OCW’s own Ashley Lane (aka Madison Rayne) will debut on TNA Impact on the Jan 8th episode! She just returned from the tapings in Orlando this past week! Everything was said to have went very well! OCW would like to congratulate Ashley on this huge accomplishment and wish her the very best!

(Editors Note: We at WrestleOhio.com would also like to wish her well. Ms. Lane has been one of the top stars in the Ohio independent wrestling scene for a few years now, and we can’t wait to see her kickin’ ass and takin’ names on TNA!)

Results – HWA: World War III – 12/19/08
Posted on December 20, 2008 by V.L. Stricklett
Last night, the HWA closed out 2008 last with a bang as they presented HWA World War III from the historic Sorg Opera House in Middletown, OH.
The show kicked off with “The Natural Selection” Dick Rick defeating up and comer, Ron Mathis. A match DR called a warm up for his appearance in the HWA’s Biggest Battle Royal of the Year later in the evening.
Ladies tag team action graced the HWA ring as the dominant divas, Ashley Lane & Nevaeh were victorious over the team of Sassy Stephie Sinclair and Angel Dust.
Dave Crist drew #1 in the Cruiserweight Gauntlet, defeating Max Fahrenheit (#2) and Kaden Hassad (#3) before being defeated by the HWA Cruiserweight Champion “Astonishing” Aaron Williams (#4) who received an uninvited assist from Dustin Rayz.
Aaron would then go through three more challengers, Donovan Cain (#5), Jason Lyte (#6) and Dustin Rayz (#7) to retain the HWA Cruiserweight Championship.
After the match Aaron was jumped by The Hybrids and Kaden Hassad with Dustin Rayz seemingly directing traffic. But Rayz instead would strike Lyte, Cain and Hassad before Dave Crist came back in and ran the trio off, leaving Aaron, Rayz and Dave alone in the ring.
Rayz would extend his hand to Aaron in a show of respect for the HWA Cruiserweight Champion, Aaron accepted the goodwill gesture. But seconds later in blatant show of disrespect, Dustin slapped Dave in the face before walking out of the ring.
In a match where there were few rules, The Entourage still managed to break some as they squared off with The GP Code and Benjamin Kimera in a Six Man War Games Match.
“Deja Vu” Richard Phillips and V-Rad started the match off for their respective teams. After the initial five minute period was up a coin toss at ringside would determine which team had the one man advantage for the rest of the match. The team of The GP Code & Kimera won the toss and out came Benjamin Kimera, but he wasn’t alone. “The Madness” Chris Hall defying the rules of the War Games match followed Ben and they began to battle before they even made it into the ring.
JT Stahr was the next LEGAL entrant to come into the ring for The Entourage, which left only one man… the “Sweet Sexy Sensation” Andre Heart. Andre’s music hit and all eyes turned to the entrance way… the music continued to play… Still no Andre Heart.
But everyone at The Sorg would soon know where Andre was as he dove from the second floor balcony onto the five combatants who were battling at ringside and the War Games Match was officially on.
There was plenty of plunder and chaos before Deja Vu got the pin and the win, taking the HWA Tag Team Championship away from The Entourage.
The HWA’s Biggest Battle Royal of the Year featured 40 wrestlers of all shapes and sizes. But it all boiled down to the final four, “Shooting Star” Matt Taylor, “Hardcore” Heather Owens, Jesse Emerson and “The Natural Selection” Dick Rick.
After Taylor was eliminated, Heather Owens, who won the 2005 edition of the battle royal, showed no fear as she took it to her male counterparts holding her own before she too was eliminated. Jesse Emerson would then write his name in the HWA history books as he eliminated Dick Rick to win the HWA’s Biggest Battle Royal of the Year.
In what was without question the most barbaric and brutal cage match in HWA history and a sure fire candidate for Match of the Year, HWA Heavyweight Champion Jake Crist would force Jon Moxley to give up as he had Moxley’s legs tied up in the tree of woe and a leather belt wrapped around the neck of Jon Moxley as he pulled Moxley to the center of the ring, stretching and choking “The Most Dangerous Man in the HWA” simultaneously.
Results – HWA at Sorg Opera House – 12/18/08
Posted on December 18, 2008 by V.L. Stricklett
The last stop on HWA’s road to tomorrow night’s HWA World War III took place last night at The Sorg Opera House.
Dustin Rayz, who will compete in the Cruiserweight Gauntlet tomorrow, was victorious against up and comer Ron Mathis in the opening match.
JT Stahr and “The Madness” Chris Hall represented the HWA Tag Team Champions The Entourage in tag team action. Stahr and Hall reigned supreme against the brother combination of Matt & Aaron Taylor. Afterwards “The Madness” brought a sledgehammer into the ring and assaulted Aaron Taylor with it. As a result Aaron Taylor is now questionable for his appearance in the HWA’s Biggest Battle Royal of the Year this Friday. And what may be most disturbing was Matt Taylor’s disregard for the entire situation.
Dave Crist got the better of Entourage member V-Rad, as Dave warmed up for his shot at the HWA Cruiserweight Championship and his chance to get his hands on Dustin Rayz tomorrow night.
The GP Code made a special appearance last night at The Sorg, where they addressed the fans and The Entourage. The Code wanted to up the stakes in their match on Friday Night with War Games rules! The Entourage answered the challenge in a physical way and a wild brawl between Deja Vu, The Madness, Andre Heart and JT Stahr broke out!
Jesse Emerson picked up his biggest victory to date as he defeated “The Natural Selection” Dick Rick.
A rematch 13 months in the making was up next as The Metal Master returned to the HWA after an extended tour overseas to take on “The Most Dangerous Man in the HWA” Jon Moxley.
The last time these two men met in November 2007 they battled to a time limit draw, but last night it was Jon Moxley who proved to be the better man as he picked up the duke and heads into his Steel Cage Showdown with Jake Crist with a great deal of momentum.
The main event of the evening was a special Champion vs. Champion match between HWA Heavyweight Champion Jake Crist and HWA Cruiserweight Champion Aaron Williams. The two champions had some fun with the crowd at the start of the match, but once the bell rang it was all business as both men gave everything they had, testing each other’s mettle and taking each other to the limit.
But the HWA Heavyweight Champion was not going to be outdone by Jon Moxley, as he picked up the win over the reigning HWA Cruiserweight Champion “Astonishing” Aaron Williams.
Don’t miss tomorrow night’s HWA World War III Supercard at The Sorg Opera House! The action starts at 8 PM!
And a reminder, the weekly Wednesday events on will be on a holiday hiatus the next two weeks in observance of Christmas Eve and New Year’s Eve. Wednesday events will resume on January 7th, 2009!

