PWO – Tons of Videos to Kick Off New TV Season

On Sunday, October 10th, PWO officially kicks off its fourth year of live events at STiR in Cleveland. Full details are available in our “News” section and tickets can be reserved now in our “Store”. To help celebrate this milestone, we have added a plethora of exciting footage to YouTube, detailing some of our greatest and most infamous moments of the end of our third season. 20-Man #1 Contender Gauntlet Battle Royal

On the 6/6/10 episode of PWO TV, the list of contenders clamoring for a shot at Johnny Gargano’s PWO Title became impossible to manage. PWO officials had no recourse other than to throw their hands up and put every healthy top title contender in the ring at once for a rumble of epic proportions in a special Gauntlet Battle Royal

Two men begin the match and every 90 seconds a new competitor emerges. Elimination occurs when a wrestler is thrown over the top rope and both feet hit the floor. The last man standing in the ring becomes #1 contender for the PWO Title!

Watch on as dreams are realized and others are crushed as 20 man battle in a war of attrition for a shot at PWO’s top prize!

Johnny Gargano – A Couple Promises

2010 was not a great year for Johnny Gargano in PWO. After months of being accused of deception, sneak-attacks, and dishonesty, it was revealed that “M-Dogg 20″ Matt Cross was actually the true guilty partner, and had set out to sabotage Gargano along the way. Here, Gargano unleashes months of frustration and emotion as he addresses a sordid eight-month long saga days before his clash with Cross at PWO Wrestlelution 3.

M-Dogg 20 Matt Cross – Retrieving His Property

After losing the PWO Title under controversial circumstances a year earlier, M-Dogg was granted a title opportunity via a verbal agreement with PWO Champion Johnny Gargano. However, shortly afterward, over a dozen athletes began pursuing Gargano vehemently for title opportunities, leaving Gargano with the toughest schedule of any PWO titleholder in history, and M-Dogg lost in the shuffle. Matt refused to be ignored, and went on a months-long crusade, attacking numerous other top contenders, then framing the attacks on Gargano in an effort to ruin and damage Gargano’s reputation for “avoiding” his inevitable match with Cross. M-Dogg didn’t stop there, as after Gargano found out about M-Dogg’s deception and sabotage, Cross attacked Gargano in a parking lot, and even went as far as to steal the PWO Title from Gargano’s travel bag! Here, Cross, with Gargano’s title belt in his possession, explains and defends his actions, his motives, and his intentions

Marion Fontaine Lashes Out At Joe Dombrowski

“Megastar” Marion Fontaine’s frustration with PWO has been very apparent throughout 2010, feeling he was overlooked, held down, and forced into roles and situations that didn’t fit his true personality. After another of what he considered to be a slap in the face by PWO towards him, Fontaine had had it, and took his frustrations out on PWO lead announcer Joe Dombrowski. However, Joe had an idea of how everyone can get what they claim to want and prove themselves once and for all.

Krimson – We All Wear Masks

Few have dared confront the embodiment of evil known as Krimson, but Vic Travagliante tried his best, as he peered into the dark world of the man behind the “Krimson mask”. However, Krimson shows that, in a manner of speaking, we all end up wearing masks… whether we want to or not.

Dawn Decadence Meets Her Demise

For months, all four members of the superficial supergroup Sex Appeal, “True Talent” Bobby “The Body” Shields, Bobby Beverly, “Late Nite” Nicki Valentino, and the voluptuous Dawn Decadence, waged war with the “Homeless Handicapped Connection”, Gregory Iron & Hobo Joe, on the belief that their allegedly superior looks, genetics, and intellects made them better than their foes. Sex Appeal believed so highly in their cause that they met Iron & Hobo in a tag team match where if Sex Appeal were victorious, Iron & Hobo would never be allowed to team together in PWO again. However, if Sex Appeal were not successful in their mission, not only would Iron & Hobo receive a future PWO Tag Team Title shot, but Dawn Decadence would be banned from PWO forever!

In this clip, see the closing moments of that match-up, followed by the unforgettable aftermath, as Dawn leaves with a bad taste in her mouth to say the least, and then has a run-in with legendary wrestling superstar Virgil!

Sex Appeal’s Ugly Side

After being out-smarted by The Homeless Handicapped Connection a week prior, Sex Appeal’s fragile egos and insecure natures were brought to the forefront. Iron & Hobo goaded Beverly into accepting a match for Sex Appeal against the HHC in a No DQ PWO Tag Title Match at PWO Wrestlelution 3, a match Sex Appeal wanted NO part of. As a group that prides themselves as being superior to everyone else, the group of Bobby Beverly, Bobby Shields, and Nicki Valentino had to make a major statement to even the odds. The trio realized this situation could be a major plus for them, as they’ll have a shot to finally achieve their goal – to rid PWO of those which they consider “inferior”. Here, Sex Appeal shows that no matter how attractive they think they look, there’s a definite ugly side beneath the surface.

