Results – IWA at The Backstage – 8/23/12

The show opened and Wrathchyld came to the ring to address the crowd on the actions of Bobby Watson at Red White and bruised. Wrath explained how he “had something to say to Watson” and called the Manager out to the ring. “beautiful” Bobby came out and Wrath simply asked “why” . Bobby explained that Wrath is better suited as a Singles Champ and that Watson and the Riot Squad have always been on the same side.. Bobby also explained that tonight’s title match against Gator was proof of his loyalty to Wrath and he would be ringside in Wrathchylds corner. WrathChyld told Bobby not to interfere at all in the match.

- WrathChyld vs. Jerry the Gator (with Black Wydow) for the Ohio Heavyweight Championship: Jerry Brought out a Amazon of a woman to “Watch his back” and to offset the actions Of Bobby Watson who did remain at ringside. This match was over quickly when Wrath decimated Gator but in the Process Knocked out the NEW IWA Ref Dusty Quaid.. Wrath pinned gator but the Ref was unconscious due to getting caught in a splash bu the Legendary one… Bobby Watson told wrath “i cant interfere remember But i got this…” Watson woke up the ref who proceeded to count the three count and you Winner and
NEW Ohio Heavyweight Champion WRATHCHYLD who celebrated his win with Bobby Watson in the ring..

Rick Ramsey Pinned the Debuting Star Chip Endale and then attacked and Piledrived Matt the Ref much to the delight of the Chillicothe Crowd

Link Landon faced off against Elliot Whitescarver in a classic U S Title Match with Link Landon taking the win in a close match that could have gone either way at any point

After a short intermission and a singing of “happy Birthday” by the entire locker room and audience to 7 yr old fan Zac, we continued in the action with

Rok Wyler facing M E Howerton in a NON title match-up… During the match when Rok Wyler hit a “Wyler Driver” on Howerton the Riot Squad Broke up the pin and berated Howerton (who was a former Riot Squad member) this lead to a beatdown on both Howerton and Rok who attempted to make a save …
IWA Commissioner Jacqelyn Hyde Came out and Yelled at the Riot Squad and Made a Match for next month Between The Riot Squad and….Rok Wyler with M E Howerton and then made it for the TAG TEAM TITLES!!!

Next up was a Tag Team title Match Between a visibly angry Riot Squad and For Tag team Champion Rage with Partner “Southern Knight” Brian Blade… The Riot Squad defeated Rage and Blade with Derek Flynt getting the Pinfall on the Painted Rage…

Then in was time for the Main Event:

B D Feilds music hits and the “Epic” one came out to address (and Insult) the Crowd but said he “respected” Gee Gee and wanted to wrestle a “true Champion” even “if was in Chillicothe”..

Gee Gee came out and ranted about how the IWA held him back, forced him to wrestle time and again for a title he never got a rematch for, and even accused the commissioner of Plotting against him…

But He DID agree to the title match saying not even raising the Weight limit would affect the outcome…

the Main event started between these two and it was a BARN BURNER of a match!!! Hold for Hold, counter for counter, a wrestling clinic was performed where it seemed NEITHER man would give an inch…the Crowd REALLY got into this match and when the dust settled…

your Winner and NEW Cruiserweight Champion…

We have already been promised that Next moth Gee Gee has demanded his rematch and it WILL Be granted!!!
