Hybrid Wrestling’s All Purpose Update

Posted on November 2, 2009 by V.L. Stricklett

First and foremost, we want to thank everyone who came out to the co-pro experiment that was Double-Edge Sword at the Ghostly Manor in Sandusky, Ohio and especially to the over 500 people who showed up for our debut in Clyde, Ohio at the Clyde Fair. The turn out and response were overwhelming.

Both events featured some unfamiliar names and faces to Hybrid Wrestling. Eric Alverado, Aftermath, and Chris Dickinson looked impressive in their respective matches, but so far only Frightmare and GQ have been invited back and are both confirmed for Theory Of Evolution on Saturday, December 5th.

Speaking of new faces, some outside talent has been contacted by Hybrid Wrestling management. It’s rumored that Theory Of Evolution has been a hot topic of discussion in those conversations. No names have been confirmed or denied at this point. Until we have something concrete we won’t name any names, so feel free to speculate.
However, we are hearing that an established tag team is on the list of those who were contacted . Why is that important? Because another rumor going around is that Hybrid Wrestling is looking to introduce tag team titles in 2010. Hybrid Wrestling has always put an emphasis on tag team wrestling and the crowning of tag team champions might be sooner than we think.

Hybrid Wrestling is honored to be a part of the 2009 Jeff Peterson Memorial Cup. The final decisions are being made on who will represent the company.

Lastly, there have been a lot of changes behind the scenes. This year has been a huge learning process. Some mistakes were made, but we have learned from them. The weak links have been identified and addressed. We have surrounded ourselves with a fantastic supporting cast that is extremely excited about the future of the company.
Thank you for your continued support. The official Theory Of Evolution main event announcement is upon us.