Jason Bane – Bounty On His Head

Throughout much of 2009 and 2010, evil agent Aaron Maguire was fed up with PWO’s “Most Dominant Man” Jason Bane foiling all of his plots and schemes. Maguire decided to get rid of his problem by placing a bounty on the head of Bane, offering anywhere from $10,000 to $100,000 to anyone who could take Bane out. While many tried, success was limited to say the least. Here, it took an all-star cast – including Brian Bender, Ernie Ballz, Eric Ryan, Corey Winters, Ben Fruith, and Sassy Steph – to formulate a plan, but their execution left just a bit to be desired.

Omega Aaron Draven – The Lost Interview

PWO’s resident thrillseeker “Omega” Aaron Draven spent much of 2010 chasing his most prized possession – the PWO Television Title – a belt of which Draven was the first ever to hold. Omega was defeated by Sons of Michigan leader “Amazing” N8 Mattson, then injured when he was DDT’d onto an open steel chair by Mattson’s partner-in-crime “Big Bear” Benjamin Boone. Undeterred, Draven returned from injury more tenacious than ever, and determined to reclaim his championship. In this never-before-seen interview, Draven showcases his determination and passion and sends out a warning to the Sons of Michigan that ultimately came to fruition.

PWO Video: Preview of Jason Bane vs. Raven

Evil agent Aaron Maguire has been at odds with Jason Bane since PWO’s inception in the fall of 2007. Maguire has tried everything and everyone to eliminate Bane from PWO, but nothing has gotten the job done. This past fall, Maguire placed a bounty on Bane’s head – anyone who could end Bane’s career would receive a very large cash reward upwards of $100,000. Still, no one got the job done, and Bane used the adversity as motivation, getting himself in the best shape of his life and proving why he is PWO’s “Most Dominant Man”. Maguire refused to be defeated, so he dug deep into his pockets to hire the services of Raven to meet Bane on August 1st and collect the bounty himself! Raven is one of the most feared and sadistic athletes wrestling has ever seen, a man who takes pleasure in inflicting pain on others, and has dominated ECW, WCW, WWE, and TNA, usually bringing recklessness and chaos along with him. On August 1st, Raven comes to Cleveland with Agent Aaron Maguire and Aaron’s bodyguard, Mr. Brinks, but Jason Bane is more than ready. This match favors Raven, however, as it will be under “Raven’s Rules”, meaning Raven himself sets the rules to the match, which usually results in NO rules! Will Aaron Maguire get his wish or can Bane overcome the biggest threat posed to him to date?

PWO on YouTube: Super Hentai – Feel The Threat

The man with controlled aggression and howling fury, Super Hentai, plans to unleash his rage onto PWO’s embodiment of evil, Krimson, at PWO Wrestlelution 3: A Defining Moment on Sunday afternoon, August 1, 2010.

Krimson has spent months injuring and torturing PWO’s young up-and-coming athletes, attempting to kill their dreams and make him feel the same disappointment and pain he says wrestling has given to him. Meanwhile, Hentai works to help and teach wrestling’s next generation, and help them grow stronger. Now, in order to do that, Hentai must get rid of Krimson. Which state of mind will win out when both meet at PWO Wrestlelution 3: A Defining Moment?

In this PWO YouTube exclusive, Hentai took a break from the intense training regimen he has himself on in order to address Krimson and what is in store for him. You can see Hentai’s comments now here.

Two Ohio Divas Compete in a Brutal Ladder Match

Fans, we have just received word from our good friends over at RingDivas.com that two of Wrestle Ohio’s favorite Divas were involved in a brutal Loser Leaves Ring Divas Ladder Match over the weekend. Suicide aka Minka Murder hooked up with her long time friend Jessika Havok in what is being called one of the most brutal ladder matches ever, and you can watch all the action right now, by clicking here or on the photo above.

The match took place during RingDivas: Divamania 2010. Here is the official write up from their site:

PWO on YouTube: Three Brand New Videos Added

THE JOHNNY GARGANO/GREGORY IRON SUMMIT In the beginning of 2010, Johnny Gargano found himself outnumbered by the entire faction of Sex Appeal during a scheduled title match against Bobby Beverly. Just when Gargano’s PWO Title reign looked in doubt, “Handicapped Hero” Gregory Iron and his new-found tag partner Hobo Joe burst onto the scene to even the odds. After Sex Appeal had been vanquished, Gargano extended his hand to Iron & Hobo in a token of appreciation. Hobo accepted the handshake, but Greg could only turn his back and walk away.

Gargano and Iron have a history of personal hatred and animosity, including violent life-altering attacks, and deeply disturbing threats and plans, however Johnny Gargano insists he is a changed man, and demanded a confrontation with Gregory Iron to prove it. Can Johnny Gargano earn Gregory Iron’s trust and right his most ultimate wrong, or are some things simply unforgivable?

BEN FRUITH ASKS “HAVE YOU SEEN MIKE TOLAR?” Ben Fruith was enjoying life as Pro Wrestling Ohio’s youngest star, despite less than positive circumstances. Mike Tolar, self-proclaimed “Greatest Thing Going Today”, offered to “take Ben Fruith under his wing” and train and mold him into becoming a better wrestler. In reality, Tolar just wanted a gullible kid to run his errands, do his chores, and act as a glorified servant. Fruith, trying to see the best in the situation, mistakenly believed Tolar had Ben’s best interests in mind, and gladly did whatever he was told.

