Saturday night’s Dynamic Destiny was a huge success that saw a new DWA champion crowned without a match and then changed hands in an impromptu one. A crowd of around 150 witnessed what would be a monumental occasion. Everyone on the card did their best to make an impact within the company. If you weren’t there, here is what you missed…

The first match was a contest between The S.I. and Idol Heinze. Heinze won this match using his Heinzington Beach Dive. After this match, Colonel Jonathan James made his way back out, stared down The Boss and said he had an announcement to make. He went on about Michaels not being in the tournament and said he was ensuring the title went with the VIP’s. He told the shocked crowd he had acquired the services of Shomari. The man from the Republic of the Congo came out and the Boss almost wet his pants in fear. Focused on the title and the new DWA Ring Girl, Cori, Shomari turned to the crown and shouted out in his native tongue before going to the back with his new manager.

The second match featured a changed Princeton Travis, who now has turned his ear away from the fans who used to so lovingly cheered him, and Virus. The new attitude did not help Princeton as he went down to defeat. The S.I. came out and hopped up to the apron and Travis went to whip Virus into him. Virus reversed it but Travis stopped just short of the collision and Virus snuck up and hit a reverse rollup. S.I. and PT then double-teamed him before leaving the ring and ordering him to get a partner for a tag match. Heinze made his way back out and offered his services.

Next on the card was “The Showcase” Brett Michaels (W/Col. Jonathan James) taking on the WWE Legend Demolition Ax. Early on, Ax used alot of rulebreaking techniques from the old days on Michaels to the delight of the crowd. But in the end, a boot to the face out of the corner and a massive clothesline gave the victory to the Legend.

After intermission was the tag match between Heinze & Virus and The S.I. & PT. This ended in victory for the initialed ones as The S.I. hit an STL on Virus after a backflip from Travis.

It was now time for the semi-final matches for the DWA Heavyweight title. The first match was between “The Frontman” Evan Da Malice and the Col. James-led Shomari. These two men spent most of the match throwing punches, forearms and elbows. But it took a chair thrown into the ring by The Colonel after the ref had been knocked down, for the tide to turn. Shomari wedged it into the corner and went to spear Evan. He moved and Shomari went head-first into it. Brett Michaels, who had come to ringside minutes before, slid into the ring with another chair and drilled Da Malice with it. The ref slowly came to and counted both men out. James and Michaels re-entered the ring and, with Shomari, triple-teamed Evan until the music of Ax filled the building. He emerged and soon the ring was cleared and a challenge was made for the fairgrounds show tonight between Ax & Da Malice and Michaels & Shomari.

The next semi-final match was to have been between Terek the Legend and Flash Flanagan only Flanagan was unable to appear. With the Double Countout in the previous match, the title was awarded to Terek due to forfeit. After ripping the fans, music hit the air and Vic the Bruiser came out and issued a challenge. The DWA powers that be made the match and there would be a title defense. Terek appeared to have made a successful defense as he used a chain on Vic and made the pin. But DWA founder Johnny Diamond made the referee check Terek and the chain was revealed. The match was restarted and Vic surprised the champ with a rollup and got the 3-count for the victory and the title. So your new Dynamic Wrestling Alliance World Heavyweight Champion is Vic the Bruiser!
