Results – NWF: Royal Rumble ’10 – 5/15/10

The Northern Wrestling Federation returned to the UAW Hall in Fairfield, OH on Saturday May 15, 2010 for another night of awesome wrestling action. If you weren’t there, here is what you missed…
In a bonus match, Tri-State Champion Austin Meddler defeated Horatio Sanchez.
NWF CEO Kirk Sheppard came out to the ring and brought his running mate, Josh Wellington into the ring and attempted to campaign for votes. He also made Chad Allegra the #1 entrant in the Royal Rumble. To say Sheppard has lost touch with the fans of the NWF is an understatement.
The Genuine Superstar Anthony Bryant (with Kirk Sheppard), Stewie Backlund, and Jeremy “I’m Your Hero” Hyde defeated The Thugs & the returning Mack the Knife. After the match, Nasty Russ took money out of Mack the Knife’s wallet.
Coach Lotus defeated The Fitness Machine.
Samson & Muldoon defeated The Infection by disqualification.
Pompano Joe defeated Matt Stephens with interference from Jesse Hyde.
Unified Champion Jay Donaldson defeated The Warlock in a FIVE COUNT MATCH. After the match, that giant masked man attacked Donaldson and left him laying.
Hooks brought both incumbent CEO Kirk Sheppard (with a very reluctant Josh Wellington) and the Machine Gun Chad Allegra (with his runningmate Nate the Snake Pelley) down to the ring to find out who won the CEO election. With a whopping 97% of the vote, the new CEO is Allegra! In his victory speech, he announced that he was going to make Roger Ruffen the number 2 entrant in the Rumble. Then, both Allegra and Pelley hit Josh Wellington below the belt.
Jesse Hyde defeated Danny Todd with interference from Pompano Joe. Matt Stephens ran to the ring to make the save and Coach Lotus came down and challenged the Hippies to a tag team match for the next event on June 12th in Fairfield.
Chad Allegra was the #1 entrant in the Royal Rumble and Roger Ruffen was #2, thanks to Allegra. Also in the match was Stewie Backlund, Coach Lotus, Nasty Russ, The Warlock, Ice, Jeremy “I’m Your Hero” Hyde, The Zodiac, Sean “Virus” Harddrive, Malpractice, Austin Meddler, Pompano Joe, inGe, T-Money, Mack the Knife, Jesse Hyde, Matt Stephens, Jay Donaldson, and Muldoon.
It came down to Ruffen & Allegra, who were battling on the ring apron. Former CEO Kirk Sheppard and the Genuine Superstar came out of the curtain causing a distraction. The referees came down and stopped them but didn’t see Allegra eliminate Ruffen from the match. As Allegra was celebrating, The Superstar evaded the referees and ran to the ring and attacked Allegra and threw Ruffen into the ring. Ruffen then got up and eliminated Allegra – which the referees did see. After the match, Bryant and Sheppard attacked Allegra until Nate Pelley came down and hit Sheppard below the belt. Allegra then did the same to Bryant and then challenged the two of them to a tag team match June 12th vs. Allegra & Pelley!
