FIRESTORM PRO is proud to announce that on Friday night August 21st we will return to the Phantasy Theater (11800 Detroit Rd) with “Something to Die For 2009″ This show is open to fans of all ages. Doors open at 7:00 PM and the action will begin at 7:30.
Tickets for this event are only $8.00.

Fans who were in attendance at “WAR GAMES” email us at Firestormpro@gmail.com for details on how to take advantage of the special offer JC made to each of you at the show.

Undisputed Firestorm Pro Heavyweight Championship Match
RAYMOND ROWE (c) vs PATRICK HAYES

Back at “Dead Man Walking” PATRICK HAYES defeated STARLESS to become the Number 1 Contender for the Undisputed Firestorm Pro Heavyweight Championship. However, due to constant ducking by then champion “Big League” JOHN McCHESNEY, he did not defend his Championship since February until being forced into it by THE AFTERMATH at “Take It Back 2009″ in May. Although he was successful in that defense, McCHESENY lost his title at WAR GAMES when RAYMOND ROWE pinned SHANE TAYLOR following a suplex through a table. ROWE has promised to be the fighting champion that McCHESNEY never was and defend his belt at every opportunity against all comers. JC, who with the Team Firestorm victory still calls the shots in Firestorm Pro, immediately signed HAYES to be ROWE’s first opponent after winning the championship. HAYES and ROWE successfully fought side by side both at “Rise of The Real Underground” and at WAR GAMES, however, on August 21st at “Something To Die For 2009″ the two crowd favorites will square off for ROWE’s Heavyweight Championship. Both men possess a burning desire to walk out of the match wearing the Undisputed Firestorm Pro Heavyweight Championship and neither will back down until he is declared the victor. Make sure you are in attendance on August 21st to witness the outcome of what promises to be a blockbuster main event!!

Firestorm Pro Tag Team Championship Match
THE CUT THROAT CREW vs CLUB DB

Both of these teams were victorious at WAR GAMES in order to qualify for the chance to become the first ever Firestorm Pro Tag Team Champions. THE CUT THROAT CREW defeated Firestorm vets DEAD NATION while CLUB DB squeaked past the debuting IRISH AIRBORNE by employing questionable tactics. There is still a score to be settled from the first meeting of these two teams when THE CUT THROAT CREW were left blinded by a face full of protein powder courtesy of CLUB DB. With the title belts on the line the stakes have been raised for the rematch and both teams will undoubtedly be pulling out all the stops to stand victorious at the end of the melee. August 21st its the pirates taking on the pretty boys for the ultimate tag team prize. Neither team is backing down, this one is going to be bell to bell action!! Last year at “Something To Die For 2008″ we saw MICHAEL HUTTER crowned as our first ever Heavyweight Champion. Which of these teams will go into the history books as the first to wear the Tag Team Titles?

First Time Ever Match-Up
LOU MARCONI vs M-DOGG 20

This marquee match up was scheduled to take place at WAR GAMES on July 10th. However, M-DOGG 20 informed Firestorm Pro Owner JC that due to doctor’s orders he was not medically cleared for competition on July 10th. M-DOGG not wanting to let down the Firestorm fans found a worthy replacement in MATTHEW JUSTICE. Although he would later fall victim to a MARCONI guillitine choke JUSTICE fought valiantly in M-DOGG’s stead. Before he left the ring on July 10th M-DOGG promised the fans that he would return on August 21st to wrestle mat veteran LOU MARCONI. We here at Firestorm Pro are extremely proud to be host to the first ever meeting inside a ring of two of the most recognizable wrestling names ever to come out of Cleveland. MARCONI forever left his mark on the Cleveland wrestling scene with his work during the 90s and the early part of this decade. He trained under the legendary CHARLIE FULTON and competed numerous times for both the then WWF and the original ECW. He has been in the ring with a veritable who’s who of wrestling legends and throughout his career has held an enormous amount of championship gold. He recently stepped back into the ring to bring back respect to the sport of professional wrestling, even if that meant he had to bruise the egos and bodies of the younger generation of wrestlers in the process. M-DOGG 20 has spent the better part of the last decade continually raising the bar for athletic and acrobatic matches not only all over the North American continent but across Europe and Japan as well. Every time that he steps foot in the squared circle it seems that he re-writes the laws of physics and defies the laws of gravity with his spectacular moveset. It is a rare occasion to catch him in between international tours, and the fans of Firestorm Pro are truly going to be witness to a match for the ages on August 21st. It’s old school vs new school in its purest sense. Who will prevail when the wily mat veteran crosses swords with the “Innovator of Aerial Insanity”??

