Results – NWF at BoneKrushers – 4/11/09
Posted on April 14, 2009 by Kirk Sheppard
The Northern Wrestling Federation returned to BoneKrushers this past Saturday night…and what a night of action, both inside and outside the building, it was…
Before the doors opened, Sin D met Jesse Hyde in the parking lot saying she wanted to talk to him. From behind, Roger Ruffen assaulted Jesse, throwing him into a car window and the side of the building before dragging him inside to the front office and continuing the beatdown – all in retaliation to the embarrassing incident in Harrison where Ruffen had nachos smeared across his face.
Ice defeated The Zodiac (with Jac Attack).
Tri-State Champion Austin Meddler talked about how he would defeat Stewie Backlund later today and Jay Donaldson next Saturday at Shimmers.
Pompano Joe defeated Malpractice.
Unified Champion Christopher Michael Lotus defeated Roger Ruffen by DQ when Sin D got involved.
The Genuine Superstar hosted an edition of the Spotlight where he introduced his guest, “Wildcat” Chris Harris – whom Bryant knew full well wasn’t in the building. He reiterated his challenge to Wildcat about Shimmers next Saturday and called Harris a coward. Harris had an interview on NWF AfterShock where he accepted the challenge and that match has been signed for this Saturday at Shimmers.
Sean “Virus” Harddrive defeated The Warlock.
Jay Donaldson & Muldoon defeated Jeremy “I’m Your Hero” Hyde & The Genuine Superstar Anthony Bryant when Muldoon chokeslammed the Hero.
Tri-State Champion Austin Meddler defeated Stewie Backlund with his feet on the ropes. After the match, Backlund caught Meddler in the Chickenwing.
Matches Announced For PWO’s 4/18/09 Event
Posted on April 13, 2009 by V.L. Stricklett
PWO returns to LIVE action on Saturday night, April 18 as Pro Wrestling Ohio presents “Rise Up” emanating from Our Lady of Mt. Carmel, 6928 Detroit Rd. Cleveland, Ohio 44102. Doors open at 7:00 for a 7:30 belltime. Pro Wrestling Ohio continues to strive to help and reach out to our local communities, as a portion of proceeds will benefit the Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Youth Ministry. It’s your chance to “Support Our Youth On A Positive Mission” and to support your favorite stars and personalities of Pro Wrestling Ohio. Tickets are available NOW in the NEW and IMPROVED PWOWrestling.com online store! For a LIMITED TIME ONLY, all tickets for this event are 25% off. Offer extended for a limited time only!
For the first time anywhere, we can officially confirm the following matches as taking place live on April 18!
PWO Championship: “M-Dogg 20” Matt Cross defends against Johnny Gargano
It’s been a long road to this championship match for Gargano, who has battled through a legitimate back injury, and then a fictitious back injury resulting in a faux “retirement”, all revealed to be a swerve concocted by Gargano & Josh Prohibition to get into the PWO Champion’s head. Gargano was punished in the form of being stripped of the #1 Contendership, only to recapture it in a 3-Way match in the month of March. M-Dogg has valiantly and courageously defended the PWO Title since becoming Pro Wrestling Ohio’s first ever champion in August, but for the first time in Cross’ reign, this title match is personal. With the looming threat of Gargano, and the ever-present arch-rival Josh Prohibition no doubt not far away, can Matt Cross emerge from this match still PWO Champion? Or can the cocky immature man long said to be the future of the region rise up and capture the PWO Championship?
#1 Contender Match: Jason Bane vs. Mike Tolar
After the sneaky and conniving way Johnny Gargano captured the #1 Contendership, PWO management could not possibly deny the other two challenges involved – Jason Bane and Mike Tolar – another opportunity to prove themselves. They will meet once again, with the winner of the bout slated to meet the winner of M-Dogg 20 vs. Johnny Gargano, and PWO’s NEXT live event slated for Saturday, June 6. Jason Bane has been screwed TWICE out of the PWO Championship by Josh Prohibition, as part of Josh’s jealous rage over being out of the PWO Title picture that has been building for a number of months. Mike Tolar has been on a meteoric rise ever since coming out on top following his rivalry with Greg “The Hammer” Valentine. Perhaps PWO’s two most physically impressive specimens will meet one-on-one with the winner challenging for gold LIVE on June 6.
