Its finally here…WRESTLEBOUND! This is it folks, the biggest event to rock Adams County in a long time. The stars of NexGen Pro and The World Wrestling Coalition are ready to tear it up and raise money for the Peebles High School!

Rootbound will bring a WHOLE LOT OF TROUBLE to Peebles with a full concert from 7pm to 8pm. These hard rockers mix a bluesy southern rock vibe with a head banging sound and put on a show you’ll never forget. Be here to say you saw Rootbound when they were in Peebles before they blow up!

(The feud between American Kickboxer and Tarek is well…legendary. Now Kickboxer’s student takes up the mask to take on The Legend this Friday Night)

(Former best friends and tag parnters turned enemies. Omen turned his back on Young at NexGen II in their tag match with the NobleBloods. NexGen Management have decided these two will lock up in Peebles)

(Williams pinned Donst at NexGen 1, Donst cheated Nevada at NexGen 2…Nevada and Williams have been life long friends and tag parnters but now they’ll be on opposite sides in this 3 Way. Every man for himself as you’ll see three of the best in Mid-West wrestling today in our main event!)

Plus…Local Icon Superstar Shawn Parks has been acting very weird as of late. At the recent WWC Event he appeared in the Tri-State rumble as the Ultimate Warrior? Many are saying he is suffering from a nasty concussion at the hands of Terry Raines from May…he is scheduled to appear at Wrestlebound…but will it be Superstar Shawn Parks…Ultimate Parks or someone else?

NexGen Presents Wrestlebound 2010 on 6/18/10

NexGen Pro Wrestling and NexTV Sports have joined forces with WrestleOhio.com and the stars on the World Wrestling Coalition to bring to you Wrestlebound 2010, a night of Rock N’ Wrestling action featuring live rock act Rootbound!

Wrestlebound 2010 takes place on Friday night, June 18, 2010 at the Peebles High School in Peebles, OH. Doors open at 6:30 PM with Rootbound slated to take the stage at 7:00 PM and the wrestling action to kick off promptly at 8:00 PM. Tickets are $10.00 at the door, $8.00 in advance and $8.00 for all students. Proceeds for this live event go to the Peebles High School and the Peebles Athletic Department.

NexGen Weekly Update For 5/18/10

Well its has been a very hectic week here at the NexGen Offices. We are moving into a new studio, that storm knocked out our server, and we got more news about upcoming events.

First things first, we are back online and that means NexGems is back online. We will be uploading last weeks episode shortly and this Wednesday night we’ll have the newest episode, our Season One Finale. We’ll be taking a few weeks off before NexGems resumes.

On last weeks episode (going online asap) you’ll see the Soul Shooters have words about the Black Irish Saints after their last match. Plus Dave Nevada vs. Tim Donst.

On July 31, 2010 NexGen debuts in Circleville, OH at the Pickaway Fairgrounds in the 4H Grange Building. Bell time is 8pm and tickets go on sale online on June 1st.

NexGen Stars to Compete in Fundraiser June 18th

Stars of NexGen will be in action on 06/18 for a fundraiser for the Peebles High School in Peebles, OH.

More info is coming in the next few days on this event. The fundraiser will also feature live music and stars from local wrestling promotion the World Wrestling Coalition (www.wwcweb.com).

It is no secret that our home offices are in Peebles, OH and we jumped at the chance to help out our home town’s local school.

No word on who will be representing NexGen at this event. We’ll have word shortly. We do know that we’ll have NexGen DVDs and tickets for upcoming NexGen shows on sale. Hit our table and score a great deal!

NexGen Weekly Update For 5/10/10

Things are blowing up around the NexGen Offices fans. Just mere weeks ago, we had no shows on the docket or any idea where to run. Now we are struggling to work out when we are going to run in what town. Things are picking up here at NexGen and you really need to hop on the bandwagon now fans.

How to do this? It’s simple…head over to the NexGen Shop and buy the NexGen Double Pack DVD featuring our first two shows. For only $25.00 you can own every single match in NexGen History in two DVDs. It will be a great DVD to own before you pick up tickets to our next round of shows.

