Scheduled airtimes for this week’s episode (all times Eastern Standard):

Sunday night, March 14 – 10:00 pm & 3:30 am
Thursday night, March 18 – 4:00 am

Scheduled line-up –

THE JOHNNY GARGANO/GREGORY IRON SUMMIT
Two weeks ago, PWO Champion Johnny Gargano and “Handicapped Hero” Gregory Iron found themselves as unlikely allies as they, along with Hobo Joe, were able to save one another from the gang warfare of Sex Appeal. When Gargano extended his hand to thank Iron for the help, Greg refused. We have been unable to procure an explanation from Greg for his actions, but one must think it is heavily influenced by the deeply personal and violent feud between Gargano and Iron in 2008, which nearly caused the end of Gregory Iron’s career and life (footage can be seen here – http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4XkUlToqvco). Gargano has requested that Greg sit down with him this Sunday night, and has invited our cameras to document this meeting, claiming he wants the whole world to see the vast change between the old Johnny Gargano and the Johnny Gargano of today. What will happen when Gregory Iron & Johnny Gargano meet face-to-face and address one another for the first time since their unforgettable rivalry and brutal Last Man Standing war? Will Johnny Gargano be able to convince Gregory Iron he is a new man or are some things simply unforgivable?

PWO TV TITLE: AMAZING N8 MATTSON vs. OMEGA AARON DRAVEN
Representing “The Sons of Michigan”, Amazing N8 defeated Omega to capture the TV Title some weeks ago, and along with “Big Bear” Benjamin Boone has been on a very impressive role. Omega has requested, and been granted, a rematch for the championship that was once his. Draven has been behaving increasingly… bizarre in recent times, as his interview and personalities have become almost as unpredictable as his in-ring style. Can Omega hold everything together long enough to re-capture the TV Title? Or will Michigan reign supreme once more in the TV Title division?

BOBBY BEVERLY vs. BEN FRUITH
An angry Bobby Beverly sees his first singles match since losing his PWO Championship match against Johnny Gargano, thanks in large part to Gregory Iron & Hobo Joe thwarting the illegal numbers advantage of Sex Appeal. Beverly intends to take out this frustration on PWO’s gullible loveable loser Ben Fruith, who has battled quite the losing streak against a tough string of opponents to say the least. Word has it, Beverly also intends on addressing Gregory Iron personally. How will the escalating rivalry of Beverly vs. Iron effect this match-up, and can Ben Fruith and the Fruith Roll Up finally find success?

BRIAN BENDER vs. ISAAC MONTANA
A couple of months ago, Isaac Montana & Luis Diamante, The Puerto Rican Wrecking Crew, made their PWO debuts by making an impact, as they immediately attacked and injured Ernie Ballz of the Clash, as a pre-emptive strike to prevent the same happening to them, which The Clash had become notorious for. Since that night, and the loss of their PWO Tag Titles to Sex Appeal, The Clash have not spoken a word to one another, and Ernie Ballz has been absent. Brian Bender has now pointed the blame for the disintegration of The Clash squarely on the Wrecking Crew, and challenged one of them to a singles match. Can Brian Bender avenge what he feels is the reason for The Clash’s demise and prepare for life after Ernie Ballz? Or can the ambassador of Puerto Rico lead Isaac Montana to his first PWO singles victory?

Plus: Michael “The Bomber” Façade, Krimson, a closer examination of Gargano vs. Iron history, and more!

SIGNED MATCHES…

ALL WEEKEND LONG – 8 MAN SINGLE ELIMINATION #1 CONTENDER TOURNAMENT
Over the past several months, countless individuals have stepped forward and laid claim to the spot of #1 contender for the PWO Championship and currently titleholder Johnny Gargano. Gargano has done his best to handle this mounting pressure, though it is clear the stress involved in being such a marked man would be enough to lead anyone to the breaking point. However, PWO management has selected the 8 men deemed most worthy to challenge for the PWO Championship and has placed them in a weekend-long single elimination tournament, with the winner to challenge Gargano in our final Live TV Taping of the weekend on Sunday afternoon. The first round matches and tournament brackets are as follows -

“M-Dogg 20” Matt Cross vs. “Megastar” Marion Fontaine
Cross attempts to earn the title shot promised to him by Gargano last fall, while Fontaine looks to avenge months of alleged repression by PWO management.

“Big Bear” Benjamin Boone vs. Michael “The Bomber” Façade
Boone is unpinned in over a year as a “Son of Michigan”, while Façade took Gargano to his limit in a recent non-title outing

“Amazing” N8 Mattson vs. TBA
Mattson has momentum as TV Champion, but the disadvantage of not knowing his opponent until the weekend comes!

