Championship Wrestling Experience is proud to present Path of Destruction III, on Sunday May 2nd, 2010 from The Eastwood Expo Center. The Eastwood Expo is located at 5555 Youngstown Warren Rd, Niles, OH. The doors to the event open at 4:00pm and the event begins promptly at 5:00pm. Tickets are available in advance at Havana House in Niles and Boardman and Plaza Book and Smoke in Austintown. This event is part of a show being taped for Sports Time Ohio, and will not just feature your favorite CWE stars, but also the stars of one of the fastest rising promotions in the country in Pro Wrestling Ohio! Now onto CWE’s portion of the event:
PATRICK HAYES SETS HIS SIGHTS ON REVENGE AGAINST RYAN MITCHELL
Everyone remembers the situation very well. It was October 23rd, 2009. Hayes had just lost the CWE Undisputed Title he held for some seven months to Michael Facade. After the match, when he needed his partner Ryan Mitchell the most, Mitchell showed his selfish side and proceeded to take Hayes out and even cut some of his ginger locks off. No one heard anything from Hayes for months, and the unthinkable happened when CWE announced their card for January 24th: Hayes was not listed. Mitchell defeated newcomer Lince Dorado. That wouldn’t be the last time we would see Mitchell on the card. After Facade defended his Undisputed Title, Mitchell came from the back to attack and attempt to injure him. To everyone’s shock, Hayes ran from the back, and proceed to lay Mitchell out. It was inevitable that this match had to take place. May 2nd, after six months of waiting, Hayes will look for revenge for what Mitchell did to him.
OSIRIAN PORTAL GOES TO JAPAN; UNABLE TO APPEAR ON MAY 2ND. WHO WILL AEROFORM FACE OFF AGAINST?
CWE officials have been working for some time to bring the duo from the Nile into the company, and were sure that finally on May 2nd it would take place. Unfortunately, the slithery snake and phunky pharaoh were approached by Zero-1 in Japan and will debuting across the pond. While many congratulations go out to the talented duo, the show must go on. While opponents have not yet been named for Louis Lyndon and Flip Kendrick, collectively known as Aeroform, the word on the street is that a potentially surprising opponent may loom in the background. After defending his title against three other men in January, the suburban terrorist Michael Facade has been heard saying he may want to step into the ring with Lyndon and Kendrick if he were to find the proper partner. We’ll have more on this situation as it develops.
SHIIMA XION TAKES ON THE RETURNING GRAN AKUMA IN WHAT WILL BE A HIGH FLYING, HARD HITTING AFFAIR
Shiima Xion started off 2010 in CWE with a hard fought effort in an attempt to regain the CWE Undisputed Title in a four way match in January against champion Michael Facade and fellow challengers Jigsaw and Hallowicked. While he was not successful in his quest, he managed to walk away holding his head high because it was not his shoulders being pinned to the mat. Gran Akuma also did not taste victory, but he made his CWE return a memorable one, squaring off with Raymond Rowe in Rowe’s final match with the company. In the weeks leading up to the May 2nd event, CWE officials tossed around and even announced a match featuring Xion, but then decided that the best all around match would be Xion vs. Akuma. This is truly cut down the middle. Will the high flying style of Xion prevail, or will the hard hitting, swift kicking disposition of Akuma prove him to be victorious?
KEVIN BRADWAY PUTS OUT AN OPEN CHALLENGE TO COMPETITION, AND GETS MORE THAN HE BARGAINS FOR
At Three Years Later in January, Kevin Bradway pulled out a cheap victory against his long time nemesis Ryan Burke. It took everyone ounce of tights in his hand to pull off the victory. And of course, in typical Kevin Bradway style, he has let his victory go straight to his head. In the weeks following the anniversary event, Bradway ran his mouth to anyone and everyone who would listen. He wanted the biggest and the best in the world to appear to face him on May 2nd. Even he didn’t expect it to happen like he did. CWE officials got a mysterious message from a man known only as Tursas that he would accept Bradway’s challenge on May 2nd. Upon doing research, Bradway found out that Tursas was no less than 6’5″ and 365 pounds. Bradway immediately tried to pull out of the challenge, but the paperwork was already signed, and he MUST wrestle Tursas on May 2nd. We have a feeling that we haven’t heard the last from Bradway on this matter.
RYAN BURKE FACES OFF WITH FRIGHTMARE
After having a strong 2009, Ryan Burke had to be a little disappointed in the results of his match with Kevin Bradway. If there is anything that Burke could hold his head up about was the fact that he wrestled his heart out, and for all intensive purposes should have been victorious in his match. After seeing the display of athleticism put forth by Burke, officials found someone who would provide an appropriate challenge for him. His name is Frightmare. The kinetic ball of energy known as Frightmare has been making waves on the independent circuit all over the northeast, and finally makes his long awaited debut for CWE againt Ryan Burke. This will pit two fast paced styles together in what will surely be an exciting matchup.
MORE TO BE ANNOUNCED SOON!

This event is part of a show being taped for Sports Time Ohio, and will not just feature your favorite CWE stars, but also the stars of one of the fastest rising promotions in the country in Pro Wrestling Ohio! Now onto CWE’s portion of the event:
CWE UNDISPUTED CHAMPION MICHAEL FACADE DEFENDS AGAINST FORMER CHAMPION SHIIMA XION, THE RETURNING JIGSAW AND THE DEBUTING HALLOWICKED!
Michael Facade accomplished a career long quest to become CWE Undisputed Champion when he defeated Patrick Hayes in October. Facade is one of the few men who has been with the CWE since the very beginning, a point in his career where the amount of matches he had wrestled was in the single digits. Flash forward three years, and Facade has pushed ahead in becoming one of the most sought after young stars in the area, and has held titles in various promotions on the East Coast. The first to step forth to challenge Facade for his title is none other than Shiima Xion, a former CWE Undisputed Champion who never got his chance to a rematch for said title, due to focusing on his quest for tag team gold along with partner Johnny Gargano. Shiima as well has become well traveled, doing time both in Japan and Mexico, as well as going all over the US in his quest for greatness. The match was signed, and then two more men stepped forward, and CWE management had no choice but to add them to the match. The first is the returning Jigsaw, who is no stranger to the CWE, or Xion, having squared off with him twice in CWE. The second is the debuting Hallowicked, who also has made a name for himself traveling the country over. This match will surely be something to remember, with action to be unlikely to be contained in the ring. Expect a lot of air time and innovative moves in this match!
