MPW to Open Official Training Center in August

Have you ever dreamed of being a pro wrestler, manager, valet, or referee? Well, if you have…we have very good news for you! Mad-Pro Wrestling, one of the most innovative feds in Ohio, will be opening their official training center this August in Columbus, OH. But the good news doesn’t stop there, because MPW is bringing in one of the “big guns” in Ohio pro wrestling as their head-trainer.
The head-trainer will be none other then the first ever MPW Champion, and a man who is considered by most to be a “Ohio Wrestling Icon”, The Real Matt Stryker!
Head-trainer Matt Stryker has been wrestling for over 10 years, and was originally trained by Les Thatcher & Tom Pritchard, alongside guys like Dean Malenko, Chris Beniot, Eddie Guerrero, Vall Venis, Arn Anderson, Jamie Knoble, D-Lo Brown, Brian Adams, Bill Demott (Hugh Morrus), & Meng! Stryker came up the ranks along with guys such as Brian Beech, MTV’s Rory Fox, Nigel McGuinness, BJ Whitmer, Dean Jablonski, and has trained/wrestled with almost every person on the current WWE Roster!
Stryker has trained, and helped aid in the training of, such wrestlers as Dave & Jake Crist, Jon Moxley, Portia Perez, and the list goes on!
Not to mention Matt has at one point or another done just about everything there is to do in wrestling (including wrestling in WWE, Ring of Honor, Japan, just to name a few places), as well as promoting/booking promotions, to now running one of the nations top wrestling gear company’s in StrykerWear!
The training facility itself will be located at The Alrosa Villa, 5055 Sinclair Rd., Columbus, Ohio. Some of our Columbus fans will know this place as where all of our Columbus shows have been held, not to mention the numerous music events that have been held at the famous Alrosa Villa over the past 40years! The Alrosa has always been great to us here at Mad-Pro, and when we were trying to find a building to hold such a training center, The Alrosa quickly offered up their services & building for us to use.