Josh Prohibition vs. Gregory Iron
Josh Prohibition was reportedly irate when he was told about this match-up, stating he deserves to be competing for the PWO Championship and not against a “crippled freak”. Josh must surely take pride in seeing his long-time ally Johnny Gargano challenging for the title he has so desperately craved. However, Josh can’t overlook PWO’s cerebral palsy sufferer, as Gregory Iron has defeated several unsuspecting opponents in the past. Iron has had recent difficulties with “DeeeLicious” Jimmy DeMarco, but has to be totally focused on what could end up as the biggest win of this young man’s inspirational career. Will Josh successfully use Greg to send a violent message to PWO management or can Greg Iron leapfrog Prohibition in PWO Title contention?
Update on Hobo Joe & Aaron Maguire
Last month, Hobo Joe discovered a discarded scratch-off lottery ticket near his “home”. Upon scratching it, the dumpster dweller found he’d won $25,000, much to the dismay of “house”-mate Aaron Maguire, who was given the ticket by a frightened passerby, only to discard it when he found it wasn’t cash money. Maguire is in desperate need of paying off his gambling debts to Marshall “The Bull” Gambino, or he risks “sleeping with the fishes”. How will Hobo Joe adjust to this new lifestyle? And how will Aaron Maguire deal with this predicament?
PLUS: “DeeeLicious” Jimmy DeMarco, Virus, Super Hentai, Marion Fontaine & Noj The Wild Samoan, “Bloody” Morty Rackem & Matthew Justice, Dawn Decadence, and a whole host of others, plus bonus matches from PWO’s affiliate WASP!
And Marshall “The Bull” Gambino, despite not being a part of the PWO roster, has promised to appear, and has also stated he’s bringing back-up!
All this and so much more April 18, don’t wait to hear about it later or see it on television, be a part of it live! And check back in the coming days for more match announcements!
OHW – Logan, OH

Ohio Hatchet Wrestling returns to Logan, OH at 8:00 PM on Saturday May 23, 2009 when they present Collision Course ’09 at the Chieftain Elementary School.
Collision Course 2009 will be historical in many ways for the fans of Ohio Hatchet Wrestling. May 23rd, 2009 will see the crowning of the first ever Ohio Hatchet Champion. C.O. Hustler has been very vocal about his desire to be the first Ohio Hatchet Champion as witnessed at New Blood after he beat down “The Rockstar” Jerry Bishop in the middle of the ring. After delivering multiple punchwounds to Bishop, the remaining members of The Angry Blackmen, Jabari and “Dangerous” Damien Kass joined C.O. Hustler in the ring as Hustler expressed his hatred for the fans of OHW while the group of men further beat “The Rockstar”, possibly ending his career. At Collision Course, Onyx steps into the ring to challenge C.O. Hustler for the right to become the first Ohio Hatchet Champion.
The finals for the vacant Tag Team Championship titles will see The Murder Junkies; Juggulator and Sam Hane take on Faith In Nothing; Christian Faith and Vincent Nothing. Results – Good Times, Great Memories – 4/11/09
Posted on April 13, 2009 by V.L. Stricklett
Absolute Intense Wrestling returned to Cleveland, OH this past weekend when they presented “Good Times, Great Memories” on 4/11/09. If you weren’t there, here’s what you missed…
Benny Boone submitted Jefferson Saint with a bearhug
Colt Cabana came out to celebrate “Ultimate Guy’s Night Out” and Southside St Clair came out with a box of wine and tried to celebrate with him. After Colt was laughing at him for a while, Josh Prohibition attacked Colt and was quickly sent packing by “Boom Boom”
Flip Kendrick/Louis Lyndon beat Brian Skyline/Dubleve
The Cash Bar with Jack Of Love ended quickly as Jack Verville said “Jack Of Love” is in the past and he’s looking to better his win/loss record. He made an open challenge and it was answered by Marion Fontaine. Fontaine won.