“PWO’s Most Dominant Man” Jason Bane vs. Sex Appeal’s Bobby Beverly
Bane looks to overcome an evil agent’s malicious bounty and use it as motivation to go to the very top, while Beverly looks to add to his current Tag Title, and possible collect a bounty in the process.

Plus: The Semifinal and Final rounds!

FRIDAY: LADDER MATCH FOR #1 TV TITLE CONTENDER – OMEGA AARON DRAVEN vs. MICHAEL “THE BOMBER” FAÇADE vs. MATTHEW JUSTICE
Three of PWO’s thrill-seeking daredevils do battle to earn a shot at PWO TV Champ N8 Mattson. Justice & Façade have taken each other to the limit before in a wild altercation, and have earned mutual respect for one another, but its all out the window with a title shot at stake. Aaron Draven was PWO’s first TV champ and craves one more shot to recapture the belt from the man who defeated him twice. Which man will not just win, but survive?

SATURDAY: 20-MAN GAUNTLET MATCH
Its one of the most beloved and unpredictable matches in wrestling. Two men start the match, and at equally timed intervals another joins the fray until all 20 have entered the match. Elimination occurs when a wrestler is thrown over the top rope and both feet hit the floor. PWO’s biggest and best will all be entered. Who will be the last one standing?

SATURDAY: BONUS HARDCORE RULES MATCH – WILL NOT AIR ON PWO TV!
As a special added attraction late into our Saturday night tapings, we will present a special no-rules anything-goes hardcore rules match exclusively for those fans in attendance that evening! Due to the risk of violence, this match will NOT be shown on PWO TV and the only way to catch it is to be there live! Comes as you want, bring what you want, wear what you want!

SUNDAY: PWO CHAMPIONSHIP: JOHNNY GARGANO vs. TOURNAMENT WINNER
If Johnny Gargano can make it to March 21 as PWO Champion, he will defend the top prize in Pro Wrestling Ohio against whomever is victorious in the PWO Title tournament. With 8 very different, very diverse, and very determined athletes to train and prepare for at once, can Gargano possibly have the focus necessary to overcome whomever his opposition may be? Gargano’s greatest test as champion is undoubtedly coming March 21.

PLUS: Throughout the weekend, see all the rest of your favorite PWO stars, in addition to the names listed above, including PWO Tag Champions Bobby Shields, Nicki Valentino, and Dawn Decadence of Sex Appeal, “Handicapped Hero” Gregory Iron, “Dumpster Dweller” Hobo Joe, the evil and demonic Krimson, The Puerto Rican Wrecking Crew, Eric Ryan & Corey Winters, Ben Fruith, Brian Bender, the PWO returns of Super Hentai, Shiima Xion, and Portia Perez, and the official PWO debuts of Louis Lyndon & Flip Kendrick, collectively known as Aeroform! Plus MORE!

PWO TV – Gargano vs. Facade & More – 3/07/10

Scheduled airtimes for this week’s episode (all times Eastern Standard):

Sunday night, March 7 – 10:00 pm & 3:30 am
Thursday night, March 11 – 4:00 am

Scheduled line-up:

PWO CHAMPION JOHNNY GARGANO BATTLES MICHAEL “THE BOMBER” FAÇADE
Just days removed from successfully defending the PWO Title against Bobby Beverly, Gargano once again refuses no challenges, this time in the form of the man that combined the discipline of the martial arts with the recklessness of life on the streets, graffiti artist extraordinaire Michael “The Bomber” Façade, fresh off of winning a wild four-way match involving internationally-renowned competitors. It hasn’t been long since Façade made his PWO return, thusly officials have not granted him a title shot yet, however Gargano was more than happy to accept a non-title match in order to test his skills against someone who brings an entirely different style and dynamic to the table. Add this in to a rapidly growing list of title contenders Gargano must worry about, and also a tense moment with ex-rival Gregory Iron this past week where Iron refused to shake Gargano’s hand, and one must question the state of mind of the PWO Champion. Can Façade catch Gargano off his game and score a career-making win? Or can the champion continue to find a way to pull through and not be detracted by a constantly growing level of adversity?

