WWC Presents FallOut on 3/13/10
Posted on March 3, 2010 by Sara
World Wrestling Coalition presents: FallOut 2010
WWC’s final show on the road to King of Extreme, FallOut is sure to be jam packed with wrestling action. Already signed for the night, Superstar Shawn Parks puts the North American Championship on the line against ‘the Dark Star’ Matt Taylor. Taylor defeated Aaron Williams at Broken Hearts Bash to become the number one contender to the Heavyweight belt. Is Taylor attempting to sweep both divisions?
The roster of the WWC will be fighting to secure their spots in the 2010 King of Extreme through qualifying matches. The winner of the coveted KOE spot receives one contract to challenge for any title within the following 12 months. These qualifying matches will feature much of WWC’s best talent, including DJ Tom Sharp, Terry Reines, and the in-ring return of Dave Nevada and a match between 2009 KOE winner Dean ‘the dream’ Jablonski and former WWC Champion Aaron Williams.
Williams lost the #1 contendership in February, so qualifying for and winning KOE could be his only shot at the belt in 2010. Jablonski was last present in WWC as the enforcer of policy for The Patrick Black Administration. What does Black have in store this powerhouse who once bent others to the will of the Administration?
There is only one way to find out. Come see the action and get our questions answered as WWC presents FallOut ‘10; Saturday, March 13, 2010 at the Aberdeen Municipal Building at 99 Main Cross Street Aberdeen, Ohio! Doors Open at 6:30 with a 7PM Bell time. Keep watch on www.wwcweb.com for more breaking news and pre-sale tickets. Pre-sale can also be purchased at Active Care Chiropractic in Maysville, KY.
More information can also be found as it becomes available on WWC’s official Facebook and Myspace pages, and right here on Wrestle Ohio!

IWA – Chillicothe, OH
Posted on March 2, 2010 by V.L. Stricklett
The International Wrestling Alliance has announced three huge matches for their March 4, 2010 event in Chillicothe Ohio.
In one main event, Dr. David Lanning will be squaring off against the Razorback – J.T. Hogg. At one point Lanning was actually Hogg’s manager. And the two was thick as thieves. But that all ended when Lanning decided to try his luck as a in ring competitor. The good doctor adopted a more rule abiding approach to wrestling than the brawling style preferred by Hogg. Thus tension rose between the two. The real problems came when Hogg and Lanning started teaming together. Not only did the two not approve of each others style but Hogg believed Lanning was trying to always steel all the glory by doing all the talking during interviews. This all led to probably the most brutal break up of any team in IWA history. Hogg viciously attacked Lanning after several of Lanning’s matches. Often leaving him beaten and bloody.
The two will square off March 4th in a No Holds Barred contest. Basically there will be no rules and either man can do anything he wants. Lanning, who gives up over two hundred and fifty pounds to Hogg, is promising some sort of a surprise.
In the co main event “The A Game” Rick Ramsey will be defending his United States Championship against IWA newcomer Bryan Castle. Castle has only been in the IWA a short few months but he has already racked up quite a favorable record. His only glaring defeat has been at the hands of former IWA Hvwt. champ – Chris Cruit. But Castle feels he is ready for the challenge of capturing the U.S. belt. Ramsey on the other hand seems to not be to worried. His only comment on being challenged by Castle: “I’ve fought better,” he stated.
Just added to this event with be a IWA Cruiserweight contest as Charlie Brown will be getting his opportunity to capture the title from the champ, Pete News. Will Brown prove to have what it takes?
DO NOT MISS THIS BIG IWA EVENT!!!
Thursday March 4th – the Backstage (47 S. Paint St. Chillicothe Ohio) 7:30 Belltime.
Tickets just $8 in advance. Adv. tickets available at the Backstage and Renicks Restaurant. Seats $10 at the door on show night. Kids under 10 are FREE!

