Tommy Blaze def. Big Jim Hutchinson & Evan Steel to win the 2010 Silver Cup Classic

I got the win after reversing a rollup by Sharp into a crossface submission. Sharp struggled to get to the ropes, but lost consciousness before he could get there.

As General Manager of DCW, Blaze interjected himself into the finals of the Silver Cup Classic, after Hutchinson pinned Steel. Blaze brutally attacked Hutchinson’s knee with the cup, and Hutchinson had to be taken to the hospital to have his knee checked out.

DCW returns to Piqua on July 17th with a free outdoor event.

For some reason I think I’m missing a match here.

I got the win over Jordan when he tried to counter a Russian Sickle with a Crucafix rollup, but i countered that into a Russian Leg Sweep, followed by la Escalera, for the submission victory. I liked the match a lot – Jordan really brought his A-game and we went at it hard on the mat. It was only his third show for DCW, but he did a pretty good job of getting the fans behind him. He wrestled with one of my longtime rivals, Daron Smythe, while competing in the Florida territories, so we had a really good match for never having faced each other before.

Jeff Richards & “Mr. Reality Check” Big Jim Hutchinson defend the championship against ”Lunatic” Jon Austin & Tommy Blaze

After months of tormenting rookie Jeff Richardson, DCW General Manager Tommy Blaze and Jon Austin used every underhanded trick in the book to keep the DCW Tag Team Championship belts around their waists – including attacking Jeff Richards’ tag team partner KY Jordan in Piqua right before the match. But, Blaze’s arch enemy Big Jim Hutchinson came to the rescue, and filled in as Richards’ partner, and the duo of fan favorites walked away with the gold. Now, Blaze has enforced the rematch clause in the contract, and he and Austin will get a shot to get the gold back on April 3rd. Will the champions have the advantage, being able to prepare for the rule breaking duo, or will the former champs have a trick up their sleeve?

”Midnite” Matt Ryan defends the championship against DJ Tom Sharp

Since returning from injury, DJ Tom Sharp has proven himself to be one of the most popular wrestlers on the DCW roster. At the same time, the new attitude of Matt Ryan has made him one of the most despised. Sharp is a fun-loving free spirit looking to entertain the fans and have a good time. Ryan is turning into an old-school bully looking to hurt people that get in his way. Sharp is looking to add a championship belt to his wardrobe, while Ryan is looking to keep the Mid-Ohio Championship belt in his possession. Who will walk away the champ when these two collide in Springfield?

#1 Contender’s Grudge Match
”Real Deal” Evan Steel vs. Shawn Draven

Shawn Draven almost walked away from the 7th Anniversary Show as the DCW Heavyweight Champion – but Evan Steel inexplicably cost Draven the Ladder Match when he pushed over the ladder Draven was climbing, just as his hand was on the belt. Steel, who has never been afraid to break the rules or to hear the booing of the fans, had no apparent reason to get involved in the match. In fact, after racking up impressive wins recently in singles competition, Steel was becoming a fan favorite – or so it seemed. Draven is still looking for another shot at the heavyweight championship, and Steel has entered himself into the title picture. Which man will walk away with the next chance to challenge for the area’s most prestigious singles championship?

Dynamic Championship Wrestling returned to The National Guard Armory in Piqua, OH on March 13, 2010 for their huge 7th Anniversary Show. For seven years, Dynamic Championship Wrestling has been setting the standard for professional wrestling in the Greater Dayton and Great Miami Valley. Now, to celebrate our anniversary, DCW returns to where it all began – the Piqua National Guard Armory!

On Saturday night March 13th Dynamic Championship Wrestling presents the 7th Anniversary Show Spectacular live from the National Guard Armory in Piqua, OH. This is a bloody feud that has been building for months! Nikita Allanov maliciously tried to cripple Shawn Draven with an outside the ring attack on his neck. When Draven returned to action, he vowed to payback the “Soviet Shooter” for the bodies he had left in his wake. However, the DCW Heavyweight Champion has been able to stay ahead of his nemesis. At the 7th Anniversary Event, the high-flying Draven will have the advantage, as the championship belt will be hung high above the ring, and the winner will be the man to take possession of the belt first! Will Draven finally have the advantage, and will we see a title change hands? Or, will Allanov continue to make Draven pay the price physically for chasing the championship?

Mid-Ohio Championship Match – Fans Bring the Weapons Streetfight

‘Two friends that traveled up and down the road together’. For many years, that was a good way to describe the relationship between Matt Ryan and Big Jim Hutchinson. But, all that changed when Ryan attacked Hutchinson in Springfield last December. Now, Ryan is sporting a new attitude, a new look, and has taken to calling himself the best technical wrestler in DCW. And, he has the Mid-Ohio Championship around his waist to back up his claim. “Mr. Reality Check” has promised to take the championship from Ryan to knock him down a peg or two, and has challenged “Midnite Matt” to a streetfight. Ryan has vowed to not take part in this match, as he is a mat technician, not a street hoodlum. Hutchinson has vowed to cave Ryan’s skull in. This should be an epic war – and the DCW fans can bring the plunder!!!

Anniversary Rumble
In the last seven years, a great many wrestlers have stepped through the ropes to compete in the Dynamic Championship Wrestling ring. Dynamic Championship wrestling has a strong roster of stars competing on our events now. Many up-and-comers are looking to compete in front of the great Dynamic Championship Wrestling fans in the future. In the 7th Anniversary Rumble, all three will meet, as stars from the past, present, and future collide in a battle royal for bragging rights.
