeroform) vs. Gambino Family & ???
Shiima Xion hired The Gambino Family, “Nice Guy” Mickey and Marshall “The Bull” to take care of some dirty work and rid PWO of the three men that had interrupted the male model’s rise to the top of PWO. After Shiima put Façade on the shelf with an eye injury, blinding Façade with his own can of spraypaint, Façade made a triumphant return to do the same to Shiima, bringing literal meaning to “eye for an eye”. With Shiima out with an injury, The Gambinos have been assigned a new tag partner, and are still out to destroy Façade, Louis Lyndon & Flip Kendrick. Will Shiima’s mission still be carried out or will the unification of the Ninja Elite Squad lead to an exhilarating victory?

Results – PWO: Wrestleution 3 – 8/01/10

The signature event of Pro Wrestling Ohio every year is “Wrestlelution”, and this year’s installment is officially in the books. An afternoon of drama, emotion, triumph, and defeat. For all involved it was truly “A Defining Moment”.

PWO Champion Johnny Gargano attempted to unleash a year’s worth of hell in one night upon challenger “M-Dogg 20” Matt Cross in a hellacious war that saw the two men battle through a sea of people throughout the entire Nautica Pavilion. Johnny Gargano’s attempts at replicating his dive from a 25 foot balcony the prior year were thwarted by the uncanny aerial abilities of Cross. Matt defied gravity in several ways, not only scaling up the balcony to thwart Gargano, but risking life to tightrope walk across the edge as well, not to mention climbing the support poles of the Nautica Pavilion itself! After a wild brawl, broken tables, shattered bodies, and an ending that quite simply has to be seen to be believed and brings new meaning to “split-second timing” as Gargano literally took out his challenger in mid-air and mid-rotation. Thanks to the sadistic and vile nature of the “old” Johnny Gargano, the “new” Johnny Gargano achieves closure and restores his reputation.

Sex Appeal have spent much of the entire year out to prove they are better than the likes of Gregory Iron & Hobo Joe, The Homeless Handicapped Connection, in every way – physically and mentally. Stepping into this No-disqualification war, Bobby Shields & Bobby Beverly had no issue unleashing their ugly side to prove the dominance and superiority. Iron & Hobo held their own in a wild bloodbath that saw the supposed perfect looks of Beverly and the already war-torn flesh of Iron both bleeding heavily. Hobo & Iron were still very much in the fight with the odds even for the first time until Shields motioned for the arrival of Nicki Valentino, with handcuffs in hand. With an apparent goal of repeating the savage attack they inflicted on Iron & Hobo a few weeks beforehand, they were soon thwarted by an ace up the sleeve of the Homeless Handicapped Connection. Professional wrestling’s only one-legged wrestler, Zach Gowen, emerged through the curtain prepared to even the odds for his fellow underprivileged friends. Gowen eliminated Valentino through the use of his cane, and then unleashed a breathtaking moonsault onto a helpless Beverly. In the confusion, Shields was the one who ironically became handcuffed, allowing a measure of retribution for Hobo Joe. With Zach Gowen keeping the odds fair, Iron & Hobo were finally able to prove themselves and capture the PWO Tag Team Titles, showing that even the most superior of athletes can be bested on any given day.

“Hacksaw” Jim Duggan brought the stars & stripes and his trusty 2×4 to Pro Wrestling Ohio in an attempt to beat some respect into “Megastar” Marion Fontaine. Fontaine was cautious and looking to pick his perfect opportunity, and it soon became apparent why. The Megastar, after besting Duggan for several minutes, looked to eliminate the legend with Hacksaw’s own 2×4! Fontaine’s plans were thwarted and it was “Hacksaw” Jim Duggan with his hand raised, and Marion Fontaine who now has to find another way to show he is the alleged biggest star in PWO.