RAYMOND ROWE SQUARES OFF WITH GRAN AKUMA IN A HARD HITTING AFAIR!
Raymond Rowe has been making his way through the toughest men in the CWE, and in the wrestling industry, and January 24th will be no different. Rowe, who has the reputation of being the toughest man in Youngstown, has gone toe to toe with men of the tough reputation like that of the Necro Butcher, and not only put on a strong showing, but also walked away with his hand raised in victory. 2010 could be the year that Rowe finally makes his run for the CWE Undisputed Title, but a big challenge stands in his way before he can even make his intentions known. Gran Akuma, who appeared in the CWE in 2007 in a losing effort to Johnny Gargano, will represent Rowe’s stumbling block. Akuma, who has torn a hole through much of the East Coast competition he has faced will try to do the same thing when he steps into the ring with Rowe on January 24th. This match will surely be one of the hardest hitting matches of the year, and will have major implications as far as how the title picture in the CWE will play out for the year.
RYAN BURKE FACES OFF WITH KEVIN BRADWAY!
Ryan Burke had a banner year in 2009. After making his return to the CWE at Two Years Later last year, Burke went on a streak, picking up wins over the likes of Raymond Rowe and Colin Delaney. Bradway, in some capacities, also had a noteworthy year in 2009. His was mostly for showing why someone should not mess with Rowe. Either way, if one thing was completed by both men, it was showing the CWE fans that they belonged in the CWE ring. These two met once before in 2007, and Burke came out on the winning side then, but over two years later, will he still have the edge on Bradway, or has the craftiness of Bradway become too much for Burke to overcome?

Championship Wrestling Experience is proud to present Death Comes Ripping, on Friday, October 23rd, 2009 from The Wedge Nightclub. The Wedge is located at 1743 S Raccoon Road in Austintown, Ohio. The doors to the event open at 6:30pm and the event begins promptly at 7:30pm. Tickets are available in advance for $10 at all Havana House locations. Tickets will be sold at the door the day of the show for $12. The following matches have already been signed:
PATRICK HAYES DEFENDS THE CWE UNDISPUTED TITLE AGAINST THE NECRO BUTCHER!
Patrick Hayes has had a strong run since becoming champion at March Madness. He has defended the belt against the likes of Johnny Gargano, Michael Façade and Gregory Iron. If there has been one thing Hayes has been known for during this time, it would be his undying obsession at keeping the title his through underhanded tactics and outside interference. He has aligned himself with Ryan Mitchell and Scottie Gash, but something seems to be different with him. Last month, he told Mitchell to stay out of his match with Greg. Following the match, Hayes shook the hand of Iron after he bested him in their match, which saw Mitchell interfere to the ire of Hayes. Joe Dombrowski, who had been the representative of the championship committee on that evening, informed Hayes that he had a variety of options for him depending on his actions during the match. Not believing that Hayes did not know Mitchell was going to interfere, pulled out his ultimate trump card, and announced that Hayes would have to defend the title against none other than the Necro Butcher. Necro has only made one appearance in the CWE, but it was enough to be asked to come back, but even he never thought it would be in such a manner. This match will surely be one for the ages, and one must wonder if the dissention between Hayes and Mitchell will be enough to see Necro become the CWE Undisputed Champion!
LOUIS LYNDON AND FLIP KENDRICK GET THEIR SHOT AT THE CWE TAG TEAM TITLES WHEN THEY STEP INTO THE RING WITH SEXUAL HARASSMENT!
Sexual Harassment made their first defense of the CWE Tag Team Titles a good one as they defeated the LA Gunz in a close contest. At the same time, Louis Lyndon and Flip Kendrick managed to defeat Johnny Gargano and Shiima Xion in another close match, filled with high intensity action. Any time a relatively new team can step into the ring with two former CWE Undisputed Champions and walk out the victors, it immediately puts all the other tag teams on notice. It did in such an explosive fashion that this time CWE officials had no alternative but to offer the young upstarts a shot at the biggest prize in CWE tag team wrestling. Sexual Harassment are no slouches in their own right and have two key factors over Lyndon and Kendrick: experience and Benjamin C. Steele. There is no denying that many times in the past Ben Steele has been the deciding factor, and he very well could again on this night.
JOHNNY GARGANO TAKES ON INTERNATIONAL SUPERSTAR KUSHIDA YUJIRO!
What a rocky road it has been for Johnny Gargano in the past several months in the CWE. First, he was unable to pick up the victory against Patrick Hayes in his first shot at the CWE Undisputed Title in over a year. Next, he and Shiima Xion fell short against Louis Lyndon and Flip Kendrick in a tag team match that eventually led to the winners earning a shot at the CWE Tag Team gold. This month, Johnny is back at it on his own, but this time he faces the tough challenge of international superstar Kushida Yujiro. Yujiro, of the HUSTLE promotion in Japan, is making his second appearance in the CWE.. The first time around, Kushida came up short in a four way against Lyndon, Jack Verville and Gregory Iron. With the luck of both of these men having been cooled down considerably lately, there is a lot of pressure on both of them here to pick up the victory. Will Kushida feel the Uniquely You like so many before him, or will Kushida pick up a victory that causes Gargano to shift his attention toward tag team competition?
GREGORY IRON IS COMING FOR RYAN MITCHELL!
