If you weren’t at The Sorg Opera House last night you missed a fantastic night of HWA wrestling action as the HWA presented their first weekend spectacular at The Sorg Opera House, HWA High Def!
Jesse Emerson picked up a victory in the opening match over Eric Ryan.
Super Agent Brock Guffman addressed the crowd with his usual level of diplomacy before announcing that the three on two tag team match between his clients, The Entourage and the HWA Tag Team Champions Deja Vu & Benjamin Kimera, was now an HWA Tag Team Title match due to his legal wrangling and superior negotiation skills.
With the numbers advantage once again in the favor of JT Stahr, “The Madness” Chris Hall and V-Rad, The Entourage managed to steal a victory and are once again the HWA Tag Team Champions.
“Quick” Carter Gray and Louis Lyndon dazzled the crowd in their respective debuts with the HWA, but it was Gray with a Shooting Star Frog Splash that would claim victory over Lyndon.
The SHIMMER Tag Team Champions Ashley Lane & Nevaeh had their hands full with the combination of Hailey Hatred & Mary Elizabeth, however when all was said and done Ashley & Nevaeh would leave The Sorg Opera House with their SHIMMER Tag Team titles!
“Astonishing” Aaron Williams defeated Dustin Rayz in Match #7 of the Best of 7 Series, winning the series and retaining his coveted HWA Cruiserweight Championship.
The Irish Airborne (HWA Heavyweight Champion Jake Crist & Dave Crist) defeated the team of Faith In Nothing (Christian Faith & Vincent Nothing) in a spectacular tag team contest!
And in the main event, Jon Moxley and Dick Rick battled in a wild last man standing match that saw both men fight into the balcony of The Sorg Opera House, Jon Moxley get pushed down the stairs while on a stretcher and Dick Rick nearly have both ankles broken with a steel folding chair.
With Dick Rick unable to stand and Moxley being held up by the ropes, The DR was counted out and Moxley was awarded the match!