And speaking of our next shows…07/31 in Circleville, OH is being called “We Live” because we are using this as a statement that NexGen isn’t going anywhere but up. We aren’t dead folks, NexGen is very much alive and well.

Signed for this event already is an Official Tag Team Division match between the Hi-Def Super Novas (Matt Mason & Robby Starr) taking on The Black Irish Saints (Damien Kass & Devlin Anderson) w/Naughtia. The Novas are undefeated with a win at The Future is Now over the Noble Bloods. The Black Irish Saints have went to war with the Soul Shooters and although they didn’t pull off the win, they did leave the veteran team laying in the center of the ring. Now these two teams will lock up for the first time ever.

In the next week we’ll be announcing more matches.

We are also very close to an announcement on our Cincinnati debut. Fans, the Queen’s City has a very rich history in pro-wrestling and NexGen is happy to run there. And we know the match announced for this event is Tarek the Legend vs. Aaron Williams. To see why this match was made check out Episode #6 of NexGems at www.nexgenwrestling.com.

Speaking of NexGems, after being rudely interrupted its back this week with its featured bout of the week Tim Donst vs. Dave Nevada one on one. Plus hear from the Soul Shooters after their match with the Black Irish Saints at NexGen 2.

Well, the blog released today before this one has our new NexGen Rule Book and system to determine a number one contender for title shots. The wrestlers in NexGen have all received the new rule book and will be expected to follow these rules. Wins/Lose records are important but now there are hefty penalties to those use win by under handed tactics. You have to reason that a wrestler loosing half of his paycheck will make him think twice about bending the rules.

Matt Stryker who has come under fire for not keeping things from getting out of hand in the first two shows was instrumental in creating these new rules alongside other Board of Director members. Stryker will be the sheriff to enforce these new laws of the land.

Now that we have a look at how the titles are going to be ranked, it is just a matter of time before we announce our Tournament Date. Fans NexGen Undisputed will take place this fall in the Queens City. No Date has been determined but the Eight Man Tournament will feature the best in NexGen Wrestling. Word is still coming out of the BOD about the NexGen Tag Team Title situation.

We are setting up a number of shows this very day fans. We’ll update here later once we can commit to the shows but I’ll say this right now NexGen Wrestling is not aiming to be your typical Ohio Indy Fed. We see ourselves as more a Mid-West Promotion and shows in Indiana or West Virginia are not out of the question. Right now we are focused on the Queen City of Cincinnati, OH and The Columbus, OH area.

This week on NexGems, we have something that has to be seen to be believed. Jeremiah Young, co-host of NexGems was taping a wrap on the NexGen Double Pack (now on sale) when he was interrupted by unwelcome guest. We won’t reveal who those “Guests” were but they proceeded to take over NexGems.

Many thought that we should just dump the show and re-tape but the Producers of NexGems have decided to let the episode stand and return the following week with our regular NexGem format. So While I cannot tell you right now what this week’s Episode pertains I can say that it is a must see.

Next week we’ll return with a word from the Soul Shooters after their match with the Black Irish Saints at NexGen 2 and we’ll see Dave Nevada take on Chikara Young Lions Cup Champion Tim Donst in singles division action. No doubt fans that this match is quickly being called the “Dark Horse” of NexGen 2. It has become a favorite of the NexGen staff.

NexGen Weekly Update For 4/26/10

Working very hard on bringing a whole lot of things your way before Saturday. This last week of April is a busy time around NexTV Productions as we have many many things in the pipeline, some not even relating to NexGen.

But on the NexGen front we are working hard to update the NexGen Official website as well as broadcasting new episodes of NexGems. Our construction kept Episode #8 from being shown in thumbnail, but it does in fact play. So if you wanna see Jesse Emerson take on Cody Hawk and hear from both Tarek the Legend and Aaron Williams check that out.