In less than a three month span, Ryan Mitchell has managed to become one of the most hated men in the CWE locker room. First, he turned on his friend Michael Façade to allow Patrick Hayes to retain the CWE Undisputed Title. Then, he costed Gregory Iron the same honor when he interfered in his match with Patrick Hayes at Progression Through Aggression. This thoroughly aggravated the inspirational superstar, and he demanded a one on one match with Ryan Mitchell at Death Comes Ripping. Greg has been on a major hot streak this year, but Mitchell has proven that he can hang with the best of them as well. Will Greg see his steps toward CWE gold go one step further, or will Mitchell send Greg down a few rungs in the CWE rankings?
MORE MATCHES WILL BE ANNOUNCED THIS WEEK FEATURING SUPERSTARS SUCH AS: RAYMOND ROWE, HOBO JOE, BROMANCE, KEVIN BRADWAY, SEAN DAHMER AND MORE OF YOUR CWE FAVORITES!
Remember once again Championship Wrestling Experience is proud to present Death Comes Ripping, on Friday, October 23rd, 2009 from The Wedge Nightclub. Experience the best. Experience entertainment!
What is Shiima Xion’s Future with CWE?

Shiima Xion has been a part of Championship Wrestling Experience since day one. In fact, Shiima was a part of the first match in the history of the company, squaring off with current nemesis “MegaStar” Marion Fontaine and Jigsaw. Shiima’s road in the CWE has been possibly to most prolific of any current superstar, gaining victories over the likes of Faith in Nothing, Jigsaw, Pelle Primaeu, and Johnny Gargano. Undoubtedly his biggest accomplishments have been defeating Johnny Gargano for the CWE Undisputed Title, and giving Patrick Hayes his first pinfall loss after two years of being undefeated.
Due to his overwhelming abilities, Xion has been given the opportunities to tour all across the world, including his current stint in Mexico, as well as a trip to the Orient to compete with some of the worlds finest over there. Unfortunately for CWE fans, this also means that Shiima will NOT be present for the companies biggest event of the year, Culmination III.
Nick from CWE and Xion have been trying to coordinate schedules and make this happen, but alas, it was just not meant to be. During their discussion, Xion made an interesting point to Nick that caused him to really sit back and analyze the situation. Shiima had a message for his fans:
“Hola to all my Shiimarks out there. Here I am sitting in the luxurious confines of a Tulancingo, Mexico hotel, waiting to kick some more ass down here. Unfortunately, due to my commitments in Mexico, I will be unable to make CWE’s summer spectacular, Culmination III. I apologize to all my fans in Youngstown and assure them I will be back, and I will make a mark in Youngstown like I never have before. With that said, and after speaking with Nick from CWE, I am looking forward to whoever he has for me on August 29th.”
With all of that said, CWE officials have scoured the globe looking for the best competition to give Shiima Xion upon his return. They didn’t have to look too far. One person had been in contact with CWE officials since February about coming in to the company, specifically asking for Xion as an opponent. Stating that Shiima is the next generation of high intensity athlete, this internationally reknowned superstar put in his bid in to enter the CWE. After running it past the other officials, Nick from CWE signed the match. August 29th, 2009, will see…
Shiima Xion vs Sonjay Dutt!
Sonjay Dutt will make his CWE in what will undoubtedly be one of the hottest matches of the summer against an opponent he has never faced anywhere else in Shiima Xion. CWE’s summer continues to heat up. Look forward to more big announcements at Culmination III on July 31st!

Championship Wrestling Experience is proud to present their yearly tradition of wrestling excellence, Culmination III : A New Tradition, on Friday, July 31st, 2009 from The Wedge Nightclub. The Wedge is located at 1743 S Raccoon Road in Austintown, Ohio. The doors to the event open at 6:30pm and the event begins promptly at 7:30pm. Tickets are available in advance for $10 at all Havana House locations and online at www.officialcwe.com. Tickets will be sold at the door the day of the show for $12.00. Now onto the card for this historic event:
RYAN MITCHELL FINALLY GETS HIS HANDS ON SCOTTIE GASH!
At Path of Destruction II, The Bouncer was scheduled to get a shot at the CWE Undisputed Title. He had been injured earlier in the week, however. This caused Ryan Mitchell to come out and challenge Patrick Hayes for his shot at the title. Hayes took advantage of a distraction from Krystal Frost to attack Mitchell from behind. In the end, as Mitchell was about to hit The Steel Curtain and probably win the CWE Undisputed Title, an unknown wrestler ran from the back and attacked Mitchell, causing Hayes to be DQed. This wrestler was later revealed to be none other than Scottie Gash. The next month saw Gash and Hayes team to take on Facade and Mitchell. Gash and Mitchell couldn’t make it to the end of their match, as they brawled on the outside of the ring while Facade pinned Hayes. Finally, at One Step Closer II, Gash waited until the perfect time to attack Mitchell from behind and set up what is looking to be one of the most heated matches on the entire card. Will “The Spotlight” continue to shine in the CWE, or will Mitchell have his long awaited revenge?
THE BOUNCER AND TINA TEAM UP TO TAKE ON HOBO JOE AND ANGEL DUST!
The Bouncer has had a banner year in the CWE, with his only down point being at One Step Closer II when he and Tina were attacked by Hobo Joe and Angel Dust. Hobo Joe has had a lackluster ye… well.. career, and it has apparently gotten to the dumpster dweller to the point that he has snapped. More shocking and unexpected was Angel Dust attacking Tina from behind. When Angel Dust spoke to CWE management, she voiced her discouragement to being ignored and not given the opportunities she deserves. Bouncer and Tina shortly after came to management and demanded that Angel Dust and Hobo Joe wrestle them at Culmination. What other choice did management have? The match is set for Culmination III : The Bouncer and Tuff Tina against Hobo Joe and Angel Dust!
PATRICK HAYES DEFENDS THE CWE UNDISPUTED TITLE AGAINST MICHAEL FACADE IN A LAST MAN STANDING MATCH!
