There was one more stop on the road to HWA CyberClash 4.0 as the Heartland Wrestling Association made their weekly stop to The Sorg Opera House Wednesday night.

The now former HWA Tag Team Champions Donovan Cain & Jason Lyte (The Hybrids) made their way to the ring to not only protest their loss of the HWA Tag Team Titles last Saturday night in Peoria, but the violation of the restraining order by Dave Crist after that match. The Hybrids demanded that President Tim Tatum come out and turn over the company to them or else they’d sue.

Instead of Tim Tatum, out came Dave Crist, Dustin Rayz and “Astonishing” Aaron Williams. Dave informed The Hybrids that after seeing his own lawyer last week, the restraining order that he supposedly violated had been thrown out… and that’s when the fists started flying.

With only Donovan Cain and Aaron Williams left in the ring, the referee called for the bell and the scheduled Cain/Williams match ended up starting the show, with Aaron getting the better of Donovan and picking up the win, something he hopes to do against Cain’s fellow Crusader, HWA Cruiserweight Champion Tim Donst this weekend.

Next up was “Relentless” Ron Mathis and V-Rad in singles competition with their respective tag team partners in their corner. Mathis wasted little time going right after V-Rad, but it wasn’t long before The Madness got involved in the proceedings.

Beech was infuriated at ringside as V-Rad picked up a controversial win on Mathis before slipping away with The Madness at his side.

Jesse Emerson went one on one with the returning Ala Hussein, and in a scene reminiscent from last week, Dick Rick Leykis got involved and cost Jesse the match against Hussein. Afterwards Leykis assaulted Jesse with a steel chair working over the ribs of Emerson and softening up the Indianapolis native for their match up Saturday in Norwood.

Dick Rick would then be in legal action as he took on fellow HWA veteran “The Mauler from Motown” Ben Kimera. The match ended abruptly when a battered and bruised Jesse Emerson pulled Leykis out of the ring attacking his CyberClash opponent on the outside forcing the referee to disqualify Ben Kimera and award the match to “The Natural Selection”.

Up next was the first ever Utterly Fabulous Dance Off between Kid and Sid… before the answer to the who is the better dancer in Utterly Fabulous question could be answered, “The Madness” Chris Hall showed up and assaulted Kid and Sid, while V-Rad shouted encouragement from the outside hoping to send a message to Beech and Mathis for this weekend and the Norwood Street Fight.

Dave Crist returned to action after a two week hiatus and defeated Carlton Kaz.

A preview of this weekend’s Tag Team Title Three Way took place as the “Sweet Sexy Sensation” Andre Heart defeated Jason Lyte and Dustin Rayz in a Triple Threat Match, when Heart pinned Lyte.

Andre’s post match celebration was cut short when The Hybrids showed up and double teamed him, until Andre’s GP Code brother, Ben Kimera made the save and took it to The Hybrids and letting them know there was more where that came from in store for them at CyberClash on Saturday night.

And in the main event of the evening, HWA Heavyweight Champion Jake Crist and Deja Vu combined forces to battle JT Stahr and Dean “The Dream” Jablonski in a colossal tag team match.

Stahr picked up a huge amount of momentum when he pinned Jake after Jake was the victim of a claw face chokeslam courtesy of Dean Jablonski.