PWO TAG TITLES: SEX APPEAL DEFEND AGAINST PUERTO RICAN WRECKING CREW
The Puerto Rican Wrecking Crew, Luis Diamante & Isaac Montana, thought they had a tag title shot all to themselves two months ago. That is, until Sex Appeal used threats and legal loopholes to sneak into that title match and escape as new PWO Tag Team Champions. The Wrecking Crew were understandably upset, and were granted this title opportunity as a chance to extract revenge. Sex Appeal, meanwhile, have continued to use legal loopholes to institute “The Freebird Rule”, meaning any two of the three members of Sex Appeal (or even manager Dawn Decadence) could legally defend the PWO Tag Titles in a sanctioned title defense. What combination of Bobby Shields, Bobby Beverly, and Nicki Valentino will see action this week? Will The Puerto Rican Wrecking Crew, along with their manager The Ambassador, be able to win tag gold for the entire Latin American community or will Sex Appeal continue their roll?

GREGORY IRON & HOBO JOE vs. ERIC RYAN & COREY WINTERS
Iron & Hobo, the “Handicapped Hero” and “Dumpster Dweller” have united with the common goal of defeating and humiliating Sex Appeal and taking their tag team titles to avenge countless past wrongdoings by the superficial super group, however before they can achieve their goal they must earn their way to a title opportunity. Iron & Hobo defeated the young tandem of Ryan & Winters a few weeks ago, but the duo requested a return bout to redeem their loss, claiming they’ve found the “missing piece to the puzzle”. What is it exactly? Will it be successful? Can Gregory Iron & Hobo Joe continue to build momentum? Will Hobo Joe be able to put aside his trust issues after being betrayed by so many former friends to trust Greg and embrace him as a true tag team partner?

BEN FRUITH vs. “BIG BEAR” BENJAMIN BOONE
Ben Fruith’s punishment continues. With Mike Tolar not even in attendance to watch his would-be protégé get slaughtered on a regular basis, the cold and callous treatment of PWO’s gullible loveable loser only continues to worsen. Benjamin Boone has not been pinned since aligning with N8 Mattson, a streak that has now lasted one entire year. This 275 lb. animal with a message to send to all of PWO’s top stars, namely Jason Bane and Johnny Gargano, will no doubt have ample chance to make a statement here. Can Ben Fruith and the Fruith Roll Up save him from disaster? Or will he be devoured by the Big Bear?

PLUS: Jason Bane will be in attendance, we hear comments from ex-Clash member Brian Bender, a look back at Marion Fontaine’s recent meltdown and much more!

PWO Special Report – Gargano/Iron Tension

Posted: March 2, 2010

This past Sunday night on PWO Television, we saw Johnny Gargano successfully defend the PWO Championship against Sex Appeal’s Bobby Beverly, however there was an unlikely assistance to that victory. Once fellow Sex Appeal members Bobby Shields & Nicki Valentino appeared on the scene to attempt to finish Gargano’s championship reign once and for all and help crown Bobby Beverly new PWO Champion, we saw the newly-formed tag team of Gregory Iron and Hobo Joe appear to thwart Sex Appeal’s goals as part of a months-long saga between those two teams that only continues to escalate. Once Gargano had recovered enough to pin Beverly, and Sex Appeal were chased from the area, we saw Gargano, Iron, and Hobo standing triumphant mid-ring. After Gargano shook Hobo’s hand and thanked him for the help, the tension began to build as we all realized the sight before us, as Johnny Gargano and Gregory Iron met face-to-face in a PWO ring for the first time in nearly two years since their barbaric Last Man Standing battle at the inaugural PWO Wrestlelution supercard. Gargano, who has spent the past several months attempting to turn over a new leaf, prove he’s a changed man from prior years, to entertain fans and defend the PWO Championship with the credibility and prestige it deserves, extended his hand to Iron as well as a token of thanks. Iron, clearly torn and emotionally distraught, simply turned his back and walked away, refusing to shake the champion’s hand.

But why did PWO’s “Handicapped Hero” behave in such a way? To understand the present, it is important to re-visit the past.

It was the very first episode of PWO TV in the fall of 2007, where Johnny Gargano, young, cocky, and full of limitless potential, was cleanly defeated by a young and ambitious Gregory Iron, whom at the time was looked at as nothing more than second-class enhancement talent. The loss to someone whom Gargano perceived to be “beneath” him set off a chain reaction of insecurity, jealousy, and rage, spiraling out of control when Gargano committed what is still known to be the most heinous and violent act in PWO history, when he savagely attacked Iron, severely jeopardizing not only Iron’s career, but also his life by giving him his second serious concussion inside of a six month period.

