Over 150 fans turned out for the Corey Kissling Memorial Show in Logan, Ohio Saturday, September 27, 2008. PWA would like to thank the wrestlers, fans, and especially the Kissling family for making the show a great success.
The first match of the night was an over the top rope Battle Royal which included several top Indy wrestlers, eventually turning into a one-on-one match with “Rockstar” Jerry Bishop and Otto Von Boogiemeister. Bishop defeated Von Boogiemeister to win the inaugural Clash For Corey award.

Draven & Ryan Phoenix vs. Bryce Bennett & Brian Biggs vs. Jason & Jordan Rose w/ JJ Blaze vs. Rogue & Raptor w/ David Lanning vs. “Rockstar” Jerry Bishop & Otto Von Boogiemeister
The third match of the evening was a tag team turmoil. Rogue & Raptor appeared to have the match won after last eliminating the Rose brothers. JJ Blaze then got into a confrontation with David Lanning, which then prompted Lanning to lay Blaze out with a clothesline; this brought out PWA commissioner Ron Gamble, who said that Rogue & Raptor weren’t finished yet, and proceeded to bring out the young team of Trace Matthews & Stryder. They put up a bit of offense, but in the end were eventually overwhelmed by the Legends of Darkness.
“Live Wire” Aaron LaRusso vs. Deacon Knight w/ Mr. Secoy
LaRusso pinned Deacon Knight after reversing a flying body press from the top rope.
M.E. Howerton vs. “Shooting Star” Matt Taylor

After the match, Taylor challenged Howerton to five more minutes. Howerton said that five more minutes would be considered cheating and he is not a cheater; so he did not agree to the five more minutes. Taylor then attacked him and sent him out of the ring.
JT Hogg w/ David Lanning vs. Frankie Andolini
Hogg originally won the match by referee stoppage, then continued to beat on Andolini. Referee Tony Pepper reversed the decision, awarding the match to Frankie Adolini by disqualification.
“Snakeman” Deven Michaels vs. Rick Ramsey
Michaels pinned Ramsey following a DDT.
Codyboy Productions manager Brad Finnearty brought in members of the Logan Football Team to present them with a Memorial poster of Corey Kissling for the locker room. This was then interrupted by “Genuine” Jock Sampson & David Lanning, who then had choice words to say about the crowd and Logan, Ohio in general. They then proceeded to challenge the Logan football players to go in the locker room and find someone who they thought could beat Jock Sampson in a match. The players went to the back and brought out JoeJoe Little.