Raven wheeled in a shopping cart full of violence and brutality, with Agent Aaron Maguire and Mr. Brinks following closely behind, preparing for the $100,000 Bounty Raven’s Rules match against PWO’s Most Dominant Man, Jason Bane. As trash cans, golf clubs, metal trays, chairs, and other implements of destruction became involved, the tide turned multiple times. Raven’s mission of ridding PWO of Bane to collect the $100,000 from Maguire proved to be more difficult than first expected. Involvement from Maguire and Brinks as well aided the cause, but Bane continued to kick out of every pinfall and survive. Even The Raven Effect/Evenflow DDT was NOT enough to keep Bane down for three! Jason Bane persevered, and after numerous attempts, finally hit the Baneline to secure the pin on Raven for three. Maguire, incensed his biggest investment to date hasn’t paid off, verbally berated Raven in the center of the ring, but soon found himself in the middle of a very angry Bane AND Raven, and facing one of the most painful and humiliating moments of his life.

PWO Television Champion “Omega” Aaron Draven knew he had to pin the man who had not been pinned in nearly two years in order to keep the title he covets so dearly. Draven attempted to use speed and his death-defying arsenal to weaken Boone, but it only went so far. After several minutes of Boone demonstrating frightening power and dominance, and sheer determination, Boone motioned for Sons of Michigan lackey Ben Fruith to get involved. However, moments earlier, Fruith had been physically and verbally manhandled by Boone following Fruith’s loss to Portia “Dr. Monstrous” Perez, a match made by Boone himself, where Fruith refused to strike a woman. Fruith, however had no issues about striking Boone, as a retaliatory slap from Fruith brought a roar from the crowd. As Fruith stormed out of the arena, Boone was left a on his own, and the miscommunication allowed Omega to recover and achieve the near-impossible. After a breathtaking 450 splash, Omega Aaron Draven has pinned Benjamin Boone.

The first of two six man tags saw The Ninja Elite Squad, Michael “The Bomber” Façade, Louis Lyndon, and Flip Kendrick, unite to take on Shiima Xion’s hired guns The Gambino Family, and their partner… Nicki Valentino? While The Gambinos and Sex Appeal have done business in the past, it appeared this partnership did not mesh very well. As Marshall “The Bull” and “Nice Guy” Mickey looked to attack and assault at the request of Shiima, still at home recovering from injury, Valentino however seemed to not hold up his end of the bargain, and was perhaps more focused on his necktie than with the job at hand. After The Ninja Elite Squad had gained full control and had The Gambino Family on the outside, Mickey & Marshall chose to save the job for another day, and leave Valentino to the proverbial wolves. “Late Nite” Nicki had a long night on the receiving end of NES’ best before being finished off by Flip Kendrick. But what will happen when Shiima Xion comes back?

Elimination rules were in effect in the battle between former Clash teammates Ernie Ballz and Brian Bender as they battled to determine who truly led their former tag team to prominence. After Ernie, Eric Ryan, and Corey Winters had eliminated The Puerto Rican Wrecking Crew, the ego of Ernie Ballz took over, as he seemed to be dictating Eric & Corey’s every move, or at least attempting to. Though Eric Ryan had things well in hand, Ernie’s distraction led to Bender eliminating Ryan. In a shocking turn of events, Krimson appeared following Ryan’s elimination. While it was unsure his motives, he sprayed Ryan with that mysterious red mist, before carrying Ryan off over his shoulder. But why? Meanwhile, Corey Winters had had enough as well, and abandoned his team leader leaving Ballz vs. Bender one-on-one. After several minutes of Ernie’s brains vs. Bender’s athleticism, Brian Bender emerged triumphant as the sole survivor.

Krimson’s scheduled bout with Super Hentai did not take place due to a last minute family emergency with Hentai, however Krimson was on hand to hint that he may know a little more about this emergency than meets the eye. It seems Krimson has taken his professional crusade against the wrestling business an extra several steps, and is stepping into personal lives as well. As Krimson described this issue with a sadistic grin, Michael Façade made his second appearance of the evening, this time to stand up and fight in honor of a man who spent many years training and mentoring him, Super Hentai. With Façade taking Hentai’s place, Krimson was able to unleash much of his pent-up fury, though The Bomber pressed on utilizing his remarkable aerial skills. With Krimson’s growing power and Façade already fatigued from one match earlier in the evening, Krimson uses the “Witch’s Wheel” to win once again.

