Huskie Howard Interviews Jason Legend
Posted on June 20, 2012 by Huskie Howard

Jason Legend
Legend: No sir. Thank you, and I’m doing just fine.
Huskie: How long have you been in the wrestling business and how did you get your start?
Legend: Well, I’ve been in the wrestling business for about two and a half years, and I got my start in the World Wrestling Coalition. I was trained by several superstars such as “Superstar” Shawn Parks, “Pretty Boy” Jimmy Malloy, “Re-Enforcer” Devlin Anderson, “Dangerous” Damien Kass, Eclipso and the list goes on. I can’t thank them enough, but I will always be in training because each time I get in the ring I always learn something.
Huskie: What was it like getting trained by so many talented wrestlers?
Legend: It was truly a blessing. I know I’ve read several of your interviews, and that question has popped up a few times, and most of the answers I have seen are usually just one name. So I kind of feel lucky that I had those guys in my corner. No matter what question I had, they always had an answer.
Huskie: Who are your influences in wrestling?
Legend: Ricky Steamboat, Chris Benoit, Eddie Guerrero, Mr. Perfect, Great Muta, Shawn Michaels, A.J. Styles and Jerry “The King” Lawler.
Huskie: What is your dream match?
Legend: My dream match would be me vs. Ricky Steamboat. My Indy dream match would be me vs. Vance Desmond.
Huskie: What is your favorite match that you have ever seen?

Jason Legend getting ready to suplex Eclipso at RCW 100.
Huskie: What has been your favorite match that you have been involved in so far in your young career?
Legend: My favorite match was recently at RCW 100 vs. one of my trainers, Eclipso.
Huskie: I was there at that show, that match was a really good match, it was action packed.
Legend: Thank you sir. We both brought our A game and that show was amazing!
Huskie: Speaking of RCW 100. What did It mean to you to be apart of such a big event?
Legend: With me being the youngest talent, and on one of RCW’s greatest events ever, was truly an honor. I can’t wait to do it again.
Huskie: What’s it like being on the road traveling from show to show?
Legend: Well, let’s put it this way…it’s fun but also exhausting. What a lot of people don’t know is when you take on the responsibility and role with wrestling, it’s not just getting in the ring and beating the other guy down. It’s also a huge sacrifice being away from your family and friends. When I’m in the locker room with the other guys, it seems like I have another family. It’s such a great feeling to have, especially when you are two or three hours away from home. I definitely look up to the veterans that have been in the business for ten and twenty years.
Huskie: If you could wrestle any where in the world, where would it be and why?

Legend getting ready to drop his opponent with an Ace Crusher.
Huskie: What are your thoughts on Indy wrestling in Ohio?
Legend: It’s amazing and fun!! I always learn something new at each promotion that I work for.
Huskie: What do you want to accomplish in your wrestling career?
Legend: Just like every rookie starting out…I want to capture my first World Heavyweight Title, and wrestle some of my favorite wrestlers.
Huskie: How do you want to be remembered after your wrestling career is over?
Legend: As the guy that gave 110% every time I stepped in the ring. Also as the guy that sent the fans home with their moneys worth.
Huskie: What companies do you currently work for?
Legend: RCW, Bizarro Live, IWA, XWE, WWC and hopefully ASW soon.
Huskie: Bizarro is perhaps the most interesting promotion in all of Ohio. What are your thoughts on this promotion?
Legend: It’s an amazing promotion and it’s a lot of fun. You never know what to expect at a Bizarro show. Also it’s growing with each show. So I can see Bizarro going places.
Huskie: Do you have anything to say to the villains of Bizarro?

Legend celebrates with MMA star T.J. Wash in Bizarro Live.
Huskie: Why should a promoter book you?
Legend: Well I am young, I am eager to learn, and I am reliable. I will give 110% in the ring, and give the fans what they paid for.
Huskie: Do you have any advice for those who are looking to get into the wrestling business?
Legend: Yes! If you are wanting to get into this business you have to give wrestling 100% and nothing less than that. Wrestling is not just a sport, it takes passion and heart to do what we do. Last but not least, if you are not trained DO NOT DO THIS AT HOME!
Huskie: Is there anything you would like to say to your fans?
Legend: Thank you so much for coming to the shows and supporting me. I couldn’t do this without them! Because without the fans, there wouldn’t be any wrestling.
Huskie: How can your fans follow you online?
Legend: They can find me on Facebook at www.facebook.com/jason.ld.14 or search for me on YouTube and watch my matches!
Huskie: Alright Jason, our time is up and I’d like to once again thank you for your time.
Legend: No, thank you sir for your time and for the interview. Anytime you want to do this again, you know where to find me! DEUCES!!
Huskie: Ok wrestling fans, be sure to get out and support Jason Legend, an amazing young talent with a bright future ahead of him, at a show near you. Until next time, you’ve been Hanging with Huskie!
