The show opened with the returning Avalanche picking up a win in triple threat match against Tarek the Legend & the also returning Damien Daniels. The majority of this match was moreso a 2 on 1 vs. Avalanche with Tarek seeming more interested in hurting others than gaining victories. However, as the action spilled to the outside, Tarek and Daniels wound up getting into it with each other and in the end Avalanche was able to use the powers that he gained after a horrible accident in a science lab many years ago to gain the pinfall.

The Notorious N.I.C. was interviewed about her upcoming street fight at the anniversary show vs. Heather Owens. “Actions speak louder than words and something something kick a bitch in the face”. Prophetic perhaps.

Tournament finals to determine the first ever Intense Champion: The Big Kahuna defeated “Bulldog” Garf Redman to win the belt. DDK & Naughtia found their way to ringside during this one to cheer on the Bulldog despite his repeated insistance that he didn’t want or need their help. DDK decided that if his help wasn’t wanted he wouldn’t give it and as Redman came running off the ropes towards Kahuna, DDK tripped him up. As the Bulldog confronted DDK, Big Kahuna took advantage of the situation and was able to hit Redman with a devastating Kahuna Slam to win the match and the championship.

The XCW Tag Titles were on the line in the next match as champions Dew Moore retained the belts against the Ruffen Boyz. Moore’s neck still seems to be giving him trouble after the horrendous beating given to him by the Soul Shooters last month. Never the less, Dew Moore’s teamwork and the near complete lack of by the Ruffenz enabled the champs to hold on to the gold. Throughout the match, Showboat was reluctant to tag in and usually tagged right back out seconds later when he did get involved. After the match, Flapjack confronted him about his actions and the pair finally came to blows and appear to have went their seperate ways.

The self proclaimed REAL XCW Champion “Bad Attitude” Brian Beech defeated Dave Nevada in what Beech claimed was a non-title match.

In the main event, XCW Champion Jason Cross successfully defended his championship against one half of the Soul Shooters, Dru “THE Don” Johnson in a very hard hitting matchup. Afterwards, Brian Beech hit the ring and attacked Cross. Chaos ensued and when the smoke cleared a match was signed for the one year anniversary show on June 20 pitting Brian Beech vs. Jason Cross with the XCW Championship belt suspended high above the ring as they face off in a ladder match.