PWO: Can Fontaine Back Up His Words to Duggan

In the fall of 2007, as Pro Wrestling Ohio came into formation, “Megastar” Marion Fontaine was one of the first men to join this soon-to-be elite roster of young dreamers looking for glory. With his colorful trunks, funky music, ample mustache, and loud, colorful personality, Fontaine was immediately looked at as the feel-good, light-hearted, entertaining member of the PWO roster. Someone who can make you forget your problems, suppress your concerns, and enjoy his unique style and undeniable presence.

As time went on, Fontaine was clearly a hit within PWO, and amongst the fans, so Fontaine’s already ample personality was built upon even further. With the addition of characters like Macho Grosh, Noj the Samoan, and Kid Cupid, “Fontaine’s Freaks” was born, a collection of social outcasts and sideshow-like attractions that brought a very different element to pro wrestling TV, and was heralded by many as among the promotion’s most entertaining staples.

However, towards the end of 2009, Fontaine’s Freaks had seemingly run its course. Personal, family, and health issues led to the departure of all of Marion Fontaine’s sidekicks, leaving “The Megastar” a man alone. Though rather than move on and embark on a new chapter in his career, Fontaine decided to dwell on the past. Apparently channeling months of building anger and frustration, Fontaine delivered several very public, scathing, and unprofessional tirades toward PWO management, questioning them for their “genius marketing ideas” and for taking the best wrestling in PWO, himself, and saddling him with a group of freaks Fontaine claims to have never wanted anything to do with. Fontaine has publicly insulted and defamed PWO as a whole, not to mention everyone in it. Fontaine has taken the past three years of effort and sacrifice by PWO in investing their time in him and re-payed it with nothing but scorn and malice. Promising to expose the lies and the wrongs perpetrated by PWO, Fontaine has cried “conspiracy theory” and has convinced himself PWO is denying him opportunities because of the way he looks or acts. But one rant too many against Pro Wrestling Ohio and those in it may have led to Fontaine sealing his own fate.

“Hacksaw” Jim Duggan is one of the most beloved, revered stars of all time. With his trademark 2×4, American flag, and shout of “Hoooooooooo!”, few have built up such a rapport with their fans than Hacksaw. Originally rising to prominence in Bill Watts’ Mid-South Wrestling promotion, Duggan debuted with the World Wrestling Federation in 1987 and almost immediately rose to become one of their most popular attractions. Memorable battles with men such as Andre the Giant and Ted DiBiase, as well as anti-American such as Iron Sheik and Dino Bravo only added to this man’s appeal. In 1994, Duggan migrated to WCW, not losing a step, and even pinning Steve Austin to win the WCW United States Title. In the late 1990s, Duggan began a battle of another kind, as he was stricken with stomach cancer. Undeterred, Duggan used the same fighting spirit he had demonstrated all his career, to not only beat the cancer completely, but make a full comeback to professional wrestling, including a number of matches and appearances in the WWE throughout the past several years.

On Sunday afternoon, August 1st, “Hacksaw” Jim Duggan takes this same competitive spirit with him into Pro Wrestling Ohio. After meeting all of his great Cleveland fans, “Hacksaw” will bring his 30 year career filled with tradition, patriotism, and pride into battle against a career now filled with selfishness, paranoia, and ego on Marion Fontaine. If Fontaine can defeat this timeless legend, all his claims could be held as true, and he will catapult to the top of Pro Wrestling Ohio. But what becomes of Marion Fontaine if he doesn’t succeed? Where will his next step be if his chance to prove he is the best in PWO ends up unsuccessful? It’s “Hacksaw” Jim Duggan vs. “Megastar” Marion Fontaine in a pivotal moment for both men THIS Sunday at the Nautica Pavilion at PWO Wrestlelution 3!

PWO: Super Hentai vs. Krimson at Wrestleution

Once, not too long ago, in a land not too far away, lived a man named Conrad Kennedy III. Privileged by nature, cocky by choice, this young athlete rose to prominence as one of the Midwest’s premiere standout athletes. Receiving praise and adulation from peers and superiors alike, the man dubbed “CK3” spent years competing against some of professional wrestling’s most well-known rising stars, and most timeless legends. While all roads pointed to a life of prosperity and glory, the proverbial rollercoaster began to turn south, and a startling transformation was about to unfold.

