Black Diamond Wrestling Announces The Dawg House

Diamond Dawg Promotions, the parent company of Black Diamond Wrestling, announces the construction of a permanent facility for Black Diamond Wrestling shows beginning on June 5th 2009. The facility, located on US Rt. 40 just west of Bridgeport Ohio, continues to be constructed with a completion date of early May. Currently the walls have been raised, and electrical work is being done.

The arena, which will be known as the BDW “Dawg House” is nearly 4,000 sq. ft. Not included in that size is a locker room area with both male and female areas that adds nearly another 1,000 sq.ft. Appearing talent will have a separate entrance as well as indoor parking for security and safety for them. A 48 sq. ft. interview stage has just been completed too. Over head lighting, of not only bright match lighting, but will also feature over head colored lighting during entrances. Additionally the sound system components will be over head to add to the arena feel.

This is a big undertaking for the owners of Diamond Dawg Promotions, and they are confident the work is well worth the reward. Black Diamond Wrestling CEO Rikk Diamond had this to say. “Black Diamond Wrestling has surpassed everyone’s expectations with our history as the longest continuous running independent wrestling promotion in the Ohio Valley. We built our fan base in a large area holding events in every possible community for the past 5 years.” When asked why now was the time to get a permanent home Diamond added, “I feel we took ample time to create a fan base. Any community with suitable facilities to accommodate a BDW event we have held an event in. Our fans have been asking recently when we would have a permanent home. Even going as far as to approach some facilities for that. The fans want it, the stars of BDW want it, and now myself and Big Dawg want to make it happen.”

Pressed for information regarding some of the things fans can expect to see from BDW at the new “Dawg House” Diamond wouldn’t elaborate in detail. “We have some surprises. Big things to set BDW apart. Plans to really give our fans the best shows possible. Secrets if you will, that will make us stronger, better, and more talked about with our future events.” Asked for the slightest of detail regarding the first event on June 5th Diamond would only say this, “Its coming. The way the NWO revolutionized WCW, the Attitude Era revolutionized WWE, the “Dawg House” will do that for BDW. I have just placed a small hint into the first event on June 5th. That being NWO, WCW, and WWE. That’s all I will say at this time.”

Big Dawg, co owner of Black Diamond Wrestling and CEO of Diamond Dawg Promotions, could not be reached for comment.

Here’s the quick results from Ring of Honor’s return to the Montgomery County Fairgrounds in Dayton, OH on 4/24/09. Crowd was said to be pretty good. At least 550-600…

Josh Raymond & Christian Able vs. The Soul Shooters ends in a no contest when The Dark City Fight Club comes in and destroys everyone.

JT Vega & “Dirty” Ernie Osiris over Tim Donst & Andy “Right Leg” Ridge when Osiris pins Donst after a flatliner.

Mikey Nicholls over Samson with a top rope crossbody.

Bryan Danielson over Eddie Edwards via pinfall when reversing a small package. Back and forth match, but with Danielson constantly being one move ahead.

Claudio Castagnoli over Silas Young, Matt Cross and “Skullkrusher” Rasche Brown in a Four Corner Survival when Young submitted in the Swi$$ Sleeper. Cross is sporting a massive mohawk and took a scary bump in the match, but appeared to be ok. Brown did a front-flip spear.

Jimmy Rave over Grizzly Redwood with the Ghanarhea after Osiris distracts Redwood. The Embassy’s new music is “fantastic.” The Embassy beat down Redwood after the match.

Austin Aries & Rhett Titus over The Pheonix Twins via pinfall after a brainbuster from Aries. Match was “what you would expect.”

Colt Cabana over Chris Hero via submission with the Billy Goat’s Curse.

Jimmy Jacobs over Egotistico Fantastico when Fantastico misses a merosault and taps in The End Time.

Davey Richards over Tyler Black with a schoolboy while holding the tights.

Kevin Steen & Jay Briscoe over The Dark City Fight Club (Kory Chavis & Jon Davis) when Steen rolled up Chavis.