Footage of this assault can be seen below, however we caution viewer discretion is advised.
YouTube Preview Image
Following that incident, Gregory Iron made an inspirational recovery, risking the career he had worked his entire life to achieve to battle Gargano in a “Last Man Standing” battle at Wrestlelution. While Gargano ended up winning the match, it was Iron who scored perhaps the more important moral victory, by standing up and leaving under his own power, proving that no man could destroy his dream.

Fast-forward to nearly two years later and both men have changed dramatically. Gargano has realized his potential and risen to become champion. Iron has become among the most tenacious, respected, and resilient competitors in all of PWO. Yet, this past week each man found themselves in the all too familiar situation of standing across the ring from one another.

Sources close to the situation say Gargano was noticeably distraught and frustrated after PWO went off the air, upset that Gregory Iron refused to shake his hand. It appears that Gargano is trying to put his past behind him, but with the violent and ultra-personal history Gargano & Iron have, is it possible here? Gargano plans to address this issue in the coming weeks, and has given our cameras permission to document it, as Johnny intends to show the whole world his true intentions. Gregory Iron could not be reached for immediate comment, and all calls and text messages have been unanswered.

Can Johnny Gargano repair and reverse what critics consider to be the biggest mistake of his career? Gregory Iron is an amazing human being and constant humanitarian, but can he find it in his heart to forgive that which nearly ended everything he holds dear? Stay posted to PWO TV and Online for further updates.

Scheduled line-up –

PWO CHAMPIONSHIP: JOHNNY GARGANO DEFENDS AGAINST BOBBY BEVERLY
PWO Heavyweight Champion Johnny Gargano has been a man at odds, facing challenges for an increasing amount of individuals. In recent times, men like Mike Tolar, Jimmy DeMarco, Benjamin Boone, and N8 Mattson have lobbied for opportunities, former champion “M-Dogg 20” Matt Cross was promised a shot by Gargano as well, and a week ago “Megastar” Marion Fontaine became PWO’s newest breakout star by upsetting Cross to attain the right to challenge the winner of this week’s battle between Gargano and arguably the most prominent member of Sex Appeal, Bobby Beverly. Beverly is oozing with confidence, claiming he is younger, cockier, more confident and sexier than Gargano is and will become the first dual-champion in PWO history, adding the PWO Championship to his current status as a co-holder of the PWO Tag Team Titles. Beverly has sent messages lately through Gregory Iron & Hobo Joe, who have been the victims of many a recent Sex Appeal attack. Gargano however, is undeterred, and vows to take this fight head on and continue to prove himself worthy of being champion and right all his previous wrongs. Will the PWO Title scene receive a sexy makeover or can Johnny Gargano overcome the terribly tattooed tag titleholder?

CWE CHAMPIONSHIP: MICHAEL “THE BOMBER” FAÇADE vs. SHIIMA XION vs. JIGSAW vs. HALLOWICKED
Our friends from the Youngstown-based Championship Wrestling Experience present to you our SECOND heavyweight title bout, as PWO star, and CWE Undisputed Champion, the “Suburban Terrorist” Michael Façade heads into an international incident against three unique challengers. Shiima Xion, an-ex Filipino supermodel, who now competes all over the U.S., Mexico, and Japan makes his return to PWO TV after an absence of over one year to challenge for this prestigious title. In addition, the “Wrestling Riddle” Jigsaw and Hallowicked, both famous for competing in the CHIKARA Pro Wrestling organization, round out this field of four to bring to you perhaps the four most diverse personalities ever put together on PWO TV. Can Façade further his success in CWE and PWO with a victory here or can one of three worldly challengers unseat The Bomber?

KRIMSON vs. BEN FRUITH
Over the past several weeks, we have watched on as several unsettling, dark, and disturbing clips of a man simply known as “Krimson” have appeared on PWO TV. Once known as Conrad Kennedy III, years of the rigors of the professional wrestling business, and a few bad breaks, have driven this once well-adjusted man to the edge and beyond, and what is left is the personification of a dark and frightening side that exists inside us all, unleashed onto everyone in PWO. It is the goal of Krimson to make everyone in PWO feel the same physical pain that he has felt mentally and psychologically for so many years. Meanwhile, the alleged “tough love” from Mike Tolar towards Ben Fruith continues as the gullible, loveable loser was placed into this match against this borderline-psychopath. Is there any hope for the alleged master of the “Fruith Roll Up” or will Krimson’s trail of victims begin this Sunday night?

Plus: Comments from “The Sons of Michigan” – PWO TV Champion “Amazing N8” Mattson & “Big Bear” Benjamin Boone; comments from PWO’s Most Dominant Man Jason Bane; and both “Megastar” Marion Fontaine and “M-Dogg 20” Matt Cross plan on being in attendance!

