Results – HWA: A Fight at the Opera – 11/12/08

It was a cold, damp autumn night in Ohio, but the action inside The Sorg Opera House was red hot last night.

Here’s what went down at this week’s A Fight at The Opera…

In the opening match, Dustin Rayz piledrove and pinned the HWA Cruiserweight Champion “Astonishing” Aaron Williams in the middle of the ring to claim victory in Match #6 of the Best of 7 series. Dustin’s victory forces a Match #7… a match that will take place at HWA High Def on Saturday Night November 22nd.

Benjamin Kimera defeated both Matt & Aaron Taylor in a handicap match, but Ben’s work was not done.

Deja Vu defeated “The Madness” Chris Hall by disqualification after JT Stahr and V-Rad blatantly interfered on behalf of their fellow Entourage member. Before the triple team could take full effect, Kimera and his trusty baseball showed up to even the odds.

The HWA Tag Team Champions, JT Stahr & V-Rad, defeated the team of Dave Anderson and Dylan Bostic in a non-title match.

HWA newcomer Jesse Emerson had an impressive showing against former two-time HWA Heavyweight Champion Jon Moxley. But in the end “The Most Dangerous Man in the HWA” picked up the victory.

HWA Heavyweight Champion Jake Crist successfully defended his HWA Heavyweight Title against Dick Rick. Like their previous encounter this match was a back and forth battle. As the match wore on The DR’s leg, that was injured a week earlier prior to the #1 Contender’s Match by Jon Moxley, would prove to be his downfall and gave an opening for Jake to pick up another win.

Surprisingly Jon Moxley did not interfere in the HWA Heavyweight Title match, living up to the promise he made to HWA President Tim Tatum.

Backstage following the match was another story as Jon Moxley viciously assaulted The DR. Footage from this heinous attack will air right here on HWAOnline.com this coming Saturday on Episode #8 of The Pulse.

Don’t forget the HWA presents A Fight at the Opera each and every Wednesday Night at the Sorg Opera House (63 S. Main Street – Middletown, OH). Tickets are only $5! And the action starts at 7:30 PM!
