Results – MPW in Circleville, OH – 11/15/09

Posted on November 16, 2009 by

We’d like to thank all of the great fans in and around Circleville, OH who made our first of weekly Sunday Showcase Shows a huge success!

Super Oprah won a Battle Royal to decide who would get a title shot against Kaden Assad in the main event later on. The Battle Royal came down to Oprah & Takoda Moon, after the match Kaden Assad told the crowd that he was out to rid the world of filthy Americans who hated him..and since Takoda Moon is a Native American, he wanted to start with him…Takoda accepted the Non-Title Match.

Kaden Assad defeated Takoda Moon

Super Oprah defeated C.O. Hustler. Hustler came out and announced that his challenger no-showed and he wanted his hand raised…Oprah’s music hit and Super Oprah told the crowd that if Kaden Assad thought he could pull ‘double-duty’ that she could also do it and went on to defeat C.O. Hustler!

Ganger defeated Rok Wyler.

MPW Heavyweight Championship
Kaden Assad(c) defeated Super Oprah. Half way through the match Jeremy Madrox (who was injured, but still in attendance) attempted to help his friend Kaden out by handing him a steel chair…before Assad could use the chair, he realized the ref was gaining composure so he dropped the chair and fell to the ground (as if he had been hit with the chair)…when Oprah realized what was going on..she too fell to the floor holding her head! Since the ref had no clue who, if anybody, had actually used the chair..the match continued. While the ref was removing the steel chair, Kaden Assad low-blowed Oprah and proceeded to knock Oprah out with an assault of devastating moves to pick up the win. After the match, Assad decided to continue the beat-down..which then brought out Takoda Moon wielding a steel chair of his own! Needless to say, Assad quickly fled to the locker rooms.

Mad Pro Wrestling will be back in Circleville, OH this Sunday, November 22, 2009 with a 5:00 PM belltime for another Sunday Showcase with free admission. Don’t miss a moment of the action!

HWA – Middletown, OH

Posted on November 16, 2009 by

The Heartland Wrestling Association returns to The Sorg on Wednesday November 18th for another edition of HWA’s A Fight at the Opera! The Sorg Opera House is located at 65 S. Main Street in downtown Middletown!

Tickets are only $5.00 and the action begins at 7:30 PM!

HWA AMERICAN LUCHACORE CHAMPION AARON WILLIAMS vs. JESSE EMERSON

For the first time ever two of the HWA’s most popular competitors will meet with the HWA American Luchacore Championship on the line.

The champion, Aaron Williams will defend against Jesse Emerson.

Emerson is looking for that one definitive win to shoot him into the HWA’s upper echelon and a win over Williams would do just that. Meanwhile Williams is looking to both retain his gold and head into his HWA Heavyweight Title Match with King Vu on November 25th with momentum on his side!

THE IRISH AIRBORNE vs. THE NOBLE BLOODS

The Irish Airborne defeated the reigning HWA Tag Team Champions Royal Violence (King Vu & Jon Moxley) this past Wednesday by disqualification… a bitter sweet victory to say the least.

This Wednesday Dave and Jake find themselves in the ring once again with King Vu’s henchmen Lord Matthew Taylor and Sir Chadwick Cruise (collectively known as The Noble Bloods).

“BAD ATTITUDE” BRIAN BEECH & SHANK BARZINI vs. THE HYBRIDS

More tag team action is on tap for this Wednesday at The Sorg, as Brian Beech teams up with young Shank Barzini for the first time to take on the former HWA Tag Team Champions The Hybrids!

ALSO IN ACTION: JON MOXLEY, “NEW ATTITUDE” RON MATHIS, “THE MADNESS” CHRIS HALL, DUSTIN RAYZ and more!

Another red hot crowd took part in the Heartland Wrestling Association’s weekly tradition in Middletown, OH this past Wednesday night. Here’s what went down…

One half of The Kosher Klub, Joseph Schwartz, kicked off the show in winning fashion when he came out on top of a Triple Threat Match against Christopher Saint and Xavier Justice.

Next up was a rematch from the previous week as Jesse Emerson once again showed no fear as he stepped into the ring with “The Most Dangerous Man in the HWA” Jon Moxley.

The competitive match showcased the athleticism of both Emerson and Moxley, but it was Emerson who would outmaneuver Moxley and pick up the 1-2-3.

The latest chapter in the Brian Beech/Ron Mathis saga was written as the two former tag team partners would collide for the third time since the team split in September. Beech and Mathis both hold disqualification victories over the other and both were looking to pick up a definitive win last night, unfortunately for them it did not happen. Instead, Beech and Mathis battled to a double count out. The action got so intense on the floor that all available security and HWA officials were needed to break the men apart.

Next up was a Four Team Elimination Match to crown #1 contenders for the HWA Tag Team Titles.

The teams included The Noble Bloods (Lord Matthew Taylor & Sir Chadwick Cruise), The Madness (who had to go it alone, when his partner JT Stahr was unable to appear) Utterly Fabulous (Kid & Sid) and The Irish Airborne (Dave & Jake Crist).