Former Champion “Big League” JOHN McCHESNEY will be in action!

“Big League” JOHN McCHESENEY’s dreams of running Firestorm Pro and driving JC out of business have been shattered. His hand picked team of hitters failed. His unstoppable monster SHANE TAYLOR suffered a crushing defeat. He has lost his coveted Undisputed Firestorm Pro Heavyweight Championship. And worst of all is the knowledge that he has no one to blame but himself. Everything had gone according to plan for Team Big League. AFTERMATH was down following a tremendous beating, STARLESS and PATRICK HAYES had both been driven through a table by SHANE TAYLOR, and JC and RAYMOND ROWE had both been laid low by a pair of sickening chair shots. All McCHESNEY needed to do was to cover the barely conscious ROWE for the easy pinfall and the victory, the title, and the company would be all his! Instead he took the opportunity to taunt the bleeding JC who had been strung up against the cage using ROWE’s white bandannas. Then he retrieved a table from ringside and set it into the corner. As he was readying to finish ROWE off by putting him through the table, he saw that STEPHANIE had pushed ROWE’s fiancee SAMANTHA ANNE into the cage. Again foregoing the sure victory McCHESNEY decided to rub salt into an open wound and he grabbed SAMANTHA and shoved her face first into the cage!! He was screaming at her and then whipped her around and drew his fist back to strike, and to the horror of the fans in attendance kissed her!!! He sauntered back onto the ring apron only to be met by an enraged ROWE who sent him flying face first into the cage with a viscious running double knee strike. McChesney has been forced to wallow in his wasted opportunities every day since WAR GAMES. JC has ordered McCHESNEY to be in action on August 21st and promised the former champion something “special.” What does JC have in mind??? How will McCHESNEY deal with the fact that if not for his own malicious ways, he would be the owner of Firestorm Pro and still be the Heavyweight Champion. He must look himself in the mirror every morning and know that he literally sealed his own defeat with a kiss.

ALSO APPEARING: J-ROCC, “Big League” BILL COLLIER, KENNIE HENDRIX, ANGELDUST, “Big League” STEPHANIE, “Big League” SHANE TAYLOR, SAMANTHA ANNE, AFTERMATH, VICKI, DEAD NATION, NICKIE VALENTINO, COLIN TO THIS, MATTHEW JUSTICE, THE IRISH AIRBORNE, and a lot of other people that Firestorm thought was important enough to CAPITALIZE and put 4 exclamation points behind their names!!!!

REMEMBER FANS: Firestorm Pro presents “Something To Die For 2009″ on Friday night August 21st at The Phantasy Theatre. Doors at 7 PM. Tickets ONLY $8.00. More information and updates avaialable at www.FirestormPro.com.

We have received word that current Firestorm Pro Owner JC has JUST signed a contract that will change the future of Firestorm Pro forever! He has been extrememly busy making deals and signing contracts to safeguard Firestorm’s future in the event of a hostile Big League take over. All that he would say about this most recent change is that “Now, no matter what happens in the cage Friday night, the future of Firestorm Pro will be secure going forward.” How can he know what changes Big League would make if he takes control?? How can JC be so confident going into a show where the stakes absolutely could not be higher? What does he have planned?

All of the details regarding JC’s newly inked blockbuster deal will be revealed at WAR GAMES tomorrow at The Phantasy Theatre. Make sure you are there to witness a night that promises to be full of fast paced action and excitement, amazing matches, ground shaking changes, and major announcements!