In an overlooked match on the card at Culmination II, Patrick Hayes defeated Michael Facade. This was not after Facade on numerous occassions had Hayes pinned, and poised for his first ever loss in the CWE. Hayes followed with an assault on Facade after he defeated Chris LeRusso at Decimation. Then things changed. For the first time, these two hungry, young athletes pushed their way through the pack, and up to the top. Patrick Hayes received his first shot at the CWE Undisputed Title against Shiima Xion at Two Years Later. While he subsequently was defeated, this match goes down as one of the best matches in the history of the company. Facade worked his way through Marion Fontaine, Chris LeRusso and Ryan Burke at the same event to gain the last entry in the next months battle royal. Fast forward, Hayes, Fontaine and Facade are the final men in said battle royal. Because of an assault to Gregory Iron early, Hayes was distracted when the handicapped superstar made an appearance after being taped up in the back. This caused Hayes to be eliminated, and the end result was Facade winning the match and having a title shot on his terms whenever he wanted. Then the unthinkable happened: Patrick Hayes defeated Xion to win the CWE Undisputed Title at March Madness. Hayes made his first defense of the title at Path of Destruction II against Ryan Mitchell. Just when it would seem as if Mitchell would hit Hayes with the Steel Curtain and pick up the victory, Scottie Gash made his debut and stopped that from becoming a reality. The two double teamed Mitchell until Facade made the save. The next month, the new found friends took part in a tag team match. Hayes and Gash tried their best to eliminate Mitchell and Facade. Gash and Mitchell ended up brawling to the outside, while Hayes hit a sequence of brainbusters on Facade. Rather than hit the frogsplash and take the pin, Hayes got cocky, and played with Facade too long, and when he went for Hazed and Confused, Facade reversed out into the Arishikage Driver and was able to pin Hayes, being only the second person in the history of the company to do this. This not only set off Hayes, but also made a startling impact to CWE management. At One Step Closer II, the announcement was made that the winner of the Facade/Burke match would receive a CWE Undisputed Title shot. Facade made the best of his opportunity, and won the match, setting the stage for his match with Hayes at Culmination III. To make things even more interesting, Facade has demanded that this match be held under last man standin rules, as a response to all the times Hayes has attacked him from behind and laid him out. Last man standing rules state that a wrestler only loses when he is downed and can not answer a ten count. Facade has raised the stakes in this match, but with good reason. “Sweet & Sour” Larry Sweeney. Shiima Xion. Can Facade join the list of the men who left Culmination with their newly found prize, or will Hayes remain on his throne as the king of the CWE?
KEVIN BRADWAY SEEKS REVENGE ON RAYMOND ROWE WITH THE NECRO BUTCHER!
It all started for Kevin Bradway at Two Years Later, after he managed to become the last man standing in the 10 man Survivor Series style match. Instantaneously, this went to his head, and he began to make brash claims about being the toughest man in the CWE. This raised the ire of Raymond Rowe at Battle Lines, and he confronted Bradway about his claims and challenged him to a match. Bradway was destroyed in quick order. This whole thing was over… or so we thought. Bradway later used his cunning to eliminate Rowe from the battle royal, and again, began running his mouth about running Raymond Rowe out of CWE. This continued for several months, until Rowe appeared from the darkness, and attacked Bradway, costing him the gauntlet match to Ryan Mitchell. Later that night, Bradway made an unwanted appearence during Rowe’s match with Burke. Using the assitance of powder, Bradway was able to cause Rowe a loss to Burke. There were no other options: Rowe and Bradway needed to square off. At Bedlam Brawl the match took place, and again, Rowe destroyed Bradway. He didn’t stop there. After the match was over, Rowe continued his assault on Bradway, giving him a beating he would not soon forget. Unfortunately for Rowe, Bradways beating was so severe that after speaking with private attorney, Attorney Richtenstein, Bradway was prepared to file legal action, both civil and criminal, against Rowe. Richtenstein contacted CWE officials, and determined to keep the incident with Rowe as minimal as possible, management caved into two of Bradways demands. The first of which was for Rowe to be suspended for 60 days, beginning the day of the assault, and ending at Culmination III. The second was that Bradway was to be able to select Rowe’s opponent for Culmination. After running through a series of possible opponents, Bradway selected the one man who could possibly stop Rowe in his steps. That man is none other than the Necro Butcher. Necro has been through some of the most violent and bloody matches in the history of the sport. He will be making his CWE debut at Culmination against Rowe. Is this finally the end for Rowe, or will Rowe prove that he is the toughest man in the sport?
FRANCHISE PLAYERS AND JOHNNY GARGANO TAKE ON BROMANCE FOR THE CWE TAG TEAM TITLES!
The Franchise Players overcame all possible obstacles when they defeated Straight Jacket Mafia for the CWE Tag Team Titles in a 2/3 Falls match at Path of Destruction II. At that very same show, Nickie Valentino convinced Shawn Blaze to turn against his partner Marcus Knight in order to take part in something that would shake the world of professional wrestling. They promised the greatest team ever to be formally announced at Bedlam Brawl. The event came around, and sure enough, everything came full circle as Marion Fontaine, Blaze and Valentino came together to form the team known simply as Bromance. This, as they explained, was to be the biggest thing in the history of professional wrestling. Unfortunately for them, they were immediately overshadowed by the tag team technical masterpiece that took place later in the evening between the Players and Johnny Gargano and Shiima Xion, collectively known as Double Barrel Terror. Bromance didn’t take long to respond. At the end of the match, all three members of the team rushed to ringside and made their presence known, and possibly costed Johnny and Shiima the gold at the same time. Challenged were laid down all around, and the stage was set for One Step Closer II. At that event, Gargano was able to defeat Fontaine. Later in the night, Fontaine got involved in the Tag Team Title match, and caused the Players to get counted out and allowed Bromance to pick up the win via countout. All six men brawled to the back, and ultimately the decision was made that this all needed to be settled, and it would be settled at Culmination III. The tag team titles are on the line in this one. Gargano has forsaken his chance at winning that gold to get his hands on Bromance. At Culmination III, there will be resolution.
RYAN BURKE LOOKS FOR REVENGE AT JIMMY DEMARCO!
