The Heartland Wrestling Association returned to Springdale, OH last night at Sports of All Sorts for another night of HWA wrestling action!

It was a night that saw a wild main event, several new talents looking to earn a spot on the HWA roster, and two of the HWA’s rising stars come together to upset the HWA Tag Team Champions.

The night started off with “Rookie Sensation” Ryan Campbell and “Relentless” Ron Mathis meeting in what promised to be a scientific opening match between two of the HWA’s fastest rising stars.

Unfortunately the match was spoiled by the reigning HWA Tag Team Champions The Hybrids, who attacked both Mathis and Campbell and forced the referee to call for a no contest.

The Hybrids then grabbed the microphone and protested that they had been taken out of the night’s main event, after a scheduling conflict had prevented The Irish Airborne from appearing. But before they could complain too long, Mathis and Campbell regrouped and ran the champions off issuing a challenge for the two of them to meet them later in a tag team match!

In the second match of the evening, Dylan Bostic made his return to the HWA defeating GT Vega.

Andre Heart made a special appearance at the show, signing his WWE contract in the middle of the ring and once again taking a moment to thank all the fans of the HWA for their support.

Tag team action was up next as the team of Kaden Assad and Ala Hussein defeated Utterly Fabulous.

V-Rad was unable to get his hands on “The Madness” Chris Hall as he had hoped… but HWA hopeful Shank Barzini would get a one way trip to Funky Town that ended when V-Rad hit a picture perfect frog splash from the top to pick up the victory.

HWA newcomer, Aaron Xtreme, picked up his first win in an HWA ring, when he overcame the over confident Hunter Matthews, another man looking to earn a spot on the HWA roster.

With a little assist from Dominique Steele, Ryan Campbell and “Relentless” Ron Mathis upset the HWA Tag Team Champions The Hybrids.

And “Deja Vu” Richard Phillips defeated Tim Donst in a main event that featured a brawl by the merchandise stand, jousting, oversized boxing gloves and all around chaos.