No one knows what the landscape of Firestorm Pro will look like following the WAR GAMES steel cage match taking place Friday. All that is certain is that after tomorrow night Firestorm Pro and professional wrestling in Cleveland will NEVER be the same again!

Doors open at 7:00 PM. We will see you there!

New Stipulation Added to Firestorm: War Games

Firestorm Pro would like to take this opportunity to announce that on August 21st we will return to The Phantasy Theatre for “Something To Die For 2009.” As everyone will remember “Something To Die For 2008″ saw the crowning of our first ever Undisputed Firestorm Pro Heavyweight Champion in “The Deviant” MICHAEL HUTTER. HUTTER later had to vacate the crown when he signed a developmental contract with WWE and the vacated title was captured by “Big League” JOHN McCHESNEY. He has done everything in his power to control the direction of the company since being crowned Champion and that has led to the stipulation that this Friday’s 8 man WAR GAMES match is built around. If Team Big League wins, he will officially gain complete control of Firestorm Pro. However, should Team Firestorm win, whoever scores the victory will be crowned the new Undisputed Firestorm Pro Heavyweight Champion.

With the future of the company under JC’s control being in serious peril, JC has been working furiously behind the scenes to sign as many binding contracts as he can to protect his vision for Firestorm’s future against the possibility of a Big League controlled Company. In light of some of these back room deals, we can proudly announce that regardless of the outcome of the WAR GAMES match this Friday, “Something To Die For 2009″ will go on as scheduled on August 21st and it will feature not one but TWO main event matches. Main event number one will feature the two tag teams that win their respective matches at WAR GAMES. The victorious teams will square off in August to determine who will become the first ever Firestorm Pro Tag Team Champions!! Also at “Something To Die For 2009,” Number One Contender PATRICK HAYES will step into the ring to take on the reigning Undisputed Firestorm Pro Heavyweight Champion JOHN McCHESNEY. However, if PATRICK HAYES were to score the victory on July 10th and be crowned the new Champion, he will face off with the next highest ranked heavyweight contender.

What will the future bring for Firestorm Pro? Will “Something To Die For 2009″ be the funeral of Firestorm Pro Wrestling? Who will be left standing victorious at the end of WAR GAMES? Be there LIVE on July 10th at The Phantasy Theatre at 7 PM to find out!!!

Team Firestorm
(PATRICK HAYES, RAYMOND ROWE, THE AFTERMATH, STARLESS)

vs.

Team Big League
(JOHN McCHESNEY, SHANE TAYLOR, J-ROCC, BILL COLLIER)

Ever since the very first Firestorm Pro show in December of 2007 “Big League” JOHN McCHESNEY has done his best to disrupt the direction of the company and force events to unfold as he sees fit. And at every turn he has met opposition to his selfish designs. The first to step in his path was MICHAEL HUTTER fresh off reconstructive knee surgery. When McCHESNEY callously attacked HUTTER’s knee RAYMOND ROWE was quick to come to his friends aid. For the next eight months ROWE and McCHESNEY battled back and forth across the width and breadth of Firestorm Pro. With the signing of the powerful super-heavyweight SHANE TAYLOR to his “Team Big League” and the departure of MICHAEL HUTTER to WWE’s developmental territory FCW in Florida the balance of power seemed to shift for good in McCHESNEY’s favor. He rampaged through Firestorm Pro literally spitting in Firestorm Pro Owner JC’s face, stealing the Undisputed Heavyweight Championship from HUTTER on his final show for Firestorm, using TAYLOR to repeatedly take out ROWE, and terrorizing anyone who tried to stop him. The tides again shifted as Patrick Hayes became the number one contender for the Undisputed Firestorm Pro Heavyweight Championship and he together with ROWE brought the fight to McCHESNEY and Team Big League. This drove McCHESNEY over the edge and he stepped up his attacks again. This prompted Firestorm Pro Owner JC to lay down the heaviest challenge of his life. He confronted McCHESNEY and said that he was going to end everything on July 10th. He challenged McCHESNEY to assemble a team of 4 men to take on JC’s team of 4 men in a War Games Steel Cage match. He promised the match would contain tables, ladders, and chains. McCHESNEY agreed with the condition that if his team were victorious he would gain control of FIRESTORM PRO!!! JC agreed adding that if his team were victorious McCHESNEY would lose his Heavyweight title!!! 3 men on each side were chosen that night, RAYMOND ROWE, PATRICK HAYES, and THE AFTERMATH for Team Firestorm and JOHN McCHESNEY, SHANE TAYLOR, and J-ROCC for Team Big League. Each team had to find a final member at “Take It Back 2009.” JC had a surprise 4th member up his sleave and actually turned down STARLESS’s offer to fight for Team Firestorm. At the end of the night as all hell broke loose in the ring following the main event, all 6 participants of the War Games match were brawling in and around the ring when the 6’4” 270 pound BILL COLLIER came to the ring followed by a triumphant JC. Here was his ace in the hole, a sure fire ringer, the dominant COLLIER would tip the power and strength advantage firmly to Team Firestorm. To his horror, when COLLIER entered the ring he immediately turned on ROWE annihilating him with a devastating elevated powerbomb. Team Firestorm was at the mercy of Team Big League and they prepared to launch the final offensive when the light went out on both teams. As the lights came back on STARLESS flew from the top of the 20′ scaffolds in the entrance way and took out all 7 men. JC then asked him to be the 4th member of Team Firestorm which he immediately accepted.

