Results – HWA at The Sorg Opera House – 5/27/09

The Heartland Wrestling Association’s weekly tradition continued last night at The Sorg Opera House in Middletown. Here’s what went down…
Prior to the show suspended referee Danny O’Brien walked through the crowd with a petition to reinstate him as an HWA official.
The opening match featured an intense “Deja Vu” Richard Phillips, with the dog collar and chain he and Jon Moxley will be wearing this Saturday in Peoria, defeating HWA newcomer Dameon Daniels. A fired up Vu had words of warning for Jon Moxley after the match.
“The Gangsta of Love” Andre Heart did battle with one half of Utterly Fabulous, Sid Fabulous in the second match of the evening. Kid Fabulous was in Sid’s corner but it was not enough to overcome Andre’s experience edge, as the self-proclaimed king continued his hot streak.
Just a week after recapturing the HWA Cruiserweight Championship “Astonishing” Aaron Williams put the title on the line against the man who last week found himself knocked out of the match to determine a new champion and opening the spot for Williams to take after Lutz was assaulted by Jon Moxley.
Both men showed each other a great deal of respect through out the match and as expected this one was a sportsmanlike contest. Lutz gave Aaron a run for his money, but it was “The Astonishing One” who would come out on top with a successful title defense.
“Relentless” Ron Mathis went head to head with “The Most Dangerous Man in the HWA” Jon Moxley.
Mathis was impressive as he hung in there with Moxley, not allowing the Moxley reputation to psyche him out.
But Moxley would hold back the challenge of Mathis and reign supreme. After the match Deja Vu got in the ring and the two rivals got nose to nose but before Vu could get a piece of him, Moxley exited the ring saving their fight for this Saturday Night in Peoria.
And in the main event, The Irish Airborne would make a rare tag team appearance in the HWA as they were set to challenge Brock Guffman’s combination of JT Stahr and V-Rad.
Prior to the match Guffman announced that JT Stahr refused to wrestle in Middletown this week and while he believe V-Rad could handle both Crist Brothers on his own, HWA officials forced him to find V-Rad a tag team partner and he did…
“The Gangsta of Love” Andre Heart looking for more action, and a pay check from Brock Guffman, made his way back out to the ring proclaiming he’d have V-Rad’s back and did not hold any ill will towards V-Rad after V-Rad pinned Heart last week in the Four Way Elimination Match to crown a new HWA Cruiserweight Champion.
Like almost everything that comes out of Andre’s mouth these days, that proved to be a lie as “The Gangsta of Love” let V-Rad fend for himself more often than not, even going so far as to abandon V-Rad as The Irish Airborne hit the devastating Irish Car Bomb to pick up the main event win.

Intense Championship Tournament Semi-Finals Match: Big Kahuna d. “Shooting Star” Matt Taylor with the Kahuna slam to advance to the finals on June 6. Taylor’s manager Violent Bob Humperdink interfered constantly in the early goings of this one until new referee Ken Refferson kicked him out of the ringside area bc Ken don’t take no shit from nobody. ya heard?
Tourn Semi-Finals: Bulldog Garf Redman d. TBA to advance to the finals of the tournament on June 6. Redman seemed to be in an especially pissed off mood on this night and took it all out on TBA. Sucks to be him.
Joeberg interviewed Brian Beech who, despite losing the XCW Championship to Jason Cross just minutes after winning it, still has possession of the physical belt. Beech took great exception to being referred to as the former champion and was quick to have his goon Tarek the Legend get the announcer out of the ring. Beech then went on a tangent about being the greatest champion XCW has ever seen and things of that nature. Everyone seemed cool with Beech proclaiming himself champion as nobody really had anything to say about it. If only the referees’ example had shone through to the rest of the locker room and/or the higher ups in XCW.
XCW Tag Titles: Champions Dew Moore d. The Soul Shooters to hang on to the belts. The champs pretty much got their asses handed to em in this one but the challengers seemed to be more interested in physical punishment than championship gold. In the end, that was their undoing as Dewey Brown was able to roll up Q Skillz to retain the titles. Bruce Magurn, trainer to the stars and manager of the Soul Shooters, protested to the referee that his man’s feet were in the ropes at the time of the pin and thus it shouldn’t count but Ken Refferson’s example in the first match proved to be an inspiration to the entire XCW officiating staff who weren’t takin no shit from nobody. Ya heard?
Steve Blainard def. DDK & Nikita Allanov in a triple threat match
The Notorious N.I.C. & Kara Kildare d. Hardcore Heather Owens & her mystery partner which was revealed to be Super Oprah. Speculation has and continues to run rampant that Super Oprah may not be quite what she presents herself as being but as of yet nobody has dared attempting to get to the…bottom of things, so to speak. Anyway, this was a hard fout contest with all 4 women participants giving it all they had. The end came when the NIC & Kara hit Oprah with a double team hip toss to pick up the win. After the match, the NIC & Heather got into it once more and ended up fighting to the back. It was then announced that at our 1 year anniversary show on June 20, those 2 will face each other in a street fight.
