NEW YEAR’S REVOLUTION 2008
RCW brings back the Lethal Lottery Tagteam Tournament for our first event of 2008.
2007 was such a great year for Revolutionary Championship Wrestling that we want to start 2008 off with a bang. January 5th, The Elk’s City Lodge in Portsmouth, OH will host NEW YEAR’S REVOLUTION. The 1 night tournament will have a drawing that will be held before each first round match during the tagteam tournament to determine the participants. Tagteams will be random. You may have friends teaming together or you may have foes comprising a team. The team that wins will have to go through 3 other teams, winning 3 matches in 1 night! The winning tagteam will EACH get a match of their choice anytime for the first 6 months of 2008. There is no way to predict what can happen in a tournament like this, so it should prove to be very interesting to say the least.
16 PARTICIPANTS IN THE RCW LETHAL LOTTERY
TAGTEAM TOURNAMENT
1. Juggulator 9. JD Santos
2. Ace Gigolo 10. Onyx
3. Wes Cannon 11. Debut of Corey Mason

Main Event for HWA Outbreak Announced
Posted: December 26, 2007
The main event for HWA Outbreak has been made official, “Buffalo Bad Boy” Brian Jennings, the soon to be longest reigning champion in HWA history, will put his HWA Heavyweight Title on the line against arguably his toughest challenger ever, BJ Whitmer.
Whitmer, who has tasted success both in the HWA and around the world for groups like Pro Wrestling NOAH and Ring Of Honor, was among several challengers lobbying to be named the #1 contender for the HWA Heavyweight Title, but his impressive victory over Chris Hero back at HWA Reborn was the difference maker and now BJ hopes to win the HWA Heavyweight Title for the very first time when the HWA returns to the Dayton Gym Club on Friday Night January 18th.
Also announced for HWA Outbreak…
Newly crowned IWA Mid-South Heavyweight Champion, Eddie Kingston will be in action squaring off with Chris Hero.
An HWA Tag Team Title Match with The GP Code (Andre Heart & Deja Vu) defending their titles against HWA newcomers, The Hybrids (Donovan Cain & Jason Lyte).
Plus the Maverick vs. Maverick match with tag team partners “Astonishing” Aaron Williams and “The Solution” Alan Wasylychyn going head to head.
Stay tuned to HWA Online as next week we will have an update on the HWA Cruiserweight Title situation as well as ticket information for HWA Outbreak.
Until then we wish the roster, staff and the fans of the Heartland Wrestling Association a very Merry Christmas and a happy holiday season!

IWA Comments on Their Future in Columbus
Posted: December 23, 2007
We regret to inform that the January 5th event set for Columbus Ohio, Screamin’ Willie’s, has been canceled. Fact is the IWA and Screamin’ Willie’s are parting ways. We would like to thank the club for hosting several monthly events for us but quite frankly feel they dropped the ball as far as trying to promote IWA Wrestling at their establishment.
First of all the IWA was the third wrestling promotion in modern times to be featured at the club. One promotion lasted for one show and the other for two. The IWA was able to more than double the number of events the two other promotions was able to put together, combined. In doing so we featured not only our core Superstars but other names such as the Honky Tonk Man, Wildcat Chris Harris, Zach Gowen, Doink the Clown, and Wildfire Tommy Rich.
Wile we recognize the fact that as a wrestling promotion it is our responsibility to promote our events, we feel it is a shame Screamin’ Willie’s did so little to plug our events. They would not even put us on their sign located in front of their club.
But we are putting all this behind us.
The IWA has reached an agreement with another facility in Columbus to start hosting our events. We apologize that we can not release the date of our first event at this time, but expect to do so within a week or two. It is possible we may even have a event in Columbus sometime in January. If not, February for sure.
The only hold up is that the new facility really wants to support us in our efforts to promote wrestling in Columbus, thus they our setting up a joint meeting with some of their contacts in the local media. Something Screamin’ Willie’s was not willing/able to do.
In the meantime, please remember that you can catch the mighty IWA in action in Chillicothe Ohio, at the Backstage, on January third.
Also, the IWA is hard at work in getting a weekly TV show up on our website. Our deal with Time Warner proved to be unworkable. To say they lied to us would be on the light side.
Many of you have noticed the new format at iwawrestling.com and have sent emails congratulating us. The webmaster is having a bit of problems with the video but is working hard in getting the first video started. Anyone with expertise in this area and is willing to help out can contact us thru our Myspace.
In closing, just let me say that we want to thank all our many loyal IWA fans, as well as our many Superstars who get it done in the ring. 2007 was a great year for us. I think 2008 will prove to be even better.
Results from NWF at Shimmer’s Ballroom

