Mad Pro Wrestling returned to Circleville, OH this past Sunday for another awesome afternoon of family friendly action. If you weren’t there, here’s what went down…

MPW MX Title – Ganger defeated Mike Dodge(c)

After the match Dodge congratulated Ganger, then informed the crowd that even though he wasn’t able to beat Ganger, his cousin who just arrived from Jersey would love nothing more than to get a shot at the new MX Champion. Ganger accepted the challenge.

MPW Heavyweight Championship – Kaden Assad (c) defeated Matt Taylor via DQ

Taylor had Assad locked in a sharpshooter, when Jeremy Madrox entered the ring and attacked his partner Kaden Assad, at which point the ref had no choice but to call for the bell and award Kaden the winner via DQ.

After the match The Heatseakers once again began a beat down on Matt Taylor, until the ‘Director of Operations’ Josh Hayes & Matt Mason rushed the ring! Hayes informed everybody that the Assad/Taylor feud will end January 3rd, as the two will meet one more time in a NO DQ, ANYTHING GOES Match for the MPW Title!

MX Title – Ganger (c) defeated Mikey D.

Though Mikey D. made an impressive debut, and had the crowd behind him…it wasn’t enough in the end. Mikey D attempted to hit Ganger with his ‘Muscle Milk’ container, however Ganger was able to duck the attack and get the upperhand which lead to a pinfall victory.

Matt Mason defeated Jeremy Madrox

Mason made quite the Sunday Showcase Show impression winning in the main event this week! Kaden Assad attempted to get involved, but it just wasn’t enough as Mason was able to out smart & out move both Madrox & Assad picking up the victory!

MPW had one of our best years in 2009, and we can’t wait to kick off the New Year next Sunday, January 3, 2010.

Already announced for our first show of the New Year & Decade will be Kaden Assad & Matt Taylor hopefully ending this feud of theirs once and for all when they meet one more time this Sunday in a NO DQ, ANYTHING GOES Match for the MPW Championship!!

Also, Ganger defends his newly won MX Title. Plus Matt Mason, Mikey D, Jeremy Madrox, Dusty Dillenger, and many more! All THIS SUNDAY at the Pickaway County Fairgrounds Grange Building, 415 Lancaster Pike, Circleville Ohio! Admission is just $3.00.

Scheduled airtimes for this week’s episode (all times Eastern Standard):

Sunday night, January 3: 10:00 pm & 3:30 am
Thursday night, January 4: 4:00 am

Scheduled line-up –

“PWO’s Most Dominant Man” Jason Bane vs. “Big Bear” Benjamin Boone
Jason Bane became a marked man a few weeks ago when arch-nemeses and evil power-agent Aaron Maguire successfully put, not just one or two adversaries, but EVERYONE against PWO’s Most Dominant Man by promising a cool $10,000 to anyone who can rid PWO of Jason Bane. Bane is a man alone more than ever, not knowing who to trust or where to turn… but he certainly will not run scared. “Big Bear” Benjamin Boone is still unpinned since moving to Michigan and aligning with “Amazing” N8 Mattson. With Mattson reportedly refusing to return to PWO action until he’s granted a PWO Television Title shot he feels he is owed, it’s up to Boone to fight for his Michigan agenda. Can The Big Bear take his career to a whole new level, eliminate Bane, and make Michigan’s economy $10,000 richer? Or can Jason Bane fight off the first attempt at taking his PWO career?

Comments from Johnny Gargano & Mike Tolar – One Week Before Their Rematch!
When PWO Champion Johnny Gargano met the challenge of “Greatest Thing Going Today” Mike Tolar several weeks ago, Tolar’s devious plotting and manipulation of his hapless lackey Ben Fruith proved to be quite costly, leading to a successful Gargano defense. Tolar spent weeks petitioning to PWO management that he received an unfair shake, going as far as to blame Fruith for the outcome of the match. Management finally gave in, and a rematch was signed, seven days from this Sunday night on PWO TV. With just one week until the epic confrontation, both champion and challenger have the chance to speak out once more. How will Tolar explain the previous encounter? Will Gargano remain the fearless fighting champion, already accepting challenges from Mike Tolar and “M-Dogg 20” Matt Cross, with no doubt more on the horizon? Both stars speak out this week!