However, after losing two straight PWO Title matches, a frustrated Tolar simply vanished from professional wrestling. While his true motives and reasons are still not known, his supposed “best friend” Fruith took this loss very hard. With Tolar no longer at PWO live events, and not returning phone calls of PWO officials, Ben made what was in his mind the most logical assumption… Mike Tolar is missing.

Ben Fruith began a ridiculous campaign to find his former boss, including t-shirts, newspaper ads, and ridiculous flyers. Here, Ben takes his search into the PWO crowd, much to the chagrin of The Puerto Rican Wrecking Crew’s Isaac Montana, who was scheduled for action.

HOT NEWS STEMMING FROM THIS PAST SUNDAY’s PWO TV

This past week’s edition of PWO TV gave us numerous questions, discussion points, and news stories. Here are the top headlines coming out of the weekend -

Who Attacked Bobby Beverly?
Two weeks ago, Bobby Beverly was found unconscious in the back of the building, the victim of apparently some sort of assault. This week, Beverly spoke out on the issue, stating he was hit from behind and didn’t see a thing… however was quick to point the finger at arch-rival Gregory Iron as the perpetrator! PWO’s “Handicapped Hero” responded quickly, stating if he were to attack Bobby he would do it face-to-face, as evidenced by their altercation in the middle of the ring three weeks ago. This fact seemingly eliminates Greg as a suspect, but if this is the case, who attacked Bobby and why?

Main Event Ends In Mass Chaos
Our main event of PWO Champion Johnny Gargano vs. Marion Fontaine turned ugly when a slew of would-be title contenders crept to ringside to scout the championship match, just two weeks away from the start of a PWO Title #1 Contender‘s Tournament to determine the next challenger. After the bout, all control was lost, and Gargano was left looking into a very frightening future.

Krimson Claims His Latest Victim
Krimson disposed of newcomer Chest Flexor in quick and violent fashion, adding to his list of victims. Krimson has tortured and tormented many of PWO’s young athletes as revenge for what Krimson feels is unfair treatment to him from the professional wrestling business. Who is Krimson’s next victim and who can stop an entity filled with such hatred?

Sex Appeal Face A New Threat
Matthew Justice defeated Sex Appeal’s Nicki Valentino via disqualification, however when the superficial supergroup attempted to gang up on Justice afterward, Michael “The Bomber” Façade came to Justice’s aid. Façade & Justice have a pact to watch one another’s backs, but after Façade’s recent pinfall win over Sex Appeal’s Bobby Shields, could Façade & Justice be in line for a shot at Sex Appeal’s PWO Tag Team Titles?

Omega Wants Orange To Be Gold Again
Aaron Draven made it clear that just because he’s lost two straight matches to PWO TV Champion “Amazing” N8 Mattson, he isn’t going away. Omega is PWO’s first ever TV Champion, and its clear despite the numerous bumps on the head, and very puzzling way of thought, the TV Title is Aaron’s everything. Will Omega have another shot at wearing the gold around his orange waist?

PWO POSTPONES SCHEDULED APRIL DATE

Pro Wrestling Ohio regrets to inform you that due to logistical issues, and in an effort to continuously provide only the best action and entertainment possible for our fans, the scheduled April 24 return to the Cleveland area has been postponed to the month of June. Latest Episode of NexGen’s NexGems Now Posted

Fans. the latest episode of NexGen Wrestling’s NexGems TV show has been posted…and it is nothing short of awesome!

This weeks show focuses on the growing feud between The Black Irish Saints (“Dangerous” Damien Kass & “Re-Enforcer” Devlin Anderson) and The Soul Shooters (Dru & Q Skillz). In addition to seeing their initial match from NexGen: The Future is Now, you will also get a chance to see what transpired prior to the match when these two clashed backstage!

NexGen Updates: NexGen II, NexGems, & More

Well we are only a little over three weeks away from NexGen’s return with NexGen II: A Friday Night Fight on March 19, 2010. Fans the anticipation is high as we return to the Clermont Co. Fairgrounds with a 8:00 PM bell time for what promises to be a special night.

Our roster has the upcoming Undisputed tournament on their minds going into this show. Those who came out of The Future is Now with victories hope to continue that into tournament time and those who failed short last time hope to get on the board so that they will have a slot in that tournament.

NexGen is proud to announce two more matches added to the NexGen II Line up outside of the big rematch between The Soul Shooters/Black Irish Saints…

Super Oprah returns after her/his win in that Four Corners match last show to take on the debuting “Death from Above” Takoda Moon. These two are no strangers to one another having fought through out the tri-state area and both hope to rack up a win in order to impress the NexGen officials.

Also announced is two best friends and former tag team partners locking up as The Main Street Youth Implode!!! It will be Jake Omen facing Scotty Young one on one. Hired for our Tag Division, disagreements about style lead to them breaking up before they had their first Tag Match. Now they’ll be on opposite sides of the ring. Omen is still angry about Young eliminating him from the 4 corners match last show and looks for revenge. Check out next weeks NexGems to see more on why this match was signed.
