Grea Cingsley lost to Blue Dragon.
Justin Idol w/ Idol Classic over Piston Wiley. Piston has got to be one of the most over there.
Straight Jacket Mafia over Violence Inc. Good back and forth match.
Terrance Ring with Robert Parker Williams and BC Steele lost to Jake Garrett by DQ. (Ring took the place of an injured Robert Parker Williams who arrived on crutches).
Jason Cage over Chest Flexor Good match and Flexor replaced Facade, who was in attendance, as Facade still is on the shelf with an injury.
Dan Sandwich became the 2010 Buckeye North Middle School Spelling Bee Champion after misspelling bologna but attacking the guy and getting a 3 count on him. He took a gold medal from around the guys neck. Amazing the response to a damn spelling bee segment.
Dash Bennett over Jock Sampson Another good match with two bigger guys.
Bulldozer & Steamroller vs. Officer Sean C. Norman & Amazing Chase Russell. Bulldozer announced the fine print allowed him to pick Officer Normans partner. Russell was replaced with Dosi-Dozer who after getting in the ring removed his mask and revealed Rikk Diamond. The cop got the pin when Rikk tripped Dozer and had several middle school students hold his ankles to negate a kick out. The crowd loved the surprise of it being Rikk.
Daron Smythe lost to Jason Gory. Awesome! Match of the night easily! After the match the Premiere Players reunited and defeated Terrance Ring and Robert Parker Williams.
BDW announced that on March 14th TNA Wrestling will be at the John Marshall Field House in Moundsville, WV.
BDW returns Feb 19th to Brilliant and anyone who donates $1 has the opportunity to hit Bulldozer with a cream pie.
BDW Returns to Brilliant, OH on 1/15/10
Posted: January 8, 2010
Black Diamond Wrestling returns January 15, 2010 to Brilliant, Ohio as the Wells Twp. DARE program holds the 3rd of 5 scheduled events. This event is held at the Buckeye North Middle School and if school is canceled on January 15 the event will be rescheduled for April 2010. I have spoken with WKKX AM 1600 our sponsor and will know more info Monday if the schedule is cleared and who may be in studio.
Heavyweight Title Match
Jason Gory (c) vs. Daron Smythe
On January 15th, one of Black Diamond Wrestling’s pioneers will be returning to BDW after over 3 years of being gone. Smythe will be challenging the very person he last was in a BDW ring with, Jason Gory. However at the time Smythe was in the ring with a much younger Jason Gory, and now Smythe is facing not only a more experienced competitor in Gory, but also the BDW Heavyweight champion. For the new fans of BDW unfamiliar with his work, Daron Smythe started out in BDW as 1/2 of the Premiere Players, teaming with Dash Bennett. When the team split, Smythe went onto singles competition and became the 2nd ever BDW Heavyweight champion (defeating Nikita Allanov). After a long reign which lasted over a year as champion, Smythe lost the title to Devin Devine. Smythe would continue to compete as a singles competitor trying to regain contender-ship for the title until his leave. Now on January 15th, Smythe steps back into the BDW ring for a Homecoming for a shot at the BDW Heavyweight Title against Jason Gory.
Officer Sean Norman & ??? vs. The Devastators
Officer Sean Norman finally seeks revenge against Bulldozer, this time bringing in a surprise partner. However, by taking on the team of the Devastators (Bulldozer and Steamroller), does Officer Sean Norman even have a chance no matter who he brings in? Bulldozer has shown little to no fear of Officer Sean Norman this far, and now with Steamroller with him as well, it is easy to say the concern on the part of Dozer is nonexistent! Does Officer Norman have the right person to be in his corner, or will the Devastators run through them both?
Diamond Division Title Match
Michael Facade (c) vs. Jason Cage
BDW Diamond Division champion, Michael Facade has been on a winning streak ever since winning the title. However, will the streak come to an end as Jason Cage has stepped up to plate? Cage was the first title holder of the Diamond Division championship, and only lost the belt by forfeit due to injury. Could Cage gain the title back, or will Facade continue his reign?
