The Northern Wrestling Federation kicked off the New Year in style as they presented Slammin’ in the New Year at BoneKrushers in Cincinnati, OH earlier today. If you weren’t there, here’s what you missed…
Ice defeated KY Jordan & Malpractice.
NWF CEO Kirk Sheppard brought “The Genuine Superstar” Anthony Bryant, Jeremy “I’m Your Hero” Hyde, and “The Playboy” Scott Hayes to the ring to talk about the day’s matches as well as the 6 man tag team match in Fairfield on January 23rd. Roger Ruffen, Ryan Stone, and Muldoon came out to the ring with Sin D and responded to Sheppard’s claims. Then, NWF Champion Ryan Stone made a match between himself & Roger Ruffen vs. The Genuine Superstar…and CEO Kirk Sheppard. Sheppard tried to get out of it, but Roger and Sin D – as the owners of the NWF – forced it to happen.
Christopher Michael Lotus defeated Mike Strong.
The Thugs defeated Austin Meddler & Sir Daniel Montingham.
Matt Stephens & Horatio Sanchez defeated The Fitness Machine & The Warlock.
Legendary Larry D defeated Sean “Virus” Harddrive. After the match, Larry D said he was targeting Ryan Stone and the NWF Title.
The Hippies defeated Stewie Backlund & inGe.
Muldoon defeated Jeremy “I’m Your Hero” Hyde by countout when Bryant & Hayes pulled him out of the ring.
Jay Donaldson defeated The Playboy to become the NEW NWF Unified Champion.
NWF Champion Ryan Stone & Roger Ruffen (with Sin D) defeated The Genuine Superstar Anthony Bryant & NWF CEO Kirk Sheppard by DQ when The Playboy and the Hero ran in. Muldoon then ran in to even the odds and Sheppard and his soldiers retreated to the locker room.
