DWA Returns to Sayler Park, OH on 2/28/09

The Dynamic Wrestling Alliance returns to the Historic Parkland Theater, 6550 Parkland Ave, Sayler Park, Ohio on Saturday February 28, 2009! Tickets are only $8.00. Bell time will be 4:00 PM and the doors open at 3:00 PM. Come be a part of the action!

And what a night of action it’s gonna be! DWA Champion Phoenix and Bearegard J. Davis will go head to head yet once again at the upcoming Parkland Theater show Saturday February 28, in Sayler Park, Ohio with the DWA Heavyweight Championship on the line. Only this time a stipulation has been added. The two men will return to battle each other under “Lumberjack Strap” rules. A number of lumberjacks will surround the ring with straps in hand waiting for either competitor to be thrown to the outside where they will likely suffer a severe beating.

The decision to even book such a match came from the new DWA Vice President Tony Bertone after Col. Jonathan James stormed into his office earlier this week demanding a return title shot for his client Davis against Phoenix. Bertone was happy to oblige but only on the condition that Davis agreed to wrestle under the Lumberjack Strap rules. “Even though I’m new around here, I’m well aware how Double J. Enterprises does business in the ring. And I believe this added stipulation to the title match will do more than even the playing field for the champ. Not to mention it gives the fans a little more excitement to look forward to,” stated Bertone in a phone interview.

Lumberjack Strap matches have often turned out quite gruesome throughout the history of wrestling and this one is expected to be no different. However with the DWA gold on the line, both the champion Phoenix and Davis will no doubt be on top of their game. Not to mention The Col. who will likely have a trick or two hidden up his sleeve as well.
