The Josh Prohibition & Johnny Gargano Story – Part 1
Last week on PWO TV, we witnessed a rebellion weeks in the making. After watching his mentor steal his PWO Title opportunity, and hearing countless individuals tell him his allegiances are holding back his career, Johnny Gargano finally stood up to the man he had showed blind faith and loyalty to since the beginning of his career. Gargano’s newfound independence came with a challenge as well – Prohibition vs. Gargano for the PWO Championship, Sunday, August 9 at PWO Wrestlelution 2, a challenge that was quickly accepted. This week, Joe Dombrowski sits down with both Gargano and Prohibition to re-live the duo that have been synonymous with each other since PWO was launched. This week – PWO Year One, as both men tell their side of the story as to how and why the Prohibition & Gargano alliance became the most unstoppable force in all of Pro Wrestling Ohio. It is a raw, emotional, and candid set of interviews, and something that is not to be missed by anyone who has followed the evolution of these two athletes.
Hobo Joe vs. Mickey Gambino w/Marshall Gambino & Agent Aaron Maguire
Two weeks ago, Aaron Maguire used the money he conned Hobo Joe out of to not only pay off his debt to The Gambino Family, but also take them on as his new clients. His first mission… hiring them to screw Jason Bane out of the PWO Championship. His second mission… to shamelessly attack the one friend Aaron had had during his eight months in the poorhouse… Hobo Joe. Furthermore, Aaron had instructed The Gambinos to throw Hobo into a dumpster and light it on fire! Thankfully, Jason Bane was in search of retribution and appeared before anything catastrophic could take place. The gullible loveable Hobo Joe no doubt feels betrayed and hurt, having lost his money and his friend. With nothing left to lose, Hobo has challenged one-half of The Gambinos, “Nice Guy” Mickey, to a one-on-one battle. Will Hobo have enough heart to gain revenge or will Aaron Maguire make him an official victim on his newly-made “hit list”?
TV Title Match Qualifying Match: Omega Aaron Draven vs. Bobby Beverly w/Sex Appeal
PWO is searching for the youngest and hungriest athletes on the Pro Wrestling Ohio roster to compete to become PWO’s very first Television champion August 9 at Wrestlelution 2. The winner of this contest becomes the first to officially qualify. Draven has been a risk taker and thrill seeker, but is suffering from badly injured ribs and a back injury, thanks to Mike Tolar’s attack two weeks ago. Beverly has seemed to hit a career-high confidence level, abandoning his friends and fans for the narcissistic and provocative company of Dawn Decadence and Bobby Shields in Sex Appeal. Will Beverly be able to thrust himself into the TV Title picture or can Omega overcome the pain and begin his road to Wrestlelution?
The Return of “Amazing” N8 Mattson
The 12-year veteran and Michigan elitist N8 Mattson hasn’t been seen in PWO in a couple of months due to an ankle injury, however in his absence his newest protégé “Big Bear” Ben Boone has continued to carry on his cause. Mattson returns to television this week, no doubt with some harsh words to the fans and viewers in Ohio. But will PWO management have a way to silence him?
The Clash vs. EJ Georgio & Ben Fruith
One week ago, The Clash’s alleged destiny was altered when Ballz & Bender lost their opportunity to be PWO Tag Team Champions to – of all people – Greg “The Hammer” Valentine & Jim “The Anvil” Neidhart. Now, with The Hammer & The Anvil on their own road to Wrestlelution, The Clash hope to regroup and establish themselves as the top contending team heading into August 9. Can The Clash impress against Mike Tolar’s manipulated lackeys?
Plus: Hailey Hatred discusses last week’s sneak-attack from Eric Ryan & Corey Winters, and Pirate Justice prepare for a potentially career-making battle!
