The DWA locomotive rolled into the station Saturday night at the Price Hill Community Center and the crowd of almost 200 were treated to one gigantic action packed event.

The opening match was a grudge match featuring former Tri-State champion “Grandpa” Gator Henry and the man who attacked him last month in Price Hill, Eddie Gonzales. Gator went for and hit a Gator Splash onto Gonzales in the corner. He went for another one but this time Eddie moved out of the way. Gator crashed and was covered for the pin by Gonzales, who also used his feet on the ropes for leverage. Henry complained to the referee about this and was drilled in the back of the head with a steel chair that had been slipped into the ring by Heather Owens Gonzales. The smack opened up a small cut to the back of his head.

The next match involved “The Showcase” Beauregard Jefferson Davis, as he made quick work of his opponent, Big D. He had help as his manager, Colonel Jonathan James distracted D and pulled him throat first onto the top rope, then Davis rolled him up with a handful of pants for the pin. Big D’s partner, “Bulldog” Dan Hansen, came into the ring to argue about The Colonel’s interference to no avail. He took the mic and lambasted Double J Enterprises for their tactics and the Colonel accepted any challenge they made as DWA Wrestling Czar Dave Robinson made his way out to separate the two teams.

Next up was the bout for the DWA Tag Team championship. Champs Army of Darkness took on the winners from the week before, Modu Zapetta and Princeton Travis. Malice and GhostRider worked over Travis as their manager Natasha Rivers shouted instructions from the outside. Travis was able to tag in Modu who tagged a weary Princeton back in. Malice slipped back into the ring with one of the belts and called for “Rider to throw Travis to him. GhostRider whipped Princeton only to be reversed and caught the full brunt of Malice swinging the belt. Princeton then hit a hurancanrana onto “Rider and covered him for the pin. This made Travis and Zapetta the NEW Dynamic Wrestling Alliance Tag Team champions. After the match, there was some verbal dissension between the former champs and a verbal altercation between Rivers and Robinson.

The next match was a Battle Royal Rules match between The Royal Battler and La Cucaracha del Muerte. This became the quickest match ever in DWA history as Battler disposed of his opponent in 23 SECONDS. Cucaracha was already in ring and as The Royal Battler stepped onto the apron, he used a slingshot to pull the smaller masked man over the top rope for the victory. Thus, the show went into intermission.

Right after intermission, the crowd was given a rough match between “Bulldog” Garf Redman and the “Saturday Night Franchise” Damien Daniels. At one point in the match, Daniels chokeslammed Redman onto the bleachers, sending fans running for cover. After the action re-entered the ring, Daniels went for a double ax-handle off the middle turnbuckle and was caught in mid-air by Garf and quickly given a spine-buster. A three-count later gave Redman the victory.

The semi-main event was for the Tri-State title as new champ Jordan Lachey took on his arch-rival, Bull Newlun, the Canadian Destroyer. This was a back and forth, hard hitting match that saw Lachey avoid a Bullseye from his opponent. This sent Bull into the second turnbuckle. As he came out of the corner, Lachey hit his patented Spin Around Slam and pinned his challenger. While celebrating, Jordan was drilled by a Bullseye. Security intervened and two of them were hit with Body Branders as well as one for Lachey. Bull hit one on a security guard outside the ring after wrestlers piled in from the back to separate the two.

The Main Event was for the DWA Heavyweight championship as Phantom defended the title against “Fighting Irish” Ryan O’Brian. Phantom picked up the win after an enzuguiri and then a German Suplex on his opponent. After the match, Malice entered the ring and the two worked over O’Brian until Phoenix entered the gym to help
out Ryan. This brought out GhostRider to give the advantage to AOD. This was all The Regulator could stand and he left his position at the broadcast table and joined in the fray until peace was restored for the night.

The DWA will return to Price Hill on Saturday August 22nd.