As time progressed, many of those rising Midwest stars hit new peaks and plateaus in their careers. Many were signed to contracts with global wrestling promotions. Some toured overseas and became international superstars. Some found happiness away from wrestling, and began a new journey as a husband and father. Through all the change, one man remained. As others moved on and progressed, CK3 was left wondering what was next. Seemingly overlooked by all the dreams he had chased for years, a new feeling started to form deep within the inner-reaches of Conrad Kennedy. A feeling of loathing, of disdain, or misery. A feeling of a lifelong ambition tarnished, dreams broken, aspirations turned to dust, a feeling of constant and unwavering sacrifice being rewarded with an eternal emptiness. It was within this feeling that the man we know as Krimson was born.

As time went on, the feeling increased, it grew more powerful, to the level of consumption. Now, the evil and hatred and dark borderline-demonic side had grown stronger than his prior identity. This man had become overtaken by a vile sense of loathing, and a disturbing love of the macabre. With that, PWO was about to be overtaken as well. Dark, foreboding, and ominous messages began to surface on PWO TV, from a mysterious man, cloaked in darkness and face paint, speaking in riddles and bringing impending doom. Once he arrived, spraying an ominous red liquid from his lips, he carried out every threat that was made. Young men were beaten, battered, and bloodied. Bones were broken, examples were made, and the careers and lives of several young athletes were derailed, either temporarily or permanently by Krimson’s vengeful acts. The mission was clear – to destroy the hopes and dreams of wrestling’s next generation, just as he feels the wrestling business had destroyed his. One by one, opponents cowered at the sight of a man who cared not about wins, losses, or titles, but only about leaving a lasting impression of agony and misery.

Super Hentai – a 12 year veteran who has seen as many years, miles, and wars as Krimson. Trained in Hayabusa, Japan, Hentai stresses a level of respect, control, and discipline that comes with the Japanese culture and style. Hentai treats professional wrestling as an art form, a sport, and a sacred ground. Throughout tours of Japan & Hawaii, countless regional titles, and matches against everyone from AJ Styles to CM Punk over the years, Hentai has remained consistently one of the tri-state area’s best competitors. Outside of competing, Hentai has been very active as a trainer and mentor to young aspiring wrestling stars as well. Men such as Michael “The Bomber” Façade, and countless others, have looked toward Hentai for guidance, moral support, advice, and knowledge. Hentai has worked tirelessly to help make sure wrestling’s next generation is poised to equal or surpass the level men like he himself have reached, and to ensure professional wrestling will thrive for many years to come.

It was not surprising when Hentai became the first man to vehemently speak out against the actions of Krimson and his path of destruction. However, many were surprised when Hentai went far enough to seek out Krimson in the catacombs of the building and confront him face-to-face. Each man traded games of one-ups-man-ship with one another physically and verbally, before Hentai finally issued a challenge to Krimson to fight him at PWO Wrestlelution 3. Krimson was more than willing to accept the challenge, seemingly taunting Hentai by producing a crudely-made makeshift Hentai mask that Krimson placed on his opponents, and even set on fire, burning it to ashes, a clear symbolism of what he’d like to do to Super Hentai and his legacy.

Sunday afternoon, August 1st, PWO Wrestlelution 3 plays host to two athletes with a stark contrast of viewpoints. One man wants to help professional wrestling grow and prosper, one man is intent on destroying it and all who are within it. A glimpse into our futures may reside within this match. Perhaps the only way Hentai can successfully protect the future of PWO’s young stars is to physically remove the growing cancerous entity inside it known as Krimson. Or will Hentai endure his own personal fiery hell and be reduced to dust… like the mask?

