Results – MPW: Final Sunday Showcase – 2/14/20

Matt Taylor welcomed the crowd to the last Sunday Showcase Show. Taylor promised that he would win the MPW Championship later on for the fans of Circleville as a speical thanks for all of their continued support!

These two gave it their all for the fans in Circleville! Both men wanted to ‘go out’ on top, but only one could! Assad was able to get the very slim upper hand in the end in order to pick up the 1-2-3 Victory and retain his championship! After the match Taylor handed Assad the belt and both men showed each others respect for one-another as the fans in Circleville stood on thier feet applauding each mans effects!

This match will go down as one of the Top Five Matches in MPW History! Many Circleville fans suggested that is was without a doubt the best match in Circleville Wrestling History…and THAT ALONE is saying something!

Special 6-Man Tag
Ganger, Matt Taylor, & Takoda Moon defeated Kaden Assad, Jock Samson, & Jeremy Madrox w/Special Ref – Corey Mason

This was a special ‘Thank You’ Final match for all of our fans in Circleville. And they defiantly got their money’s worth! All six men went at it non-stop…stopping twice to even have N’Sync Dance-Offs!! In the end special ref Corey Mason tried to sway the favor to the side of Assad’s team, however Takoda Moon had had enough and took Mason out of the match all together! Regular Ref Nikki then emerged as Takoda Moon was able to pickup the pinfall victory for his team!

Matt Taylor defeated Mikey D.

MPW Champion Kaden Assad & Jeremy Madrox informed the Circleville crowd that they wanted them to see the best wrestling possible, and since they were the ‘best two talents’ there, they were going to wrestle each other for the first time ever!

Moments into the match, MX Champion Ganger came to ringside, this upset Assad & Madrox, which prompted them to challenge Ganger to a 3 Way Dance for his championship…Ganger gladly accepted!

MX Title Match – Ganger(c) defeated Kaden Assad & Jeremy Madrox

Assad & Madrox worked together most of the match to double team Ganger, however when it seemed like Ganger was making a comeback, Assad attempted to knock him out with a title belt, however connected with Madrox instead, which allowed Ganger to pickup the pinfall victory over Madrox to retain the MX Title!

After the match Assad/Madrox began to beatdown Ganger, until Matt Taylor ran out for the save! Since both Taylor & Ganger wanted a piece of Assad/Madrox a Tag Match was made for later on!

Matt Taylor & Ganger defeated The Heatseekers(Kaden Assad & Jeremy Madrox)

Ganger & Taylor were able to control most of the match, never allowing Assad or Madrox to get much of an upper hand. In the end Matt Taylor was able to score a clean pinfall victory over Kaden Assad.
This angered Assad extremly, and he offered a singles challenge for Taylor and offered to put his MPW Title on the line to prove that he could beat Taylor once again…Taylor gladly accepted!!

MPW Heavywieght Championship – Matt Taylor defeated Kaden Assad(c)

These two went back and forth the entire match! Each pulled out thier best in an attempt to gain the victory. Towards the end Taylor got the upper hand and was able to once again pick up the pinfall victory to become the NEW MPW CHAMPION!!

After the match both Jeremy Madrox & Ganger ran out and jumped in the ring, Madrox was furious claiming that Taylor had hit Assad with an illegal object that he hid in his trunks…when Ref Nikki checked Taylor, she indeed found a pair of knucks & REVERSED her decision, thus making the winner and STILL MPW Champion – Kaden Assad!!

After the match, MPW Management made the announcement that due to the events that just happened, next week Kaden Assad will defend his MPW Title ONE MORE TIME against Matt Taylor, if Taylor is unable to win..he will not get another shot at Assad for the rest of 2010! Also it was stated that if Jeremy Madrox interrupted in ANY WAY, that Assad would be DQ’d and Taylor would automatically become the new champion!

This week’s Showcase started off with Jabari challenging anybody in the back to a Boxing/MMA Style Fight, as he wanted to prove just how bad he really is.

MPW Champion Kaden Assad & Jeremy Madrox then made thier way to the ringside, Assad informed that crowd that since he is being forced to defend his title this Saturday at the Next Gen Wrestling Show in Clearmont County against Jesse Emerson, that he would NOT defend the title tonight! Madrox then went on to state that there wasnt’ anybody in the locker room worthy of a title shot anyways, this then brought out current MPW MX Champion Ganger!