Robert Parker Williams w/Terrence Ring & BC Steele vs. Jake Garrett
A feud building up for months boils over on January 15th, as Jake Garrett will finally get a shot at Robert Parker Williams. Ever since Williams turned his back on Garrett, and dawning his new persona, Garrett has tried many times to seek revenge. Now BDW has made the match official, and Jake Garrett and Robert Parker Williams will finally collide one on one!
Dan Sandwich vs. ???
Dan Sandwich has announced to the BDW officials that he has a hand picked opponent who currently holds a title. He would not elaborate on his opponent, but does this leave Jason Cage or Daron Smythe with out an opponent now? As they are the only competitors who currently hold a title in BDW. Or does Sandwich have a swerve he will hit the BDW fans with once again?
Cupac’s Hizzy
Cupac will be in “da Hizzy” with Cupac’s Hizzy! This always unpredictable show is definitely a fan favorite segment of BDW, and there is no telling what will be discussed. Cupac has yet to reveal who his guest will be.
Straight Jacket Mafia vs. Violence Inc.
Arguably two of the most violent teams of BDW will collide in tag team action, as Violence Inc (Vinnie Stone & Ric Rumskey) challenge the Straight Jacket Mafia (Apollyon & Sean Dahmer). What team will come out on top, in this unpredictable battle?
Justin Idol w/Idol Classic & BC Steele vs. Piston Wiley
A wild card match of sorts has been signed for January 18th, as Justin Idol will take on the wirey new BDW competitor, Piston Wiley. Idol does not seem to be taking this challenge seriously, but is this a dangerous move on Idol as not much is known at all about Wiley? Idol claims that he will give Wiley his chance for his 15 minutes of fame, and he won’t have to break a sweat.
Dash Bennett vs. Jock Samson
BDW has signed a match with a debuting competitor, Jock Samson to take on Dash Bennett. Even with nothing known about Samson, Bennett does not seem to be worried at all. Bennett claimed that he is one of the top competitors in BDW, and that he didn’t have time to worry about new guys looking to use him as a doorway into BDW.
Payton Graham w/Greg Cherry vs. Blue Dragon
Blue Dragon has been accepting challenges from younger competitors of BDW lately, and the trend continues as Greg Cherry has contacted the BDW officials demanding a match for Payton Graham to take on Blue Dragon. Dragon has been a long time competitor in BDW, and if Graham can pick up a win against him, it would certainly solidify him as a true competitor of BDW!

Due to recent changes in the regulatory commission Black Diamond Wrestling is now officially licensed by the Ohio Athletic Commission. Owner Rikk Diamond is proud to make this announcement and is exploring options for increased growth with BDW. In a small market area such as the Ohio Valley BDW has remained the leader of independent wrestling events. Now under the regulation of the Ohio Athletic Commission BDW is poised to extend to untapped areas and prove why they have been so successful for over 6 years.
While others have come and gone, and come and gone, and come again its no wonder why BDW has remained the pinnacle of success. With the philosophy that BDW was built on its no wonder why. Respect the fans first and foremost, respect the talent, and never ever make a promotion all about one or two people. Earn a top spot, sell the company before yourself, and remember one thing. Fans don’t need your promotion. Your promotion needs the fans. Promote what people will enjoy not what you personally want to see. Promote wrestling and not 1/2 hour interviews outdated skits, or legends you want to meet.

Heavyweight Title Match: Jason Gory (c) vs. Jason Cage
BDW Heavyweight champion Jason Gory and the challenger Jason Cage are certainly no strangers in the ring together. The two have had countless battles in and out of Black Diamond Wrestling, and have even teamed together on several occasions. Now the two will collide in the ring once again, in what promises to be a great contest. Jason Cage picked up a big win at the past BDW event with Ryan Mitchell to become the new Tag Team champions, will Cage add another title to his current BDW resume, or will Gory continue to reign supreme???