PWO Video: Preview of Jason Bane vs. Raven

YouTube Preview ImageEvil agent Aaron Maguire has been at odds with Jason Bane since PWO’s inception in the fall of 2007. Maguire has tried everything and everyone to eliminate Bane from PWO, but nothing has gotten the job done. This past fall, Maguire placed a bounty on Bane’s head – anyone who could end Bane’s career would receive a very large cash reward upwards of $100,000. Still, no one got the job done, and Bane used the adversity as motivation, getting himself in the best shape of his life and proving why he is PWO’s “Most Dominant Man”. Maguire refused to be defeated, so he dug deep into his pockets to hire the services of Raven to meet Bane on August 1st and collect the bounty himself! Raven is one of the most feared and sadistic athletes wrestling has ever seen, a man who takes pleasure in inflicting pain on others, and has dominated ECW, WCW, WWE, and TNA, usually bringing recklessness and chaos along with him. On August 1st, Raven comes to Cleveland with Agent Aaron Maguire and Aaron’s bodyguard, Mr. Brinks, but Jason Bane is more than ready. This match favors Raven, however, as it will be under “Raven’s Rules”, meaning Raven himself sets the rules to the match, which usually results in NO rules! Will Aaron Maguire get his wish or can Bane overcome the biggest threat posed to him to date?

Pro Wrestling Ohio (PWO) may be a small, regional wrestling promotion out of Cleveland, but it is rapidly becoming the little company that could.

Founded in 2007, PWO has a weekly television show broadcast throughout the state on SportsTime Ohio. And now, its wrestlers and producers are preparing for its biggest show of the year. “Wrestlelution” will take place Aug. 1 at the Nautica Pavilion in Cleveland.

Johnny Gargano

Johnny Gargano

For Joe Dombrowski, PWO producer and lead commentator, “Wrestlelution was a given. Every wrestling promotion has their ‘signature event,’ the show you know is going to be bigger than all the others. Of course, WWE has ‘WrestleMania,’ and before that WCW had ‘Starrcade.’ ‘Wrestlelution’ is our version of that, it’s our Super Bowl.”

“‘Wrestlelution’ is always that show that you look forward to at the beginning of the season; that’s going to be the final chapter for a lot of stories,” said Johnny Gargano, PWO’s current champion. “Everything that we do in Pro Wrestling Ohio pretty much builds to ‘Wrestlelution’.” The annual event has grown in popularity and importance with each passing year. The first ‘Wrestlelution’ in 2008 drew more than 1,000 fans, a record for the company at that time. Last year’s installment drew more than 1,400. Not bad for a small promotion which started less than three years ago.

“In 2007, there was another regional wrestling organization that many of us worked for that was making some decent waves, but as time went on, many of us became concerned over some of the business practices there and realized it could only go so far. In the fall of that year, a number of individuals broke away to form Pro Wrestling Ohio, pretty much literally from scratch,” Dombrowski said. “It’s been a very grassroots effort, and it has grown very slowly and steadily, but we’re very proud of the progress we’ve made in just a short time and the passion and heart of everyone involved.”

Through its weekly timeslot on SportsTime Ohio, PWO has garnered exposure not just on a regional level, but worldwide.

“It’s amazing how many people actually see the show. We get e-mails from Britain, from Mexico, from anywhere,” Gargano said. “It’s crazy an organization in Ohio is beamed all over the world like that.”

The main event for this year’s show features two local stars on the cusp of breaking out onto the national stage. Matt Cross, a remarkable high flyer, will wrestle champion Gargano, a name fans the world over are learning about very quickly. The 22-year-old is one of the fastest-rising stars in the game.

Gargano has made his mark on the national scene with a growing role in promotions like CHIKARA, Dragon Gate USA and EVOLVE. But for PWO fans, Gargano has been a mainstay since day one, and has stolen the show with memorable matches at both previous ‘Wrestlelution’ events.

“I’ve wanted to be a wrestler since I was 8 years old, and I started training at 14,” Gargano, who trained in Cleveland, said. “It’s pretty much what I wanted to be my whole life. I wanted to be a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle, then I wanted to be a Power Ranger, then I wanted to be a pro wrestler. The first two things didn‘t work out well for me. I’m glad the wrestling thing caught on!”

Seeing stars like Gargano blossom is one of the things producer Dombrowski is most proud of. “When that happens, I think that is a testament to how hard all of our wrestlers work to better themselves and create opportunities to be able to compete on a grand scale,” he said.

It is that drive for excellence that Dombrowski feels will make the show on Aug. 1 a memorable one, for fans and wrestlers alike.