Assad & Madrox insisted that Ganger didn’t deserve a title shot, however told him that if he could beat Madrox in a Arm Wrestling Contest, then Assad would wrestle him later on in a title vs title match! Ganger accepted!

After the contest, Madrox & Assad attacked Ganger and began to beat him down until Takoda Moon made the save.

In this first ever champion vs. champion match in MPW, it was one of the most even matches in the history of MPW!! Both men gave it thier all, around halfway threw the match Jeremy Madrox was kicked out of the ringside area and made to return to the locker room. Ganger seemed to have Assad right where he wanted him in the end, when out of nowhere Madrox returned & attacked Ganger with Assad’s Iraqi Flag, thus DQ’ing Kaden Assad!

Due to the match ending in a DQ, niether Title changed hands.

Takoda Moon defeated Super Oprah

These two put on one of the best matches in recent MPW History, both trying to climb up the ‘ladder’ one more step for hopefully a future title shot. Takoda was able to connect on a spike-ddt to pickup the pinfall victory.

After the match, Kaden Assad & Jeremy Madrox made thier return to the ring as they delivered a brutal assault on Takoda Moon for interfering earlier on…luckily for Takoda, Super Oprah had a sudden mood-change and decided to come back for the rescue as the four brawled to the back!

Results – MPW: Sunday Showcase – 1/03/10

This Sunday’s Showcase started off with The Heatseakers (Jeremy Madrox/MPW Champ Kaden Assad) coming to the ring and describing how Assad planned to retain his Heavyweight Title for the night. Assad informed the crowd & Madrox, that he wouldn’t need Jeremy tonight…however ‘Director of Operations’ Josh Hayes quickly jumped in the ring to inform them that there would be a special un-announced stipulation in the main event, and that would be that Jeremy Madrox would have to be HANDCUFFED to Matt Mason to assure it would be a one on one match!

MX Title – Ganger(c) defeated Donnie Swanson
Ganger showed everyone in Circleville just why he is the MX Champion as he took on new-comer Donnie Swanson! At one point Swanson seemed to have the advantage, however got distracted when he became hungry, and decided to eat some of his candy snacks he brought to the ring…..however whenever Ganger startled him, he accidentally smashed the box of A,B,C’s over Gangers head! Luckily for Ganger, he was able to recover and pick up the pinfall victory still.

Sam Hane defeated Chris Cannon
This was a battle over muscle & raw power as these two went at it. Though Cannon came close on more then one occastion, Sam Hane proved why he is 1/2 of the MPW Tagteam Champs as he was able to get a victory to start off the new year right.

Matt Mason defeated Dusty Dillenger
Though Dillenger made his MPW debut, these two are far from strangers as they have battled all over Northern Ohio and in parts of other states! However Mason wasn’t going to be the one for Dusty to make an impact on as he showed why he has been a dominate force here in MPW since 2006 as he picked up a win.

Juggulator defeated Mikey D
Mikey D made his return to Circleville, and the fans along with Juggulator still didn’t know what to make of him. In the end Mikey D again tried to use his ‘muscle milk’ to pickup the win, however again it backfired on him and Juggulator got the victory.

MPW Championship – No DQ Match – Kaden Assad(c) defeated Matt Taylor
Before the match began, the ref made sure that Jeremy Madrox was securely handcuffed to Matt Mason so that it would be a 1-1 Match. Once the match got started, it was all over the building! Taylor & Assad beat each other with everything they could get their hands on, but when all was said and done, Kaden Assad was able to deliver an anslaute of chairs onto Taylor allowing him to practically knockout Taylor & pickup the pinfall victory to retain the MPW Championship!!

MPW – 1/10/10 cancelled

Today’s Sunday Showcase in Circleville, Ohio has been canceled due to unfortunate circumstances.

MPW will return to Circleville Next Sunday (1/17/10) to continue the Showcase at the Grange Building at the Pickaway County Fairgrounds. Doors open at 4:30 PM with all the action set to go down at 5:00 PM.

Mad Pro Wrestling returned to Circleville, OH this past Sunday for another awesome afternoon of family friendly action. If you weren’t there, here’s what went down…

MPW MX Title – Ganger defeated Mike Dodge(c)

After the match Dodge congratulated Ganger, then informed the crowd that even though he wasn’t able to beat Ganger, his cousin who just arrived from Jersey would love nothing more than to get a shot at the new MX Champion. Ganger accepted the challenge.