The battle lines have been drawn. The sides have been chosen. All that is left is for these warriors to step foot into the cold steel cage and ring the bell and begin this brutal war of attrition. Make sure you are witness to this epic struggle for the fate of Firestorm Pro. The result of this match on July 10th will forever change the future of our company!!!

Firestorm Pro Tag Team Title Match Qualifier
THE IRISH AIRBORNE vs CLUB DB

With the fate of the company and the Undisputed Title in upheaval one thing that the fans can be assured of is that at the next Firestorm Pro show two teams will meet to determine our first ever Firestorm Pro Tag Team Champions! However, with far more than two tag teams on the Firestorm Pro roster deserving championship opportunities, who should compete for the belts? In possibly one of his last decisions as the head of Firestorm Pro JC has selected four teams to take part in two Tag Team Title Match Qualifying matches for July 10th. The winners of both qualifiers will advance into the upcoming title match. The first Qualifier match promises to be one full of contrasting styles. The debuting IRISH AIRBORNE have made a name for themselves all over the Midwest and East Coast with their hard hitting, high flying, aggressive style of tag team action. They have appeared in just about every major independent organization in this part of the country including Ring Of Honor. In every company in which they appear they always carve out a path of destruction towards the Tag Team Titles and they have vowed that Firestorm Pro will be no different. As opposed to their opponents THE IRISH AIRBORNE, CLUB DB appears to be much more concerned with how their hair looks, if their man tans are even, and if their biceps look good in their popped collared shirts, and making sure that you hear about how good they look over and over and over again than training hard for upcoming matches. Don’t let their pre-occupation with their looks fool you however, this was the team who successfully debuted with a win over THE CUTTHROAT CREW at “Take It Back 2009″ thanks to a fist full of protein powder. What they may lack in preperation they seem to make up for in underhanded tactics. Will CLUB DB keep their party rolling on July 10th or will THE IRISH AIRBORNE play spoilers and make a successful debut and advance to the Tag Team Title Match??

Firestorm Pro Tag Team Title Match Qualifier
THE CUTTHROAT CREW vs THE DEAD NATION