“These aren’t men and women earning millions of dollars a year under guaranteed cushy contracts — these are men and women who will do anything to prove they deserve to be in that same category,” he said. “PWO ‘Wrestlelution 3’s’ tagline this year is ‘A Defining Moment,’ and I believe it rings true. It’s a defining moment for our wrestlers to show what they really have to offer, and a defining moment as a company for us to hit the next level of our growth.”

Official final card -

PWO Title Match – “The Whole Shebang” JOHNNY GARGANO defends against “M-DOGG 20” MATT CROSS
Johnny Gargano spent much of the past 12 months doing everything he could to be a fighting champion, and to correct the demons of his past and be a champion based on respect and competition. However, when a mystery assailant began mysteriously attacking all of PWO’s top title contenders, the finger of blame was pointed squarely at Gargano. After months of being accused, ostracized, and kicked out of the locker room, videotape evidence proved that Gargano was an innocent man, and it was all a scheme devised by Matt Cross in order to tarnish the reputation Gargano had worked so hard to repair. Cross was upset over Gargano not granting him the PWO Title shot he had promised him last fall. Gargano had attempted to fulfill that promise, but an overwhelming list of title contenders and schedule from PWO management made the task next to impossible. Now, Cross has gone to desperate lengths to force PWO and Gargano to notice him, and receive the opportunity he’s waited a year and a half to receive. Cross fights to reclaim what he feels should have never left his possession – the PWO Title and the recognition of being the best wrestler in Ohio. Gargano is fighting for pride, for his reputation, and for his dignity – to undo six months of torture, and avenge six months of hell in one night. Who will prevail and be the undisputed PWO Champion?

Wrestling Legend “Hacksaw” JIM DUGGAN vs. “Megastar” MARION FONTAINE
Marion Fontaine has been very outspoken and critical of PWO all year, claiming their haphazard marketing ideas nearly led to the ruination of his career. After several very public and heated confrontations and rants, Fontaine was given what some call an opportunity to prove his claims as true, and others call a very deserving punishment for his selfish and demanding personality. Fontaine will battle a true legend of the sport… “Hacksaw” Jim Duggan! Hacksaw has been in the professional wrestling industry for 30 years, and is one of the most endearing and long-lasting personalities of all time. Duggan has captured numerous championships and has competed for the WWF, WCW, WWE, and countless other organizations. On August 1st, Duggan comes to Cleveland to meet his many fans, and to beat some respect into Marion Fontaine. Can Fontaine prove his claims or will Hacksaw prove who the real tough guy is?

RAVEN’s RULES: RAVEN w/Aaron Maguire & Mr. Brinks vs. JASON BANE
Evil agent Aaron Maguire has been at odds with Jason Bane since PWO’s inception in the fall of 2007.

PWO Tag Team Titles: SEX APPEAL defend against THE HOMELESS HANDICAPPED CONNECTION
Sex Appeal have reigned a top the tag team scene since the start of 2010. With an unmatched confidence and overbearing ego, Bobby Shields, Bobby Beverly, and Nicki Valentino have considered themselves superior to all other athletes, not only because of their self-proclaimed sexy appearances, but also by the diabolical minds behind them that have kept them a step ahead of all their challengers. Two men Sex Appeal look down on more than anyone are “Handicapped Hero” Gregory Iron, who has battled cerebral palsy all his life, and Hobo Joe, a down on his luck street-dweller used to fighting to survive. Sex Appeal deemed these men “inferior” to them in every way, and took great pride bullying them, injuring them, and outsmarting them. Bobby Beverly has especially targeted Iron based on an incident last year where Iron knocked two of Beverly’s teeth out, sending the superficial star into a panic. However, Iron & Hobo played upon Sex Appeal’s insecurities to goad them into one final match against them… only it would be No Disqualification! Sex Appeal proved they have an ugly side with a recent vicious attack on Greg & Hobo on television, but are they ready for the wild environment of No DQ on August 1st with the PWO Tag Titles at stake?