MPW Heavyweight Championship – Kaden Assad (c) defeated Matt Taylor via DQ

Taylor had Assad locked in a sharpshooter, when Jeremy Madrox entered the ring and attacked his partner Kaden Assad, at which point the ref had no choice but to call for the bell and award Kaden the winner via DQ.

After the match The Heatseakers once again began a beat down on Matt Taylor, until the ‘Director of Operations’ Josh Hayes & Matt Mason rushed the ring! Hayes informed everybody that the Assad/Taylor feud will end January 3rd, as the two will meet one more time in a NO DQ, ANYTHING GOES Match for the MPW Title!

Though Mikey D. made an impressive debut, and had the crowd behind him…it wasn’t enough in the end. Mikey D attempted to hit Ganger with his ‘Muscle Milk’ container, however Ganger was able to duck the attack and get the upperhand which lead to a pinfall victory.

Matt Mason defeated Jeremy Madrox

Mason made quite the Sunday Showcase Show impression winning in the main event this week! Kaden Assad attempted to get involved, but it just wasn’t enough as Mason was able to out smart & out move both Madrox & Assad picking up the victory!

MPW had one of our best years in 2009, and we can’t wait to kick off the New Year next Sunday, January 3, 2010.

Already announced for our first show of the New Year & Decade will be Kaden Assad & Matt Taylor hopefully ending this feud of theirs once and for all when they meet one more time this Sunday in a NO DQ, ANYTHING GOES Match for the MPW Championship!!

MPW Returns to Circleville, OH on 12/27/09

Mad Pro Wrestling wraps up 2009 in a huge way, as they present the year end edition of their popular Sunday Showcase Shows this coming Sunday, December 27, 2009. This amazing show will take place at The Grange Building at the Pickaway County Fairgrounds. Doors open at 4:30 PM with all the action set to go down at 5:00 PM.

Also fans, we have just received word that in the Main Event we will finally see “The Shooting Star” Matt Taylor get his much deserved shot at the MPW Heavyweight Championship, currently held by Kaden Assad. Will Taylor be able to overcome the odds and take the title from The Islamic Terror, or will Assad and his lackey Jeremy Madrox have the last laugh of 2009?

MPW Heavyweight Championship
Kaden Assad(c) defeated Chris Miles
Though Miles had much of the fans support behind him in his debut, it wasn’t enough for him to walk away with the gold as Kaden Assad was able to get the pinfall victory.

Jeremy Madrox defeated James Von Erich
Madrox made quit work of the less experienced Von Erich and picked up a singles win after losing twice last week.

After the match, Madrox brought MPW Champion Kaden Assad back out and proceeded to demand yet another tag match with Matt Taylor…Taylor made his way to the ring, however refused since he has already beaten the team of Madrox/Assad….He then informed everybody that he did however have a tag-team in mind and brought out non other then The V-Squared of Virus & Virus Grande!

Before the match could be agreed upon, a stipulation was made that stated if The V-Squad could win later on, Matt Taylor would receive a Heavyweight Title match NEXT WEEK! However if The Heatseakers won…Matt Taylor wouldn’t get a title shot anytime soon and couldn’t challenge Kaden Assad or Jeremy Madrox for 2 months!

Though Cannon seemed to have the advantage with how much he was able to overpower Taylor, Taylor was able to capitalize on Cannon’s mistakes and pick up yet another victory.

Blazin Eagle defeated ‘The Ace’ Trybo
Both of these guys wanted to make an impression with thier MPW Debuts, however Blazin Eagle seemed to want it more in the end picking up the pinfall victory with a sunset-flip roll-up.

Ganger defeated Mr. Glam Rock
The two fan favorites squared off against eachother in a mostly even battle throughout the match, in the end Ganger’s power was too much for Glam Rock however and Ganger picked up one more win here in MPW!

Matt Taylor’s Title Shot Hopes
The V-Squad(Virus/Virus Grande) defeated The Heatseakers (Assad/Madrox)
This match was without a doubt, the must action packed match Circleville has seen thus-far! V-Squad were relentless with their aerial assaults, however the Heatseakers were up to their usual dirty tricks, and were able to slow down Virus & Virus Grande for parts of the match up. These four men battled all over the building, and in the end just as it seemed Assad was going to be able to attack Virus with his title belt, Matt Taylor prevented the attack, allowing Virus to roll up Kaden and pickup the win!!

As a result, next week Matt Taylor will finally get his MPW Heavyweight Championship Match against Kaden Assad!