With 7 men involved in a single match, senior official Joe Kopasz had his hands from the opening bell, as the fans were dazzled by a series of insane over the top rope dives, by Utterly Fabulous and The Irish Airborne as all hell broke loose.

The first team eliminated was Utterly Fabulous, who put up a fight and absorbed a lot of punishment, before their elimination.

Next out was “The Madness” Chris Hall, who found out going it alone was probably not the best move he could have made, especially in there with a team as proficient as The Irish Airborne.

That left The Irish Airborne with two men who have made their lives miserable for months, The Noble Bloods.

The Noble Bloods did everything they could to prevent The Irish Airborne from winning and challenging their king, King Vu and Jon Moxley, but there was no stopping the Airborne last night as they went on to win the match and earn a shot at Royal Violence on the November 11th Sorg show.

And in the main event of the evening, “The Angelic Assassin” Aaron Williams successfully defended his HWA American Luchacore Title against the reigning HWA Heavyweight Champion “King Vu” Richard Phillips.

Vu, who is also co-holder of the HWA Tag Team titles, was attempting to make HWA history as the only man to hold all the available championships simultaneously.

Vu seemingly took Williams a little lightly in the early goings of the match, but as the match wore on, Vu gained a great deal of respect for the man who has solidified the HWA American Luchacore title as a major championship.

But King Vu also showed Williams why he was the top man in the HWA, dishing out the punishment and withstanding Williams’ onslaught of offense.

Only one man could be the better man last night and that man was Williams, who not only retained his title but has a pin fall victory over the HWA Heavyweight Champion to his credit!

Results – WWC: Unbreakable ’09 – 11/14/09

Posted on November 15, 2009 by

This past Saturday Night the stars of the World Wrestling Coalition celebrated their sixth anniversary with a red hot Aberdeen crowd with “Unbreakable 2009”! It was another big event full of twist and turns and shocks and surprises that high light just why the WWC is at the top of Southern Ohio Wrestling!

The night began with Matt Taylor coming out of nowhere to interrupt ring announcer V.L. Stricklett’s pre-show hype to announce that his opponent for the night Astonishing Aaron Williams would not be making it due to “car trouble”. Taylor went on to say he had a new opponent, some one who would help him show off why he was THE MAIN EVENT in the WWC. That young man turned out to be WWC Camp trainee Jason Legend from Hollywood, CA.

While Legend looked good in the early stages of the match, Taylor quickly dominated the match and picked up a ruthless victory. Taylor continued the assault after the match trying to end the new comer’s short career but that led to ‘The Re-Enforcer” Devlin Anderson to hit the ring to make the save. Anderson grabbed the house microphone and challenged Taylor for a one on one match later in the night.

Lil Hulk Jake Ashworth defeated The Masked Sensation Eclipso in an exciting back and forth match that saw many near falls. After the match Will Profit came to the ring and united the duo as a tag team under his guidance. Will this new trio make their presence felt on December 5 at Winter of Discontent?

Hardcore Heather Owens defeated Mr. Jacko in an inter-gender match.

WWC Tag Team Champions The Penthouse Playboys’ unlikely reign as champions came to an end Saturday night as they lost the belts to the new team of International Incident (Nikita Allanov & Eddie Gonzales). Gonzales and Allanov did a great job of wearing down Jimmy Malloy until it was just Violent Bob Humperdink who stood in the ring facing them. While threatening to hurt Humperdink, Violent Bob decided it would be easier to just give up and thus new champions where crowned.

New North American Champion Superstar Shawn Parks gave out an open challenge for his title and it was answered by newcomer and WWC Camp wrestler Jack Reno. Reno looked very impressive in his singles debut almost winning the title thanks in part to Parks not being 100% from that brutal casket match just two weeks ago. But Parks proved why he is the master of his game and one Whirl-Whirl 3 later he had retained the championship.

Parks was recovering when he was attacked from behind by the man he defeated for the title, Dangerous Damien Kass who demanded a rematch right then and there. Kass and Naughtia continued the assault until WWC Champion JT Stahr hit the ring to throw down the challenge to Kass to meet him in the ring one on one later tonight for the WWC Championship.

In what is being called the Match of the Year, Devlin Anderson faced Matt Taylor in a grueling 20 Minute Draw. Each man are on their way up the ladder in the WWC and have stepped up their in ring game and this match showcased that. Fans you need to buy the Unbreakable DVD when it hit’s the streets if not for anything but to see this match.

And in the main event, JT Stahr proved why his is the king of the hill in the WWC when he defeated Dangerous Damien Kass to retain the championship after a miscommunication between Kass and his manager Naughtia led to Stahr getting the pinfall.

Just when you thought the show was over, Matt Taylor returned to the ring out of nowhere and attacked referee Steve Helpenstine who had put Taylor in his place twice earlier in the show. Taylor’s assault of Helpenstine would have continued if not for Devlin Anderson. Helpenstine is said to be injured and is facing time on the shelf in the WWC. More on this as it develops.

Fans thank you for joining us for Unbreakable 2009 and be sure to be there on December 5, 2009 in Aberdeen, OH for Winter of Discontent !