In the second half of the Tag Team Title Match Qualifiers taking place at “War Games” we find two teams coming from completely opposite perspectives. Despite coming off a recent loss to the debuting CLUB DB due to a fistful of protein powder to the eyes, THE CUTTHROAT CREW have to be hands down favorites going into this Tag Team Title hunt. Pirates are by their nature always aggressive and always focused when gold is on the line, and THE CUTTHROAT CREW are not only looking for gold but also are trying to get back to their winning ways. In the unenviable position of stepping into the ring across from a couple of angry pirates is THE DEAD NATION. For months DEAD NATION leader RYAN BURKE seemed lost amid a flood of different tag team partners and fake cousins thrown his way by Firestorm Pro Management to fill out “The Burke Nation.” Two shows ago however, he came out with his own pick to be his partner in KEVIN BRADWAY. BURKE then announced that the Burke Nation was dead. In its place would stand BRADWAY and BURKE, THE DEAD NATION. In their first outing they did not get the start they wanted but rebounded at “Take It Back 2009″ with a victory over the team of MATTHEW JUSTICE and AKIRA. They are going to try and keep their momentum going and roll into the Tag Team Championship match in August. However on July 10th they face a team that has been teaming together for years. Will the familiarity between THE CUTTHROAT CREW be the decisive edge one team needs over the other? Or will the team of THE DEAD NATION prove that they are a force to be reckoned with in the Firestorm Pro tag team division??

“Big League” STEPHANIE vs VICKI

During the main event of “Take It Back 2009″ just as THE AFTERMATH had the Undisputed Firestorm Pro Heavyweight Championship match against JOHN McCHESNEY almost won, STEPHANIE snuck into the ring wielding the title belt as a weapon and was about to smash THE AFTERMATH in the head with it when VICKY sprinted down the ramp and into the ring and leveled STEPHANIE with a flying tackle that would make an NFL linebacker proud. That left THE AFTERMATH alone in the ring with VICKY at long last and when they finally embraced it was magic. Their joy was to be short lived however as McCHESNEY attacked from behind and was quickly joined by SHANE TAYLOR and J-ROCC. VICKY demanded a match with STEPHANIE in order to give her a measure of payback for her attacks against her new man, THE AFTERMATH. Taking advantage of his executive powers in Firestorm Pro before he might lose them following the War Games match, JC quickly signed this grudge match for July 10th. With no one to hide behind, how will STEPHANIE deal with the furious VICKY? This promises to be a knock down drag out fight. No slapping and hair pulling here.

Also Appearing: LOU MARCONI, DEAD NATION, SAMANTHA ANNE, AKIRA, MATTHEW JUSTICE, NICKIE VALENTINO, COLIN TO THIS, and more T.B.A.!!!!!

FIRESTORM PRO would like to take this opportunity to invite you to come to Take It Back 2009 THE ROAD TO WAR GAMES STARTS HERE!!! Come out to the legendary PHANTASY THEATRE located at 11802 Detroit Ave. Lakewood, Ohio 44107 on May 9th to see all the stars of FIRESTORM PRO deliver another blockbuster event. Doors open for this event at 7:00 PM and the bell is at 8:00 PM. This show is open to fans of all ages.

At “Rise of the Real Underground 2009″ FIRESTORM PRO Owner JC threw down a challenge to the Firestorm Champ JOHN McCHESNEY. He told McCHESNEY that he is sick and tired of his constant attempts to disrupt the company’s vision and endless disrespect that he shows JC, the other wrestlers in FIRESTORM PRO, and all of the fans in attendance at every show. JC told McCHESNEY that in July McCHESNEY would lead TEAM BIG LEAGUE into battle against JC’s hand selected TEAM FIRESTORM in our first ever WAR GAMES styled match. JC promised a fifteen foot high steel cage, tables, chairs, and scaffolding. McCHESNEY agreed to the epic match only if JC agreed to a few terms, he demanded that the match be a one fall winner takes all format and that if TEAM BIG LEAGUE were victorious in July that JOHN McCHESNEY would assume full and total control of FIRESTORM PRO!!! JC agreed but added a stipulation of his own, if TEAM FIRESTORM is victorious; whoever scores the victory will be crowned the NEW Undisputed Firestorm Pro Heavyweight Champion!!! The news of these titanic terms have shocked everyone in the entire company. Both control of FIRESTORM PRO and the Undisputed Firestorm championship are on the line!!!! The ramifications from this match will literally change the course of this companys history. You do not want to miss a minute of the action on May 9th as both TEAM FIRESTORM and TEAM BIG LEAGUE look for the final members to complete their four man teams. THE ROAD TO WAR GAMES STARTS MAY 9th!!!!!!