Jerry Lynn over Roderick Strong to retain the ROH World Title after two cradle piledrivers. Strong was busted open the hardway and bleeding like a faucet.

7:30 PMto10:30 PM

Revolutionary Championship Wrestling’s Injection 7 goes down at 7:30 PM on Saturday June 27, 2009 at the Jackson Memorial Building, 145 Broadway St. in Jackson, OH and features former WWE Superstar, Eugene! Tickets are available now at Jackson Shell’s Mom’s Pizza on Huron Street, and at our Portsmouth locations: Front Row Video, Domino’s, and Castle Comics.

Seven years ago RCW revolutionized the Rumble when they presented the very first Injection Battle Royal! 20 men randomly enter at 2 minute intervals. The only way to get eliminated is to be thrown over the top rope. Once we are down to the final 4, a pinfall must take place to be eliminated. The Final 3 require a Submission. Then, the Final 2 must battle it out in a Table Match. The only way to win is to put your opponent through a table! The Injection Battle Royal is a long, grueling match but one that wrestlers and fans look forward to each year. Past winners include Trik Nasty, Tank Runyon (2x), Judas Thorn, Juggulator, and Dirk Exteme. Those names are some of the elite in RCW so winning the Rumble could propel one’s career far. Here is a list of those that are signed up to be in this year’s 7th Annual Injection Rumble…

Randy “The King” Allen, “Violent” Vance Desmond, Juggulator, Otto Von Boogiemeister, Flash Fury, El Nino, “American Idol” Dirk Extreme, “Bad News” Keith Hamblin, “Genuine” Jock Samson, Brian Cross, “Livewire” Chris Smith, Heavy Metal, Chad Cruise (#20), “The Black Superman” Onyx, Nikki Tyler, Eugene, Tyson Rogers, JD Santos, and two yet to be named mystery entrants!

Also at Injection 7, Tyson Rogers gets one last chance at the RCW Gold as he takes on “American Idol” Dirk Extreme in a match with Tank Runyon once again officiating. It should be interesting to see if Exotic E and company pull any tricks out of their sleeve.

Plus, the end of a career. June 27th will mark the end for either “Livewire” Chris Smith or Randy “The King” Allen’s long and storied careers. Allen made the challenge last month after Smith’s taunting of Allen from the video screen. The only way for Allen to get out of the dress is to retire Chris Smith. If he doesn’t then Randy Allen will not only have to retire but retire in the aforementioned dress. An embarrassing end to a career to say the least. High stakes in this one.

“Violent” Vance Desmond has accepted a match that many are excited to see. Desmond will put his RCW North American Title on the line against former WWE Star, Eugene. Eugene could leave Jackson with the RCW NA Title…then again Desmond and Exotic E are known for their underhanded tactics. This should be a classic.

The 8-man tag-team match has action written all over it. One pinfall ends the bout. Flash Fury, Nikki Tyler, Chad Cruise, and Otto Von Boogiemeister take on “Genuine” Jock Samson, “Bad News” Keith Hamblin, Heavy Metal, and Brian Cross. This one is sure to get out of hand!

The RCW World Tag-Team Titles are on the line. Onyx’s co-champion Ace Gigolo is still out on the injured list. If Onyx cannot find a partner he will have to battle Da Rydas duo of JD Santos & Juggulator by himself! Does Onyx have any friends besides Mastermind and Gigolo? Could be an easy title victory for Da Rydas…then again, Onyx does have the strength of two men.

All this and more goes down on Saturday June 27, 2009 at the Jackson Memorial Building in Jackson, OH when RCW presents their Summer Classic…RCW: Injection. Don’t miss a minute of the action! For more information and advance tickets, check out RCW’s official website at www.rcwonline.com.