Da Latin Crime Syndicate came out to burn the American flag, The Homeless Handicap Connection’s music played and nobody came out. Real American played and Hobo Joe and Greg Iron came out both dressed as Hulk Hogan and saved the flag and ended up big booting and leg dropping Joey The Snake.
In the Dream Partner tag, Johnny Gargano picked Facade, while Shiima Xion also picked Facade, and Facade attacked Gargano. They beat him down until Jason Gory made the save. Gory/Gargano VS. Xion/Facade took place and Facade won by pinning Gargano. After the match they kept beating on him and Facade tagged Gargano “NWO Style” and said the Intense Belt is his at Absolution 4.
Hailey Hatred VS. “The Passion” John Thorne went to a no contest when Thorne was handcuffed and legit KO’ed by a brutal chair shot from Hailey. Brutal match including a top rope double stomp from Thorne onto Hatred.
Jimmy Demarco beat Nick Belushi to retain his shot against Drake Younger at Absolution. During the course of the match, Nick gave Jimmy a brutal belly to bell on the floor, over the guardrail and onto fans and chairs.
The Young Studs retained their AIW Tag Titles in a handicap match against Christian Faith when they got DQed for hitting the ref.
Josh Prohbition beat Colt “Boom Boom” Cabana
CWE – Austintown, OH
Posted on April 13, 2009 by V.L. Stricklett
Championship Wrestling Experience presents Path of Destruction II : Canadian Destroyers live Friday, May 1st, 2009 at The Wedge Nightclub at 1743 South Raccoon Road in Austintown, Ohio 44515. Doors open at 6:30pm and the official bell time for the nights festivities will begin at 7:30pm. Tickets are available in advance at all Havana House locations for $10, or available at the door day of the show for $12. This event will be the fallout from March Madness, which saw the conniving Patrick Hayes realize his 2 plus year quest to become the CWE Undisputed Champion, via a pinfall victory over then champion, Shiima Xion! Now onto the card for the show:
FORMER TNA SUPERSTAR PETEY WILLIAMS MAKES HIS CWE DEBUT!
Petey Williams brings a long list of accomplishments with him in his debut with the CWE. Petey is one of the best wrestlers around today. He has held numerous TNA X-Division Titles, as well as having one of the most devastating finishing maneuvers in the history of professional wrestling in the Canadian Destroyer. Williams has made his mark in every company he has ever been a part of, and plans to do the same when he comes to Championship Wrestling Experience. Who will Petey be facing in his debut match in the CWE? Officials have been putting their heads together since they got word of the contract being signed, thinking about who would be the most deserving roster member to get in the ring with the world traveled superstar. After a lengthy decision process, CWE officials are proud to announce that when Petey Williams makes his CWE debut, it will be against none other than The Suburban Terrorist Michael Façade! Façade has been a dedicated member of the company since March of 2007, and has as of late been compiling a list of great performances and victories, including his Battle Lines 2009 Battle Royal win, that have earned him the right to be the first opponent for Petey in CWE.
NEWLY CROWNED UNDISPUTED CHAMPION PATRICK HAYES MAKES HIS FIRST DEFENSE AGAINST THE BOUNCER!
Patrick Hayes achieved his ultimate realization on March 27th when he defeated Shiima Xion for the CWE Undisputed Title at March Madness. Hayes had assumed since it was such a hard fought match, CWE match makers would give him the month off to allow him to recover. This is not the case. With all of the crunching of numbers and attention put on the Petey Williams match, CWE officials stumbled upon a fact that had been overlooked: The Bouncer has never lost a singles match in the CWE! When officials came to this realization, coupled with his decisive victory over Nickie Valentino in March, they had no choice but to sign the match. The Bouncer will have the biggest chance of his CWE career when he steps into the ring with Patrick Hayes on May 1st at Path of Destruction II!