In the main event, Tarek the Legend def. XCW Champion Jason Cross in a non-title match. This was originally scheduled to be a title match, however, Tarek recognizes Brian Beech as champion not Jason Cross. Therefore, Tarek refused to accept the match as being for the XCW Championship. One would have to wonder if he is now perhaps rethinking that decision after pinning Cross with a rollup and using the ropes for leverage.
XCW returns to action on Saturday June 6 with the finals of the Intense Championship tournament. The Big Kahuna faces “The Bulldog” Garf Redman to determine the first man to hold this prestigious new title. Stay tuned to the myspace for more matches as they are announced. Pre-sale tickets are available for $5 by sending us a message with your name and how many you wish to purchase.
Results – RCW: Online Aggression – 5/16/09

The night began with RCW WWWWWWorld Famous Kenny Young bringing out the special DVD commentators RangerBob and Tank Runyon. The Mastermind soon cut Young off as he said he wanted to make sure Kenny kept the results for Online Aggression legit.
The first vote for the night was to see who RCW newcomer “Genuine” Jock Samson would face. The fans chose Chad Cruise which ended up being a great choice as the two had an exciting match that went to the outside fairly quick. Samson was able to ground the quick Cruise and keep him on his back but Cruise was able to catch Samson by surprise and rolling him up for the win.
Since Cruise was chosen to partake in the first match the other wrestlers in the poll (Keith Hamblin, Nikki Tyler, and El Nino) were required to wrestle in a 3-way. El Nino appeared to be inhebriated once again so Tyler and Hamblin went after one another for the most part. In the end Tyler had Hamblin rocked but El Nino helped Hamblin put Tyler away for Hamblin’s win. Afterwards, El Nino unmasked to reveal a new face to RCW. His name is Heavy Metal. He stated that he tried to get on the card but was told by RCW officials that there was not room for him. Heavy Metal said he makes his own room and with help from Keith they took out El Nino. They then proceeded to beat Tyler down until Tyler former Rated X partner, Flash Fury came to the ring. RCW Commissioner, The Mastermind made a match for Portsmouth on June 13th. Rated X vs Heavy Metal & Keith Hamblin. No word on the actual El Nino at this time.
It was time to choose what team (Excalibur, Da Rydas, Rated X) would be reuniting to face the RCW World Tagteam Champions, IOU (Ace Gigolo & Onyx). Mastermind brought a familiar face out to read the results for his team’s matchup. Board of Director member, Dude Rock accompanied by his wife Sharon. Sharon apparently went to Piketon High School. Dude put the school and town down as Sharon took exception. Dude said that Excalibur had won. Mastermind looked ecstatic as Dirk and Randy do not get along. Sharon grabbed the results and revealed that the real winners were Da Rydas (JD Santos, Trik Nasty, Juggulator)! Trik Nasty & The Juggulator decided to team up as JD was currently leading in the North American Title match.
Da Rydas and IOU battled to a Double Disqualification. The match was a brutal back and forth battle. In the end Trik Nasty, Juggulator, and JD Santos got retribution for what IOU and The Mastermind did to Judas Thorn back in March. They took Ace Gigolo and performed the exact chairshot across the throat that put Judas out. Onyx had to carry Ace to the back and we have learned that the Tagteam Champion will be out on the shelf for an undisclosed amount of time. One has to wonder what The Mastermind will have up his sleeve to retaliate with.
The RCW North American Championship was to be determined in a first ever “Hammer-on-a-Pole” Match. A hammer hung from atop a pole in the corner of the ring. You could legally use the hammer if you could get it. The fans chose a 3-way matchup pitting Champion Vance Desmond against Flash Fury and JD Santos. The fans nailed this match as it already screams match of the year. We cannot describe the action in the this bout as it’s something that will have to be seen to be believed. Desmond ended up using another hammer that was passed to him via his manager “Exotic E” and came away STILL RCW North American Champion. Flash and JD put in one heck of a match though.
The last two matches were announced. “American Idol
” Dirk Extreme would be facing Tyson Rogers with Tank Runyon as special guest referee. Tank and Dirk had words about Tank being fair when Exotic E came out and announced that Tyson Rogers is now the newest member of E’s illustrious stable. Dirk and E had words when Tyson Rogers jumped Dirk from behind and took out the champ’s leg. Runyon let the beating go on for a moment but then stepped in. The match would happen but not until after Randy “The King” Allen would battle “Livewire” Chris Smith in a match picked by the fans in a LANDSLIDE as LOSER WEARS A DRESS!
