We’re only days away from MEWL’s 2009 debut and we are ready to reveal the beginning stages of our new look and attitude this Saturday night at the National Guard Armory in Alliance, OH as MEWL presents: NO LOVE LOST! As always, we have TONS of action planned for the night:
MEWL Heavyweight Champion, Jebediah, has until 9:00 PM to defend his title against “Killer” Chris Kole or he will be forced to forfeit the championship belt!
Durty the Clown just won a #1 Contenders Match for the Hardcore Title and has been bragging about his undefeated streak against Hardcore Champion, Brain Damage. What does the champ think about this show of bravado? Well, let’s just say he’s working feverishly to get this Hardcore match signed and prove Durty’s wins were coincidental. Durty says he has a warm-up match scheduled to prove to the world that he is not only the best hardcore wrestler in MEWL, but he will also “scare the tattoos off” of Brain Damage when he sees how skilled Durty is.
Christian Vaughn has been on an enormous downward spiral lately and has the losing streak to prove it. He’s beginning to doubt his choice to lead Team Pain in the fight against the MCW Originals. Can Vaughn turn his luck around?
We’ve seen some great battles between MEWL Cruiserweight Champion, Krazy and Supa Lucha. We’ve also had some showstoppers between MEWL North American Champion, Justin Diaz and Johnny Gun. No Love Lost brings you the best of both worlds. Our Main Event features a “Champions vs. Contenders” Match. Supa Lucha and Johnny Gun team up to take on Krazy and Justin Diaz and perhaps even a few scores.
Also scheduled to appear: Lones Oaks, Wilbur Whitlock, Jessicka Havok, Eric Ryan, Mike Hercum, Big Hurt, Time Traveller, Otis, Dick Jeremy, and more! Tickets are on sale now at Dale’s Leather Depot in the Carnation Mall or can be purchased at the door the night of the show.
Doors open at 7:00 PM and the show kicks off at 7:30! We hope to see all of you there this Saturday night in Alliance, OH for the best wrestling action on this side of the solar system!

Here are the results from Main Event World League’s Wrestling Hunger ’08 show, held on November 15, 2008 at the Alliance Armory in Alliance, Ohio.
Lones Oaks loses the Hardcore Championship to MCW Original, Brain Damage
Jessicka Havok is unable to defend her Women’s Championship due to her opponent not showing up for a 2nd straight show. The Buckaroo came out to teach her a lesson and was quickly sent back with a loss.
Supa Lucha vs. Krazy (by FAR the best match of the night) was absolutely off the hook. Krazy wins the title by hitting his Krazy Krunch from the top rope!
Mr. Insanity faced off against Christian Vaughn since Shasta wasn’t cleared to wrestle yet. Vaughn actually got booed on his entrance but after he lost to Mr. Insanity, the crowd applauded him for a great effort.
Diaz regains his North American Championship from Johnny Gun. Diaz was setting up for an illegal move (the Shattered Dreams) when Dick Jeremy came out and told Diaz he wasn’t going to allow him to cheat anymore. The distraction gave Johnny Gun the chance to hit his big move on Diaz. As he went for the elbow drop, Dick grabbed his leg just long enough to allow Diaz to get to his feet and knock Gun on his “golden globes” on the top turnbuckle. Both men were standing on the middle rope when Diaz hit his Stigmata and got the pinfall!
The TLC Match was all over the place and had lots of fast paced and brutal action. They had some great comedy spots as well. In the end, Jazin Blaze makes it to the top of the ladder and gets the Tag Belts to crown themselves new Tag Team Champions!
The new (as he named himself) Lord Chancellor Even Stevens did a surprisingly good job on booking matches. Just when we thought Diaz was up to his old tricks by hiring an MCW Original, we find out that Even Stevens is actually bitter with Diaz, MCW, Lones Oaks, and MEWL. Now he plans on cleaning up the company and all of the corruption. Only time will tell!
