Xtreme Combat Wrestling returned to The Warsaw Arena in Price Hill, OH on Saturday March 7, 2009 when they presented March to Glory. If you weren’t there, here’s what you missed…

DDK, accompanied by his bitches Garf Redman & Naughtia defeated the debuting “Phenomanazing” Steve Blainard

After the first match, announcer Artie Kidwell introduced the Chairman of the XCW Championship Committee Ghetto Fabulous. He came out holding the Heavyweight belt and informed the crowd that current champion Gotti had been suspended indefinitely and stripped of the title. He then brought out #1 contender DJ Tom Sharp who was expecting to be handed the belt. Such was not the case though, as Ghetto informed him that since he was never able to beat the previous champion, he would not be handed anything. However, Sharp remained #1 contender and would fight for the vacant title in the main event against an opponent of Ghetto’s choosing.

Matt Taylor defeated The Big Kahuna

The Wylde Brothers defeated Tag Team Champions The Ruffen Boyz in a non-title match, scoring the pinfall on Showboat. By defeating the champions, The Wylde Brothers have become the #1 contenders, internationally, for any tag titles.

Awesome Dewey Brown defeated the debuting Captivating Cory Mason by DQ when Mason threw some sort of powder substance into the eyes of Brown in plain view of referee Joe Kopaz. After the bell had rang, Mason continued to lay into Brown until Kevin Moore hit the ring and fought him off. As Moore attempted to help Dew back to his feet, he received a ddt for his trouble from the still confused Brown. Brown later realized his mistake and apologized repeatedly.

“Bulldog” Garf Redman with his bitch DDK defeated Jason Cross

In the main event, DJ Tom Sharp defeated Drew “The Don” Johnson by busting a move to become the new XCW Heavyweight Champion.

Congratulations to Tom Sharp on his title win. He will make his first defense at Honor on 3/21 at the Warsaw Arena. All proceeds from Honor will go to benefit the March of Dimes. For more info. check out xcwwrestlingonline.com or call (513)588-6029
