PWO kicks off its third season in style with a very special edition of Pro Wrestling Ohio TV, as we begin our future with a respectful look at the past. Host Joe Dombrowski sits down with three of the most timeless, beloved wrestling personalities of our time for a special career retrospective.
Sit Down Interview with Brutus “The Barber” Beefcake & Greg “The Hammer” Valentine
In the mid-1980s, Greg “The Hammer” Valentine & Brutus Beefcake joined forces under the tutelage of “Luscious” Johnny V to form The Dream Team. The duo found instant success, capturing the World Tag Team Titles and headline events across North America. Now for the first time in 22 years, The Dream Team appear on television together, and hold nothing back as they discuss their career.
From Beefcake’s early days and life-long friendship with Hulk Hogan, to entering The World Wrestling Federation, to the formation of the team with Valentine. Who did they enjoy wrestling, whom did they hate wrestling? From The US Express to the British Bulldogs to the Killer Bees and more it’s all covered. Beefcake reveals his initial reaction to “The Barber” persona and if they thought The Dream Team was put to rest too soon. Beefcake & Valentine also discuss the WWF’s downfall, WCW, and today’s wrestling scene with some less-than-kind words for some current WWE personalities.