JOHNNY GARGANO UNDER PRESSURE?
YouTube Preview Image

Days before his title defense against Bobby Beverly THIS Sunday night at 10:00 on PWO TV on Sports Time Ohio, “The Whole Shebang” Johnny Gargano discusses the mounting stresses of being champion, including the pending challenge of Bobby Beverly, the title shot promised to M-Dogg 20 Matt Cross, and a number of other contenders currently chasing a shot at the crown. Is Johnny Gargano becoming overwhelmed? Or can he balance his priorities and continue writing the wrongs and being a champion to be proud of?

PWO TV TITLE – OMEGA AARON DRAVEN DEFENDS AGAINST “AMAZING” N8 MATTSON
Omega has lived up to his word and been a TV champion we can be proud of ever since returning from injury late last year, even though his behavior and personality has become a bit… odd. Even still, Draven continues to fight on. “Amazing” N8 became a top TV Title contender a few months ago and the Detroit-native vowed to never return to an inferior state like Ohio again until he received the shot he rightfully deserved. True to his nature, Draven was happy to take on the challenge, and the match was officially signed. Will Aaron Draven prove once again, in his words, “orange is the new gold” and retain the championship or can the leader of the self-professed “Sons of Michigan” prove what he has been stating all along – that the best wrestler on television in Ohio is from Michigan?

SIT-DOWN WITH JOHNNY GARGANO
Vic Travagliante sits down with PWO Champion Johnny Gargano to discuss a number of issues including his thoughts so far on being champion, his title defense in two weeks against Bobby Beverly, the rapidly growing list of potential contenders including “M-Dogg 20” Matt Cross, and so much more! Gargano always speaks his mind and you never know what he’ll say next. He is all about competition and entertaining and you’ll hear from him this week!

GREGORY IRON & HOBO JOE vs. ERIC RYAN & COREY WINTERS
PWO’s Crippled Crusader & PWO’s Dumpster Dweller have more in common than may appear on the surface – they both have had to overcome much adversity, a lot of bad luck, and have been overlooked by many throughout their lifetimes, but always seem to fight on and win respect the hard way. Now, Greg & Hobo have a common enemy in Sex Appeal, the current PWO Tag Champs. Sex Appeal consider both too ugly to appear on the same TV program as them, and blame Greg for the injury that knocked out two of Bobby Beverly’s teeth last summer. It seems Iron & Hobo are looking to form a tag team to potentially combat their narcissistic nemeses in the not too distant future. Can Hobo & Iron start this tag team off right against the young and very hungry Eric Ryan & Corey Winters, who hold a win over Hobo & his last experimental tag partner Jason Bane? Which of these teams will send a message to the PWO tag team scene?

CWE PRESENTS CHIKARA STAR LINCE DORADO vs. RYAN MITCHELL
Our friends and affiliates at the Championship Wrestling Experience bring us another special attraction this week as we take a look at the Golden Lynx of professional wrestling – young Lince Dorado. Lince is a product of the northeastern-based Chikara promotion and dazzles audiences with an amazing combination of domestic, international, and high-flying styles. Dorado will do battle with Ryan Mitchell, who calls himself “The Steel City Prodigy” and is accompanied by the vivacious Krystal Frost, no stranger to long time viewers of STO. Who will come out victorious in this clash of very differing styles and personalities?

PWO REWIND: MARION’S MELTDOWN OVER FONTAINE’S FREAKS
Last week, “Megastar” Marion Fontaine was set to challenge Sex Appeal for the PWO Tag Titles until reasons unknown led to Fontaine’s partner, Noj the Wild Samoan, being absent. There had been issues in the past stemming from Fontaine’s anger over Noj returning to his native disaster-stricken Samoa to help his family several months ago, and this seemed to be the proverbial last straw. We’ll take you back and show you Marion Fontaine’s attempt to fight on, and his controversial and emotional post-match diatribe that is not to be missed.

UPDATE ON THE CLASH
When last we saw The Clash, Ernie Ballz was confined to crutches, Brian Bender had just lost the PWO Tag Titles, and the two were bickering relentlessly in the back. Last week on TV, we saw Brian Bender in singles action. What is the current status of the team? Brian Bender is scheduled to join us to shed some light on the issue.

ANOTHER DISTURBING VIDEO FROM KRIMSON
More footage has surfaced of this dark, almost demonic being, the visual representation of the hate and loathing inside the mind of the man once known as Conrad Kennedy III. What will Krimson say this time and what are his true intentions in PWO?