PWO Television Title: “Omega” Aaron Draven vs. “True Talent” Bobby Shields w/Dawn Decadence
Several weeks ago PWO’s thrillseeker and daredevil, Aaron Draven, attempted to valiantly defend his newly-one PWO Television Title against one of the cornerstones of Sex Appeal, Bobby Shields. However, after being examined by PWO doctors, it was determined the rib, back, and head injuries Draven had sustained before and during his PWO TV Title match at PWO Wrestlelution 2 were just too severe to medically clear him to compete. Management granted Draven a reprieve and rescheduled the match, much to Shields’ dismay. Shields finally receives his opportunity this Sunday night on television! Can Sex Appeal add prestigious gold to their self-proclaimed sexy waists? Or can Aaron Draven use his newfound health to continue to defy and defeat?

Matthew Justice vs. Michael “The Bomber” Façade
Two men not afraid to fly will collide in a match of mutual respect, bragging rights, and potential future title contendership. Justice has stepped up his game in recent weeks, even going toe-to-toe with first-ever PWO Champion M-Dogg 20 Matt Cross several weeks ago. Façade has made his PWO return after a lengthy absence, and showed a gutsy and determined performance against “Big Bear” Ben Boone in his return bout. This week, two men who think and compete in much the same way as the other will collide.

Puerto Rican Wrecking Crew Debut!
PWO gets its first look at Luis Diamante & Isaac Montana, collectively known as The Puerto Rican Wrecking Crew. These Latin American standouts have one goal in PWO, and that’s an encounter with The Clash with PWO Tag Team Titles on the line. The Wrecking Crew will give us comments this week, addressing the fans they wish to earn the support of, and the tag team champions that they hope to defeat.

All this plus more!

If you don’t get Sports Time Ohio, call your cable or satellite provider and find out how you can be a part of PWO TV!

WWC Kicks Off 2010 with Resolution on 1/09/10

Fans, WWC intends to start the New Year off in a big way when they
present WWC Resolution on January 9th, 2010! Held in our home venue at the Aberdeen Municipal Building, we have one of the biggest main events in recent history headed your way: current WWC Champion JT Stahr will take on the man he beat for the title, Cody Hawk, in a 2 Out Of 3 Falls match! The Executive Committee heard a complaint from Hawk that Stahr’s victory came when Hawk’s shoulder was off of the mat – and have determined that this match will end the controversy once and for all!

But that’s not the end of the excitement on this show, folks – Matt Taylor will be facing Aaron Williams again in singles action! Will Matt’s newfound manager Violent Bob prove a factor in this match, or will Aaron once again overcome the odds to pin the man he beat in 2008′s Match of the Year pairing?

After months of ducking, Ganger has been ordered to face Devlin Anderson, the partner of the most recent casualty in Ganger’s one man war against the “pillars of the WWC”. Devlin’s anger at the loss of his friend Dave Nevada has only increased as he’s faced opponent after opponent, waiting for his chance to get his hands on Ganger – the building may not be strong enough to contain this grudge match!

We’ll be seeing plenty of your other favorite WWC stars in action, as Will Profit leads the Solar Powers into another tag team encounter, International Incident defend their Tag Team gold, “Superstar” Shawn Parks continues his series of open challenges and MORE as WWC presents Resolution at the Aberdeen Municipal Building, 99 Main Cross St, Aberdeen OH 45101. Doors open at 6:00, Bell time is at 7:00 for the first of many hot shows from the WWC in 2010! Get your pre-sale tickets at Active Care Chiropractic in Maysville or by heading over to the WWC SHOP now!

The Mastermind is forcing Al Snow to finally show himself in RCW on Saturday, January 9th at the Elk’s City Lodge in Portsmouth. Doors open at 6:30pm with a 7:30pm Belltime. Not only does the former WWE Superstar have to show up by The RCW Commissioner is forcing him to team with Onyx and Ace Gigolo to take out Da Rydas and Judas Thorn once and for all. You do not want to miss this event! RCW WILL NEVER BE THE SAME! Presale tickets available NOW at Castle Comics, Front Row Video, and Domino’s Pizza at $10ea. RESERVED First Row Seating available only ONLINE for $12ea. Kids 4 & Under are FREE! This show is sure to SELL OUT so make sure you get your tickets NOW! Please take a moment to THANK OUR SPONSORS: WAGNER RENTAL & SUPPLY of NEW BOSTON, 84 LUMBER of HUNTINGTON, & FRED BRISKER & ASSOCIATES of PORTSMOUTH. If you stop at any of these places, please let them know how much you appreciate them supporting RCW WRESTLING. Not only is AL SNOW finally making himself known to RCW fans but January 9th is stacked with nonstop action!

