Heavyweight Championship Match
Jason Gory (c) vs. Bulldozer
Since his start in Black Diamond Wrestling, Jason Gory has showed a will to win quite possibly unmatched in BDW. This will to win is what lead him to become the BDW Heavyweight champion, and he has proven unstoppable during his reign. Another star that has been proven unstoppably recently in BDW is the “One Man Wrecking Crew” Bulldozer. The 6’3″ 350+ pound monster has been a force in BDW since his debut, and recently turned his back on Chris Maverick to go solo once again. Now Bulldozer is stepping up to the plate to try and prove himself, as he challenged Jason Gory for the BDW Heavyweight title at BDW’s biggest event of the year! Can Gory prepare for an opponent with the size and power of Bulldozer? And can Bulldozer take that giant step up in competition, and stay toe to toe with the more experienced and seasoned Jason Gory? It’s a strong contest between speed and agility against strength and power, and it collides June 5th at the BDW 6th Anniversary event!!!
Buff Bagwell vs. Nikita Allanov
Black Diamond Wrestling has announced that former WCW and WWE superstar and member of the nWo, Buff Bagwell will be appearing at the 6th Anniversary event! BDW has now confirmed that Buff Bagwell will be competing against former BDW Heavyweight champion, Nikita Allanov. Allanov has been gone from BDW action since December, and will return to take on Bagwell on June 5th. Both competitors have signed to the match, and the question now is who will come out this match victorious? Could Bagwell win his first match in BDW, or could Allanov come out victorious and be put right back at the top of the rankings of BDW?
Tag Team Championship Match
Straight Jacket Mafia (c) vs. Puerto Rican Wrecking Crew
The Straight Jacket Mafia (Apollyon & Sean Dahmer) have been a dominant team in BDW since they have been together, and have proven sucessful so far as champions. They issued an open challenge to any tag team of BDW’s past for the 6th Anniversary event, and the call has been answered. Luis Diamonte and Issac Montana, the Puerto Rican Wrecking Crew will return to BDW and challenge the SJM for BDW Tag Team championships. The Puerto Rican Wrecking Crew is arguable one of the top hated teams of BDW’s past, and have held the titles before. Will they be able to hold the belts once again, or with the Straight Jacket Mafia remain champions???
Diamond Division Championship Match
Dan Sandwich(c) vs. Chris LeRusso vs. Justin Idol vs. Michael Facade
Dan Sandwich has sucessfully been able to defend his Diamond Division championship since winning it this past November. However, now the competition will be coming at him from all sides as Chris LeRusso, Justin Idol, and Michael Facade will all be competiting for the title in a fatal four way match! BDW’s Diamond Division always promises great competitive action, and this match will no doubt deliver! Will Sandwich be able to remain the champ, or will the odds be too strong?
Dash Bennett vs. DJ Tom Sharp
For many years, Dash Bennett was perhaps the most loved local hero of Black Diamond Wrestling. However in February, Bennett turned his back to the fans claiming the support they gave him wasn’t enough and that he needed to focus on himself and less on pleasing them. One competitor who did not appreciate this action from Bennett was fan favorite DJ Tom Sharp. Sharp issued a challenge to Bennett for the 6th Anniversary event, and Bennett has now accepted. The two will compete, as Sharp will attempt to gain revenge for the fans who supported Bennett for so long.
Jake Garrett, Vinnie Stone & Bobby Digital vs. Blue Dragon, Zero & Anthony Saint
The new mysterious alliance of Jake Garrett, Vinnie Stone, and Bobby Digital have been causing much havoc in BDW recently, and a team has finally been assembled to challenge them. In the past we have seen heated rivalries between Jake Garrett and Blue Dragon, while the fans have been seeing tensions rise with Vinnie Stone and Bobby Digital against Zero and Anthony Saint. Now the competitors align at the battle lines, and this match will certainly be a war!
Ric Rumskey vs. Chest Flexor
Two newer faces of the Black Diamond Wrestling roster will compete against each other, to attempt to rise up in the rankings of BDW! Ric Rumskey has been impressive since his start with BDW, and although not much has been seen of Chest Flexor, in his debut match against the much larger and experience Mad Mike, he was able to impress. Who will walk out victorious, and one step ahead in this one???
BDW AFTER PARTY W/THE BDW STARS
Black Diamond Wrestling is allowing a rare opportunity for our loyal fans to meet and associate with the stars of BDW following the 6th Anniversary Event! The after party will be taking place at The Nugget, across the street from the Bridgeport Police Station. The Nugget is located at 228 Main St Bridgeport, OH 43912.