All this plus M-Dogg 20 Matt Cross will be in the house!

Final Card Set For PWO’s 1/24/10 Mega-Show

Posted: January 18, 2010

Pro Wrestling Ohio is hitting the road! PWO debuts in suburban Youngstown with a special Sunday, January 24 live event at the Eastwood Expo Center in Niles, 5555 Youngstown Warren Rd Niles, OH 44446. This event will have a very special and noteworthy 5:00 pm belltime, and will feature a number of special attractions! This event is presented to you by Pro Wrestling Ohio, in association with our friends at the Championship Wrestling Experience. PWO has announced its first matches for what will go down as the most diverse, action-packed, and loaded card in PWO history! This WILL be a TV taping for PWO TV on Sports Time Ohio, so bring your signs, be enthusiastic, and be ready to be seen on nationwide television!

PWO CHAMPIONSHIP: JOHNNY GARGANO DEFENDS AGAINST BOBBY BEVERLY
The line of challengers to Johnny Gargano’s PWO Title is growing longer and longer as time goes on. We saw Beverly, perhaps the most arrogant and outspoken member of the controversial group Sex Appeal, publicly confront Gargano recently on television, going as far as to barge in and ruin a scheduled Gargano interview (as seen here – http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1YagTH4pr6Y). Beverly made his intentions known to replace Johnny as the next hot, young star to rise to the top of Pro Wrestling Ohio. Gargano, ever one to think on his feet and do his best to not only entertain himself, but now his fans as well, was quick to turn the tables on Beverly and his charge Nicki Valentino, by playing upon their vain personalities and physical insecurities. However, despite Beverly’s cosmetic sensitivity, one thing made clear is he has truly come into his own as a dangerous force in PWO, as both a singles and tag team wrestler, as evidenced by his recent domination of both Gregory Iron and Hobo Joe in recent matches. Despite an enraged Iron still pursuing Beverly after the beating he received from Sex Appeal a number of weeks ago, Beverly has put his focus on Gargano and the PWO Championship. Gargano has been a courageous champion, but will he be able to stop the roll Beverly has been on? Can Johnny Gargano successfully defend his title, or can Bobby Beverly cement himself as one of PWO’s elite with a title victory?

#1 CONTENDER’S MATCH: “M-DOGG 20” MATT CROSS vs. JIMMY DEMARCO
On the growing list of men who have set their sights on the PWO Championship, the two names that stand out the most are Matt Cross and Jimmy DeMarco. Cross has still not received a title match since being screwed out of the PWO Title by Josh Prohibition last spring. Cross and Gargano have mutually agreed to a championship match with one another, and with Gargano’s schedule quickly filling up with contenders, Cross can guarantee himself as next in line with a victory here. DeMarco made his shocking and impactful PWO return recently, sneaking into the arena under a mask, interrupting a PWO Championship match and assaulting our champion (footage of which can be seen here – http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zz9GxkUgEB0 with DeMarco‘s explanation here – http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZmmNovrrhFY). DeMarco also attacked Matt Cross earlier in the night, showing that his intentions are clearly to target PWO’s most popular and most successful athletes, and to capture the PWO Championship. The winner of this match will face Gargano when PWO returns to Cleveland on February 20. Can the sinister and diabolical DeMarco defeat the man many still claim as PWO’s rightful champion, and inch himself closer to PWO’s top prize? Or can M-Dogg 20 finally seal the deal and receive the title shot many have felt he’s deserved for months?

“GREATEST THING GOING TODAY” MIKE TOLAR vs. MATTHEW JUSTICE
The Kent State University All-American has been said to be in a very unstable and ornery state of mind since being unsuccessful in his latest PWO title opportunity. While Tolar unfairly placed blame the first time around on his hapless lackey Ben Fruith, this time around Tolar’s downfall is more closely related to the return of the unpredictable Jimmy DeMarco. However, despite the facts and results of these recent encounters, Tolar has been overheard calling himself “PWO’s True Heavyweight Champion” and “The Greatest Champion Going Today”. While that may not be official, Tolar can keep himself in the growing list of names contending for a PWO Title shot with a victory over Matthew Justice. Justice has shown amazing perseverance and tenacity in recent months, competing in adrenaline-fueled matches with the likes of M-Dogg 20 Matt Cross and Michael “The Bomber” Façade, but Tolar is an entirely different style to prepare for. Can the high-flying Justice adjust to the collegiate champion or can Mike Tolar live up to his own self-perception and get back on the winning track?

