Results – AIW: Gauntlet For The Gold – 2/19/10

Absolute Owner Chandler Biggins came to the ring and announced that for the second consecutive West Park Party Center event, there was bad news about an AIW Title. Biggins called AIW Tag Team Champion, Christian Faith, and Agent Aaron Bauer to ringside. Bauer announced that Faith had suffered a possible career-ending neck injury and Vincent Nothing was seemingly nowhere to be found. Agent Aaron Bauer revealed that the Tag Team Gauntlet would be for the vacant tag titles.

Da Latin Crime Syndicate beat Alpha Beta Duke

During the start of the ABD/DLCS confrontation the lights went out. When the technical issue was resolved, a pair some local wrestlers who were not scheduled to appear on the show snuck in and attacked Nick Belushi. Concerned about his partner, The Duke had turned his attention to the melee, leaving him vulnerable to Da Latin Crime Syndicate.

Aeroform beat Pink Mustaches

Aeroform was declared the new AIW Tag Team Champions. However, Agent Aaron Bauer announced that he had booked one more tag team – The Young Studs.

The Young Studs defeated Aeroform after Agent Aaron Bauer forced Flip Kendrick off of the top rope. When Faith confronted the turncoat, Bauer, The Young Studs attacked Faith and further injured his neck.

Absolute Opportunity: Johnny Cockstrong beat “The Smooth Savage” Jonny Mangue

Jack Verville came out and complained about how Flexor/Saint failed to win the tag titles and how he was going to win the Absolute Title later. He asked for a warm up match. Tommy Mercer answered the challenge.

For #30 Spot in The Gauntlet For The Gold: Sterling James Keenan beat Johnny Gargano with a cross arm breaker.

Chris Dickinson entered to defend the Intense Division Championship. Chandler Biggins returned and announced that Eric Alverado was scared to face Dickinson and had quit Absolute Intense Wrestling. After a few choice words about Mr. Alverado, Facade interrupted and was awarded the title shot.

No Disqualification for The INTENSE TITLE: Chris Dickinson beat Façade with an ace cruser from the top rope to the floor through the announcer table.

The match came down to Tommy Mercer, Johnny Gargano, Façade and SJK. With Gargano and SJK on the apron, Mercer slammed Facade over and all four competitors spilled out at once. Pedro Deluca asked for Absolute Owner Chandler Biggins to determine a winner. Chandler, however, was busy ejecting the out-of-control fans. After consulting the wrestlers, fans and referees, Chandler couldn’t make a decision. It was announced that all four wrestlers will compete at Absolution 5 at West Park Party Center on June 27th with the winner becoming the Absolute Champion.

AIW Presents Jack of All Trios Weekend in April

Absolute Intense Wrestling returns to The West Park Party Center in Cleveland, OH at 7:30 PM on Friday April 9 and Saturday April 10, 2010 when they present Jack of All Trios! WINNER GETS SPOT 30: STERLING JAMES KEENAN VS. JOHNNY GARGANO
After defeating “The Psycho Shooter” Drake Younger for Spot #30 in the Gauntlet, SJK thought it was smooth sailing until he left with the
Absolute Title. However, Absolute Owner Chandler Biggins has set another roadblock for the cocky former Absolute Champ. A FIRST TIME EVER matchup has been signed with SJK taking on Johnny Gargano. The stakes are higher than a normal match, with the winner becoming #30 in the Gauntlet. SJK is hoping to keep the shot as in 2008, at #30, he won the Absolute Title. Could history repeat it’s self again? Or will Johnny Gargano finally come closer to capturing the Absolute Title?

CHRIS DICKINSON DEFENDS THE INTENSE TITLE AGAINST ERIC ALVERADO
With their war at DRAGGED TO HELL, fans have demanded a rematch with these two recent AIW newcomers. Eric Alverado forced the match to happen when at BRING THE RUCKUS he beat Johnny Gargano for an Intense Title shot. Chris Dickinson is not one to back down from a challenge and accepted. After beating Alverado at DRAGGED TO HELL, Dickinson shook hands and hugged his fellow competitor. Dickinson has made it clear that this time, respect it out the window and this is going to be a life and death struggle to keep his Intense Title. After busting each other open, breaking tables and brawling all over the crowd at DRAGGED TO HELL, will The West Park Party Center be able to contain this rematch? Who will leave GFTG5 as Intense Champ? Will they end up winning two matches and unifying The Intense and Absolute Titles?