“Machine Gun” Chad 2 Badd Allegra defeated The Genuine Superstar Anthony Bryant.
Roger Ruffen brought out an imposter Abyss (Ryan Stone dressed up) and made all sorts of claims about controlling the monster.
Wildcat Chris Harris came out and said a few brief words before attacking Ruffen & Stone. They got the upperhand, but the real Abyss hit the ring and quickly cleared it of the Protected Ones. Wildcat said he was willing to sacrifice his NWF Title shot if Kirk Sheppard would indulge him and change the match into a No DQ TAG TEAM Match! Sheppard agreed and the match was set.
Sin D defeated Jenelle Sinclair.
Ice, Christopher Michael Lotus, & Aaron Williams defeated The Zodiacs & The Crybaby.
Austin Meddler pinned Dr. Melvin Winkleman with help from special guest referee Danny Montgomery. After the match, Winkleman attacked them both with a steel chair.
Dozer and Mr. Hayes were inducted into the NWF Hall of Fame.
The Buffalo Bad Boy Brian Jennings defeated Benjamin Kimera by DQ when Jon Moxley interfered.
Muldoon defeated Jon Moxley by DQ when Benjamin Kimera interfered. Buffalo ran out and all four men brawled until the fan favorites stood strong in the ring.
Tap or Snap & The Thugs wrestled to a Double Count out.
The Hippies defeated Mr. Hayes & Playboy Scott Hayes in a two out of three falls match when CEO Kirk Sheppard prevented Mr. Hayes from using a chair on Pompano Joe. The chair accidentally hit The Playboy and Mr. Hayes also accidentally hit himself with the chair allowing the Hippies to roll him up for the 1-2-3, which was counted by CEO Sheppard himself.
Abyss & Wildcat Chris Harris defeated Roger Ruffen and Ryan Stone in a No DQ Tag Team match when Wildcat pinned Ruffen.
WWC: Tons of News, Results & Upcoming Events
Posted: December 18, 2007

Well 2007 has come and gone officially for the World Wrestling Coalition and we will be posting here and on our new website www.wwcweb.com our year end review in the next two weeks but today we are going to hitting you with all the shocking news coming out of our last event of the year…
Christmas Chaos 2007!
*Jimmy Malloy beat Matt Taylor (filling in for the absent Jake Ashworth) in the 1st ever Christmas Chaos Match. A match that had a Christmas Tree set up with presents under the tree. In each present there was a weapon of some sort. Violent Bob was handcuffed to ringside during this but Malloy used a loaded stuffed teddy bear to secure the victory.
*Onyx beat three men in a Four Way Dance to retain the WWC North American Strong Style Championship. He pinned the debuting Roscoe Hickory in a match that also featured Devlin Anderson and JT Stahr.
*Tarek the Legend was handed his first pinfall loss of the year but not by his scheduled opponent of The Solution Alan Wasylychyn but by former Women’s Champion Kara Kildare. With a little help from Roscoe Hickory (a friend of Wasylychyn’s) Kildare did what no man could do all year long.
*Ricochet beat Dave Nevada scoring some revenge from loosing his tag titles. He brought in a new tag team partner in “Good Ole Boy” Justin Hollins for a impromptu tag team match with the tag champions Devlin Anderson & Dave Nevada but they chose to walk out (it wouldn’t be the last time that night) instead of risking a loss to Ricochet & Hollins.
*Mary Elizabeth used the ropes to her advantage in retaining the WWC Women’s Championship over respected Indy talent Hailey Hatred. After the match Naughtia showed up allying herself with the women’s champion.
*Big Kahuna Kenny Lucas & Aaron Williams put and end to the Profit Inc. war but it would be Profit Inc. itself that would put and end to the faction. Through out the night Nevada and Anderson were upset that Cody Hawk and Ganger were given higher ranking in the group than them. Ric Byrne made the mistake of saying “Well, your just not Cody Hawk and Ganger”. During the main event, Cody Hawk used the WWC Championship on Williams and made a cover. After making a mock 3 count he grabbed the championship and walked away.
Ric Byrne and Will Profit pleaded with him to return but he got what he wanted and left. That brought out Devlin Anderson & Dave Nevada, their bags were packed and they were ready to leave. Will Profit pleaded with them to help Ganger beat Kahuna (who due to Williams’ injury was left by himself.) But the Tag Team Champions simply walked away.
Ganger was slammed through the table by Big Kahuna thus ending the Kahuna/Profit Inc. war! After the match Ric Byrne and Will Profit walked out of the WWC saying the WWC won’t survive without them.
NEWS & NOTES
*The Big news is that Profit Inc. is no more. WWC Tag Team Champions Devlin Anderson & Dave Nevada, Cody Hawk, Ganger, Ric Byrne and Will Profit have all gone their separate ways. Ivanna Profit (missing from the event) learned of the break up from the Tag Champions after Christmas Chaos. We have been unable to reach her…It truly is the end of an era.
*Cody Hawk has the WWC Heavyweight Championship in his possession after stealing it during the Tag Team Tables Match. Aaron Williams came to back stage and was beyond angry. After management calmed him down, Williams demanded Cody Hawk one on one for the title at Resolution 2007. Stay tuned here to see how this one develops.
*Got to wonder is Cody Hawk has the title, will he show up at EGO Pro Tuesday night in Springdale with it?
*Tarek the Legend has three options for matches. Face Kara Kildare (the woman who pinned him at Christmas Chaos 2007), face Roscoe Hickory (The man who cost him the match) or The Solution Alan Wasylychyn (the mastermind behind the mind games leading to Tarek’s first pinfall lose in WWC.) What will it be? We’ll know more soon.
*Naughtia and Mary Elizabeth..>BFF? Don’t know but these two could spell doom from Hailey Hatred, Kara Kildare or any other women’s wrestler who wants to challenge Elizabeth.
*A former WWC Champion coming back? Lets just say there is a contract negotiation going on behind the scenes that may have a former WWC Champion making his return in January!
*The Tri-State Rumble is heating up and they are coming from all over. Roscoe Hickory, “Good Ole Boy” Justin Hollins and Mr. Old School are just a few of the names added to the list. January 26th in West Union is shaping up to be a huge event.