“TOWER OF TERROR”
Heavyweight Championship Match
Jason Gory (c) vs. Justin Idol
Arguably one of the most brutal innovations of Black Diamond Wrestling returns on May 1st, as arguably one of the most brutal rivalry unfolds as BDW Heavyweight champion, Jason Gory defends against Justin Idol in a Tower Of Terror Match. This match features a 20 foot high tower, which the winning competitor must sucessfully climb to the top and detatch the title in order to become victorious. This match has even more at stake, as the question is raised just who will walk out BDW Heavyweight Champion going into the 6th Anniversary event?
Chris Maverick vs. Bulldozer
At the previous Black Diamond Wrestling event on April 17th, Bulldozer turned on his former tag team partner Chris Maverick. After the team had been unable to coexist well together since losing the BDW Tag Team championships, Bulldozer snapped and left Maverick in the ring alone in their match against Mad Mike and Lew Lindstrom. Following the match, Bulldozer entered the ring and delivered a vicious power bomb to the already downed Chris Maverick. However, Officer Sean C Norman of the Wells Township Police Dept. and Buckeye North Middle School’s D.A.R.E. officer entered the ring to make the save, leading to Maverick and himself delivering a conchairto to Dozer. Now the match has been made for Chris Maverick to take on Bulldozer one on one, and if Maverick wins, Officer Norman will recieve 5 minutes in the ring with Bulldozer. Officer’s Norman despise for Dozer began back in December, as he was being introduced as a guest at the BDW event and Bulldozer came out delivering a street sign to the back of Officer Norman. Will Officer Sean Norman get his revenge, or will Bulldozer prove his dominance over Chris Maverick?

Black Diamond Wrestling returned to The Buckeye North Middle School in Brilliant, OH on Friday April 17, 2009. If you weren’t there, here is what you missed…
Bobby Digital & Vinnie Stone vs. Anthony Saint & Zero
The night started off with these two teams in a action attempting to rise up in the rankings, as the newly formed team of Vinnie Stone and Bobby Digital took on another new team of Anthony Saint and Zero. The match went back and forth, with Digital and Stone doing what they felt necessary to gain the advantage. Eventually Saint and Zero were able to gain control, but as they had Digital and Stone in opposite corners from one another delivering the ten punches, Digital tossed Zero over the ropes and out of the ring as Stone delivered a low blow to Saint. Stone then used the ropes for advantage, and got the pin fall victory.
Chris LeRusso vs. Michael Facade
The fans seen a new side of Michael Facade in this match as he was doing whatever he could to maintain control over Chris LeRusso. Once LeRusso began battling back however, Facade became frustrated. This lead to Facade grabbing his spray paint can and attempting to nail LeRusso in the head with it. However, LeRusso ducked the strike and the can bounced off of the ropes striking Facade in the head. LeRusso then hit his finishing move on Facade to pick up the pin fall victory.
Mad Mike & Lew Lindstrom vs. Chris Maverick & Bulldozer
Veteran Mad Mike teamed up with a rookie of BDW, Lew Lindstrom as they challenged the former Tag Team champions, Chris Maverick and Bulldozer. As the match progressed, the team of Maverick and Dozer began to crumble. Towards the end of the match, Maverick unintentionally hit Bulldozer on two seperate occasions. This lead to Dozer leaving the ring, and Maverick all alone. Mad Mike and Lindstrom quickly took advantage of this, and Mad Mike pinned Maverick for the victory. After the match, Dozer got back in the ring and delivered a power bomb to Maverick. Officer Sean C. Norman of the Wells Township Police Dept./Buckeye North Middle School’s D.A.R.E. Officer came in and helped Maverick as they delivered a conchairto to Bulldozer. Officer Norman was involved in an altercation in December, when Bulldozer nailed him with a street sign. Now on May 1st, Chris Maverick will seek revenge against Bulldozer, and if Maverick wins, Officer Norman will get 5 minutes in the ring with Bulldozer!
Jason Cage vs. Devin Devine
Devin Devine has been gone from BDW for a short time, and made his return against another competitor who had just made their return at the March 20th event, Jason Cage. The two comptetitors were going back and forth in the ring, with Devine countering a lot of Cage’s high-impact style attacks. The fans thought they were going to see Devine pick up a win, as he had Cage up on his shoulder about to deliver the Aborted Fetus move, but Cage was able to counter this into his Murder Ride and picked up the pin fall victory.
Cupac’s Hizzy
Cupac came out traditionally passing out candy to all of his fans, and then he grabbed the microphone and announced there is a question that him and the fans have been waiting to get an answer for. He then brought out Dash Bennett, and asked him why he turned his back on the fans who have been loyal to him for so long. Bennett then went on a rant how the fans never meant any thing to him, and that he did what he needed to do to get closer to becoming the BDW Heavyweight champion sending a warning out to his opponent later in the night, Jason Gory.