FAITH IN NOTHING FACE TWO GAUNTLET MATCHES
Besides the regular Gauntlet For The Gold, Agent Aaron Bauer without
Faith In Nothing’s consent has signed them up for the first time ever
“Faith In Nothing Tag Title Gauntlet” with Faith In Nothing in
competition against multiple teams with their tag titles on the line.
When comment was sought from Agent Aaron Bauer, Bauer claimed this was to bring Faith In Nothing’s skill up and to also get the tag team ability back they might have lost during recent troubles. Due to recent dissension, they weren’t communicating to the best of their abilities but after winning the AIW Tag Titles from The Young Studs in December and then a solid victory over Jigsaw & Hallowicked, FIN seems to be back on top in the tag team ranks, both members are looking to walk out of GAUNTLET FOR THE GOLD 5 with not only their tag titles intact, but also one member of the team being Absolute Champ.

ABSOLUTE OPPORTUNITY RETURNS!
With the success of Absolute Opportunity at DRAGGED TO HELL, AIW’s
concept has returned. The stakes are higher in this match, as the winner wins an opportunity in The Gauntlet. Imagine if somebody debuted in AIW and in the same night wins the Absolute Title. Stranger things have happened in professional wrestling and AIW. The competitors in this match are some of the strangest in AIW history. First, is Johnny Cockstrong. Johnny who claims his main attribute is his incredibly strong gentiles, has a incredibly unique offense. His opponent is “The Island King” Jonny Mangue, hailing from Samoa. Both men in the match have an opportunity to start at the bottom of AIW and by the end of night will be on the top of AIW. Who will seize the opportunity?

DA LATIN CRIME SYNDICATE UNHAPPY OVER GAUNTLET FOR THE GOLD
When the Gauntlet listing was sent to the AIW roster, Da Latin Crime
Syndicate were very unhappy to find out that only one member of the
faction has been granted a spot. With three members, Da Latin Crime
Syndicate feel it’s more than a clerical oversight. All three members
will be in the house at GAUNTLET FOR THE GOLD 5 and will have a lot to say about this. But the bigger question is, which member will be in the Gauntlet for The Absolute Title?

Results – AIW: Bring the Ruckus – 1/21/10

Bobby Beverly defeated Hobo Joe by pinfall after a uranage backbreaker.

Da Latin Crime Syndicate (Joey the Snake and K. Fernandez) defeated Lights Out (Ben Fruith and Corey Winters) by pinfall after Luis Diamante distracted the referee, allowing DLCS to illegally use a chain.

Facade came out before his match with Marion Fontaine and told the crowd that Chandler Biggins forced him to defend his Intense Division Title against Chris Dickinson at “Nightmare Before Xmas 3″ under unfair circumstances. Facade insisted that he was injured and refused to work his way up the ranks for a shot at the Intense Division Title.

Marion Fontaine defeated Facade with a jackknife pin after Facade collapsed in the ring. Facade was favoring his allegedly injured foot throughout the majority of the contest.

Alpha Beta Duke (Nick Belushi and The Duke) defeated Simply Dynamite (Shawn Blaze and TJ Dynamite) by pinfall after a Rikishi Driver. Nick Belushi punched Shawn Blaze in the back of the head when Blaze attempted to break up the pinfall. Shawn Blaze needed to be helped to the back and was taken to a local medical facility.

Luis Diamante defeated Lince Dorado by pinfall after a Ki Krusher. Da Latin Crime Syndicate prevented Lince Dorado from scoring the pinfall after hitting a top rope Shooting Star Press by distracting the referee.

Hailey Hatred defeated Jefferson Saint by pinfall after a Fisherman Buster. Jefferson Saint and The Jack Of Love attacked Hailey Hatred after the match until Aeroform ran them off. Hailey Hatred was carried to the locker room. Jefferson Saint stole the AIW Women’s Title.

Aeroform (Flip Kendrick and Louis Lyndon) defeated Jack of Love (Jack Verville and Chest Flexor) by pinfall after a palm strike. Jefferson Saint tried to distract the referee but ended up colliding with his partners, leaving Jack Verville vulnerable. Jefferson Saint is still in possession of the AIW Women’s Title.

Eric Alverado defeated Johnny Gargano with a rollup. After Johnny Gargano hit Uniquely You, Facade rushed the ring, allowing Alverado enough time to steal the victory. Eric Alverado will challenge for the AIW Intense Division Title at Gauntlet For The Gold on February 19th at the West Park Party Center.

Chris Dickinson defeated Gran Akuma by pinfall after countering a la magistral cradle to retain the AIW Intense Division Title.