PWO TV TITLE: OMEGA AARON DRAVEN vs. THE RETURNING N8 MATTSON!
A number of weeks ago, Aaron Draven’s unwavering guts and perseverance were forcibly put on the sidelines by PWO doctors, forcing the reshuffling of a number of PWO title defenses scheduled for the orange-tinted titleholder. In protest, “Amazing” N8 Mattson refused to appear at PWO events or television broadcasts, or even leave his home-state of Michigan for any reason, until granted the title opportunity he feels he rightfully deserves. This past weekend on television, Draven delivered a unique and colorful challenge to Mattson, showing he will not back down from the overbearing elitist. Will Omega overcome another difficult test or can N8 Mattson succeed in providing the ultimate bragging right for himself, and disappointment for everyone else – to prove that the best wrestler in Ohio is indeed from Michigan.

COLOSSAL REMATCH: JASON BANE vs. BENJAMIN BOONE
A few weeks ago on television, “Big Bear” Benjamin Boone became among the first to attempt to collect the $10,000 bounty placed on Bane’s head by Aaron Maguire, but was certainly far from the only man to attempt it. Boone went in to the match without the guidance of mentor N8 Mattson, who was still at home in protest of PWO management. However, with Mattson back in the fold, word has it that it was Mattson who instructed Boone to formally challenger PWO’s Most Dominant Man once again. What are the intentions and plans of the Michigan elite? Will they rid PWO of Jason Bane and become ten grand richer? Will anyone else attempt to collect as well? Can Jason Bane, now in the best shape of his life and more motivated than ever, survive or is he simply living on borrowed time?

PWO TAG TEAM TITLES: SEX APPEAL vs. MARION FONTAINE/NOJ THE WILD SAMOAN
Sex Appeal have used legal loopholes to find success as of late, not only allowing them to win the PWO Tag Titles, but also to institute a stipulation that ANY two members of Sex Appeal can defend the titles at any given time. Due to Bobby Beverly focusing on the PWO Heavyweight Title, it will be “True Talent” Bobby Shields & “Late Nite” Nicki Valentino in action here. Can Sex Appeal have the same success in the ring that they have had in manipulating management? Meanwhile, Marion Fontaine & Noj the Wild Samoan have, according to all reports, not been on speaking terms for months. We now know Noj had to return home to his native Samoa last fall to help his family & friends rebuild and recover after a devastating earthquake & tsunami struck the island, and it seemed Marion Fontaine felt slighted over the fact his friend didn’t forego his loved ones to stay in the U.S. to help Fontaine during his matches. Could a tag title win mend their broken fences or will this be the last stand of the loveable eccentric Fontaine’s Freaks?

GREGORY IRON & HOBO JOE vs. ERIC RYAN & COREY WINTERS
Long-time friends Gregory Iron & Hobo Joe have recently found themselves on the same side and in the same situation – targets of the Sex Appeal group because they are looked at as beneath the likes of the “beautiful people” of the world, not to mention the fact that Beverly has had it out for Iron ever since Beverly lost two of his teeth last summer, an incident he unfairly blames Iron for. PWO’s “Handicapped Hero” has not backed down however as, after a physical attack by the entire group, Greg returned weeks later ready to fight. Hobo has been a target of the group since day one, and still has resentment toward one-time friend & tag partner Beverly. Iron & Hobo have a clear goal – form a successful tag team and take the two things Sex Appeal value most – their looks and their titles! Can they complete step one with a win over the hungry young tandem of Ryan & Winters?

KRIMSON MAKES HIS PWO IN-RING DEBUT
Recently on PWO TV, we were unsuspectingly subjected to a very uncomfortable and unsettling piece of video footage, of a man formerly known as Conrad Kennedy III, but has seemingly been pushed over the edge after years of personal and professional sacrifice. It seems now the man now known as Krimson is intent on taking his inner pain and torment and turning it into pain and torment inflicted on the stars of PWO. PWO management has invited Krimson to appear live on January 24 and compete in his first official PWO match. How will this very bizarre entity perform inside the ring? What sort of message will he send? And what are his intentions in PWO?

So many issues and altercations will come to a head this weekend, and we at PWO have added three new videos online, via our account at YouTube, to help set the stage for another monumental live event.

Bobby Beverly Confronts Johnny Gargano

On the January 3, 2010 episode of PWO TV, Johnny Gargano was set to discuss an upcoming title match against Mike Tolar, when he was interrupted unexpectedly by the self-proclaimed sexiest man in PWO, Bobby Beverly. Along with fellow Sex Appeal members Dawn Decadence & Nicki Valentino, Beverly made his intentions clear to add his name to an ever-growing list of hungry and worthy contenders for Gargano’s PWO Championship. However, Pro Wrestling Ohio’s “Whole Shebang” had a unique response of his own, and sent Sex Appeal’s superficial insecurities into overdrive.