Scheduled line-up:
PWO CHAMPION JOHNNY GARGANO BATTLES MICHAEL “THE BOMBER” FAÇADE
Just days removed from successfully defending the PWO Title against Bobby Beverly, Gargano once again refuses no challenges, this time in the form of the man that combined the discipline of the martial arts with the recklessness of life on the streets, graffiti artist extraordinaire Michael “The Bomber” Façade, fresh off of winning a wild four-way match involving internationally-renowned competitors. It hasn’t been long since Façade made his PWO return, thusly officials have not granted him a title shot yet, however Gargano was more than happy to accept a non-title match in order to test his skills against someone who brings an entirely different style and dynamic to the table. Add this in to a rapidly growing list of title contenders Gargano must worry about, and also a tense moment with ex-rival Gregory Iron this past week where Iron refused to shake Gargano’s hand, and one must question the state of mind of the PWO Champion. Can Façade catch Gargano off his game and score a career-making win? Or can the champion continue to find a way to pull through and not be detracted by a constantly growing level of adversity?
PWO TAG TITLES: SEX APPEAL DEFEND AGAINST PUERTO RICAN WRECKING CREW
The Puerto Rican Wrecking Crew, Luis Diamante & Isaac Montana, thought they had a tag title shot all to themselves two months ago. That is, until Sex Appeal used threats and legal loopholes to sneak into that title match and escape as new PWO Tag Team Champions. The Wrecking Crew were understandably upset, and were granted this title opportunity as a chance to extract revenge. Sex Appeal, meanwhile, have continued to use legal loopholes to institute “The Freebird Rule”, meaning any two of the three members of Sex Appeal (or even manager Dawn Decadence) could legally defend the PWO Tag Titles in a sanctioned title defense. What combination of Bobby Shields, Bobby Beverly, and Nicki Valentino will see action this week? Will The Puerto Rican Wrecking Crew, along with their manager The Ambassador, be able to win tag gold for the entire Latin American community or will Sex Appeal continue their roll?
GREGORY IRON & HOBO JOE vs. ERIC RYAN & COREY WINTERS
Iron & Hobo, the “Handicapped Hero” and “Dumpster Dweller” have united with the common goal of defeating and humiliating Sex Appeal and taking their tag team titles to avenge countless past wrongdoings by the superficial super group, however before they can achieve their goal they must earn their way to a title opportunity. Iron & Hobo defeated the young tandem of Ryan & Winters a few weeks ago, but the duo requested a return bout to redeem their loss, claiming they’ve found the “missing piece to the puzzle”. What is it exactly? Will it be successful? Can Gregory Iron & Hobo Joe continue to build momentum? Will Hobo Joe be able to put aside his trust issues after being betrayed by so many former friends to trust Greg and embrace him as a true tag team partner?
BEN FRUITH vs. “BIG BEAR” BENJAMIN BOONE
Ben Fruith’s punishment continues. With Mike Tolar not even in attendance to watch his would-be protégé get slaughtered on a regular basis, the cold and callous treatment of PWO’s gullible loveable loser only continues to worsen. Benjamin Boone has not been pinned since aligning with N8 Mattson, a streak that has now lasted one entire year. This 275 lb. animal with a message to send to all of PWO’s top stars, namely Jason Bane and Johnny Gargano, will no doubt have ample chance to make a statement here. Can Ben Fruith and the Fruith Roll Up save him from disaster? Or will he be devoured by the Big Bear?
PLUS: Jason Bane will be in attendance, we hear comments from ex-Clash member Brian Bender, a look back at Marion Fontaine’s recent meltdown and much more!
PWO Special Report – Gargano/Iron Tension
Posted on March 2, 2010 by Joe Dombrowski
This past Sunday night on PWO Television, we saw Johnny Gargano successfully defend the PWO Championship against Sex Appeal’s Bobby Beverly, however there was an unlikely assistance to that victory. Once fellow Sex Appeal members Bobby Shields & Nicki Valentino appeared on the scene to attempt to finish Gargano’s championship reign once and for all and help crown Bobby Beverly new PWO Champion, we saw the newly-formed tag team of Gregory Iron and Hobo Joe appear to thwart Sex Appeal’s goals as part of a months-long saga between those two teams that only continues to escalate. Once Gargano had recovered enough to pin Beverly, and Sex Appeal were chased from the area, we saw Gargano, Iron, and Hobo standing triumphant mid-ring. After Gargano shook Hobo’s hand and thanked him for the help, the tension began to build as we all realized the sight before us, as Johnny Gargano and Gregory Iron met face-to-face in a PWO ring for the first time in nearly two years since their barbaric Last Man Standing battle at the inaugural PWO Wrestlelution supercard. Gargano, who has spent the past several months attempting to turn over a new leaf, prove he’s a changed man from prior years, to entertain fans and defend the PWO Championship with the credibility and prestige it deserves, extended his hand to Iron as well as a token of thanks. Iron, clearly torn and emotionally distraught, simply turned his back and walked away, refusing to shake the champion’s hand.
But why did PWO’s “Handicapped Hero” behave in such a way? To understand the present, it is important to re-visit the past.
It was the very first episode of PWO TV in the fall of 2007, where Johnny Gargano, young, cocky, and full of limitless potential, was cleanly defeated by a young and ambitious Gregory Iron, whom at the time was looked at as nothing more than second-class enhancement talent. The loss to someone whom Gargano perceived to be “beneath” him set off a chain reaction of insecurity, jealousy, and rage, spiraling out of control when Gargano committed what is still known to be the most heinous and violent act in PWO history, when he savagely attacked Iron, severely jeopardizing not only Iron’s career, but also his life by giving him his second serious concussion inside of a six month period.
Footage of this assault can be seen below, however we caution viewer discretion is advised.

Following that incident, Gregory Iron made an inspirational recovery, risking the career he had worked his entire life to achieve to battle Gargano in a “Last Man Standing” battle at Wrestlelution. While Gargano ended up winning the match, it was Iron who scored perhaps the more important moral victory, by standing up and leaving under his own power, proving that no man could destroy his dream.
Fast-forward to nearly two years later and both men have changed dramatically. Gargano has realized his potential and risen to become champion. Iron has become among the most tenacious, respected, and resilient competitors in all of PWO. Yet, this past week each man found themselves in the all too familiar situation of standing across the ring from one another.
Sources close to the situation say Gargano was noticeably distraught and frustrated after PWO went off the air, upset that Gregory Iron refused to shake his hand. It appears that Gargano is trying to put his past behind him, but with the violent and ultra-personal history Gargano & Iron have, is it possible here? Gargano plans to address this issue in the coming weeks, and has given our cameras permission to document it, as Johnny intends to show the whole world his true intentions. Gregory Iron could not be reached for immediate comment, and all calls and text messages have been unanswered.
Can Johnny Gargano repair and reverse what critics consider to be the biggest mistake of his career? Gregory Iron is an amazing human being and constant humanitarian, but can he find it in his heart to forgive that which nearly ended everything he holds dear? Stay posted to PWO TV and Online for further updates.