FRANCHISE PLAYERS GET THEIR LAST SHOT AT THE GOLD!
Benjamin C Steele has worked hard at making sure his charge, the Straight Jacket Mafia, maintained their position as CWE Tag Team Champions. He has gone to whatever depths he has needed to go through to ensure that they would keep the gold. Whether it was his training with the Mafia that allowed them to cheat to defeat the LA Gunz last month, or the direct interference he has resorted to which allowed them to win the titles in the first place, Steele has done his part to keep the Mafia on top. On the other side of the spectrum, the Franchise Players have been consistently screwed over of title victories. They have emerged as being one of the brightest teams in the state, but have been held back from taking those CWE Tag Team Titles. So the Franchise Players have lobbied to receive another title shot. They received one in January and came up short. They received one in February and came up short. They defeated the Irish Airborne in March, but after losing two consecutive matches, that does anything but warrant a title shot. Yet still, a sympathetic eye was cast on them by management due to the outside activities Steele is known by. They have granted a rematch to the Players, but under one stipulation : If they lose this time, it will be a long road and a long time until they receive another shot. Confident that this will be their time, the Players have accepted. Will it truly be the Players time to shine, or will Ben Steele and the Mafia keep the belts around their waist for at least one more month.
MOONDOG SCRAP ATTEMPTS REVENGE ON HOBO JOE!
At Two Years Later, Moondog Scrap was embarrassed by the dumpster dweller, Hobo Joe, when Hobo pretended to throw Scraps bone into the audience. This caused Scrap to lose by disqualification, and ever since then, things havent been right for Scrap. Through a series of itches and barks, Scrap has asked for Hobo on May 1st. Hobo, who seemed noticeably frustrated after his loss to Gregory Iron at the last show, needs this victory to restore confidence and regain his spirit. Will that happen, or will Scrap get his first taste of victory in the CWE?
More matches will be announced in the next several weeks, but here are the names of some of the other superstars announced for the show:
Ryan Burke, LA Gunz, Tuff Tina, Ryan Mitchell, Scott Prodigy, Nickie Valentino, Kevin Bradway, Jack Verville, Louis Lyndon, Logan Shulo, and more!
Keep your eyes posted as more names and announcements are added to this event. Dont forget, Path of Destruction II : Canadian Destroyers will take place Friday, May 1st, 2009 at The Wedge Nightclub at 1743 South Raccoon Road in Austintown, Ohio 44515. Doors open at 6:30pm and the official bell time for the nights festivities will begin at 7:30pm. Tickets are available in advance at all Havana House locations for $10, or available at the door day of the show for $12. Come experience entertainment!
FPW – Lakewood, OH
Posted on April 11, 2009 by V.L. Stricklett
FIRESTORM PRO would like to take this opportunity to invite you to come to Take It Back 2009 THE ROAD TO WAR GAMES STARTS HERE!!! Come out to the legendary PHANTASY THEATRE located at 11802 Detroit Ave. Lakewood, Ohio 44107 on May 9th to see all the stars of FIRESTORM PRO deliver another blockbuster event. Doors open for this event at 7:00 PM and the bell is at 8:00 PM. This show is open to fans of all ages.
At “Rise of the Real Underground 2009″ FIRESTORM PRO Owner JC threw down a challenge to the Firestorm Champ JOHN McCHESNEY. He told McCHESNEY that he is sick and tired of his constant attempts to disrupt the company’s vision and endless disrespect that he shows JC, the other wrestlers in FIRESTORM PRO, and all of the fans in attendance at every show. JC told McCHESNEY that in July McCHESNEY would lead TEAM BIG LEAGUE into battle against JC’s hand selected TEAM FIRESTORM in our first ever WAR GAMES styled match. JC promised a fifteen foot high steel cage, tables, chairs, and scaffolding. McCHESNEY agreed to the epic match only if JC agreed to a few terms, he demanded that the match be a one fall winner takes all format and that if TEAM BIG LEAGUE were victorious in July that JOHN McCHESNEY would assume full and total control of FIRESTORM PRO!!! JC agreed but added a stipulation of his own, if TEAM FIRESTORM is victorious; whoever scores the victory will be crowned the NEW Undisputed Firestorm Pro Heavyweight Champion!!! The news of these titanic terms have shocked everyone in the entire company. Both control of FIRESTORM PRO and the Undisputed Firestorm championship are on the line!!!! The ramifications from this match will literally change the course of this companys history. You do not want to miss a minute of the action on May 9th as both TEAM FIRESTORM and TEAM BIG LEAGUE look for the final members to complete their four man teams. THE ROAD TO WAR GAMES STARTS MAY 9th!!!!!!