PWO Television Title: “Omega” AARON DRAVEN defends against “Big Bear” BENJAMIN BOONE
Aaron Draven is PWO’s first, and only two-time, PWO Television champion. After being defeated for the title by N8 Mattson early this year, and injured by Mattson’s “Sons of Michigan” protégé “Big Bear” Ben Boone, it seemed Omega would be out of the title picture permanently. However, Omega returned six weeks later and, showcasing his trademark desire and ability to downplay and block out pain and injury, Omega pursued his goal until he not only received another title shot, but re-captured the gold! When a contract stipulation prevented Mattson from receiving a rematch, he sent the 270 lb. Boone in his place, with a focus and intensity we have seen building for months. Since aligning with Mattson, no one has been able to pin Ben Boone, a streak that has lasted nearly two years! Boone is at his best as he looks to take the PWO TV Title back to Michigan, but Omega will have to beat the near unbeatable to survive. Can Draven find a way to do what no man has done in two years or will the PWO TV Title return to the Sons of Michigan?

KRIMSON vs. SUPER HENTAI
Krimson is a tortured soul, and the embodiment of evil. After ten years in wrestling, and many false promises and broken dreams a long the way, Krimson has unleashed his inner anger and is determined to take it out on the entire wrestling business. Krimson has injured countless young wrestlers in an attempt to inflict the same hurt onto wrestling that wrestling had thrust upon him. However, Super Hentai has stood up for these young athletes. Trained in Japan, Hentai stresses respect, discipline, and honor. Hentai works tirelessly as a mentor and trainer to wrestling’s young stars, looking to help the next generation instead of destroy it. Now, the best way to help is to destroy the growing cancer known as Krimson. Can Hentai save the PWO locker room from pure evil or will Krimson continue to run rampant?

SIX MAN TAG: MICHAEL “The Bomber” FAÇADE & AEROFORM vs. THE GAMBINO FAMILY & ???
When Michael Façade embarrassed Shiima Xion by handing him his first loss in PWO, Shiima went off the deep end and made it his mission to make Façade & his friends suffer. Shiima attacked Façade during an interview and blinded him by spraying him in the eyes with Façade’s own spraypaint. Meanwhile, Shiima hired the returning Gambinos, Mickey & Marshall, to travel to East Lansing, Michigan to attack Façade’s newfound running buddies, Louis Lyndon & Flip Kendrick, collectively known as Aeroform. However, just as Shiima & The Gambinos seemed most dominant, Façade & Aeroform regrouped, and officially united as The Ninja Elite Squad! After a warning message was sent to Marshall “The Bull”, Façade brought new meaning to “eye for an eye” as he blinded Shiima with spraypaint, much as Shiima had done to him. Now, Shiima is injured, as The Gambinos prepare for battle against Façade & Aeroform. Who will their partner be? Can The Gambinos still finish the job given to them by Shiima? Or can The Ninja Elite Squad survive the hit?

SIX MAN TAG: ERNIE BALLZ, ERIC RYAN & COREY WINTERS vs. BRIAN BENDER & THE PUERTO RICAN WRECKING CREW
The Clash, Ernie Ballz & Brian Bender, dominated tag team wrestling in PWO in 2009, but when an injury struck Ballz down, the team destructed. Both men began to take credit for the team’s success… Ballz blaming his ever-present confidence & strategizing, Bender giving credit to his natural athleticism and ability to carry out the plan. Since then, Ballz has taken to managing the young team of Ryan & Winters, though his Clash-like strategies haven’t been embraced by his new-found team. Meanwhile, Bender has recruited the very men who injured Ernie Ballz in the first place, Luis Diamante & Isaac Montana, The Puerto Rican Wrecking Crew, in order to help his cause. Which of these men can best lead a team? We shall find out August 1st as they both lead charges into battle!

PORTIA PEREZ vs. BEN FRUITH
Portia is an internationally-renowned women’s star and one of the most respected in her field. Though, after some lackluster success in PWO it seemed she began to lose her mind. Convinced she, as herself, couldn’t compete in PWO, she transformed herself into “Dr. Monstrous” a less-than convincing superhero alter-ego. Her opponent is Ben Fruith, PWO’s gullible loveable loser, who has been forced into this match by the Sons of Michigan in order to prove he can do just ONE thing without screwing it up. Ben has been the victim of abuse and torture since day one in PWO, and with his dubious “Fruith Roll-Up” maneuver, hopes to finally score a victory. What will happen if Ben Fruith actually wins? What will happen to him if he doesn’t?