Already Signed

Undisputed Firestorm Pro Heavyweight Champion “Big League” JOHN McCHESNEY vs THE AFTERMATH

This match headlines a night full of “first time evers” for FIRESTORM PRO. THE AFTERMATH has had his hands full month after month dealing with the enraged J-ROCC and back to back challengers hand picked by “The Big Daddy” who were paid to take him out. At each turn, THE AFTERMATH bucks the odds and rises to meet the challenge. He always finds a way to snatch victory from the jaws of defeat. He is the consummate underdog. A small frame that can barely contain the courageous heart that beats within. However standing across the ring from THE AFTERMATH on May 9th is a man who has used any means necessary to get what he wants since the birth of FIRESTORM PRO. McCHESNEY has already selected 2 other members of his 4 man team. He will sure to be on the lookout for a fourth member who impresses him on May 9th. What will the champion’s strategy be coming into the match? With all of his TEAM BIG LEAGUE members wrestling earlier in the night, who will be in a condition to be ringside when the champion finally steps into the squared circle? Will we FINALLY see McCHESNEY have to stand alone and on his own?? Never one to let little things like rules, ethics, or even basic human decency get in his way when victory is on his mind, what will the Champion have in store for THE AFTERMATH knowing full well that he is a member of TEAM FIRESTORM and will be trying to wrest his prized title from him in July? Also motivating McCHESNEY is the fact that his former mentor J-ROCC has been the one trying to eliminate THE AFTERMATH for months. Will the student be able to accomplish what the teacher has yet to do? If McCHESNEY does succeed in knocking THE AFTERMATH out of commission will TEAM FIRESTORM have enough time to recover and select a new team mate? This match is truly a powder keg just waiting to explode!! Does THE AFTERMATH have another upset hidden up his sleeve or will his luck run out when he steps into the ring with the Champ?

“The Big Daddy of Destruction” J-ROCC w/ VICKY vs RAYMOND ROWE w/ SAMANTHA ANNE

This is a match up of true polar opposites. J-ROCC loves to talk. ROWE does his talking in the ring. J-ROCC is a schemer; he will use any of the tricks up his sleeve and sometimes some blatantly questionable tactics to secure a victory. ROWE comes at his opponents like a bulldozer, straight forward he simply attacks and keeps coming until his hand is raised at the end of the night. J-ROCC’s finishing maneuver “The One Hitter Quitter” is a modified DVD designed to score a pinfall after landing it. ROWE’s trademark finisher is an elevated knee strike to the back of the head he calls “The Death Rowe” and he’s looking for a knockout when it lands. J-ROCC once had 4:20 emblazoned across his tights and leads a life of vice and excess “worthy of a star.” ROWE is straight edge and blue collar in both his lifestyle and work ethic. On top of all their other differences, J-ROCC has been going through some loyalty issues with his valet and female companion VICKY. She has repeatedly hesitated when J-ROCC has called on her to help him cheat to victory and adamantly refused to help J-ROCC in his attempts to injure THE AFTERMATH. Questions and rumors have begun to fly in the locker room and J-ROCC has become increasingly violent in his treatment of VICKY ensuring that if for no other reason she will stay by his side out of fear. ROWE meanwhile is engaged to SAMANTHA ANNE and she repeatedly has stepped in and fought off attempted interference from “Big League” STEPHANIE during his matches. And at the contract signing between ROWE and McCHESNEY when McCHESNEY crossed the lines with his taunts SAMANTHA ANNE slapped the taste out of the Champion’s mouth nearly sparking a riot. Seemingly the only thing that these two opponents have in common is that they are both gunning for a victory for their respective teams leading into WAR GAMES in July. How will J-ROCC’s paranoia over VICKY and his obsession with THE AFTERMATH affect his mental preparation and concentration during what promises to be a slug fest?