Ryan Burke is another of the young guns in the CWE who have been on a hot streak as of late. After gaining victories against Raymond Rowe and Colin Delaney, Burke seemed to be at the point of his career where he would breakout. He even got the opportunity to wrestle against Facade in a match where the winner would go on to wrestle for the Undisputed Title at Culmination. While he did come up short in that match, what happened afterword ended up being the big story of the evening. Jimmy DeMarco, never having appeared before in the CWE, ran from the back, and attacked Burke. After laying him out with a stiff lariat, DeMarco proceeded to make a point that he was in the CWE for serious business. Only minutes after this took place, the match was signed for Culmination III. Will Burke add DeMarco’s name to his growing list of casulties, or will DeMarco make a bang in his debut for the CWE?
MANY MORE MATCHES TO BE ADDED AS THE WEEKS PASS INCLUDING SUPERSTARS SUCH AS GREGORY IRON, LOUIS LYNDON, KUSHIDA YUJIRO, LA GUNZ, JACK VERVILLE, SEAN DAHMER, JC SLICK AND MORE OF YOUR FAVORITE CWE SUPERSTARS!

The Wedge is located at 1743 S Raccoon Road in Austintown, Ohio. The doors to the event open at 6:30pm and the event begins promptly at 7:30pm. Tickets are available in advance for $10 at all Havana House locations and online at www.officialcwe.com. Tickets will be sold at the door the day of the show for $12. Now onto the card for this historic event:
PATRICK HAYES DEFENDS THE CWE UNDISPUTED TITLE AGAINST MICHAEL FACADE IN A LAST MAN STANDING MATCH!
In an overlooked match on the card at Culmination II, Patrick Hayes defeated Michael Facade. This was not after Facade on numerous occasions had Hayes pinned, and poised for his first ever loss in the CWE.
MANY MORE MATCHES TO BE ADDED AS THE WEEKS PASS INCLUDING SUPERSTARS SUCH AS GREGORY IRON, THE BOUNCER, RYAN MITCHELL, LOUIS LYNDON, KUSHIDA YUJIRO, TUFF TINA, HOBO JOE, LA GUNZ, SCOTTIE GASH AND MORE OF YOUR FAVORITE CWE SUPERSTARS!

Championship Wrestling Experience is proud to announce it’s next live event “One Step Closer II” on Friday, June 26th, 2009, at The Wedge Nightclub. The Wedge is located at 1743 S Raccoon Road, Austintown, Ohio 44515. Doors open at 6:30pm and the matches begin at 7:30 PM. Tickets are on sale in advance at all Havana House locations for $10.00, and will also be available day of the show for $12.00. This will be the last stop for all the talent of the CWE before the companies trademark show of the year on July 31st, Culmination III! Now onto the card for the show:
GREGORY IRON AIMS FOR REVENGE AS HE CHALLENGES PATRICK HAYES FOR THE CWE UNDISPUTED TITLE!
Ever since Battle Lines, Patrick Hayes has seemingly had it out for Gregory Iron. Undoubtedly the most inspirational wrestler on the CWE roster, Iron has time and time again fought back from the attacks from Hayes. Both of these men have truly been carving their way within the company this year. Hayes, who has long been a standout in the singles division, maintaing an undefeated streak of exactly two years, finally reached his ultimate goal at March Madness when he defeated Shiima Xion for the CWE Undisputed Title. Iron has been no slouch either. After disolving his partnership with Matthew Justice when they lost the CWE Tag Team Titles at Two Years Later, Greg has been finding a great deal of luck in the singles division, earning hard fought victories over Hobo Joe and Marion Fontaine. It was what happened after he defeated Fontaine that finally made Iron snap. After winning the match, the lights cut out, and Hayes and his newest acquisition, Scottie Gash, made their way to the ring, and although he was able to fight them off for a short time, Iron finally fell victim to the numbers game. Hayes and Gash unceremoniously put Iron down and out, and promptly grabbed the venues microphone and verbally assaulted Iron. Later in the show, Iron came out and made the challenge to Patrick Hayes for June 26th to put up or shut up. He challenged Hayes to face him like a man, one on one, in the ring, and put his CWE Undisputed Title on the line. Hayes didn’t need to accept, because as soon as Iron made this challenge, Nick from CWE was quick to sign the match. Iron will have his shot at the CWE Undisputed Title on June 26th. Will Hayes make good on his first legimate title defense, or will Iron become the first man in the history of the CWE to wear the Undisputed and Tag Team Titles?
CWE TAG TEAM TITLES ON THE LINE AS THE FRANCHISE PLAYERS DEFEND AGAINST BROMANCE!
Bedlam Brawl saw the birth of what is sure to be one of the strangest alliances in the history of the company, as Nickie Valentino, Shawn Blaze and Marion Fontaine came together to form Bromance. As if that wasn’t bad enough, the group became very angry later on in the evening, as they felt the CWE Tag Team Title match pitting The Franchise Players against Johnny Gargano and Shiima Xion was just four egos who got together to try to upstage the unveiling of their grand creation. Bromance became involved in the main event, ruining what could have been a golden opportunity for either team to truly be able to claim they were the best. After the match, Bromance was able to lay waste to the Franchise Players and Xion and Gargano, before getting on the microphone and letting their intentions be known. Thankfully, the Players and company were able to run their foes out of the ring, before laying down the challenges for One Step Closer II. If Bromance wants to get involved in the Players business, they will be glad to put up their CWE Tag Team Titles against them at One Step Closer II. The guys from Bromance accepted, and so it is set : Franchise Players and Bromance on June 26th!
JOHNNY GARGANO AND MARION FONTAINE SETTLE THEIR DIFFERENCES ON JUNE 26TH!