No love lost between Allen and Smith as this feud has escalated since the beginning of 2009. Both men know each other so well and it showed. Chris Smith pinned Randy Allen. Allen was instructed to put on the dress but refused and tried to leave. Kenny Young tossed him back into the ring and Smith wrapped him up in a sleeper. Young and Smith put the dress on Allen and even applied makeup for a moment that will not soon be forgotten by anyone….especially “The King”.
“American Idol” Dirk Extreme battled Tyson Rogers for a few minutes and then while giving Extreme a spinebuster, Rogers knee blew out. Rogers was unable to continue and was helped to the back. Being a fighting champion, Dirk took on another challenger from the back..”The Black Superman” Onyx. Onyx tossed Extreme around but was caught off guard when he got rolled up attempting a knee allowing Extreme to walk away with a win and still intact with he RCW World Heavyweight Championship.
Results – WWC: Temperatures Rising – 5/23/09

The World Wrestling Coalition once again entertained fans this past Saturday Night when they returned to the Hillsboro area at the Highland County Fairgrounds. And true to its names Temperatures did rise and many WWC wrestlers came to a boiling point this past Saturday, here is a look at what happened.
WWC President Patrick Black and his hired gun, Nikita Allanov came to the ring to address the Hillsboro crowd. It didn’t take long before the crowd turned against the President though and booed him nearly out of the building. Black stated that he came to Hillsboro and changed the card around to fit his vision of WWC and announced that Aaron Williams, JT Stahr and Matt Taylor (the three thorns in his Administration’s side) wouldn’t be in action tonight.
New thorns appeared however, more on that later. The first match of the night featured the Hired Gun “Soviet Shooter” Nikita Allanov taking on the return of the “Inhuman Rampage” Tommy Chill in singles action. What transpired was a brutal contest between the two big men. While Chill looked impressive in his return, he couldn’t over come the Administration’s momentum and Nikita pulled of his first WWC victory.
Up next we saw two of the youngest WWC wrestlers lock up as the Masked Sensation Eclipso and always popular Lil Hulk Jake Ashoworth went one on one. Last time these two met, Lil Hulk picked up with W with a 2nd rope leg drop. Ashworth tried to put Eclipso away with that a second time but it seems the man from the dark side of the moon had learnt his mistake and countered picking up another victory. Little did the crowd know that Lil Hulk wasn’t done for the night.
Will Profit came to the ring for an interview and explained his reasoning for agreeing to the six man tag on June 13th. He delivered a heart felt speech pointing out just how much Superstar Shawn Parks and Ric Byrne meant to the WWC and vice versa. And he stated that on June 13th, they’ll end this war with the Playboys then go on to capture the Tag Team titles.
Speaking of Tag Team Championship, the champions Devlin Anderson & Dave Nevada were in action next as they took on the team of the returning Flash Fury & Randy “The King” Allen. In a match that some say stole the show this past Saturday, the tag champions edged out the new team of Fury & Allen to walk out of the Fairgrounds still champions!
Following intermission WWC President Patrick Black returned to the ring to call out former President and the man he has had problems with since February of this year, Jeremiah L. Young. Black said that Jeremiah would be the first member of the “Kiss My Foot” club, but Young refused. Nikita Allanov was there and he forced Young to kiss Black’s shoe. After embarrassing Young, Nikita began to attack Young, causing Lil Hulk to return to the ring and drive the Soviet Shooter off with a chair. Young got on the microphone and challenged Nikita to return to face Ashworth later tonight.
The Mixed Tag Match was supposed to be next, but after Ric Byrne & Kara Kildare (w/Will Profit) came to the ring, Violent Bob Hampering and “Pretty Boy” Jimmy Malloy came out without either Hardcore Heather Owens and Kyri Ward, explaining they had no tag partner. Malloy refused to participate alone in the match because he refused to hit a woman. This lead Dave Anderson to the ring who gladly said he’d hit a woman. The match was on!
The match would quickly get out of control with both Will Profit and VB Humperdink getting involved and getting slapped in submission holds by their respective opposing teams. However it would come down to Kildare and Anderson, and Kildare proved to be too much woman and put Anderson away to win the match.
After the match to the jeers of the fans WWC President Patrick Black returned to the ring and offered long time nemesis Kara Kildare a spot on the Administration. Kildare refused leaving Black on his backside. While Nikita Allanov came to check on his boss, Lil Hulk and Jeremiah L. Young returned to ringside.