“Big Leauge” SHANE TAYLOR vs PATRICK HAYES

SHANE TAYLOR is a physical freak. A former collegiate All-American wrestler who stands 6’1” and weighs 350 pounds, he is blessed with an uncanny athletic ability for a man his size. He throws a lariat that nearly decapitates opponents when it lands. All of these attributes could make someone a hands down favorite to become a champion, however, TAYLOR has chosen a different path. He became the hired gun for McCHESNEY’s TEAM BIG LEAGUE and has been wreaking havoc on the Firestorm roster ever since. He has been instrumental in not only McCHESNEY’s title win but also in keeping the belt firmly around the Champ’s waist. His opponent on May 9th will be the Number One Contender to McCHESNEY’s title PATRICK HAYES. HAYES has earned his reputation for playing hard and partying harder. His pre and post match celebrations with fans are the stuff of legends. Recently though, the things that are standing out the most are the things that HAYES has been accomplishing in between the bells. He has quietly collected a string of victories over some very impressive opponents. He has beaten bigger men (KENNY HENDRIX) faster men (STARLESS) more physically gifted men (M-DOGG) and he even scored a pinfall victory over the current Champion JOHN McCHESNEY at “Rise of the Real Underground 2009″ in the tag team main event. When he steps into the ring on May 9th he will quite literally be facing his BIGGEST challenge to date. The outcome of this match will have a huge affect on each team’s strategy heading into WAR GAMES. Will HAYES be able to defeat the seemingly unstoppable TAYLOR? Or will TAYLOR’s reign of destruction continue and ruin the party for HAYES?

ANGELDUST vs “Big League” STEPHANIE vs the debuting BRITTANY FORCE

The last time that ANGELDUST and STEPHANIE were in a ring together SHAWN BLAZE debuted his secret weapon in his war against ANGELDUST and when he lured her out of the ring KENNY HENDRIX came out of nowhere and annihilated her. At “Rise of the Real Underground 2009″ ANGELDUST evened the score with BLAZE defeating him in a singles match despite HENDRIX’s interference and forced him to wear a dress. With BLAZE now in her rearview mirror she has re-focused herself onto clearing out the growing Women’s Division of the Firestorm Pro roster. In her way on May 9th will be “Big League” STEPHANIE who was also victorious at the last show when she defeated former WWE Hardcore Champion CYNDIE BOBCAT. Since aligning herself with TEAM BIG LEAUGE there has been nothing but controversy following STEPHANIE wherever she goes. To add to this already potentially show stealing match is the debuting BRITTANY FORCE. BRITTANY comes to Firestorm from a successful run in numerous companies all over Pennsylvania. She has been a champion almost everywhere that she goes and is no stranger to high profile women’s matches. She is going to be looking to make a big splash when she lands in Firestorm on May 9th. This is not going to be a pillow swinging slumber party… The fur is certainly going to fly in this catfight!!!

Also: The debut of “Big Time” BILL COLLIER, THE CUT THROAT CREW (“Ruthless” RUFIO RAPIER and “Bloody” MORTY RACKEM, THE DEAD NATION (RYAN BURKE and KEVIN BRADWAY), SHAWN BLAZE, KENNY HENDRIX, NICKIE VALENTINO, OMEGA, the debut of CLUB DB and MUCH MUCH MORE!!!

We here at Firestorm Pro would like to take this opportunity to thank all you fans who attended “Rise of the Real Underground 2009″ this past Friday Night.

We would like to apologize for the later than announced start of the matches. We were experimenting with a new format incorporating both live professional wrestling action with live music and there were unfortunately a few technical difficulties that resulted in the later start. For the most part, we have gotten very good reviews from the new format and look forward to further innovation on future shows. We had planned on starting the wrestling action just slightly after 8 PM (our normal bell time) and we were not able to make that happen. We started closer to 8:50 and understand that some fans were frustrated with the delay. However the crowd that was in attendance was as they always are very vocal and had a great time from the opening bell to the close of the final match. We pledge to clearly mark belltime in the future so that that this will not be an issue for future shows.