Newly crowned RCW World Heavyweight Champion, Vance Desmond along with his Manager Exotic E are living on cloud 9 following their victory over Flash Fury. Fans witnessed Flash Fury being robbed of his title. Fury is not opting for his rematch right away so the RCW Commissioner,The Mastermind found a suitable opponent for Desmond. A person who nearly defeated Desmond earlier in the year in Jackson, OH. Chad Cruise storms back onto the scene in RCW and gets the match of a lifetime. Exotic E and Desmond seem to be over confident where Cruise is concerned. They do not feel he has proved himself in RCW and they feel this match will be a walk in the park. Cruise told us that is the kind of attitude he is banking on. Will Chad Cruise shock Desmond and RCW fans alike?

The Mastermind is forcing The Phoenix, Al Snow, to team with “The Black Superman” Onyx and Ace Gigolo to take on Da Rydas (Trik Nasty and Juggulator) and Judas Thorn. Mastermind wants Da Rydas gone. Thorn and Onyx had an excellent match at FC7. What will happen when these 2 meet again? The Mastermind had reportedly offered Al Snow a visit with HEAD if Snow does indeed rid RCW of Da Rydas. That is incentive enough for Snow. We are also being told that Gigolo’s current partner Tyson Rogers will also be at ringside.

As we mentioned earlier, Flash Fury was robbed of the RCW World Heavyweight Title. He wasn’t robbed by someone you would expect either. “The American Idol” Dirk Extreme shocked the fans and his friend when he took a hammer and blatantly hit Fury right between the eyes costing him the Championship. Extreme hasn’t really explained himself on the Fan Forum. Maybe we will find out more on January 9th. Flash Fury is said to be livid and wanting the blood of The American Idol. Friends of Flash say they have NEVER seen him like this. Should be a barn burner!

RCW North American Champion, Jock Samson is still sitting pretty. First JD Santos was stripped of the title through malicious means by our illustrious Commissioner then Santos was suspended indefinitely for striking the Commissioner. Then Samson was also allowed to have his matches be contested under “JOCK’s RULES”. Which evidently Jock will ever know the Rules as he makes them up as he goes along. At FC7 both Otto Von Boogiemeister and Bryan Cross gave Samson a run fro his money even under his own rules. Samson will have to face Bryan Cross one on one this time. Can Cross overcome Jock’s Rules and walk away North American Champion?

Randy “The King” Allen for the first time in his career said “I QUIT” at FC7. Make no mistake though, The King is tough as nails and to only say those words ONCE in his career are a testament to that fact. Allen will face Nikki Tyler on January 9th. Tyler is coming off his victory over Heavy Metal. Can Tyler keep the momentum and upset the ring vet or will the KING prevail?Let’s not forget, Hollie Wood is always lurking in the corner of The King.

Speaking of Heavy Metal….it will be a clash of styles as Heavy Metal takes on the German rave machine known as Otto Von Boogiemeister. Both men have looked impressive since debuting in RCW. Otto is more of a high-flyer while Metal is a brawler. Who will advance up the RCW ladder?

PWO Match of the Year – PWO Title – Josh Prohibition defends against Johnny Gargano (PWO Wrestlelution 2 – 8/9/09)

A one time inseparable friendship turned to bitter hatred in a mere matter of weeks. Josh Prohibition & Johnny Gargano dominated Pro Wrestling Ohio for a year and a half, overcoming everyone to step in their path. However, when the chance for individual glory came, Prohibition was quick to use, betray, and manipulate his supposed best friend in order to achieve success. Prohibition intentionally cost Gargano a championship match, only for Josh himself to swoop in and steal the championship from Gargano’s fingertips. What followed was the beginning of Johnny Gargano’s personal journey, his coming of age, to realize Josh was more of a detriment than a help, and that Gargano could truly rise to his full potential if he became his own man. After Gargano finally stood up to Prohibition and issued a challenge for PWO’s signature event, “Wrestlelution 2”, the stage was set.

Tension was in the air, and a big-fight atmosphere was present as Prohibition and Gargano entered the ring to much fanfare. But once the bell sounded, and PWO Title was at stake, both men unleashed everything in this No-Disqualification war. What followed was a match so brutal, so personal, so emotional, and so violent that it had the entire Nautica Pavilion crowd on their feet through nearly the entire match. It is a match still raved about by anyone who saw it live or purchased it on DVD from www.PWOwrestling.com/catalog.

Now, for the first time, and quite possibly the last, you have the opportunity to see this epic match in its entirely on PWO TV on Sports Time Ohio. It is a match that changed PWO forever, and sent both Gargano & Prohibition on very different life-altering paths. If you see one episode of PWO TV, tune in this Sunday night to see two men put their bodies at risk to fight for personal pride and professional glory.

If you don’t get Sports Time Ohio, call your cable or satellite provider and find out how you can be a part of PWO TV!
