Hello, Columbus! Our next show is going to be historic and you will want to be there as PWA crowns the first PWA Heavyweight Champion! Contenders for this belt will include JT Hogg, Joe Joe Little, “The Black Superman” Onyx, Deacon Knight, and M.E. Howerton in a tournament battling it out to be the first to hold the belt!
Also, in our X-Pride division, a three way elimination match will determine whether “The Sensation of the Nation” Ricky Stonerock can successfully defend his X-Pride Championship against his challengers Otto Von Boggiemeister and Mike “The Filthy Animal” Dodge! After Stonerock’s controversial victory at our last show, Dodge is ready for revenge and to take the X-Pride Championship as his own. However, Stonerock has also made an enemy out of Otto Von Boggiemeister, who has rightfully earned his number one contenders spot for the championship.
The PWA will also have a special tag team match-up where Rouge and Raptor will take on The Black and Blue Crew in a First Blood Match!
It all happens Friday, July 10th at 3535 Westerville Road at Amvets Post 89 in Columbus, OH. Bell time is 7:30 PM, with the doors opening at 7:00.

Pride Wrestling Alliance presented their first outdoor show on June 5, 2009 in Columbus, OH. If you weren’t there, here’s what went down…
In the opening match, Otto von Boogiemester defeated Deacon Knight to receive a shot at the X-Pride title on July 10.
Rogue and Raptor defeated Evan Daniels and Nick Abbott. The winners of this match will go on to face the winners of….
The Black and Blue Crue made their PWA debut by destroying Scott Storm and Skotty V. After the match, there was a confrontation between the Black and Blues and the Legends.
Onyx and Joe Joe Little defeated the team of M.E. Howerton and Chris Cruitt.
After the intermission, PWA comissioner Ron Gamble informed the crowd that the first heavyweight champion would be crowned July 10. This brought out Kaden Assad’s “advocate” to let the people know that Kaden would be entered in the tournament. Out came Joe Joe Little and the two had words until David Lanning and JT Hogg came out for Hogg’s match. However, Hogg’s scheduled opponent did not appear so he wound up defeating Joe Joe in an impromptu bout.
Rogue and Raptor vs. the Black and Blue Crue was a no contest. A first blood match has been set for July 10th.
Super Oprah defeated Rick Ramsey.
In the main event, the PWA X-Pride Champion Ricky Lee Stonerock defeated “the filthy animal” Mike Dodge. This was a 2 out of 3 falls contest. Dodge took the first fall by pin
. Stonerock hit Dodge with an illegal object and won the second fall. As the bell rang for the time to expire on the third fall, Dodge had Stonerock covered, but the ref only got to 2. Stonerock and Lanning began to leave but were met by the commissioner who told them “sudden death”. Stonerock pinned Dodge by holding onto Lanning’s hands outside the ring.

Over 150 fans turned out for the Corey Kissling Memorial Show in Logan, Ohio Saturday, September 27, 2008. PWA would like to thank the wrestlers, fans, and especially the Kissling family for making the show a great success.
The first match of the night was an over the top rope Battle Royal which included several top Indy wrestlers, eventually turning into a one-on-one match with “Rockstar” Jerry Bishop and Otto Von Boogiemeister. Bishop defeated Von Boogiemeister to win the inaugural Clash For Corey award.
Ricky Lee Stonerock vs. Endo-tainment
Stonerock used the ropes for leverage to pin Endo.
Draven & Ryan Phoenix vs. Bryce Bennett & Brian Biggs vs. Jason & Jordan Rose w/ JJ Blaze vs. Rogue & Raptor w/ David Lanning vs. “Rockstar” Jerry Bishop & Otto Von Boogiemeister
The third match of the evening was a tag team turmoil. Rogue & Raptor appeared to have the match won after last eliminating the Rose brothers. JJ Blaze then got into a confrontation with David Lanning, which then prompted Lanning to lay Blaze out with a clothesline; this brought out PWA commissioner Ron Gamble, who said that Rogue & Raptor weren’t finished yet, and proceeded to bring out the young team of Trace Matthews & Stryder. They put up a bit of offense, but in the end were eventually overwhelmed by the Legends of Darkness.
“Live Wire” Aaron LaRusso vs. Deacon Knight w/ Mr. Secoy
LaRusso pinned Deacon Knight after reversing a flying body press from the top rope.
M.E. Howerton vs. “Shooting Star” Matt Taylor
AWA Shooting Star Champion M.E. Howerton vs. IWA Heavyweight & WWC North American Strong Style Champion “Shooting Star” Matt Taylor went to a 15-minute time limit draw. After the match, Taylor challenged Howerton to five more minutes. Howerton said that five more minutes would be considered cheating and he is not a cheater; so he did not agree to the five more minutes. Taylor then attacked him and sent him out of the ring.
JT Hogg w/ David Lanning vs. Frankie Andolini
Hogg originally won the match by referee stoppage, then continued to beat on Andolini. Referee Tony Pepper reversed the decision, awarding the match to Frankie Adolini by disqualification.
“Snakeman” Deven Michaels vs. Rick Ramsey
Michaels pinned Ramsey following a DDT.
Codyboy Productions manager Brad Finnearty brought in members of the Logan Football Team to present them with a Memorial poster of Corey Kissling for the locker room. This was then interrupted by “Genuine” Jock Sampson & David Lanning, who then had choice words to say about the crowd and Logan, Ohio in general. They then proceeded to challenge the Logan football players to go in the locker room and find someone who they thought could beat Jock Sampson in a match. The players went to the back and brought out JoeJoe Little.
JoeJoe Little vs. “Genuine” Jock Sampson
In the main event of the evening, JoeJoe Little defeated Jock Sampson in a match that saw everyone from the Logan football team to Corey Kissling’s mother get involved.
Further announcements will be made about the next show from PWA at their official MySpace page.