Already Signed
Undisputed Firestorm Pro Heavyweight Champion “Big League” JOHN McCHESNEY vs THE AFTERMATH
This match headlines a night full of “first time evers” for FIRESTORM PRO. THE AFTERMATH has had his hands full month after month dealing with the enraged J-ROCC and back to back challengers hand picked by “The Big Daddy” who were paid to take him out. At each turn, THE AFTERMATH bucks the odds and rises to meet the challenge. He always finds a way to snatch victory from the jaws of defeat. He is the consummate underdog. A small frame that can barely contain the courageous heart that beats within. However standing across the ring from THE AFTERMATH on May 9th is a man who has used any means necessary to get what he wants since the birth of FIRESTORM PRO. McCHESNEY has already selected 2 other members of his 4 man team. He will sure to be on the lookout for a fourth member who impresses him on May 9th. What will the champion’s strategy be coming into the match? With all of his TEAM BIG LEAGUE members wrestling earlier in the night, who will be in a condition to be ringside when the champion finally steps into the squared circle? Will we FINALLY see McCHESNEY have to stand alone and on his own?? Never one to let little things like rules, ethics, or even basic human decency get in his way when victory is on his mind, what will the Champion have in store for THE AFTERMATH knowing full well that he is a member of TEAM FIRESTORM and will be trying to wrest his prized title from him in July? Also motivating McCHESNEY is the fact that his former mentor J-ROCC has been the one trying to eliminate THE AFTERMATH for months. Will the student be able to accomplish what the teacher has yet to do? If McCHESNEY does succeed in knocking THE AFTERMATH out of commission will TEAM FIRESTORM have enough time to recover and select a new team mate? This match is truly a powder keg just waiting to explode!! Does THE AFTERMATH have another upset hidden up his sleeve or will his luck run out when he steps into the ring with the Champ?
“The Big Daddy of Destruction” J-ROCC w/ VICKY vs RAYMOND ROWE w/ SAMANTHA ANNE
This is a match up of true polar opposites. J-ROCC loves to talk. ROWE does his talking in the ring. J-ROCC is a schemer; he will use any of the tricks up his sleeve and sometimes some blatantly questionable tactics to secure a victory. ROWE comes at his opponents like a bulldozer, straight forward he simply attacks and keeps coming until his hand is raised at the end of the night. J-ROCC’s finishing maneuver “The One Hitter Quitter” is a modified DVD designed to score a pinfall after landing it. ROWE’s trademark finisher is an elevated knee strike to the back of the head he calls “The Death Rowe” and he’s looking for a knockout when it lands. J-ROCC once had 4:20 emblazoned across his tights and leads a life of vice and excess “worthy of a star.” ROWE is straight edge and blue collar in both his lifestyle and work ethic. On top of all their other differences, J-ROCC has been going through some loyalty issues with his valet and female companion VICKY. She has repeatedly hesitated when J-ROCC has called on her to help him cheat to victory and adamantly refused to help J-ROCC in his attempts to injure THE AFTERMATH. Questions and rumors have begun to fly in the locker room and J-ROCC has become increasingly violent in his treatment of VICKY ensuring that if for no other reason she will stay by his side out of fear. ROWE meanwhile is engaged to SAMANTHA ANNE and she repeatedly has stepped in and fought off attempted interference from “Big League” STEPHANIE during his matches. And at the contract signing between ROWE and McCHESNEY when McCHESNEY crossed the lines with his taunts SAMANTHA ANNE slapped the taste out of the Champion’s mouth nearly sparking a riot. Seemingly the only thing that these two opponents have in common is that they are both gunning for a victory for their respective teams leading into WAR GAMES in July. How will J-ROCC’s paranoia over VICKY and his obsession with THE AFTERMATH affect his mental preparation and concentration during what promises to be a slug fest?