Beverly competes in the biggest match of his career THIS Sunday afternoon in Niles when he challenges Johnny Gargano for the PWO Championship. Can the newly-crowned tag champion Beverly become Pro Wrestling Ohio’s first dual champion and also prove himself as the next rising young star and successor to Gargano’s throne? Or can “The Whole Shebang” turn away another worthy challenge from a rapidly growing list of contenders?

Jimmy DeMarco – No Dreams, Only Motives

Jimmy DeMarco made his return to Pro Wrestling Ohio after a six month absence, sneaking into the building disguised under a mask, and attacking two of PWO’s elite stars – “M-Dogg 20″ Matt Cross and PWO Heavyweight Champion Johnny Gargano. This random act of violence only served to raise questions – Why M-Dogg? Why Gargano? And why now? On the January 17, 2010 episode of PWO TV, we got a sneak peak into the psyche and thought process of Jimmy DeMarco.

DeMarco’s treacherous path to the PWO Championship could begin this Sunday, as he battles “M-Dogg 20” Matt Cross in a #1 Contender’s Match. Will Cross officially become next in line to the title he was screwed out of nine months ago or will Jimmy DeMarco get his opportunity to make PWO’s biggest stars, and all of their fans, suffer?

Krimson’s Second Chilling Message

Two weeks after first interrupting Pro Wrestling Ohio programming, the man now known only as Krimson made his presence known once more on the January 17, 2010 episode of PWO TV, and once again issued an ominous and dark warning of the misery and inner turmoil that he appears ready to unleash onto everyone in Pro Wrestling Ohio. After ten years of tireless work and sacrifice, it seems something inside this once-outgoing and successful man has snapped. What does the future hold for Krimson in PWO?

Krimson’s first opportunity to unleash his menacing mind games is this Sunday, as Krimson makes his PWO in-ring debut. What can we expect from someone clearly so vengeful and sinister? Krimson feels the wrestling business has done nothing but tease him, torment him, and alter his mind. Is this Sunday in Youngstown the day that Krimson turns the tables?

PWO News: Sex Appeal Win Tag-Team Titles

Posted: January 18, 2010

Shocking developments courtesy of this past weekend’s episode of PWO TV, as the scheduled tag title match pitting The Clash defending the crown against The Puerto Rican Wrecking Crew was interrupted and turned upside down by the members of Sex Appeal, who used cheap boardroom tactics and behind-the-scenes politics to get exactly what they wanted.

The incident began when Bobby Shields raised a formal protest against PWO for postponing a scheduled match which would see Shields challenge Aaron Draven for the PWO Television Championship. The match was delayed due to a Draven injury, but Shields felt that was unfair to him, and that the contract of that title match was not honored. As a result, Sex Appeal’s personal attorney Chris Kenny threatened PWO with a breach of contract lawsuit unless Sex Appeal were given an additional title shot of some kind. Because of that, Bobby Shields & Bobby Beverly were allowed entry into our tag team title match, ultimately securing the victory and the championships. However, Sex Appeal’s greed and over-inflated sense of self-worth did not stop there as, despite already getting what they wanted, they kept asking for more and more.

Sex Appeal’s personal attorney was once again in the PWO offices all Monday morning, nagging and bothering and pestering management for hours on end with his litigious lecturing. The attorney claimed that since it was “Sex Appeal” as a group that was granted the title shot officially in writing, and not any two specific members of the group, that ANY two members of the group could be allowed to defend the PWO Tag Titles at any given time, NOT just Beverly & Shields. PWO officials were leery of this line of thought, but after more legal jargon, including a video camera & legal flashcards, management finally gave in to the request to avoid further costly legal action.

As a result, with Bobby Beverly competing for the PWO Heavyweight Title this Sunday, it has been signed as Bobby Shields & Nicki Valentino to be defending the gold against the very questionable tag team of Marion Fontaine & Noj the Wild Samoan, who have experienced significant problems behind the scenes as of late. Can Sex Appeal succeed with this formula, following in the footsteps of legendary tag teams such as The Fabulous Freebirds and Demolition who have done the same? Or can the last semblances of “Fontaine’s Freaks” score their biggest win yet for society’s overlooked? We will find out when this match takes place THIS Sunday afternoon in Niles (suburban Youngstown), Ohio at the Eastwood Expo Center!