This week’s episode of NexGems features Jake Omen taking on Scotty Young, The Noble Bloods make a challenge and you will hear from the Black Irish Saints after their hard fought match with the Soul Shooters from NexGen 2. Fans we are meeting with two venues in the state of Ohio this week about holding future events. And before NexGen moves forward, you need to see what he have done thus far. While NexGems give you a taste of what action we offer, you don’t get the full match. We don’t do 5 minute matches fans, when you pay your money to attend a NexGen event you get your money’s worth. Ask anyone who made it NexGen 2 and saw the near 20 minute brawl between Aaron Williams and Tarek The Legend.

I will say that NexGen will be coming to the Queen’s City and near the State Capitol in the next few months and pro-wrestling in Ohio will never be the same.

Matt Stryker and the BoD were very upset with the way things got out of hand during the NexGen 2 event. The BoD asked Matt Stryker to come up with a rule book for future shows, including the upcoming Title Match Rules. And after a month of working on it, we are proud to announce the full Rule Book will be on display this week on our MySpace.

NexGen Weekly Update For 4/19/10

Things are certainly getting very interesting at the NexGen offices as we just taped an episode of NexGems that was hijacked by members of our roster. We won’t go into details but it is safe to say that the 5/05/10 episode of NexGems is going to be the most interesting in its brief history.

Speaking of NexGems…Some are having a hard time viewing Episode 7, while others are not. We have been made aware of this problem and are fixing it as we speak. NexGems 7 features the Main Event of NexGen 2 as well as the face to face between Cody Hawk and Matt Stryker.

This coming weeks episode (04-21-10) will feature Jesse Emerson vs. Cody Hawk as our featured bout of the week. Now this is the first time these two have ever locked up. Cody Hawk, for those of you who make you home under rocks, is an Icon in Ohio INDY Wrestling.

He along with Matt Stryker took the original HWA to heights not yet matched by any other promotion in the Mid-West. The fallout between Hawk and Matt Stryker is one of the many things NexGen has going for it. Matt Stryker is not and active wrestler, he hasn’t been for two months. But Jesse Emerson, who many are calling the future of Indy Pro Wrestling, has stepped up to face Cody Hawk. Stryker has taken Emerson under his wing and this Wednesday night at www.nexgenwrestling.com you can see the match that has kicked this off.

UPCOMING EVENTS
Tuesday we are having a meeting with a possible venue for our next shows. Fans I can’t speak too much on it but if it works out it will be bringing Pro Wrestling back to an area where it once ruled supreme.

We’ll be announcing the location and date this week if things go well Tuesday. We know for a fact that at least one match is already signed for NexGen 3, and that’s the NO DQ Match between Tarek the Legend and “The Angelic Assassin” Aaron Williams. Beyond that we have no idea what matches will be signed or what talent will be in the building that night. Safe bet is that Cody Hawk will be there to make Matt Stryker’s life a living hell.

NexGen Weekly Update For 4/12/10

We are currently working up a storm to launch our new official NexGen website (www.nexgenwrestling.com) don’t worry though NexGems will still be part of it. We are hoping to have that up and ready for you eyes by the end of April.

Some technical problems are keeping us busy too. As you can tell last weeks episode of NexGems has been delayed. Once that is fixed you’ll be able to see NexGems #6 on your computer screen. But we are scheduled to release NexGems #7 this week also.

On this weeks episode: You’ll see the very personal face to face between the Icons Cody Hawk and Matt Stryker and see the match of the week. The Soul Shooters take on the Black Irish Saints.

Fans we are with in days not weeks of being able to announce our return show for NexGen III. I can’t speak too much on it but I will say that it will not only just be the biggest show in our history…but possibly the biggest in the city we are going to run!

Hope you got a chance to check out the June issue of Pro Wrestling Illustrated as you would turn to the rankings page and see NexGen Pro listed. At top of that list was Spartan 3000 Matt Cross. Tim Donst challenged Cross to a match at the next show. We’ll have to see if this match is signed but if it is fans, it is sure to be one of the most anticipated matches in recent history…Tim Donst is on the rise in Indy Wrestling and his mat based skills will clash well with Cross and his legendary High Flying ability.