Also for any fans who have questions about the direction of our product or the actions of members of the crowd allow us the opportunity to state our point of view. Professional wrestling is at its core a violent means of entertainment. We strive to bring you the fans a compelling and exciting show from start to finish every single time and we also try to limit the in ring action and content to a certain degree so that fans of all ages can come and enjoy our shows. At worst we feel our in ring product has been PG – 13. There was as all of you know an unfortunate incident on our first show that was admittedly much worse than that, and we have taken steps to avoid any situation since then that could potentially spiral out of control like that. We do employ security guards for all of our events and they do their jobs at crowd control very well. However, we are unable to police the crowd to prohibit them from swearing at wrestlers, as that is their right to express themselves as long as they do not cross the line into endangering themselves, other fans, or the wrestlers and staff. We will make an effort to encourage fans at all future events to be more courteous to their fellow fans so that everyone can have a safe and enjoyable experience.

For those of you who missed out on the great action here are the results.

Paid attendance was 264.

“Big League” Stephie (with Colin To This, Shane Taylor, John McChesney) pinned Cyndi Bobcat following a belt shot from the Firestorm Pro title behind special guest referee April Hunter’s back.

After the match John McChesney got into the ring and began to sing happy birthday to Stephie insulting both the crowd and the promotion until Firestorm Pro Owner JC made his way to the ring accompanied by Raymond Rowe and Patrick Hayes. JC told McChesney that he was tired of him trying to run the show and officially made the challenge for a War Games styled match up pitting Team Firestorm (captained by Rowe and Hayes) against Team Big League (captained by McChesney and Taylor) in June. He then told McChesney to start looking for teammates because he already had wrestlers “lining up” to fight Team Big League.

Shawn Blaze (with Kennie Hendrix) was forced to wear a dress after Angel Dust beat him by DQ. Shawn Blaze had originally won the match by forcing Angel Dust to tape out to a Sharpshooter, he refused to break the hold after the bell and the decision was reversed and he was disqualified. When the ref ordered Blaze to don the dress Hendrix leveled the referee with a brutal lariat and the duo began to walk out unscathed when the Cut Throat Crew emerged swords drawn and forced Shawn Blaze to wear the dress. He was none too pleased and loudly voiced his protests.

Colt Cabana pinned J-Rocc with a roll up following an inadvertant slap from Vicki. J-Rocc enraged by his loss following the great back and forth actions with Cabana took his mounting frustrations out on Vicki by dragging her up the ramp by her hair. J-Rocc then upped his “open bounty” on Aftermath and he did not have to wait long for someone to take up the opportunity to make some money at the expense of someone else’s health…

Kennie Hendrix returned to the ring to challenge the Aftermath and try his had at collecting J-Rocc’s bounty. Unfortunately for the usually dominant Hendrix, pinned him following a 216 spinning kick through the ropes followed up with a flying clothesline from the top rope. This victory marks the second time the Aftermath has been able to defeat an opponent hand picked to take him out by J-Rocc. Will he continue to beat the odds and his opponents or will the Big Daddy’s hatred catch up with Cleveland’s best loved high flyer?

Ryan Burke came to the ring and announced that he was sick of Firestorm Pro trying to masquerade fake cousins and brothers of his to populate a fictitious Burke Nation, he was out to introduce the “Dead Nation” to Firestorm Pro and himself and tag partner Kevin Bradway were set to take the company by storm. Unfortunately the “Cut Throat Crew” Morty Rackem & Rufio Rapier were there to play spoilers and emerged victorious from the tag team 3 way dance over “Dead Nation” and the team of Nickie Valentino & Marcus Knight following a Rapier swanton bomb.

The main event was a vicious back and forth battle that saw all 4 competitors coming close to victory and barely avoiding defeat. The action spilled out of the ring often and neither team was asking for or giving any quarter. In the end Raymond Rowe and Patrick Hayes were victorious over Undisputed Firestorm Pro Heavyweight Champion John McChesney and Shane Taylor following a Death Rowe from Rowe and a Frog Splash by Hayes finished off McChesney for the pinfall.