RCW – Portsmouth, OH

7:30 PMto10:30 PM

Fans make sure that you mark Saturday June 13th down on your calendars because it is a day that you don’t want to miss. HARDCORE ICON, MAD MAN PONDO comes to Portsmouth courtesy of The Mastermind. Mastermind has signed a battle for ages. To get back at the Rydas for putting 1/2 of The Mastermind’s RCW World Tagteam Champions, Ace Gigolo on the shelf, The Mastermind has brought in MAD MAN PONDO and a MYSTERY PARTNER of Pondo’s choosing to face Trik Nasty and The Juggulator. Pondo knows The Juggulator all too well and vice versa, so it will be interesting to see how sadistic this match will get. It all happens on Saturday June 13th at the Portsmouth Elk’s City Lodge located at 314 4th Street in Portsmouth, OH. Tickets are $10 Presale; $12 at the door plus kids 4 and under can get in for FREE! Belltime is at 7:30pm with doors opening at 6:30pm. Besides the match we have listed above the night is packed with a solid card that you cannot miss.

“American Idol” Dirk Extreme will have his hands full and may even have to make sure the ring is reinforced because he will be taking on 2 mammoth individuals in a Triple Threat for the RCW World Heavyweight Title. The Mastermind is sticking his “Black Superman” Onyx into the match and Tyson Rogers is said to be healing up and expected to be in the bout as well. At Online Aggression, Rogers suffered a blown out knee and Onyx was thrust into a situation unprepared. This time around everyone in the ring will be prepared and odds are not in the Champions favor. Onyx could become a dual champion or Tyson, who will have Exotic E in his corner, could finally get the Big Win.

Randy “The King” Allen is said to still be livid due to losing the dress match. He must finish out the rest of 2009 wrestling in the dress due to the stipulations in the loss to Chris Smith. “The King” or “Queen” as it may seem now will be facing RCW’s hottest rising star….Chad Cruise. Cruise had a fantastic outing against Jock Samson at Online Aggression and walked away with the win. On June 13th he will be facing one of RCW’s mainstays in Randy Allen. Will the King be victorious or will Cruise embarrass the King further?

RCW’s longest reigning former champions in history, Rated X, Flash Fury & Nikki Tyler will also be reuniting on June 13th for one night only to take on “Bad News” Keith Hamblin and Hamblin’s newest protégé’ Heavy Metal. At Online Aggression Heavy Metal made a rockin’ debut and shock rocked everyone especially Nikki Tyler. He and Hamblin have a lot to prove if they think they are going to run over one of RCW’s most popular duos of all time.

“Genuine” Jock Samson has told the fans repeatedly not to call him “jock-strap”. The mere mention of the athletic support sends Samson into fits. We here at www.rcwonline.com have learned that the nickname was given to Jock by a former opponent of Samson. Someone that was a thorn in Samson’s side during his wrestling endeavors. This individual has been contacted by RCW Officials about making his debut here in Revolutionary Championship Wrestling. He has accepted and will be making his debut against his nemesis. His name is Otto Von Boogiemeister. The German will no doubt have his hands full not mention his ears when he meets Jock Samson on June 13th.

The RCW North American Champion “Violent” Vance Desmond along with Exotic E have had a tight grip on the belt since winning it last September. They however have not been able to shake JD Santos off of the North American Title trail. Since Santos has returned, Desmond and company have threw curve ball after curve ball at fan favorite. Will Santos finally wrestle the gold from Desmond or does Exotic E have one more pitch that will keep Vance Desmond on top of his game. We are told that The Mastermind is meeting with The Board of Directors as well as Santos and Desmond about adding a stipulation to this bout. We will keep you informed here on www.rcwonline.com.

An open invitation Battle Royal will also be taking place with the winner not only earning his spot in the Injection 7 Rumble (June 27th in Jackson, OH) but THE spot to have. The winner will be the last entrant, #20 in the Rumble.

Don’t miss RCW’s Road To Injection ’09 at the Elk’s City Lodge in Portsmouth, Ohio on June 13th at 7:30pm!