“M-Dogg 20” Matt Cross’ Wrestlelution Tune-Up
Matt Cross is still in possession of Johnny Gargano’s PWO Title, and will have his chance to officially capture that title for the second time on August 1 at Wrestlelution 3, however it will be anything but easy against an irate, incensed, and insulted Johnny Gargano, whose life has been driven to misery for months thanks to Cross. This week, M-Dogg has scheduled a match he claims will help prepare him for his match with Johnny Gargano at Wrestlelution 3 and is against an elite athlete. Will M-Dogg be fully prepared for Johnny Gargano come August 1st, and how will he be focused on this match knowing that Gargano is in attendance?

Johnny Gargano Speaks Out
It has been a whirlwind of emotion for Johnny Gargano over the past 12 months. From his coming of age, to gaining the acceptance of fans & peers, to the mounting suspicion and doubt thrust upon him due to M-Dogg 20’s false allegations, and finally having the opportunity to clear his name and avenge the wrongdoings of his former friend Matt Cross. This week, Gargano unleashes all these months of emotion and lets us know what’s going through his mind two weeks away from the biggest match of his career. What’s in store for Matt Cross on August 1st? How far will Gargano go to retain his title and physically regain the title belt Cross has stolen? What state of mind has Johnny Gargano been put in?

Jason Bane Competes Under “Raven’s Rules”!
On August 1st at PWO Wrestlelution 3, Jason Bane must face his potential demise, as Aaron Maguire has pulled out all physical and financial stops to rid PWO of its most dominant man – Maguire has hired the services of the sadistic ECW original Raven to meet Bane at Wrestlelution 3 under “Raven’s Rules”, which means the match can have any rules Raven likes, which is normally no rules. This week, Bane tests himself by contesting his own challenge under “Raven’s Rules”. Who will oppose the near-300 pounder who is now in the best shape of his career? What final message will Aaron Maguire and Mr. Brinks send before Raven finally invades PWO on August 1st?

“Megastar” Marion Fontaine vs. Matthew Justice
Fontaine has spent months openly criticizing and lambasting PWO management for what he claims were idiotic decisions that nearly ruined his career. Fontaine has a chance to prove he is worthy of the main event status he claims he is, as on August 1st he battles the legendary “Hacksaw” Jim Duggan at PWO Wrestlelution 3! Before he reaches Wrestlelution however, Fontaine will have to do battle with young Matt Justice. Can Fontaine build momentum leading into the match of his career? Will “Hacksaw” Jim Duggan successfully beat some respect into Fontaine on August 1st?

Plus, comments leading into PWO Wrestlelution 3!

Sex Appeal, Bobby Shields & Bobby Beverly, are one week removed from a vicious and violent assault on Gregory Iron & Hobo Joe. But are they truly ready to face Iron & Hobo on August 1st in a No DQ PWO Tag Title Match?

“Omega” Aaron Draven has shown nothing means more to him than the PWO TV Title, and he has conquered so many things to prove it. But can he beat that which is nearly unbeatable? Omega discusses being up against a near two-year streak of being unpinned, a streak held by his opponent at PWO Wrestlelution 3, Michigan’s own “Big Bear” Benjamin Boone.

Krimson has final words for Super Hentai before they meet one-on-one. Can Hentai protect the next generation by ridding PWO of Krimson or will the evil continue to grow?

Michael “The Bomber” Façade has already united with Louis Lyndon & Flip Kendrick to injure Shiima Xion and fire a warning shot to Mickey & Marshall Gambino. Façade gives his final message leading into what is sure to be an unpredictable six-man tag!

Ernie Ballz and Brian Bender, former Clash teammates are both set to be in attendance. Will tensions flare in the quest to prove who was the true leader of the team?

All this and more this week on PWO TV, but don’t forget to see it all unfold live and join us at the Nautica Pavilion August 1st for PWO Wrestlelution 3!
