Another night of great DWA Wrestling action is in the books from the Parkland Theater in Sayler Park, Oh.

Kicking off the afternoon, the “Saturday Night Franchise” Damien Daniels made rather easy work of the NightCrawler.

Feeling that he needed a “warm-up” match before the Grudge Match Tag Team event later in the day, the Regulator defeated another newcomer in the DWA, Jordan Lachey, who was making his Pro Wrestling debut.

One half of the Tag Team “Bad News”, Keith News took Princeton Travis to task in a very physical match and of course, needed help from his tag partner Pete News to take home the win.

Just before intermission, Ed “Parkland Punisher” Miller came to the ring to personally thank and introduce his partner for the Tag Team Grudge Match event later in the day, Gator Henry, who is also coming out of retirement to lace ‘em up after 15 years.

After the intermission, it was bizness as usual in the DWA as the Col. Jonathan James escorted his man, Beauregard
Jefferson Daveis to the ring to take on the Ugandan giant, Kamala, Jr., in hopes of FINALLY getting a win against the man from the Jungle. In the end, it was Davis getting flattened and rolled up for the 3-count. After the match, the Colonel went into a finger-lickin’ hissy fit proclaiming “Do I hafta get into the ring myself to rid the DWA of Kamala and put my name on a contract”? Asst Commish/Ring Announcer Dave Michaels, in the absence of DWA CEO Norman Guy, granted the Colonel his wish and made a match for Feb 28th., between James and Kamala, Jr., much to the Col’s dismay and to the delight of the Parkland Theater crowd.

Next up, it was the DWA Tri-State Championship up for grabs as crowd favorite “Lightning” Tim Lutz took on the Champion, the Phantom. It was back and forth throughout the match but Malice appeared ringside and hit Lutz with a kendo stick while the Phantom had the ref distracted and then covered Lutz for the 3-count. Not feeling a 3-count was enough, the Phantom and Mailce went on to double-team Lutz and beat him down, when from the locker room came former DWA TS champ Princeton Travis to the rescue. After the smoke cleared the duo of Lutz and Travis issued a challenge to the Masked men for a match on Feb 28th when the DWA returns to Sayler Park.

It was time for the TagTeam Grudge Match that the town of Sayler Park had waited a month for….Ed “Parkland Punisher” Miller and his new friend and partner, Gator Henry, took on the hated Regulator and his new Minion, the Canadien Destroyer” Bull Newlun. The match got started in an unusual way as the son of Henry, “Little Gator” was harassed by Regulator and promptly took the pointed finger of Regulators and promptly made a lil Gator snack of it and then shin-kicked the most hated man in Sayler Park. As the match went on each team enjoyed the edge many times, but it was the team of Miller and Henry who came out victorious. And to add insult to injury, Miller announced hir re-retirement before the Regulator could issue another challenge. Miller stated that he was just tired of kicking Regulators BUTT!

And on to the Main Event, the DWA Heavyweight Champ Phoenix was taking on his ole nemesis Malice for the belt. Wanting to reverse the outcome from the last meeting with the Champ in Trenton, Oh in August 2008, the help from the Phantom in Malice’s corner wasn’t enough as Phoenix held on for the 3-count to retain the GOLD.

Again, the DWA will be returning to the Parkland Theater on Satuday, Feb 28th for a 4pm Belltime, Tickets as always are $8. We hope to see another packed house.