10,000 Thumbtack Match: Bulldozer vs. Ric Rumskey
Bulldozer has been on a rampage as of late in BDW, from attack police officers to attacking WWE’s own former Diva Search contestant Sara Brooks. One guy who seems to have had enough of seeing this is “Ruthless” Ric Rumskey. At the past show Rumskey built up the courage to confront Dozer, and even go as far as to challenging him to a 10,000 Thumbtacks match. Bulldozer accepted and now for the first time in Black Diamond Wrestling history, a “10,000 Thumbtacks” match will take place. The rules to the match are like any other match, but the ring will be covered in 10,000 flesh piercing thumbtacks! This will be a tough challenge for Rumskey, and the fans are questioning whether or not Rumskey can put the big man Bulldozer down and into the tacks?
2nd Series “Diamond In The Rough” Battle Royal
The “Diamond In The Rough” Battle Royal series continues on, as 10 more BDW stars will compete in the 2nd Round Battle Royal. The first “Diamond In The Rough” Battle Royal that took place last month was won by Bulldozer, as he qualified into the final Battle Royal where there will be $5,000 on the line! Who will go on as the 2nd participant in the final Battle Royal?
Straight Jacket Mafia vs. Puerto Rican Wrecking Crew
At BDW’s 6th Anniversary event, the Straight Jacket Mafia (Apollyon & Sean Dahmer) squared off in the ring to defend their titles against the returning team of the Puerto Rican Wrecking Crew (Isaac Montana & Luis Diamonte). The Wrecking Crew made a strong return by dominating the SJM unlike any team in BDW before them, and going on to winning the BDW Tag Team titles from the Mafia. However, there were cheap tactics used by the Wrecking Crew in winning that match, and the SJM still hold a grudge about that loss. Now they seak revenge for the loss, and the rematch will take place August 8th!
Blue Dragon vs. Vinnie Stone
A grudge that has been going on for months now in BDW continues, as Blue Dragon takes on Vinnie Stone. Each time the two have been in the ring, the match turns into a war. At the 6th Anniversary event, Blue Dragon bloodied up Stone and the aggression has risen since. Now the challenge has been made and accepted, and the two will collide on August 8th!

Heavyweight Championship Match
Jason Gory (c) vs. Bulldozer
Since his start in Black Diamond Wrestling, Jason Gory has showed a will to win quite possibly unmatched in BDW. This will to win is what lead him to become the BDW Heavyweight champion, and he has proven unstoppable during his reign. Another star that has been proven unstoppably recently in BDW is the “One Man Wrecking Crew” Bulldozer. The 6′3″ 350+ pound monster has been a force in BDW since his debut, and recently turned his back on Chris Maverick to go solo once again. Now Bulldozer is stepping up to the plate to try and prove himself, as he challenged Jason Gory for the BDW Heavyweight title at BDW’s biggest event of the year! Can Gory prepare for an opponent with the size and power of Bulldozer? And can Bulldozer take that giant step up in competition, and stay toe to toe with the more experienced and seasoned Jason Gory? It’s a strong contest between speed and agility against strength and power, and it collides June 5th at the BDW 6th Anniversary event!!!
Buff Bagwell vs. Nikita Allanov
Black Diamond Wrestling has announced that former WCW and WWE superstar and member of the nWo, Buff Bagwell will be appearing at the 6th Anniversary event! BDW has now confirmed that Buff Bagwell will be competing against former BDW Heavyweight champion, Nikita Allanov. Allanov has been gone from BDW action since December, and will return to take on Bagwell on June 5th. Both competitors have signed to the match, and the question now is who will come out this match victorious? Could Bagwell win his first match in BDW, or could Allanov come out victorious and be put right back at the top of the rankings of BDW?
Tag Team Championship Match
Straight Jacket Mafia (c) vs. Puerto Rican Wrecking Crew
The Straight Jacket Mafia (Apollyon & Sean Dahmer) have been a dominant team in BDW since they have been together, and have proven sucessful so far as champions. They issued an open challenge to any tag team of BDW’s past for the 6th Anniversary event, and the call has been answered. Luis Diamonte and Issac Montana, the Puerto Rican Wrecking Crew will return to BDW and challenge the SJM for BDW Tag Team championships. The Puerto Rican Wrecking Crew is arguable one of the top hated teams of BDW’s past, and have held the titles before. Will they be able to hold the belts once again, or with the Straight Jacket Mafia remain champions???
