The Dynamic Wrestling Alliance made their latest stop at the Laurel Community Center, here in the Hoosier State. They gave the fans six great matches plus a few surprises and another Lifetime Achievement Award ceremony.

Right after the National Anthem was sung, the injured Regulator made an appearance for the crowd. It was four weeks ago, he fell victim to a ladder in the Deal or No Deal Match. As he spoke, members of the locker room made their way out to pay respect to their fallen fellow competitor. Though the Colonel was conspicuous by his absence, the crowd would find out later.

The first match of the evening matched “The Showcase” Beauregard Davis and “Fighting Irish” Ryan
O’Brian. This match went surprisingly long and did not involve the usual interfering from The Colonel. The only involvement from him was an instance when he tossed O’Brian back into the ring. The match went back and forth until Davis caught Ryan in his Airplane Spin-Neckbreaker combination for the win.

The second match saw The Colonel facing Tri-State champion “Grandpa” Gator Henry for the title. James held the upper hand throughout much of the match. After a double clothesline dropped both wrestlers to the ground, A headshot with the belt to Henry left him prone to a Colonel splash. A huge mistake by the Colonel, pulling Gator up at the two-count, eventually did him in. He was distracted once again by Jess Harley and was rolled up by Henry, topping off a successful title defense by Gator. After James rolled out of the ring, Harley poked fun at the Colonel to the crowd. She left and he climbed back into the ring. He verbally berated her and then turned his focus to The Regulator. He said that he had looked up to the Regulator, saying he was one of the toughest there was in the DWA but had now went soft. This brought Regulator from the back and into the ring. Jonathan said that he was soft again, “just like everyone else from the United States North, otherwise known as Canada. Or rather Cana-duh.” Regulator shoved him twice, begging Colonel to hit him. James grabbed him and swung, only to have Davis grab his arm. A shocked Colonel left the ring saying “This isn’t over” and berating Davis for stopping him.

Next up was for the Tag Team championships as Army of Darkness (led by Natasha Rivers) defended the belts against Princeton Travis and “High Flying” Orlando Savage. This match had
a lot of action, but it took the distracting Rivers to give her team the win. She turned Travis’ attention enough to allow Malice to hit a reverse neckbreaker and cover him for the win. Afterwards, all three members of AOD attacked Travis and Savage. Suddenly, there appeared to be some distention between Princeton and Orlando.

During intermission, hotline maven, The Boss, was presented with a DWA Lifetime Achievement Award.

After the action had resumed, The Royal Battler defeated “Bulldog” Dan Hansen using a low-bridge in a Battle Royal Rules Match.

The fifth match saw a rematch between Jordan Lachey and “Canadian Destroyer” Bull Newlun. This match saw some weird going-ons with The Regulator. Newlun had brought a chair into the ring and had placed Lachey’s head through it and around his neck. Just as Bull was about to stomp on it, Regulator stopped him. A confused Newlun was then rolled up by Jordan, but kicked out at two. He reversed an Irish Whip and hit Lachey with his trademarked Bullseye and pinned him. He then set Jordan up for another one and hit it. The Regulator rolled Lachey out of the ring and then slapped Newlun three times and sent him to the back.

The Main Event pitted Heavyweight champ The Phantom (w/Natasha Rivers) and Tyson Judge. This match was filled with distractions as Malice climbed onto the apron bringing Judge to him. As Tyson turned around, Phantom clocked him with the title, earning a DQ loss. Malice got into the ring and they attacked Tyson until Princeton and Orlando came out to make the save. Only, Travis bumped Judge and this made Tyson go off on him. Savage joined in and left Princeton laying in the ring. It appeared as if Savage and Judge had formed a new team. As they double-teamed him, a tall man emerged from the audience to come to Travis’ rescue. Orlando and Tyson split, not wanting anything to do with the tall stranger.

It was announced that the DWA would be back on Saturday, July 11, 2009 at 7:00 PM and one match signed was the new team of Orlando Savage and Tyson Judge taking on Princeton Travis and this newcomer. More will be reported as it develops.