The match was a hot one with the crowd 100% behind Lil Hulk, but Patrick Black kept using underhanded tactics leaving Ashworth to stoop to their level, and delivering a kick to Allanov’s groin. Referee Steve Helpenstine had to call for the DQ, but Ashworth and Young sent Allanov and Black racing to the back and the crowd gave the real American Lil Hulk Jake Ashworth a standing ovation. It seems that The Administration has another enemy in the roster to deal with.
We’d like to thank the Highland County fans for coming out. And our sponsors Stephano’s Pizza. Our next show is a FREE SHOW, June 7 at the 2pm in afternoon at the West Union Street Fair. We’ll be back in Aberdeen, OH for our show NO Escape (Cody Hawk vs. Aaron Williams inside a Steel Cage) on June 13th at 7pm. Tickets for that are $10 at door, $8 presale (presale can be picked up at Active Care Chiropractic in Maysville, KY).

The show started off with The Crew (Mrs. MacKenzie, Trik Nasty, & Dustin Rayz) coming to the ring to announce that Vance Desmond couldn’t be there, they then suggested that the tag titles not be defended & the steel cage match become a 2-1 Handicap…at this suggestion ‘Director of Operations’ Josh Hayes come out, but not alone; he brought The Murder Junkies & Matt Taylor to back him up! Hayes informed Moxley’s Crew that the Steel Cage Match was still on as announced (Nasty vs. Taylor), and that their tag team contract stated ANYBODY in The Crew could defend the titles, so if they didn’t have another member that Mrs. MacKenzie would have to wrestle in the match!!
Aaron Williams defeated Zac Vincent, Andre Heart, & Mike Dodge
Mike Dodge was eliminated first by Andre Heart, Andre Heart was eliminated by Aaron Williams, then Aaron Williams was able to get the pinfall on Vincent after an impressive side kick to to his temple followed by a german suplex.
Deja Vu defeated Jake Omen
Vu was able to catch Omen after an attempted crossbody, then Vu delivered a fishermans firecarry to get the pinfall.
Black & Blue Crew defeated Hi-Def Supernovas
Cyrus Poe drilled Robbie Starr with a steel chain while the ref was checking on Matt Mason to help Tommy Chill get the pinfall on Starr.
RoH Superstar Delirious defeated MPW “Diva” Super Oprah
In what was by far the strangest match of the night, and possibly in MPW History, Delirious’ skills proved to be slightly better then Super Oprah’s on this night as he was able to get the pinfall after hitting ‘Shadows Over Hell’.
Matt Taylor defeated Trik Nasty inside the Steel Cage
Both of these guys gave it thier all, with MacKenzie & Rayz on the outside Nasty had nobody to help him and Taylor was able to take advantage of this. Both Taylor & Nasty almost had the match won at several times threwout, just when it looked like Taylor was going to walk out of the door to win Dustin Rayz attempted to stop him, but Taylor able to kick Rayz to the floor. Taylor again tried to go out threw the door when Carlton Kaz returned to MPW & slammed the door in Taylor’s face as he has aparently joined The Crew. This brought out The Murder Junkies who began brawling with Kaz/Rayz on the floor while Mrs. MacKenzie was able to start pulling Nasty towards the doorway when out of nowhere Taylor climbed to the top of the cage & dove onto everybody outside to win the match & keep his #1 Contendership to Jon Moxley’s Heavyweight Title!
“Freebird” Brian Cross defeated Andy ‘Right Leg’ Ridge
Ridge (one of RoH’s Top Students) made one hell of a debut for MPW as he gave it his all and almost got the victory, however in the end Cross’ experience proved to be too much as he was able to duck Ridge’s superkick and hit a diamond cutter to get the victory!
Kaden Assad (c) defeated Joey Vengeance in a Madhouse Brawl
JD Santo’s was announced to not be in the building, so a ’10 count’ began as if JD didn’t answer the count Assad would be awarded the win…before the ref got to even 7, Joey Vengeance came out and said since JD wasn’t there he wanted a shot at Assad and the MX Title!! Vengeance took it to Assad most of the match as these two brawled all over the building…both men tried to use a table,
The Murder Junkies defeated The Crew (c) to become the new MPW Tag-Team Champions
The Murder Junkies controlled most of this match as they used their overwhelming power to beat down Dustin Rayz & Carlton Kaz. In the end Juggulator & Hane were able to hit thier double-team finisher and get the pin to become the NEW MPW Tag-Team Champions!!
Nick “Eugene” Dinsmore defeated “Big Guns” Jeff Cannon
At the end of the tag match, Nick ‘Eugene’ Dinsmore decided to come out & celebrate with The Murder Junkies…this upset The Crew & lead to Jeff Cannon coming out & starting the match right then! In the end every member of The Crew tried attacking Dinsmore, including Mrs. MacKenzie, but Dinsmore was able to overcome them and hit a serious of moves on Cannon to get the pinfall!