Diamond Division Championship Match
Dan Sandwich(c) vs. Chris LeRusso vs. Justin Idol vs. Michael Facade
Dan Sandwich has sucessfully been able to defend his Diamond Division championship since winning it this past November. However, now the competition will be coming at him from all sides as Chris LeRusso, Justin Idol, and Michael Facade will all be competiting for the title in a fatal four way match! BDW’s Diamond Division always promises great competitive action, and this match will no doubt deliver! Will Sandwich be able to remain the champ, or will the odds be too strong?
Dash Bennett vs. DJ Tom Sharp
For many years, Dash Bennett was perhaps the most loved local hero of Black Diamond Wrestling. However in February, Bennett turned his back to the fans claiming the support they gave him wasn’t enough and that he needed to focus on himself and less on pleasing them. One competitor who did not appreciate this action from Bennett was fan favorite DJ Tom Sharp. Sharp issued a challenge to Bennett for the 6th Anniversary event, and Bennett has now accepted. The two will compete, as Sharp will attempt to gain revenge for the fans who supported Bennett for so long.
Jake Garrett, Vinnie Stone & Bobby Digital vs. Blue Dragon, Zero & Anthony Saint
The new mysterious alliance of Jake Garrett, Vinnie Stone, and Bobby Digital have been causing much havoc in BDW recently, and a team has finally been assembled to challenge them. In the past we have seen heated rivalries between Jake Garrett and Blue Dragon, while the fans have been seeing tensions rise with Vinnie Stone and Bobby Digital against Zero and Anthony Saint. Now the competitors align at the battle lines, and this match will certainly be a war!
Ric Rumskey vs. Chest Flexor
Two newer faces of the Black Diamond Wrestling roster will compete against each other, to attempt to rise up in the rankings of BDW! Ric Rumskey has been impressive since his start with BDW, and although not much has been seen of Chest Flexor, in his debut match against the much larger and experience Mad Mike, he was able to impress. Who will walk out victorious, and one step ahead in this one???
BDW AFTER PARTY W/THE BDW STARS
Black Diamond Wrestling is allowing a rare opportunity for our loyal fans to meet and associate with the stars of BDW following the 6th Anniversary Event! The after party will be taking place at The Nugget, across the street from the Bridgeport Police Station. The Nugget is located at 228 Main St Bridgeport, OH 43912.

“TOWER OF TERROR”
Heavyweight Championship Match
Jason Gory (c) vs. Justin Idol
Arguably one of the most brutal innovations of Black Diamond Wrestling returns on May 1st, as arguably one of the most brutal rivalry unfolds as BDW Heavyweight champion, Jason Gory defends against Justin Idol in a Tower Of Terror Match. This match features a 20 foot high tower, which the winning competitor must sucessfully climb to the top and detatch the title in order to become victorious. This match has even more at stake, as the question is raised just who will walk out BDW Heavyweight Champion going into the 6th Anniversary event?
Chris Maverick vs. Bulldozer
At the previous Black Diamond Wrestling event on April 17th, Bulldozer turned on his former tag team partner Chris Maverick. After the team had been unable to coexist well together since losing the BDW Tag Team championships, Bulldozer snapped and left Maverick in the ring alone in their match against Mad Mike and Lew Lindstrom. Following the match, Bulldozer entered the ring and delivered a vicious power bomb to the already downed Chris Maverick. However, Officer Sean C Norman of the Wells Township Police Dept. and Buckeye North Middle School’s D.A.R.E. officer entered the ring to make the save, leading to Maverick and himself delivering a conchairto to Dozer. Now the match has been made for Chris Maverick to take on Bulldozer one on one, and if Maverick wins, Officer Norman will recieve 5 minutes in the ring with Bulldozer. Officer’s Norman despise for Dozer began back in December, as he was being introduced as a guest at the BDW event and Bulldozer came out delivering a street sign to the back of Officer Norman. Will Officer Sean Norman get his revenge, or will Bulldozer prove his dominance over Chris Maverick?