Faith In Nothing defeated Hallowicked & Jigsaw by pinfall after a double team powerbomb/neckbreaker combination to retain the AIW Tag Team Titles.

INTENSE TITLE: CHRIS DICKINSON VS. GRAN AKUMA

After his fast rise in AIW with beating Eric Alverado, The Necro
Butcher, and Façade, the current Intense Champ, Chris Dickinson has yet to find his match. Gran Akuma comes to AIW with a reputation of being one of the most dangerous and brutal athletes in Chikara and Dragon Gate USA. Akuma has even made people puke in the ring on two occasions due to his punishment. Dickinson and Akuma match up perfectly. Both have styles, size and ability in common. Akuma has the advantage in the fact he’s been in more high profile matches than Dickinson and thus has more experience. Will Akuma leave as AIW Intense Champ? Or will Dickinson “Bring The Ruckus” and add another body in his path?

AIW TAG TITLES: FAITH IN NOTHING VS. JIGSAW/HALLOWICKED

With their second title reign in progress, Faith In Nothing come into BRING THE RUCKUS with the titles and hopefully their problems behind them. Faith In Nothing who have been at odds since they lost the titles in September put their differences aside to defeat The Young Studs for the title at NIGHTMARE BEFORE X-MAS 3 in a Last Man Standing match. Agent Aaron Bauer claims that his team has put the problems in the past and is ready for any challenge. Accepting the challenge is two Chikara veterans in Jigsaw and Hallowicked. While not a regular tag team, both have resumes that speak for themselves. Both have made appearances in AIW before at HELL ON EARTH 3 and both are two of the most requested wrestlers to once again appear in AIW. Their unique styles are something that Faith In Nothing isn’t accustomed to and will they be able to overcome to retain the tag titles? Also will their problems rise again or are they deader than The Young Stud’s latest title reign?

DOUBLE EDGE SWORD REMATCH: AIW WOMENS TITLE: HAILEY HATRED VS. JEFFERSON SAINT

Last time AIW was at Ghostly Manor with DOUBLE EDGE SWORD, Saint had Hatred beat for the AIW Women’s Title. After the ref discovered brass knucks under his arm, the match was restarted and Hailey secured a victory. However, Chest Flexor and Saint attacked Hailey after the match and like multiple times before and since, left her laying. This is the match that proves everything. Saint, wanting to prove a man is better than a woman, wants to gain the AIW Women’s Title and then vacate it once and for all. Hailey meanwhile wants to prove once and for all that her never ending battle to prove her place on the AIW roster is worthwhile. Will Saint be man enough to win the AIW Womens Title? Or will Hailey once again prove her dominance?

SPECIAL ATTRACTION: LUIS DIAMANTE VS. LINCE DORADO

When the Homeless Handicap Connection were feuding with Da Latin Crime Syndicate in early 2009, they needed help. They reached out to a fellow Latino. During ABSOLUTION 4, Lince Dorado joined forces with them to take on Da Latins. While coming up on the short end of the stick that night, Lince had a problem with Luis Diamante. When booked for BRING THE RUCKUS, Lince asked for Luis one on one. The match is set, and while Da Latin Crime Syndicate members K.Fernadez and Joey “The Snake” Diamante are still nursing injuries from their brutal Fans Bring The Weapons match last month, you have to figure they will be factors if allowed to be at ringside. Will Lince’s unique highflying ability be enough to overcome Da Latins? Or will Da Latins once again use numbers to their favor?

HELL ON EARTH 5 RETURN MATCH: AEROFORM VS. LIGHTS OUT VS. TEAM BEYOND

Following their epic battle at HELL ON EARTH 5, fans have demanded a rematch between these teams. While Aeroform (Flip Kendrick/Louis Lyndon) came out on top in the first battle, Team Beyond (Chase Burnett/Zane Silver) and Lights Out (Ben Fruith/Corey Winters) are quickly rising in AIW’s ranks. This match will go a long way in putting the winner in AIW tag title contention. Who will come out on top?

AIW to Present Matt Lowry Benefit on 12/06/09

On Sunday December 6, 2009 stars from Absolute Intense Wrestling, American Luchacore, Combat Zone Wrestling, IWA East Coast, and several other federations will come together to pay tribute to one of their own, Matt “Riot” Lowry, who passed away this past September.

The show will take place at the UAW Hall, located at 1440 Bellefontaine Ave. in Lima, OH. Doors open at 2:30 PM, with a scheduled 3:00 PM belltime. Tickets are $10.00 each or $35.00 for 4 in advance, or $12.00 each at the door. Proceeds from this event will go to Matt’s family to help pay for his funeral expenses.

