The NWA East/Heroes of Wrestling has secured a building for shows and the filming of their new TV Show “Gem City Wrestling”. And now, we are proud to announce the date and location of the first TV taping! Join the NWA East/Heroes of Wrestling on Saturday, April 3, 2010 at 2:00 PM for our first live show and Gem City Wrestling TV taping!

Join us for “First Impression” at the Payne Rec Center, 3800 Main Street in Moraine, OH.

NWA East/Heroes of Wrestling Promoter Chris Lash, and GCW Owner J.L. Thrush announced the merger of two promotions to benefit the Dayton area with a high quality wrestling product. This merger will featuring TV tapings, and a weekly TV show to air in the Dayton television market. “It will be wrestling like we used to watch on TV. With a high quality roster, and storylines you can believe in.” said Lash. “We will bring the fans a show that they have not seen in the Dayton area in quite some time. Something hard hitting and family oriented, with storylines that are easy to follow and talent from around the United States, not just the area.” J.L. Thrush stated.

Sheik Kaden Assad defeated Robby Starr

Tank Sherman representing the Bengals defeated Bubba Brewer representing the Steelers the night before the two NFL teams square off at Paul Brown Stadium. WHO DEY!

NWA Legends Bobby Fulton beat Dusty Dillinger by DQ after Sheik Kaden Assad interferred in the match. Robby Starr saved Fulton from a beatdown. NWA East/HOW Promoter Chris Lash then ordered a tag match with the four. If Bobby Fulton’s team won, then Fulton would win the NWA East/Heroes of Wrestling Heavyweight Championship, and vice versa for Dillinger’s team.

High Flying Mike Dodge pinned Brian Beech after giving him a classic 619 finisher!

The tag team of Bobby Fulton and Robby Starr were fantastic in victory over Dusty Dillinger and Kaden Assad. With the win Fulton became the first ever NWA East/Heroes of Wrestling Heavyweight Champion!

Sharkboy defeated General Lee in a mask vs. mask match when Lee’s mask was pulled off as Sharkboy was delivering his patented stunner!

Heroes of Wrestling Debut Show Set For 9/26/09

NWA East presents the Heroes of Wrestling debut show on Saturday September 26, 2009 at the Waynesville High School in Waynesville, OH. Doors open at 6:30 PM with the action scheduled to kick off at 7:00 PM. Tickets are $10.00 for Adults, $5.00 for Kids 12 & Under, and are available now at Waynesville Area Chamber of Commerce or at Hometown Marketplace in Waynesville, OH. Proceeds from this event will benefit the Waynesville Spartans Athletics.

And fans, what a night of action this is shaping up to be. Already announced…

TNA Superstar Shark Boy will put his finned-hood on the line when he faces the masked redneck, General Lee, in a Mask vs. Mask match. One of these men is going to suffer the ultimate humiliation that any masked wrestler can suffer and have to unmask before the crowd in Waynesville, OH!

Former NWA Tag-Team Champion, the legendary “Fantastic” Bobby Fulton will go one-on-one with Dusty Dillinger.

In a Steelers vs. Bengals Match, Pittsburgh’s Bubba Brewer will take on Cincinnati’s Sherman Tank, in a match-up that promises to be more hard-hitting than a 300 lbs. linebacker! WHO DEY!!

Also scheduled to appear is “Bad Attitude” Brian Beech, Robby Starr, Matt Mason, Wrestle Ohio’s own V.L. Stricklett, and all of your favorite HOW Superstars. More matches will be announced as we move closer to the date, so keep checking back. This is one show that you don’t want to miss!!

New NWA Affiliate Set to Debut in Ohio

The NWA returns to Ohio, as the NWA East based in Pittsburgh works in conjunction with veteran indy promoter Chris Lash to form “Heroes of Wrestling”. Lash, who promoted the APWF for 10 years in Pennsylvania, and Florida, brings classic pro wrestling to the Buckeye State.

Teamed with NWA legend Bobby Fulton, one half of the legendary tag team The Fantastics, Lash promises family entertainment with an old school feel to shows. “Its great to be working with Bobby and my mentor Jim Miller, as his promotion the NWA East gets ready to celebrate its 15th anniversary, and the great tradition of the NWA”

The Heroes of Wrestling’s first show called “Redemption” takes place in Waynesville, OH at the high school on Saturday night, September 26th with a belltime of 7:00 PM. The show stars Fulton, Shark Boy, and the rest of the Heroes Of Wrestling’s new roster, featuring some of the top talent in Ohio including Robby Star, Tank Sherman, Mike Dodge, General Lee, Dusty Dillinger, Matt Mason, Brian Beech and more!