Sunday night, December 14: 11:00 PM
Scheduled for this episode:
Gregory Iron vs. “DeeeLicious” Jimmy DeMarco
Coming off of a career-making Wrestlelution performance when he survived a near-fatal beating, and his official return to full-time competition where he defeated Mike Tolar in just his latest shocking upset, Gregory Iron’s story of triumph and tragedy knows no bounds. Meanwhile, Jimmy DeMarco, the Duke of Debauchery, Prime Minster of Perversion, and Pope of Grope, knows no bounds when it comes to immorality. This sick, perverse, diabolical human being is a social, mental, emotional, and sexual misfit, and is PWO’s most reckless and unpredictable athlete. After two months away from PWO to allegedly ‘cleanse’ himself following a humiliating Wrestlelution, Dr. DeeeLicious returns to face PWO’s cerebral palsy sufferer and inspirational success story. Who will gain the momentum needed in this week’s feature bout?
Greg “The Hammer” Valentine Sit-Down Interview Part 2
Last week, the timeless WWE Hall of Famer took us back in time, re-living his beginnings in the business. This week, The Hammer takes us further on his journey through the 1970s and into the 80s, describing some of his most memorable matches, moments, and rivals. Join Joe Dombrowski as he sits down with this all-time great as Greg Valentine tells his story candidly, openly, and honestly, in Part 2 of this must-see interview.
Vincent Nothing vs. Ernie Ballz of The Clash
Several weeks ago, The Clash seemed to become re-energized and refocused. Ernie Ballz and Brian Bender set their sights officially on the PWO Tag Team Championship, currently held by Vincent Nothing & Jake Crist. This week, Ernie Ballz gets his opportunity to prove himself in singles competition against one-half of the tag champs. Will The Clash send a message to one-half of the champions or can Vincent Nothing maintain tag team dominance?
Marion Fontaine & Noj the Wild Samoan vs. Corey Winters & Eric Ryan
When Fontaine first introduced the world to Noj at Wrestlelution, little did we know that thanks to the help of Fontaine, he would become an accomplished in-ring athlete as well. Noj defeated Winters in his debut, now Winters recruits his tag team partner Eric Ryan to do battle with Noj and the newfound “Friend of the Friendless” Marion Fontaine. Will Fontaine and his unlikely ally be able to overcome their opponents or will Winters & Ryan capture their first tag team victory?
Shiima Xion Returns!
Michael Cash catches up with the internationally traveled young prodigy Shiima Xion. Shiima has been a worldwide attractive his entire life, not only as a professional wrestler, but as a professional model as well. Now, Shiima comes to Pro Wrestling Ohio. And upon his arrival, he promises a big surprise and a major change. What sort of hostile makeover will Shiima give PWO?
This plus: Comments from Bobby Beverly as he reacts to the shocking betrayal of Benjamin Boone, the continuing homeless adventures of Hobo Joe & Aaron Maguire, and a women‘s championship match from Erie!