“Big Leauge” SHANE TAYLOR vs PATRICK HAYES
SHANE TAYLOR is a physical freak. A former collegiate All-American wrestler who stands 6’1” and weighs 350 pounds, he is blessed with an uncanny athletic ability for a man his size. He throws a lariat that nearly decapitates opponents when it lands. All of these attributes could make someone a hands down favorite to become a champion, however, TAYLOR has chosen a different path. He became the hired gun for McCHESNEY’s TEAM BIG LEAGUE and has been wreaking havoc on the Firestorm roster ever since. He has been instrumental in not only McCHESNEY’s title win but also in keeping the belt firmly around the Champ’s waist. His opponent on May 9th will be the Number One Contender to McCHESNEY’s title PATRICK HAYES. HAYES has earned his reputation for playing hard and partying harder. His pre and post match celebrations with fans are the stuff of legends. Recently though, the things that are standing out the most are the things that HAYES has been accomplishing in between the bells. He has quietly collected a string of victories over some very impressive opponents. He has beaten bigger men (KENNY HENDRIX) faster men (STARLESS) more physically gifted men (M-DOGG) and he even scored a pinfall victory over the current Champion JOHN McCHESNEY at “Rise of the Real Underground 2009″ in the tag team main event. When he steps into the ring on May 9th he will quite literally be facing his BIGGEST challenge to date. The outcome of this match will have a huge affect on each team’s strategy heading into WAR GAMES. Will HAYES be able to defeat the seemingly unstoppable TAYLOR? Or will TAYLOR’s reign of destruction continue and ruin the party for HAYES?
ANGELDUST vs “Big League” STEPHANIE vs the debuting BRITTANY FORCE
The last time that ANGELDUST and STEPHANIE were in a ring together SHAWN BLAZE debuted his secret weapon in his war against ANGELDUST and when he lured her out of the ring KENNY HENDRIX came out of nowhere and annihilated her. At “Rise of the Real Underground 2009″ ANGELDUST evened the score with BLAZE defeating him in a singles match despite HENDRIX’s interference and forced him to wear a dress. With BLAZE now in her rearview mirror she has re-focused herself onto clearing out the growing Women’s Division of the Firestorm Pro roster. In her way on May 9th will be “Big League” STEPHANIE who was also victorious at the last show when she defeated former WWE Hardcore Champion CYNDIE BOBCAT. Since aligning herself with TEAM BIG LEAUGE there has been nothing but controversy following STEPHANIE wherever she goes. To add to this already potentially show stealing match is the debuting BRITTANY FORCE. BRITTANY comes to Firestorm from a successful run in numerous companies all over Pennsylvania. She has been a champion almost everywhere that she goes and is no stranger to high profile women’s matches. She is going to be looking to make a big splash when she lands in Firestorm on May 9th. This is not going to be a pillow swinging slumber party… The fur is certainly going to fly in this catfight!!!
Also: The debut of “Big Time” BILL COLLIER, THE CUT THROAT CREW (“Ruthless” RUFIO RAPIER and “Bloody” MORTY RACKEM, THE DEAD NATION (RYAN BURKE and KEVIN BRADWAY), SHAWN BLAZE, KENNY HENDRIX, NICKIE VALENTINO, OMEGA, the debut of CLUB DB and MUCH MUCH MORE!!!
REMEMBER: Friday May 9th. PHANTASY THEATRE. 7:00PM. Admission for this event is only $8 in advance and $10 at the door!!! Make sure to get your tickets early through the FIRESTORM PRO Myspace.