Johnny Gargano and Marion Fontaine have been long time standouts in the CWE singles division. Gargano is a former CWE Undisputed Champion, and Fontaine within the last several months has been on a solid run of victories, minus the loss to Gregory Iron at Bedlam Brawl. Fontaine, as stated above, has alligned himself with lackeys Blaze and Valentino, and has made enemies with the likes of Shiima and Gargano. With Shiima Xion between Mexico and Japan in the next several months, Gargano is left without a partner. But the wounds of what happened on May 29th are very fresh. Fontaine and his cohorts costed Johnny his opportunity to become one half of the CWE Tag Team Champions. Johnny wants revenge, and on June 26th, he will be coming for Marion Fontaine. Will this be Garganos opportunity to get back at Fontaine, or will the wily Fontaine manage yet again to pick up another tainted victory?
THE WAR TO SETTLE THE SCORE! FANS BRING THE WEAPONS!
For the last year, there have been differences between the LA Gunz and the Straight Jacket Mafia. Those differences were compounded when the Mafia used extreme violence against Axel of the LA Gunz at March Madness during their title shot. Even with that, the Mafia still needed to cheat to beat the LA Gunz. The Gunz were determined on revenge, so at Path of Destruction II, they helped the Franchise Players defeat the Straight Jacket Mafia for the CWE Tag Team Titles by carrying away BC Steele from ringside. Dahmer ultimately got the final word of revenge at Bedlam Brawl when he handcuffed Axel to the ring ropes and violently attacked Flea on the outside of the ring. This is a side of Dahmer that has not been seen in the CWE for some time, and one has to wonder where his partner Apollyon was at during these attacks. Dahmer laid it out on the line for June 26th: it will be the Straight Jacket Mafia and the LA Gunz, and it will end their feud, and it will be FANS BRING THE WEAPONS!
MICHAEL FACADE AND RYAN BURKE MEET ONE ON ONE!
Michael Facade has been on a serious role in 2009, starting when he won the Battle Lines Battle Royal, drawing Petey Williams, and then scoring a pinfall win over Patrick Hayes at Bedlam Brawl, only the second pinfall loss Hayes has incurred in his CWE career. Burke, on the other hand, has picked up steam, scoring victories over the likes of Raymond Rowe and Colin Delaney in consecutive months. These men will have their first one on one meeting, with huge implications on the line. Both of these men are deserving of a title shot, and Facade has one stored away to his credit. Will this be another big night for Burke, or will this move Facade one step closer to his destiny?
RAYMOND ROWE MEETS RYAN MITCHELL – BRADWAY PROMISES HUGE ANNOUNCEMENT!
Ryan Mitchell has been undefeated since coming to the CWE in January. He has left Logan Shulo, Michael Facade, and Rowe’s hated rival Kevin Bradway staring at the stars after they stepped into the ring with him. Rowe’s year, however, has been much of the opposite. While Rowe is still the most dominant force within the CWE, his win/loss record has not been very stellar in 2009, much due to the underhanded antics of one Kevin Bradway. Anyone can see that Bradway was way out of his league when he started making obsurd claims about being the toughest man in Youngstown, but has somehow managed to keep from being killed, and even managing to get a victory over Rowe, even if it was by DQ. But then Rowe snapped. He couldn’t take it anymore. No matter how thick skinned and unfeeling someone can be, there comes a point where you just snap. Rowe did serious damage to Bradway at Bedlam Brawl. Bradway had to be helped from the ring, and eventually taken to the hospital. Bradway and his attorneys have been in close contact with CWE officials, and things are not looking good. Bradway has demanded something that CWE officials do not want to allow to happen. Bradway is threatening the company and Rowe with lawsuits and worse, claiming that Rowe aggressively assaulted Bradway May 29th. CWE officials may have no choice but to let Bradway go ahead with his announcement. More on this as it develops.
THE BOUNCER FACES OFF WITH SCOTTIE GASH!
The Bouncer had his hopes of becoming CWE Undisputed Champion cut short by an ankle injury at the beginning of May. Since then, he has been on a quest, and has been going through things the right way : by working his way back up from the bottom. Bouncer won a tough match with Moondog Scrap at Bedlam Brawl, and is now moving on to the new antagonist in the CWE, Scottie Gash. Gash, who has become alligned with Hayes in the past few months, has budding issues with Ryan Mitchell that stem from Path of Destruction, when Gash jumped Mitchell to help Hayes keep the Undisputed Title. A win here will definitely propel either man closer to the top, but where will Hayes and Mitchell fit in?
SIX MAN TAG MAYHEM!
At Bedlam Brawl, Scott Prodigy defeated Shamus Finnegan by nefarious means. After this went down, Prodigy made a deal with Shamus to team up with he and Scrap and take on any three men in the CWE. Very quick to answer the challenge was Marcus Knight, who has promised to have revenge on Shawn Blaze after Blaze turned against him. Louis Lyndon, who had a tremendous showing at Path of Destruction II contacted CWE officials to make his return, and come for revenge against Prodigy, who used the assistance of the ropes to eliminate him from the gauntlet match. He informed CWE officials he would be bringing his brother, Flip Kendrick, with him to even the odds. This should be a truly unique match, as Kendrick and Lyndon are quickly becoming regarded as some of the top fliers in this area. To make things more interesting, Knight, Prodigy, and Shamus all have several variations of exciting high flying manuevers, and could as well soon gain a larger notoriety with it. And Scrap? Well… He’s just Scrap!
HOBO JOE PROMISES A WIN THIS TIME!
Hobo Joe, who admittedly has not scored a pinfall win in CWE since November of 2007, is out for blood at One Step Closer II. In the past several months, Joe has tried in vein when it comes to winning, trying to pick up wins against the likes of Gregory Iron and Moondog Scrap. Finally, at Bedlam Brawl, Joe made an attempt to gain victory over Tuff Tina, stating that he knew he could win, because she’s a woman. In the end, again, Hobo was unable to pick up the win, and further intensified his lust for a victory at any cost. We have really seen Hobo changing his ways as of late, moving to try to cheat and use under handed tactics to win, as oppossed to his technical skill and intelligence. Regardless, Hobo has promised that he will pick up a victory at One Step Closer II, but nothing has been even hinted to as far as an opponent goes. Will this finally be it for Hobo Joe?

MICHAEL FACADE AND RYAN MITCHELL AIM FOR REVENGE ON PATRICK HAYES AND SCOTTIE GASH!