Diamond Division Championship Match: Dan Sandwich (c) vs. Bobby Beverly
At the previous BDW event, 1/2 of the Franchise Players, Jon Kronica challenged Dan Sandwich for the Diamond Division title. Only coming up a hair short of a win, his partner Bobby Beverly chose to make a challenge for the title. The match went back and forth, similiar to Kronica’s challenge. Just as Kronica came up a hair short, so did Beverly. A war of countering offense went on between Beverly and Sandwich, which eventually lead to Beverly being rolled up, and Dan Sandwich retaining the Diamond Division championship.
Justin Idol vs. Jon Kronica vs. Ric Rumskey
Justin Idol came out with his new valet, Morgan Rockafella and to much of the fans disapproval. Jon Kronica and Ric Rumskey were going back and forth as Idol stategized his offense through out the match. Eventually Justin Idol got the pin fall victory on Rumskey.
Tag Team Championship Match: Straight Jacket Mafia (c) vs. The Xtreme Gunz
BDW Tag Team champions Straight Jacket Mafia defeated Xtreme Gunz After their victory on March 20th, the Xtreme Gunz (Bouncer & Flea) earned a shot at the Tag Team championships against the Straight Jacket Mafia (Apollyon & Sean Dahmer). The match started out back and forth, but eventually the Gunz began using dirty tactics over Apollyon and kept him far from Dahmer. The Xtreme Gunz continued to use these tactics through out the match until Apollyon countered Flea, delivering a running knee strike. This allowed Apollyon to tag in Dahmer who cleaned the ring. After a series of counters Apollyon was able to duck an attempted clothesline from Flea, resulting in Flea running into a Black Hole Slam from Dahmer allowing the pin fall victory for the SJM.
Heavyweight Championship Match: Jason Gory (c) vs. Dash Bennett
The match started out with Dash Bennett countering all of Jason Gory using his power advantage. Gory had a hard time escaping the power offense of Bennett, and had a number of failed attempts to use his speed over Bennett’s power. However, Gory was able to take the beatings and come back. While Bennett was down, Gory went to the top rope for a senton splash, but Justin Idol came out and distracted the referee. While the referee was distracted, Bennett slipped on a pair of brass knuckles. Gory was able to duck out of the way though when Bennett went for the strike, and evntually hit the swanton bomb and retained his Heavyweight Title. Right after Gory had made the pin fall, Justin Idol came into the ring delivering a knee strike and following it up with a Spirit Crusher onto Gory and then walked out with the Heavyweight championship in his possession. The two will finally meet again on May 1st in the BDW original “Tower Of Terror” match.

Diamond Dawg Promotions, the parent company of Black Diamond Wrestling, announces the construction of a permanent facility for Black Diamond Wrestling shows beginning on June 5th 2009. The facility, located on US Rt. 40 just west of Bridgeport Ohio, continues to be constructed with a completion date of early May. Currently the walls have been raised, and electrical work is being done.
The arena, which will be known as the BDW “Dawg House” is nearly 4,000 sq. ft. Not included in that size is a locker room area with both male and female areas that adds nearly another 1,000 sq.ft. Appearing talent will have a separate entrance as well as indoor parking for security and safety for them. A 48 sq. ft. interview stage has just been completed too. Over head lighting, of not only bright match lighting, but will also feature over head colored lighting during entrances. Additionally the sound system components will be over head to add to the arena feel.
This is a big undertaking for the owners of Diamond Dawg Promotions, and they are confident the work is well worth the reward. Black Diamond Wrestling CEO Rikk Diamond had this to say. “Black Diamond Wrestling has surpassed everyone’s expectations with our history as the longest continuous running independent wrestling promotion in the Ohio Valley. We built our fan base in a large area holding events in every possible community for the past 5 years.” When asked why now was the time to get a permanent home Diamond added, “I feel we took ample time to create a fan base. Any community with suitable facilities to accommodate a BDW event we have held an event in. Our fans have been asking recently when we would have a permanent home. Even going as far as to approach some facilities for that. The fans want it, the stars of BDW want it, and now myself and Big Dawg want to make it happen.”
Pressed for information regarding some of the things fans can expect to see from BDW at the new “Dawg House” Diamond wouldn’t elaborate in detail. “We have some surprises. Big things to set BDW apart. Plans to really give our fans the best shows possible. Secrets if you will, that will make us stronger, better, and more talked about with our future events.” Asked for the slightest of detail regarding the first event on June 5th Diamond would only say this, “Its coming. The way the NWO revolutionized WCW, the Attitude Era revolutionized WWE, the “Dawg House” will do that for BDW. I have just placed a small hint into the first event on June 5th. That being NWO, WCW, and WWE. That’s all I will say at this time.”
Big Dawg, co owner of Black Diamond Wrestling and CEO of Diamond Dawg Promotions, could not be reached for comment.