There will also be a raffle held during the event where one lucky fan will win a 4X4 truck that has been donated by Henderson Auto Sales.

AIW Presents Dragged to Hell on 10/23/09

Absolute Intense Wrestling presents Dragged to Hell on Friday October 23, 2009 at McCarthy’s Ale House in Strongsville, OH. Bell time is 9:00 PM, and you must be 21 to enter.

MAIN EVENT: PSYCHO SEXUAL PANIC VS. FAITH IN NOTHING!
When Drake Younger in his war against PSP (Jimmy Demarco and Shiima Xion) needed backup, he turned to two people he’s not always seen eye to eye with, Faith In Nothing. Faith In Nothing are coming into this match looking for a huge victory to propel them back into AIW Tag Title contention and cure any dissension they have as a team. Meanwhile, well lets be honest, Shiima Xion and Jimmy Demarco are just going to be trying to survive. Both have tried to get hardcore recently to compete with Drake and while both have been successful, you’d have to imagine sometime their number will have run out. Will Faith In Nothing have their number? Or will Faith In Nothing’s recent problems lead to an opening to which the rock solid PSP can capitalize?

ALPHA BETA DUKE VS. LATIN CRIME SYNDICATE!
With a feud that’s been going on for sometime, Da Latins and Alpha Beta Duke have yet to get a decisive win on the other one. Usually the match has been thrown out or in the case of their scramble match at “Double Edge Sword”, the teams would rather battle then worry about a win. Will this be the final chapter of the feud? Will one team at least get one up on the other? Needless to say, the feelings in this one at heated and will explode at Dragged To Hell!

THUMBTACK DEATH MATCH: REBIS VS. JOHN THORNE!
When “The Passion” John Thorne joined up with Rebis and The Potato in their war on women, people were shocked. Rebis and Potato, known as Team Sexy aren’t exactly the “Coolest” people in the locker room to say the least and both frankly might have zero wins in AIW. Once the partnership ended, Thorne destroyed both at “Honor and Vengeance”. Rebis, who many thought to be injured by Thorne has asked for a Thumbtack Death Match! Rebis, who practically is committing suicide, even asked for fans to bring additional thumbtacks than the ones he’s bringing. Thorne who’s won in No Ropes Barbed Wire, wrestled Drake Younger and Necro Butcher and has used about every weapon allowed in wrestling, quickly accepted. Will Rebis even make the 50th show in December? Or does the wacky Rebis actually have a way to beat “The Passion” John Thorne?

THE YOUNG STUDS DEFEND AIW TAG TITLES AGAINST Team Pink Mustache(Marion Fontaine and Pinkie Sanchez)
At “Gauntlet For The Gold 4″ The Young Studs attacked Marion Fontaine for no reason. This lead to a match later in the night, even though Fontaine wasn’t involved. Fontaine vowed to gain revenge and while it’s taken time, he’s got his chance. Fontaine who has gained and lost more friends than anybody in AIW history, claims he has a perfect partner to beat Eric Ryan and Bobby Beverly. Familiar with both, Fontaine might just have the chance to win the AIW Tag Titles. Who could his partner be? None other than then the returning Pinkie Sanchez!

HAILEY HATRED CHALLENGES THE JACK OF LOVE!
Hailey who was ready to face Super Oprah at “Double Edge Sword” instead accepted a challenge laid out by Jefferson Saint for any AIW Title. Saint with the help of Chest Flexor and a pair of brass knuckles won the AIW Womens Title for 30 seconds until Ref Drew Taylor found the knucks and restarted the match. Upset over his loss, Saint and Flexor attacked Hailey and laid her out. Hailey fresh off a 30 minute victory over Sara Del Rey , hasn’t forgotten this attack. She’s challenged Flexor and Saint and isn’t coming alone. She’s bringing her tag partner in other companies, Jessika Havoc to have her back. Saint and Flexor have never faced a challenge like Havok and Hatred before, and while female they are incredibly dangerous. Will Saint and Flexor be able to beat “two dumb broads” as they put it. Or will Havok and Hatred prove that females are as tough as men?

ABSOLUTE OPPORTUNITY!
On Friday October 23rd fans and pro wrestlers have a chance to take part in a very unique experience as AIW presents for the first time ever the “Absolute Opportunity.” This is a interactive experience where the fans chose the fate of 12 new superstars competing in AIW for the first time ever and the fans decided who comes back and who is condemned to never return.