PWO News: Rise Up Fallout & New TV Ratings Record

PWO’s television taping this past Saturday was another success for Pro Wrestling Ohio in and around the Cleveland market. Several major news stories were addressed, and at times escalated by the actions and events that took place. A MAJOR shake-up has occurred in the PWO Title picture, but not involving the individuals that you may expect! A new number one contender to the PWO Title was crowned, which will lead to a match months in the making. A tag team continued to dissolve into a state of disarray, as a once-thought unbreakable alliance showed weakness in its foundation as well. Hobo Joe’s lottery winnings may have led to two losses far worse than $25,000, while Aaron Maguire just attempted to escape unscathed.

Check back to www.PWOWrestling.com and www.myspace.com/prowrestlingohio for information on when you can see all this and more unfold on PWO TV on Sports Time Ohio!

Also, check back shortly for more information on PWO’s next live event in the first weekend of June, featuring for the first time on television in nearly 20 years, “Rhythm & Blues” re-unites as The Honky Tonk Man makes his PWO debut alongside Hall of Famer Greg “The Hammer” Valentine!

PWO TV SHATTERS RATINGS RECORD

Pro Wrestling Ohio would like to thank all of our great fans for making this past week’s edition of PWO TV on Sports Time Ohio the highest rated professional wrestling show in the history of Sports Time Ohio. Network sources place the program at doing a 1.95 composite rating in the Cleveland/Akron/Canton television market, peaking at a 2.5 during the final quarter-hour, shattering prior records for professional wrestling on the network. PWO appreciates your continued support through our television product, live events, and DVDs through our www.PWOWrestling.com online store. April 22, 2009
7:30 PMto10:30 PM

On the heels of HWA CyberClash 4.0, the HWA continues their weekly tradition at The Sorg Opera House this Wednesday April 22nd.

The Sorg Opera House is located at 65 S. Main Street in downtown Middletown.

The action starts at 7:30 PM and all tickets are only $5.00!

Already signed…

HWA TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS THE HYBRIDS vs. DAVE CRIST & DUSTIN RAYZ

The Hybrids may have come out on top of the Three Way Dance at HWA CyberClash (thanks in part to their partner in crime, Tim Donst) but they’ll have no time to rest as they are set to defend the titles this Wednesday against the dynamic duo of Dave Crist and Dustin Rayz.

The tag team titles have been the proverbial hot potato over the past few weeks could we see another changing of the guard this Wednesday?

“DEJA VU” RICHARD PHILLIPS vs. TIM DONST

The HWA Cruiserweight Champion Tim Donst may have slipped by one of the HWA’s top cruiserweights in the form of “Astonishing” Aaron Williams at HWA CyberClash 4.0, but how will he fare against one of the HWA’s super heavyweights this Wednesday when he meets “Deja Vu” Richard Phillips.

NEVAEH vs. SASSY STEPHIE SINCLAIR

Ladies action returns to the HWA ring this Wednesday when Nevaeh squares off with Sassy Stephie Sinclair.

These two recently competed on Ring of Honor on HDNet but you can see them live and in person this Wednesday.

JESSE EMERSON vs. ALA HUSSEIN

Last week Ala Hussein picked up a shady victory over Jesse Emerson thanks to an assist from Dick Rick Leykis.

Emerson took care of The DR this past Saturday at CyberClash, but now he has some unfinished business with Hussein this Wednesday at The Sorg!.

UTTERLY FABULOUS vs. “THE MADNESS” CHRIS HALL & V-RAD

The boys of Utterly Fabulous are still feeling the effects of “The Madness” Chris Hall’s attack last week when Kid and Sid were participating in the first ever Utterly Fabulous Dance Off.

This Wednesday Utterly Fabulous will have a chance to deliver some payback when they meet Hall and his partner, V-Rad.

PLUS “BAD ATTITUDE” BRIAN BEECH IN ACTION AND APPEARANCES BY HWA HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPION JAKE CRIST and ANDRE HEART!

*CARD SUBJECT TO CHANGE