At “Path of Destruction II” at the beginning of the month, fans witnessed Ryan Mitchell win an 8 man gauntlet in a strong fashion. At the same event, Michael Facade did the unthinkable when he went to a time limit draw with Petey Williams. This has been the story for Facade this year; a constant upswing since winning the 2009 Battle Lines Battle Royal. At the same time, the same thing can be said about Hayes. Ater losing his undefeated streak to Shiima Xion at “Two Years Later”, Hayes went on a tear that eventually saw him defeat Xion and become the CWE Undisputed Champion. Hayes has always been notorious for having someone watch his back. First it was “The Deviant” Michael Hutter. Then it was Ashton Amherst. Now, it seems as if Hayes has against reached out, and this time, he pulled what surprisingly might have been his strongest asset to this date. Gash is a young veteran who has been through it all, and has stepped into the ring with many of the sports greats. Through his wily ways and his cheating abilities, Gash makes the perfect compliment to Hayes. Gash debuted last month, helping Hayes retain his title and taking out his rival Mitchell. Facade made the save for Mitchell, who he has had some problems with in earlier parts of this year. In a match with one another, Amherst helped Mitchell defeat Facade. This didn’t sit well with either one, specifically Facade, who did not believe that Mitchell didn’t know Ashton helped him. Will the at-odds team of Mitchell and Facade be able to stay united against the on-the-same-page duo of Hayes and Gash? We will find out May 29th!
COLIN DELANEY RETURNS TO CWE AGAINST RYAN BURKE!
For those of who remember those early days of the CWE, the name Colin Olsen should ring a bell. At “One Step Closer”, Colin and his brother Jimmy, collectively known as The Olsen Twins, made their presence known in the CWE. Just months later, Olsen had his childhood dream come true in a whirlwind kind of way, and became a WWE superstar! This caused the impressionable youngster who already had the beginning of a ego problem, to develop into a complete and total egotistical, self absorbed professional wrestler. CWE officials saw the opportunity to bring Olsen, who over the course of his tenure in the WWE changed his name to Colin Delaney to shed any possible comparisons to his humble beginnings. After a thorough decision process, officials then decided that someone who achieved a huge and recent accomplishment should deserve the match with Delaney. After May 1st, only one name came to mind : Ryan Burke. At “Path of Destruction II”, Burke defeated Raymond Rowe, albeit with the unwanted help from Kevin Bradway. At any rate, a win over Raymond Rowe was cause for celebration by the young superstar who had been awaiting his first big break in the CWE. In rapid fire motion, Burke was not only victorious over Rowe, but was also immediately notified he would be wrestling Delany on May 29th. Ryan Burke is definitely a superstar on the rise in the CWE, but we have it on good accord that Delaney wants to make an impact and is looking to stop Burkes momentum dead in it’s tracks.
SHIIMA XION AND JOHNNY GARGANO ASK FOR TITLE SHOTS! THE RESPONSE IS NO… AND YES!
Shiima Xion, who lost the CWE Undisputed Title to Patrick Hayes on March 27th, went to Nick from CWE and asked for his rematch. Shortly there after, Johnny Gargano, who lost the title to Xion last summer, entered into the conversation and asked for the title shot he never received. With all the controversy surrounding Hayes right now, and having more pertinent issues to handle, Nick told them individually that he would not be able to give them a title shot against Hayes. This did not sit well with either man, who have worked long and hard for opportunities. After giving it a second to think in, Nick responded to them that they could have a title shot – but they have to team together. Gargano and Shiima, who have for the time being put their issues with one another aside, looked at each other in confusion. Seeing that clarification needed to be made, Nick informed them that they could indeed have a title shot, but they would have to team together against the brand new CWE Tag Team Champions, The Franchise Players. Bobby Beverly and Jon Kronica, who make up The Franchise Players, have had a long road to those belt. After forming the team only six months ago, the team had to overcome a huge obstacle in the Straight Jacket Mafia and their menacing manager, Bejamin C Steele. After numerous attempts, the Players were finally able to achieve their goal of becoming champions in the CWE. However, I’m sure they would have never dreamed they would have to defend their titles against the last two CWE Undisputed Champions as a team. The Franchise Players are known to overcome obstacles like Steele and the Irish Airborne, but will that be enough to carry them past two of the CWE’s Undisputed Champions in Gargano and Xion?
RAYMOND ROWE IS OUT FOR REVENGE AGAINST KEVIN BRADWAY!
If Kevin Bradways plan for 2009 was to anger a sleeping giant, I think he can consider his resolution completed. Kevin Bradway came onto the scene in 2009 claiming to be the toughest man in CWE, and further more, Youngstown. This did not sit well with Raymond Rowe, who has had a long history as being the litmus test for toughness. So, at “Battle Lines”, Rowe made a challenge to Bradway to back up his claim as being “the toughest man in Youngstown.” Unfortunately for Bradway, he was destroyed, and thus the story was over and Rowe was still the resident tough guy. Not in Bradways mind. During the Battle Royal at that show, Bradway took advantage of Rowe who had his back turned, and threw him over the top rope, costing him a future title shot. As Bradway celebrated, he was grabbed and tossed out, and immediately ran away from Rowe. Again, in Bradways mind, he was victorious over Rowe! The following month at “March Madness”, Bradway came out before his match and let everyone in the arena know that he ran Raymond Rowe out of the CWE. Then again, at “Path of Destruction II”, he got on the microphone and told the crowd that Rowe is still running from him, and he has truly proven he is the toughest guy in the CWE. He was warned before; don’t tug on Superman’s cape. As Bradway made it to be the final participant in the gauntlet match, the lights went out. When they returned, Raymond Rowe was standing in the ring behind Bradway, and scared him into Ryan Mitchell, who took advantage of the situation to win the match. Rowe had strong words for Bradway, and assured him that though he may not always win the match, he always wins the fight. Bradway again claimed a measure of revenge by inserting himself into Rowes match later in the night with Ryan Burke. As the referee had his back turned, and Ray grabbed him, Bradway went into his tights and pulled out powder that he then threw in Rowe’s face. This took Rowe out of his momentum enough to cost him the match with Burke. But more importantly, this made Rowe angry. You don’t want to see what happens when he’s angry. Kevin Bradway will find out on May 29th exactly what happens when Raymond Rowe is angry.
NICKIE VALENTINO, SHAWN BLAZE AND MARION FONTAINE EXPLAIN THEIR ALLEGIANCE!
At “Path of Destruction II”, Nickie Valentino and Shawn Blaze proclaimed that they were coming together to do something truly special with long time CWE superstar Marion Fontaine. This announcement was made to a loud chorus of boos, but Valentino continued through to announce his allegiance to his mentor, “Megastar” Marion Fontaine. This situation is one of the weirdest yet in the CWE, but the talent involved has promised to make a splash on May 29th. Their first challenge has gone out to none other than the LA Gunz, who were victorious over Blaze and his then partner, Marcus Knight, on the previously mentioned show. The Gunz have been one of the top teams in the CWE for well over a year now, and are finally getting in their groove. Once they have gotten into their groove, it will be difficult to find anyone who can best them. Will the newly formed tandem make it a successful debut against the Gunz, or will the Gunz continue on with their momentum, and move one step closer to establishing themselves as the top title contenders?
HOBO JOE TRIES HIS HAND AT MARION FONTAINE!
Hobo Joe has managed to become one of the most beloved characters in CWE history. As of late though, Hobo has grown increasingly frustrated due to his inability to win matches. There has been a shift in attitude with Hobo. His focus is there like never before. After losing his match to Moondog Scrap on May 1st, Hobo immediately found CWE officials and asked them to give him a shot at any other CWE superstar. Officials decided that they would give Hobo a shot, but let Hobo know that he will need to post a victory to remain on the active roster. Hobo has made a boisterous cl.. he will defeat Marion Fontaine on May 29th! The entire situation is just humorous to Fontaine, who just claims he has bigger fish to fry. Will this finally be Hobo’s time, or will Fontaine continue on his strong momentum into the summer? We will find out May 29th!
ALSO FEATURING THE BOUNCER, TUFF TINA, LOGAN SHULO, GREGORY IRON AND MORE TO BE ANNOUNCED SOON!

Now onto the card for the show:
FORMER TNA SUPERSTAR PETEY WILLIAMS MAKES HIS CWE DEBUT!
Petey Williams brings a long list of accomplishments with him in his debut with the CWE. Petey is one of the best wrestlers around today. He has held numerous TNA X-Division Titles, as well as having one of the most devastating finishing maneuvers in the history of professional wrestling in the Canadian Destroyer. Williams has made his mark in every company he has ever been a part of, and plans to do the same when he comes to Championship Wrestling Experience. Who will Petey be facing in his debut match in the CWE? Officials have been putting their heads together since they got word of the contract being signed, thinking about who would be the most deserving roster member to get in the ring with the world traveled superstar. After a lengthy decision process, CWE officials are proud to announce that when Petey Williams makes his CWE debut, it will be against none other than The Suburban Terrorist Michael Façade! Façade has been a dedicated member of the company since March of 2007, and has as of late been compiling a list of great performances and victories, including his Battle Lines 2009 Battle Royal win, that have earned him the right to be the first opponent for Petey in CWE.
NEWLY CROWNED UNDISPUTED CHAMPION PATRICK HAYES MAKES HIS FIRST DEFENSE AGAINST THE BOUNCER!
Patrick Hayes achieved his ultimate realization on March 27th when he defeated Shiima Xion for the CWE Undisputed Title at March Madness. Hayes had assumed since it was such a hard fought match, CWE match makers would give him the month off to allow him to recover. This is not the case. With all of the crunching of numbers and attention put on the Petey Williams match, CWE officials stumbled upon a fact that had been overlooked: The Bouncer has never lost a singles match in the CWE! When officials came to this realization, coupled with his decisive victory over Nickie Valentino in March, they had no choice but to sign the match. The Bouncer will have the biggest chance of his CWE career when he steps into the ring with Patrick Hayes on May 1st at Path of Destruction II!
FRANCHISE PLAYERS GET THEIR LAST SHOT AT THE GOLD!
Benjamin C Steele has worked hard at making sure his charge, the Straight Jacket Mafia, maintained their position as CWE Tag Team Champions. He has gone to whatever depths he has needed to go through to ensure that they would keep the gold. Whether it was his training with the Mafia that allowed them to cheat to defeat the LA Gunz last month, or the direct interference he has resorted to which allowed them to win the titles in the first place, Steele has done his part to keep the Mafia on top. On the other side of the spectrum, the Franchise Players have been consistently screwed over of title victories. They have emerged as being one of the brightest teams in the state, but have been held back from taking those CWE Tag Team Titles. So the Franchise Players have lobbied to receive another title shot. They received one in January and came up short. They received one in February and came up short. They defeated the Irish Airborne in March, but after losing two consecutive matches, that does anything but warrant a title shot. Yet still, a sympathetic eye was cast on them by management due to the outside activities Steele is known by. They have granted a rematch to the Players, but under one stipulation : If they lose this time, it will be a long road and a long time until they receive another shot. Confident that this will be their time, the Players have accepted. Will it truly be the Players time to shine, or will Ben Steele and the Mafia keep the belts around their waist for at least one more month.
MOONDOG SCRAP ATTEMPTS REVENGE ON HOBO JOE!
At Two Years Later, Moondog Scrap was embarrassed by the dumpster dweller, Hobo Joe, when Hobo pretended to throw Scraps bone into the audience. This caused Scrap to lose by disqualification, and ever since then, things havent been right for Scrap. Through a series of itches and barks, Scrap has asked for Hobo on May 1st. Hobo, who seemed noticeably frustrated after his loss to Gregory Iron at the last show, needs this victory to restore confidence and regain his spirit. Will that happen, or will Scrap get his first taste of victory in the CWE?
